We spent a week here and honestly had a great time. The apartment was clean and well equipped with a lovely view from the balcony. The food was generally really nice and there was always something for everyone.
The only problem was the other guests there, there is a lot of loud rowdy people. But that isn’t the hotels fault and for how cheap it is, it will attract that market of people and it didn’t ruin the holiday at all. Just chose to sit in the quietest corner of the sun lounger area!
Staff were all very friendly and always happy to help

Laguna Park 2 provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay during our time in Tenerife. The apartment was spacious and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment to unwind after a day of exploring. The pool area was lovely and provided a great place to soak up the sun. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. While we had a pleasant experience overall, there were some minor issues with cleanliness in the common areas and occasional noise disturbances. Despite these small drawbacks, we still had a wonderful time and would consider returning in the future.

Firstly, there are some bad reviews, but you have got to remember, everyone experiences things differently. The location of the hotel is great. The view is stunning and would love to wake up to that view every day. It's a 16-minute transfer from the airport. The hill is not to be under estimated. It's steep, and it does hurt your legs after a few days, but you get your exercise and steps in! On a couple of days, we did get a taxi, which is 5 euros. It is not a hotel for anyone with mobility issues.
The rooms were basic but clean. You had a big and small towel per person, a microwave, a kettle, a fridge, and a cooker top if you wanted to cook. It also has a lot of kitchen utensils if you were self-catering. The beds are hard, but you can sleep OK in them. You will see some cockroaches around, but there are not that many, and it's to be expected given the heat. Your room is cleaned every other day with fresh towels and beds made and the bedding is changed once in the week we were there. The cleaning staff are great and friendly and do a good job of keeping the hotel clean. There is a TV but you need to pay a deposit for the remote. Not sure how great it is because we took a tablet with us with downloaded things already on to watch later at night. There is no WiFi in the rooms. You can connect at the entertainment part near the reception.
The food is what you make it. You are in a different country.. remember that when it comes to the food! There are some dishes that are amazing and some that are just edible. But there is something that most people can find to eat. This hotel has the best english breakfast in it from the few hotels I have stayed in. Yes, it's turkey bacon, but the rest of it is lovely. The toasters, though, do take a long time. We had to put the bread through 5 times for it to be lightly toasted. The fruit juices are super sweet, but you can get water. They have individually packed small ice creams, which we all enjoyed at lunch and evening meal. You can also get these from the snack bar by the pool. The food by the snack bar is limited. The burgers aren't great, but if you're peckish, they always have chips. They do sell pizzas at 8.50 euros, which are lovely and small packs of crisps for 2 euros. However, there are shops and food places just down the hill if you want to eat out or get snacks.
The majority of the staff are all lovely. They work really hard and across multiple areas of the hotel. They smile and are pleasant and are there to help. I can't remember the bold mans name on the bar and restaurant, but he was awesome. He has a little joke with you and is always smiling and laughing, which is great to see. There are two DJs. I preferred the male to the female DJ. The entertain is not the best, and the same music is played nearly every night. Some nights there is a quiz or bingo, and the kids' disco is 8.30 until 9. I didn't mind the same music because it's the music with dances too so I would always dance to them. My husband didn't like it towards the end but each to their own. The entertain may not be great, but like any night out, it is what you make it. We met a mum and son and had a great time and played cards back in the room. During our stay we watched an English man be extremely rude towards the staff with no good reason. Honestly, it's people like that that give all of us English people a bad name, and there was no need for it. The staff do a great job.
The pool is beautiful but it is ice cold. The kids got used to it, but I didn't. It's lovely to sit around with plenty of beds available. Remember your towel!
The area is beautiful. There are different excusions that you can book. We booked a small boat for a sea trip. I would not recommend this. We shared it with 2 other people, and we did not feel safe on it, and he didn't stop for a swim, which is what we were looking forward to. We also did Aqua Land. The dolphin show was amazing. There is loads to do so there will be something for everyone.
We loved our holiday and spending time with the family. We will be back. Thank you

Located up a steep hill, very exhausting getting back to the hotel after a night out. Ended up using a lot of taxis. No WiFi apart from reception. Our room was located next to the pool which wasn't bad but the hotel had no control over most of the guest there so people was screaming and shouting and in and out of the pool at all hours through the night. If you want an enjoyable experience don't waste your money here, pay a little extra and book a hotel closer to the beach and definitely research the reviews before booking. View at sunset was good.

All things considered I decided to rate 4 stars. We reserved room via the resort's own website and paid at site by cash, card was accepted too. Service was good, beds were ok. The third bed under the sofa is excellent. Our room had a well enough equipped kitchen but was missing some things like corkscrew. We saw one cockroach during our stay in the hotel, and that was honestly our fault for keeping the door open all day. The cockroach was easy to throw out. The janitors were mostly friendly and cleaned the rooms well. Promises by staff were kept. Breakfast separately bought cost 8 euros.
I would spend a little more for my hotel next time, but definitely a good choice if on a budget. I don't regret staying here.
