Back for the 5th time to Sofitel the Palm.
Last time was before COVID. Quality of the building, services and staff remains excellent after all these years. Appartment size was imoressive. Can't wait for our next time. Special call out to Aushan whose attention to details at the Porter House restaurant made our time there so enjoyable. Amazing dinner as well at the Hong Loong restaurant: so so tasty. Beach and sea were very clean. Some interesting novelties launched since our last visit: the Laguna beach taverna and lounge, as well as the premier lounge. Brilliant ideas.

From the moment I arrived at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The staff were exceptionally warm, professional, and attentive- ensuring every detail of my stay was seamless and luxurious.
The resort itself is a tropical haven, beautifully designed with a perfect blend of French elegance and Polynesian charm. My room was immaculate, spacious, and offered breathtaking views that made the morning feel like paradise.
One of the highlights of my stay was kayaking along the serene waters of the private beach and the palm. It was the perfect way to soak in the beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings—an experience I’ll never forget. The gym was also amazing, well equipped and opened 24 hours.
Dining was another standout; every meal was a delight, with an impressive variety of options and consistently high-quality cuisine. The service throughout the hotel was impeccable, and the personal touches truly made me feel like a valued guest.
Thank you to the entire team at Sofitel The Palm for creating such a memorable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating escape in Dubai.

Lovely hotel on the Palm. We felt extremely well looked after and valued by all staff. Upon arrival we received a surprise upgrade to the newly renovated Palm suites which were beautiful and spacious and with a dedicated butler we were extremely lucky. Plenty of sunloungers on the beach and by the pools even though the hotel was busy. We ate at all the restauarants our favourite being Laguna Beach and Porterhouse. Breakfast offered a huge choice of everything you could possibly want. The gym was well equipped other than needing more mats. Good hotel shops, a mini mart and a pharmacy.

Another lovely stay at the Sofitel. We stayed in the Signature Palm Suites 5201, the rooms and the view were fantastic. Club lounge was great, Raul and Elina’s Team all amazing. Also our butler Omar and the rest of the team were great and were very responsive. Team at the beach and all the restaurants were always so friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Rachel & Darren

The beach is the best part of this resort—very clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. It’s clear that the outdoor areas are well looked after and it really adds to the experience.
Our stay included breakfast, which was generous with a wide variety of selections. The staff at breakfast—and really throughout the resort—were consistently friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Their warm service was one of the highlights of our trip.
We tried a couple of the on-site restaurants as well. The Indian restaurant had flavorful dishes—spicy for sure, but tasty. The service there was just okay, nothing particularly memorable. On the other hand, the Greek restaurant offered decent food, but what really stood out was the atmosphere and the excellent service—very polished and enjoyable overall.
Unfortunately, the rooms were disappointing. They’re noticeably outdated, with worn furniture and tired decor. The hallways had a strong musty smell that was hard to ignore, and the overall interior upkeep just didn’t match the standard of the beachfront or the staff.
This resort has potential thanks to its location and service, but until the rooms and indoor areas are renovated, I wouldn’t be in a rush to return.
