I had an amazing time at One&Only The Palm! The atmosphere was serene and luxurious, with beautiful surroundings and top-notch service. Had dinner here with a friend and really enjoyed it! The food was delicious, the view was lovely, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The hotel itself looks beautiful — stylish design, a great pool, and a gorgeous beach. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

This happened on April 12, 2025 in One&Only The Palm.
I was at the One&Only The Palm hotel with my family. After sunset, I got out of the water and went back to the sunbeds, then wrapped myself in warm towels. It was around 6:40 PM. A waiter immediately came up to me to settle the bill. After payment, I was told that he had to work overtime because of us and that I needed to leave the beach as service had been stopped. I replied that I could put away the towels myself and that I had just come out of the water and wasn't going anywhere because someone's working hours had ended. The waiter rolled his eyes and left. He didn't tell me his name.
After a while, the beach manager appeared, who also refused to give his name during the conversation. He stood right in front of my sunbed and deliberately blocked the view of the evening Palm Jumeirah bay. He kept urging me to leave the beach and go to the pool. To which I stated that we (me, my mother, and sister) have been coming to the hotel more than once to enjoy the sea air, and not breathe chlorine over the water. We weren't going to swim again, we didn't ask for new towels, we just wanted to calmly finish our stay at the hotel, which we were not allowed to do. I would also like to remind you that we had just come out of the water.
The manager left and returned with a security guard. It is important to note that the security guard also did not state his name. Moreover, he turned his badge, attached to his belt, to the other side so that I could not read the name of the person behaving so disgracefully with the visitors. He came up close to my sunbed, leaned over me and did everything to make me feel as uncomfortable as possible. He stated that he was urging my family to leave from the beach for our safety, but the only danger I felt was from him.
As a result, we left the beach. All this arguing with the staff took about 30 minutes.
I am writing this review in the hope of reaching the top management of the One&Only chain, as from conversations with the local management, I understood that they are not going to do anything. The only thing they offered me was two free beach accesses, but this makes no sense if I'm going to be forcibly kicked off the beach again in the end.
The hotel should take the following measures:
1. Return name badges on clothing. None of the employees introduced themselves and they behaved extremely inappropriately for a hotel of this high level.
2. Accept the norm that the beach can remain partially cleaned after closing. The main thing is that guests can calmly finish their stay. You can't kick guests out! If you are really concerned about the safety of your clients, the security guard can be nearby at this time so that the guests are in his field of vision.
3. Employees must understand that despite the official working hours, they work until the last client. This is the golden standard. Guests are not kicked off the beach at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai Marina, Waldorf Astoria on Palm Jumeirah or Al Qasar. One&Only is the most expensive of the hotels I have listed, but at the same time, only it allows such disgusting behavior of its employees towards guests.
4. Take action against three beach employees (waiter, beach manager, and security guard). I specifically indicated the exact date and time of the events so that you have the opportunity to understand who I had to argue with. I remind you, no one mentioned their names. Accordingly, no one felt responsible for what they were doing.
It saddens me to write this review because I see how much intelligence and money has been invested in the concept of this hotel. My family and I have been here several times in 2024 and even celebrated the New Year 2025 at the 101 restaurant. Unfortunately, the human factor ruins everything, and the experience of the last stay takes away the desire to return.

We had an unforgettable experience at One&Only, where we also hosted our wedding. From start to finish, everything was impeccable. The team went above and beyond to make our special day perfect, and the beautiful venue created the ideal backdrop for our celebration.
A big highlight for us was how accommodating and thoughtful the staff were, especially with my mom, who required a wheelchair. They provided excellent service and ensured her comfort throughout our stay. Their kindness and attentiveness made this experience even more meaningful for our family!

We were upgraded to the Residence section of the hotel. It was fabulous only 48 rooms and suites. The pool was WOW with plenty of loungers and cabanas which had refrigerators ! Also nice touch was a cool bag with water crisps towels etc. Beach cabanas spread far apart on a huge private section of beach each with own decking.
