I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to assist with anything I needed. A special mention goes to Magdalena, the animator, who was an absolute gem. She is such a kind and helpful person, always making sure everyone had a great time. Whether it was organizing activities or just offering a friendly smile, she made my stay even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated her warmth and dedication. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and unforgettable experience!

Came to dreams with my husband, mother and 5 year old daughter. Stayed for 9 days. 9 days of what I can only describe as the worst possible customer service and treatment we have ever received. If you have a family member, in particular a child with additional needs, do not even consider this hotel. While the hotel itself is beautiful and the location is great the staff were below average and treated us very poorly. We booked a triple room as we specified our child would sleep with us and had additional needs. We also booked preferred club to get the benefit. On arrival the receptionist demanded we be downgraded to another room at the far side of the Hotel and made us pay an additional 700 euro extra. They assured us we would get the same benefits even though the room was not preferred club: the next 9 days consisted of us being turned away from preferred club pool, lounge etc because of room number not being “preferred club” even though we explained the situation. Our cards wouldn’t work and we had to return to reception sometimes twice daily. A pool guard even told my husband “please leave you don’t belong here” because we didn’t have the correct color towel. Again all because of the mix up caused by receptionist: we explained my daughter had to have a blended diet and we needed to take the included breakfast back to the room to blend it. They said they would make note! Every morning it was a battle with staff to take the food out. Embarrassing our entire family with the scene! To add insult to injury when we finally got the meals to the room, they had the cheek to add €10 room service each time! Disgusting behaviour
We complained several times to no avail, on check out we spoke to a manager called KAREN and she was hideous, smiled into my face when I asked her if the hotel cared about families with kids with additional needs. Not sorry and made us feel even worse. Horrible experience, will never again return. If you want 2 star service then this is your place!!

We had a fantastic stay! The location couldn’t be better, right across from a gorgeous beach and within walking distance of everything, even without a car.
The facilities were great, especially the gym, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of variety.
There were lots of fun activities every day, and Victor, the animator, really stood out. His energy, creativity, and constant good vibes made the experience unforgettable. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Thank you all!!!

We stayed at Dreams Lanzarote Playa Dorada with the all-inclusive package, and overall, the experience was below what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel — I'd rate it closer to 4 stars tops.
Food & Drinks:
Cocktails were very good, and the à la carte restaurants truly stood out — every dish we had was top quality, and the service there was impeccable. However, the buffet was underwhelming: the selection was repetitive, with about 15 options repeated at both lunch and dinner daily. For a 5-star hotel, we expected more variety.
It’s also not clearly communicated which drink brands are included for standard all-inclusive guests and which are reserved for Preferred Club, which can cause some confusion. For example, Corona beer was included at some bars (like the lobby), but not at others (like the pool bar), which felt inconsistent.
Facilities & Amenities:
The hotel has four à la carte restaurants, and we were told two would be open each day. However, during the last two days of our stay, only one — the same one — was operating, which was disappointing.
Access to the spa costs an extra €37.50 per person per day, which feels odd considering the "all-inclusive" label — it’s definitely not all-inclusive in practice. Another downside is that although the hotel has three pools, only one is available to standard all-inclusive guests. The other two are reserved for “Preferred Club” guests, which requires an additional €60 per person per day. Sadly, this wasn’t clearly explained by our booking agency.
Building & Maintenance:
The building itself is nice, but certain maintenance issues brought down the overall experience. There was mould in the bathroom, which is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this category — I would expect a five-star hotel to refresh rooms annually. We also had a water leakage right outside our room on one day, and at one point, there was no electricity for half a day. I had left my devices to charge and returned to find no power — unfortunately, the hotel didn't offer any complimentary service or gesture of goodwill to make up for the inconvenience. Honestly, I’ve seen better service in 5-star hotels in Egypt and Tunisia, so I expected more from a resort in the Canary Islands.
There was plenty of free sunbeds at all times of the day, probably it was not a very busy period.
Service & Operations:
The staff were very friendly — especially the lady at the lobby bar in the evenings, who was always welcoming. The sports bar was also a great spot where they’d gladly put on whatever you wanted to watch.
However, the card system is poorly managed: you need to carry your key card everywhere, as there's no wristband for all-inclusive guests. Most of the time, card scanners don’t work properly, so you end up repeating your room number constantly to access restaurants or order at the bar — inefficient and frustrating.
Overall:
Nice location, and the potential is definitely there, but the hotel needs to significantly improve service consistency, communication, and maintenance to truly match the 5-star label.

Our holiday was amazing, but what truly made it unforgettable was Arii! From the very first day, her bright smile, positive energy, and genuine connection with everyone stood out. She’s the heart and soul of the animation team—always present, always kind, and always lifting the mood with a laugh or a kind word.
Of course, the rest of the team was fantastic as well—Victor, Laszlo, Pablo, and Valentina, thank you for bringing so much fun and joy every day!
The location couldn’t be better—right across from a beautiful beach and within walking distance of everything. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the whole staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Thank you all for such a special experience—we’ll carry the memories with us for a long time! ❤️
