The glasses for all inclusive drinks like coke etc can be cheap coke and in small glasses like shots. The food is OK but very repetitive and also gets very crowded. Great location on the beach. Despite being a 3-star hotel, the level of service and overall quality exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a 3 star hotel so don't expect it to be 5 star. If something is not right, u need to keep asking the reception many time until it's fixed. Fully packed during day because of aqua park. There is a guy in the reception is help full. But don't ask them when they busy. Give them sometime until they free.

Marabout hotel we come here for 8 weeks at time. Food there's plenty of choice .fish chicken beef etc lots of salads and it's fine. Large pool with water slides Right on beach. Clean tidy rooms .when we want some thing like towels bedding just ask cleaners always help . Entertainment kids disco. local acts ie dancing . Jugglers typical stuff . But for what it costs here you can't complain its fine . Never any issues ever. We go into sousse at night no problems traditional music in bars friendly locals you feel safe and welcome taxi cost a few dinars back to hotel . It's OK the marabout were fine there. Depends what your personal expectations are. If you want 5 star for 3 star money then don't go book some where 3 times the cost and be happy.

Hotel is 3.5 km far away from the center so who would like to go to center must use taxi which price is 5-6e, you must haggle with taxi drivers. Cleopatra beach is near but the entrance in the sea at the beach of the hotel is very dangerous because sea has a lot of rocks. So my advice is to go to the beach 16 or smaller(15...1 - here is the purest water) Rooms and terraces are very small. There is no enough space to sit on the terrace. Food is very bad, every day same food. Only the kebab was perfect, kebab is served for the dinner only. A lot of people had diarrhea problem probably because the Turkish food which is very spicy. Turkish bath in the hotel I don't suggest, it is cheaper from the bath in the center but the massage in the center is much better. Internet and strongbox must pay additional. The pool is good for the kids. Pool depth is 160-170cm. Every day music on the pool is the same and it is too much loud. If you want to sleep near the pool it is not possible. Weather is very tough especially for the person who never had been in that weather conditions. Humidity is problem because it is very high especially in the July and August. It is better in the September, a locals said that.

‼️‼️‼️Rooms are dirty, there are bugs in them and when we arrived ,there was six less places than we booked because other guestst renewed their booking with +1 day...food is almost every time cold, some of our members got food poisoning and get in hospital because of it, one broke 2 fingers on her foot because of poor maintenance of the ladder in the pool...don't recommend this hotel at all. Only advantage is the beach, it's close and beautiful, and just for info, it's wavy every day...😁🌊

TL:DR RUN! DIRTY! SMELLY! DISGUSTING! NO FREE WIFI! Electricity/water outage ! We arrived at 3 am. The person at the reception knew only about five English words in total. He showed us to our room (106), which looked like it was furnished in the late 70s or maybe 60s. The toilets were very smelly even without being used, and the smell didn't go away at all. If you expected the air conditioning to work, you are partly correct. In room 106, it pretty much didn't work, even though it was running and making noise. We tried to resolve our issues, and we were given only one option: to swap rooms. The manager and a receptionist with decent English were very accommodating, and they allowed us to check multiple rooms. We found some with working AC and non-smelly toilets, and they let us switch to them for a fee of 50 euros for four people. As for room cleaning and room equipment, that's a different story. The room didn't have half of the bed covers/towels, and ones we had looked used, meaning they were dirty. Talking about room cleaning, we only got our floor cleaned every three days without changing towels or bed covers. We also had to ask for toilet paper and shampoos at the reception because we weren't getting them at all. Now, let's talk about the food. Brace yourself. Breakfast was okay to good, but then it went downhill really fast. Lunch always consisted of about six main dishes, and if you were very lucky, one of them would change from time to time. There were also some salads, watermelons, and oranges (the fruits were very good). For dessert, there were multiple options, but they all tasted the same; only the food coloring was different. Most of them tasted pretty bad, except for one. Dinner was basically the same story as lunch. The pool was great in the first few days of the trip. The water was clean with an azure hue and not much dirt. After the first few days, more people came, and I'm not sure if they stopped cleaning the pool, but the water turned yellow, and we stopped visiting it. Half of the sunbeds by the pool had holes in them—just a side note. The bar had plastic glasses, and most of them had a yellow hue. We hoped that it was their original color, but we were skeptical since most of the glasses looked dirty. They also knew we were a group of four, but they only allowed one person to take one drink at a time, which didn't make sense at all. The toilets near the reception were in the same state as the toilet in room 106—smelly to the extent of fainting. I'm sure I forgot some details, but this should be enough to not ruin your own holiday. Oh almost forgot the ceiling at the dinning room partilly collapsed on one day and in last few days electricity and water was working like 50% of the time. Stay safe!

The location of the hotel is perfect in terms of proximity to the beach and the market, but the service, quality, customer communication, duty, mission, vision, aesthetics are all destroyed, terrible. The meals are okay. Never waste your money by booking and think carefully. They also channel them to different hotels for permanent accommodation. CHAOS!!!

A perfectly located hotel close to the beach and restaurants. Spotlessly clean with a wonderful team of caring staff. Fran and Sofia at reception were incredibly helpful as were Julian, Patrick and Caesar in the restaurant/bar. The rooms could do with a refurbishment but this did not detract from a rather brilliant holiday. Our thanks to all at the La Geria.

Described as a 4 star, more so 3 due to the dated room, rest of hotel has a modern feel. Staff friendly, helpful and praise to our cleaner who kept our room tidy. Rm 318 had sun from 10am until 4pm. Bed and breakfast booking, breakfast was fine, queues for coffee machines are the norm. Slight ingle, grapefruit segments appeared then disappeared on various days!!. No problem with sun loungers, palm trees around pool prevent full sun. Room safe was free.

Experience is over it's price. Absolutely worth it in general. Pros Friendly staff at reception. Rooms have everything you need: super wide beds and good water pressure. Really tasty food. Not a lot of entertainment - just aqua aerobics and music in the evening - for us it is great—one of the best beaches in front of the hotel. Little cones There are a few rude waitres (maybe too intense work affects this). If you take half board - you need to pay for beverages on dinner, not only for Coke or alcohol but also for the usual water. But supermarkets are close to the hotel to solve this nonsense service issue.

4 ⭐ for room because small things like tiny mini fridge missing one of the legs and make it wobbly. Size of the fridge allowed you to put 2 bottles of water and 2 cans of soft drinks and it was hard to close door. Another thing was loud and not very efficient air conditioning. We prefer to turn it off at night and sleep with balcony door open. The good things now: room very clean, towels and bedsheets clean and changed every day. Very nice and friendly staff. Good and fresh food for breakfast (we choose breakfast only option). Great location, very close to beach, local shops and restaurants. Overall I would recommend this place and personally I'll be happy to visit myself again.

For me Perfect. Great location 10 min walk beach or strip. Yes on a slopped hill so up or down but great cardio and not bad once done it once. My room was down some good stairs but private and spacious. Room was Immaculately clean. Fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. Large private outdoor area. Powerful shower seating area in and out. Downside, next door is amusement area music is till late but I was out so don't bother me. Building works next door also so some 8am walked ups. Rooms do need updating and paint work and the skirting does need correcting but clean lovely helpful staff. For lower budget worth it.

Terrible discusting damp mouldy pillows walked out and booked another apartment across the road. Want my money back. Your web didn't mention mouldy pillows and members of staff to busy smoking outside. I asked to moved and I was told it would cost a further 150 euro. When shown to that room that also smelt of damp. Considering its cheap I'll overlook the obvious issues. Perfect location, adequately equipped with a hob, microwave and some bowls, plates etc plus a frying pan and saucepan. . Cleaners are great and the beds comfortable. Admittedly it's tired...furniture all worn and the pool is a bit grim. Lets face it you probably won't be spending loads of time in the room. The lounge is a bit grim tbh but theres a sofa bed and plastic chairs A big reception area and helpful staff. Supermarkets nearby The location is perfect. 1 minute from a sandy beach with other beaches within a 10 minute walk. The bus stop is around the corner but I'd recommend the bolt app....taxis cheaper than busses. The old town is a short taxi ride or 45 min walk away. The reception staff are super helpful too.

Me and my Partner booked at last minute and we choose a location near by the beach, as the hotels for this particular saturday of june was going quite fast , we came across this advert for Soldoiro Apartment, close to the beach , nice and very presentable apartments so we decide to booked. As we arrived there we had the luck to have one space left at the car park, as the reception mentioned the car park is first come first serve, which I was quite ok with it. Arrived at the reception done the checking and went to the apartment. As it was the last apartment available for this day and we was so tired from the trip we just got on with the situation, but all what I can say is if You come to this Hotel and they put you on one of those ground floor apartment, please ask to move to another one straight way. The smell on this particular one was really bad, look like some one clean the apartment with bleach and left the apartment closed for few days , as well the curtains was very dirty I mean very dirty. As we just stayed for two days we left the windows open all the time which did help a little bit. About the breakfast it is simple , and the people at the reception they was ok.

Overall a really nice place to stay. The rooms are nice and big. The majority of things did work in my room. The only downside is that the pool was not cleaned in the morning and lots of pints and bottles were left there for the following day. Staff were really helpful and nice, at times the place did need more staff as one member of staff covered the downstairs bar and reception at the same time, but I guess my trip was in May - off peak. I have attached a picture from our balcony view, room 26. The location of the hotel is spot on, 5 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minute walk to the strip. 37 minute walk to old town or €4.5 Uber trip. The downstairs lobby near the pool has a bar with local beer for €2.5 or Koperberg on tap for €4. However, nothing is stopping you from taking a couple of beers from a shop to the pool. As you go to the beach, right at the beach front there are a couple of restaurants, the one to the right as you walk down from the hotel serves a fantastic full British breakfast for €8.

A group of us had booked a trip to Benidorm for a birthday we were in 3 different hotels I'm glad I didn't not stay in this on. When a hotel is charging €50 per head deposit before you get your room keys it speak volumes. The lads that actually stayed there were not impressed i only got into their reception and the bar. only good thing is the location

The hotel is located at a good location but it was difficult to find it.. The room was clean, but the duvets were torn. There was no electric catle in the room. WiFi was not working properly. One day before our departure, it stopped working. It was reported to a receptionist.The receptionist was not willing to help and was not able to speak English properly. Breakfast was a night mare. Overall, I will give it one star.

3 star Hotel ? You have to be kidding. Air con turned off to save costs Roasting hot bedrooms. Positively dangerous access to shower over bath. Toilet almost underneath wash basin. Very pleasant helpful young man on reception you deserve to work in a better place. If you have booked this place be prepared to lower your expectations considerably and have good holiday insurance.

I'm 5"2 and wouldn't fit in the bath crossed legged!! My 6"2 friend was too tall for the shower (it was level with his chest!?).The attachment holding the shower snapped before we could even try the shower, reception had this repaired quickly though. The room was cold 🥶 and extremely basic. No fridge, no tea facilities. The view was of other hotel users windows ( like a metre directly in front of our window). Its €20 to upgrade to a room with a balcony and those look out onto the old Town. But on looking in the upgraded room the balcony is small and feels unsafe(old/dated) It was not worth an upgrade. The hotels location is perfect and the staff were helpful where needed but this is about the only plus to your stay here. I would not recommend taking children to this hotel, there is literally nothing here to keep them entertained. Or you adults for that matter. Very very basic. Ideal if your spending you time here very very drunk you shouldn't notice the level of basic they provide. Over and out.

Small hotel right in centre of town. You have to pay 100E if you wish a balcony. Missed having a pool. Food oh dear, chicken nuggets, chicken legs, NO chicken breasts, NO steak or beef. Rice, chips, salad but to be honest STAFF made up for it. Lovely lovely staff. Didn't put us of our holiday. Reasonably priced so..........

So clean, food although buffet style was great, and fresh. Slight downside... charging a euro for a plastic cup for your drink when your all inclusive. Yes I know you get the euro back when you take the cup back but its an unnecessary charge.

The biggest problem is its location: almost 1km far from the beach, you have to really climb up narrow paths and stairs up to a hill, to reach it. Unless you will use taxis- not so easy to find them and costly. Not recommended for old people. The receptionists aren't so friendly and helpful, speaking only basic English and Spanish. By the exception of a young guy named Jonathan: so polite, friendly and resolving any problem very quickly. A real treasure! The intercontinental buffet breakfast is poor, with a limit variety, and not with the best quality. My room 0454 was a spacious, clean with a sea view and marbled spacious bathroom. But no toiletries at all - though advertising so. To my surprise, there wasn't any telephone list with numbers for the reception, the bar, etc, which is unacceptable. Wi-fi was OK. Another BIG issue is the pool bar: open till late, it attracts groups of drunk people, shouting, loudly laughing till very late in the open air preventing all residents to sleep before 2.00 am. No control from the reception or the staff and with so many strongly complaining about that. Such a disrespect! In general NOT a 4 star hotel, NOT RECOMMENDED for holidays in Torremolinos, hence the general very low rate in the reviews.

Room was very dirty and full of ants. They made the bed every day but never changed the sheets. The food was disgusting and very limited selection. Every time you ordered a drink from the bar you had to pay 1 euro deposit for a plastic cup that a child would drink from. The bar only had locally produced drinks not like most hotels where you can buy a bottled beer or a nice wine. It's very basic and expensive a half pint of beer is 4 euros and a gin on tonic 7 euros. There is a lot of nice hotels on the Costa Del Sol but this is not 1 of them. Please don't waist your hard earned money avoid this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for a week in mid-September. The room was quite spartan and had a small balcony but it was otherwise clean (room 113). The facility itself was perfectly fine and the pool area cosy. Not many people booked sunbeds, but I can imagine that it is worse in high season. The pool bar was cozy but quite a few seats under cover. The system of leaving a Euro as a deposit for one's "cup" was extremely clever and ensured that there was no glass high and low at the pool area. The dining room was okey but the noise level can be quite high. The food was so so. I would have expected a better selection of fresh vegetables and different kinds of bread also for lunch/dinner. The biggest problem was that the food that was supposed to be hot was not hot enough and the food that was supposed to be cold was not cold enough. That regardless of whether you arrived 10 minutes after the service had opened. This in turn is extremely problematic when it comes to buffets and made me refrain from certain dishes. And no I should not have to use the microwawe for warm food when I'm at a restaurant. The breakfast was amazingly good and the best meal of the day. I think the location was superb with close to the beach in La Carihuela and about 15 minutes walk to Plaza San Miguel. The best thing about the entire stay was the hotel staff, however. From the time I stepped into the hotel until I went home. They were absolutely fantastic! As a solo traveler and a woman, you don't always get friendly treatment from the hotel staff, but there was no problem here. The staff were friendly, pleasant and extremely welcoming. Thank you to all the hotel staff for making my week amazing and memorable. I will definitely book this hotel again.

Great location, fantastic staff. We stayed on the 6th floor and the view was fantastic. Went half board breakfast was great and could always find something for dinner. Didn't mind their was no entertainment as we wanted to go out and explore anyway. Had a great holiday and would love to come back.

Hotel is dated, the air con was not working it was 36 degrees outside can you imagine inside. Beds are two singles pushed together, not good when you are hubby and wife, can't come together as you fall through the middle. The food is repetitive everyday (no taste). Drinks are good value £1 to £2 euros. Everything is walking distance which is good. Next time different hotel.

Location is fab. Staff are nice.... No fridge had to ask for one. No kettle as we are bed and breakfast. Room out dated. Beds are 2 single pushed together that comes apart at night !! No fresh snacks throughout the day like other all-inclusive hotels. Hotel is definitely not a 4 everyone we have spoken too are saying the same 2 star. The hotel replies the negative comments and has not done anything we can see of. Won't be returning and should say 4 star but reviews given it a 2

Just stayed here for 4 nights. Yes it's a little bit dated but my room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff were lovely and helpful. Close to Charco which is ideal for me. Liked it enough that we have now cancelled our hotel in October for Puerto and booked here instead. Only complaint is because it has an all inclusive option the pool area was very busy and I couldn't get a sunbed in 4 days. But seems to be wasted space where the mini golf area is...maybe change that and put sunbeds instead

After reading all the reviews we thought we were in for a week of hell but wow we were pleasantly surprised. On arrival the receptionist was so friendly and polite, told us where we could find all the bars and restaurants as we arrived at 10pm. The room is slightly dated but we were expecting this as it’s an old hotel, we’ve been to many 3 stars and wasn’t expecting it to be a palace for the money. Our room 2322 was clean and spacious, had a small fridge, large balcony and aircon. The aircon does work but it’s not the best, it takes the room temperature down a few degrees and moved the air around at least. The room was cleaned every day, had fresh towels and beds made. The food at the hotel was a lot better than we expected, there was plenty of choice and lots of it. Some days were similar but we didn’t mind as we do like to eat out and support the local restaurants too. The drinks were in proper glasses and the barman gave good measures, you got full pints which is unlike most places we’ve stayed. The pool bar drinks were served in small plastics cups which personally I thought were too small and I had to keep getting up to get more. The coffee at the bar and pool bar is great if you’re into your coffee. The pool area is big enough and we could always find a couple of loungers to sun bathe on. Sunbathing on the roof was great, the views are spectacular! The location is perfect, just up the hill 5 minutes walk away from the town. The staff are all very friendly and go out there way to help you with your needs, wether it’s a special drink or dietary request. Overall HC Magec exceeded our expectations and I would recommend it to anyone that is familiar with this sort of budget 3/4 star holidaying. Thanks to all the staff who made my visit memorable.

Been here several times always great weather. The apartments are looking a bit tired but are being renovated slowly . Several bars and an excellent five star restaurant on the complex. Three pools one of which is in process of upgrade . All in all here for te sun so no complaints

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING .. on arrival Receptionist very unpolited after long journey my mum needed the loo . These are downstairs in reception I had to help mum down the stairs as they are very poorly lit . Walls were crumbling handrail was falling off . 2 out of 3 toilets were covered in feaces. We got keys to our apartment originally booked a 2 bedroom but were given a 1 bed due to change of departure date . Doors were very unsafe 1 wouldn't lock (onto main street) and wood was crumbling away . No kettle or toaster and microwave was disgusting . Bed settee was scruffy arm rests were hanging off and all support had been broken felt like you were sitting on floor . Light and plug sockets were either not working or hanging off wall cwiling fan looked like it was just held on by 1 screw and electrical wires. In bedroom wardrobes had 1 handle stains all over base of beds . In bathroom toilet seat was split .. we wrote all of this down and took it over to reception . The response we got was well here is a cloth and some cleaning spray you not happy you clean as cleaner has just been in for you and we don't have any other rooms to offer you as we are fully booked . Outside the room the patio area tiles are broken and very poorly lit . Pool area was clean but sunbeds and sun canopys have definitely seen their day . Please don't judge us as we always go cheap and cheerful would never return.

Love fuerteventura it's a family favourite destination for holidays, though it seems to have gone a little downhill. First time staying without family on a friend trip and even with how cautious we were got broken into, doors had clearly been locked as lock was sticking out of the door still but had been forced open and had damage to locks, when reported security stated they would look into it and come by in the morning but nothing was done/no one came. Woman next door to us stated that her doors had just been fixed as their locks were damaged, sounding like there's quite a few break ins and security cameras only face the pool so can't really catch everything, staff around pool work really hard and are great for a natter and the pool is perfect for keeping cool. Shame about the break in really and poor service from security, just keep your important belongings on you at all times I.e euros and passport etc. Nothing was actually taken as our important belongings were still in our bags on us and we were out at the time of break in, that however put us more on edge because if it wasn't jewellery or electronic devices they were looking for was it money or people instead?? Other than the break in putting us on edge, we had a lovely holiday and probably would return if they would be more on it with security.

OK so you get what you pay for here,rooms (we had two due to the load music every night from the zanzibar)are basic and a tad uncomfortable with the sofa also used as third bed,look I'm not gunna bang on about everything but I'll just say the whole place needs some money spent on it and shown some love, at least pay someone to go and collect the fag butt's up from where they shouldn't be and for the love of god invest in new sunbeds!!!!!! Main pool area is really lovely with singers and entertainment most afternoons,staff are also very friendly especially the lady that booked us a taxi for airport (Sunday evening 24th September) I think if you go here taking all reviews into account it's OK.🏖🔥

Very poor hotel. Very basic. Get what you pay for. All-inclusive shocking. Food is terrible. Never seen so many flies land on food before. Not a big variety to pick from. Most food looks cooked. Not clearly signed as one couple was thinking they was eating mince and it was kidney. Drinks ok, only two per guest and you have to put your clothes on to be served. No pool bar open. The food perfect with loads to pick from. I can not fault this place in anyway and would definitely go back asap. I had a top time and was on my own they looked after me in every way sorting out my transport my washing and catered for any of my needs.

I have just spent a week at the Garcia and overall I did enjoy the majority of the experience. The location is absolutely stunning, incredible views, great scenery in every direction, amazing sunsets from the balconies. Getting to and from Oludeniz beach I didn't think was an issue at all. A taxi is about £4.50 each way and are available at a minutes notice night and day. Also the free shuttle bus from the hotel goes 3 times each morning as well. The food was mostly good. Loved the outdoor grill section at nights and the freshly made Omelettes in the morning were very good. Our room was very spacious, it felt modern and contemporary and I think cleaned every single day ! No issues at all with the room or cleanliness. Fresh sheets regularly, towels and shower gel and shampoo etc The reason I have marked it down from a 5 is mainly the Spa and Wellness facilities are not really where they need to be in terms of quality. The gym in particular is pretty woeful. The indoor jacuzzi was freezing cold. Also the hotel overall just feels like it needs a little bit of TLC here and there. It just feels a bit tired in some areas. Thay being said, we didn't pay what I would call 5 star prices either so really I would still call it good value and all things considered I probably would go back again, if the wellness facilities had a bit of an update. Another plus point is the staff, not amazing English language some of them but always helpful and friendly I really want to give it 5 stars but something is just holding me back. 4.5 stars if it was available definitely

Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay here. The views are breathtaking, staff is helpful and friendly. Evening entertainment is on point. Only downside is the pools were extremely cold and the food could be better. But overall enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back again

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms and great facilities. Not many staff spoke English well so was difficult communicating. Food was probably the best all inclusive I've had in Turkey and was plenty of options. Unfortunately the location lets this great hotel down, you're basically stuck off track, The shuttle bus service is poor with only a couple a day. they should maybe even consider a buggy taking people to and from the main road to catch the local bus. Unless you get taxis everyday you're a decent 30 min walk to the main road before you even get a bus to your location.

Loved our all inclusive holiday here. Staff were really friendly and the facilities were great. Food was lovely with 'live' cooking stations every evening. Entertainment was varied and the activities through the day were well organised. The prices for spa treatments are great value for money. Try to go on some of the trips available. The safari was superb and the evening sun set cruise. Thoroughly recommend this place.

The oldest hotel in the area but it has been upgraded to modern standards. Good location in front of port and small beach. 2 separate building with main one providing bar and restaurant. Rooms in rear building are nicked appointed but very compact. Friendly and helpful staff. Very decent self service restaurant with plenty of options at meal times. Pro Cristo not really place for 2 week holiday but ideal for long weekend break

This Hotel and Annexe is spotlessly clean. Can't fault the cleanliness or the location. The rooms on the front face straight out over the promenade and beach. Wonderful view . Our room in the annexe was really spotless unfortunately just a little on the small size. We had to put the suitcase on the table as there wasn't enough room around the bed or on the floor anywhere. We did have a balcony , very narrow , three floors up, overlooking the rear alleyway , where the dustbins and dumped sofas are. Don't let that put you off though. The hotel e mailed me for feed back , so I told them about my experience. They replied with an explanation . As I was travelling with my in laws , booked on the same flights and reservation , staying at the same hotel, in the same week , paid the same amount, but apparently there was no notification on the booking that we wanted rooms close together. So we were in the annexe and they were at the front with a balcony view ! The annexe rooms are cheaper on the website too. So the lesson to be learned is , let your booking make clear you want a sea view , or a balcony or not the annexe. The food is excellent, great choice , plenty too. Service excellent, polite friendly staff, plenty of seating , a games room but the pool is tiny. On the website it looks huge. I think the photo was taken by an Estate Agent . There is a small Gym , not everyone's choice I know and a small Spa. There are shops restaurants and bars nearby too. All in all I would recommend this Hotel , just remember what i said when you book.

Tiny bedrooms. Nowhere to store luggage - considered storing our 2 bags on the balcony, eventually stacked them against the bedroom door after we retired for the night, this created a fire hazard but we had no choice. Ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. Small pool. Our bedroom was in a building across the road behind the hotel, therefore no sea views. Positives. Service was good. Location is good - just beside the beach & near the restaurants I would not recommend this hotel

Asked politely if we could sit down for a drink (we’re staying down at the marina, not the hotel) and were rudely told to leave as we’re not hotel guests.. that’s fine! Just communicate it nicely and don’t say ‘leave goodbye’. Looks like a nice hotel otherwise

Fantastic location. Literally by the beach and all the amenities you need. 25 minute walk to the beautiful caves. The spa here is good. The masseuse is amazing and I highly recommend her. The food for breakfast and dinner is fine. The staff are very attentive

Very nice team, super close to the beach, nice big rooms with beautiful view, food is 5 out of 10, supermarket downstairs straight at the entrance. We did not try the pool, as the beach is 5 mins away, but looked clean, an lots of sun-beds. Overall it was a good experience

Stayed here for 14 nights from the 3.9.23 With my wife. it was excellent from start to finish all staff very friendly and helpful food was nice room was clean with excellent views. Pool was good size and clean would recommend this hotel as the price was excellent for 2 weeks all exclusive I could not stay in England anywhere for the same price with food and drink thanks for a great holiday will be returning next year 😀 👍

Firstly let me tell you all ignore all the horrible reviews, them people must be use to 5 star luxury. We stayed here from the 29th September for 1 week, we stayed on the 3rd floor, excellent clean modern room, cleaned every day we stayed B&B we had breakfast twice there as we like to venture out, I personally wouldn’t do all inclusive anywhere especially this hotel it’s not really for children either. Prefect for self catering or B&B. Pool area was clean, beautiful Sun trap!! Staff were always friendly and there if you needed anything. Super market , pharmacy all outside the hotel, very short work to the beach. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the fact you have to hire everything. Want an- iron €20 + deposit Fan - €24 + deposit All with a minimum rent of a week. Would I stay here again - yes I would All in all a lovely little budget hotel you wouldn’t get that anywhere in the uk what we payed! Thank you for a lovely stay

Location of this hotel is easy 5star. You can get transport to anywhere on the island from here. The hotel itself would get a 5star for the people running the show, so friendly helpful and understanding. I can go on but if you read this you will get the idea. So why only 5star it is tired and the cracks are beginning to show but if you want a good holiday you can see through that. And it is clean.

First things first we had an amazing apartment, but that’s as far as far as I can go with saying anything nice. Do not go all-inclusive so glad we didn’t .worlds smallest dinner hall with the bare minimum of food. We went half-board, and I will be in our every day, breakfast and dinner.. very built-up area. Lots of traffic and very hot in the rooms

The hotel is very well located and well maintained, with affordable pricing. I think the staff could do a little better in customer service: we asked for recommendations on what do do in the local area and didn't get much of a reply, we also were not told much when checking in. We had to miss the breakfast the last day due to early flights and asked if we could take some food with us and were told it wasn't possible. Not what you would expect from a 4 stars hotel. No one is expecting cooked breakfast early in the morning but a piece of local fruit collected the evening before would have left us with a good impression to very little price to the hotel. Overall a very good hotel but could do better with customer service.

Wonderful solid hotel with an amazing location for exploring the beach and the small town of Machico just below. Parking is free either on the street or in their own spots and the breakfast buffet is massive!! The rooms and decor are a little dated but everything was very comfy and clean still with amazing shower water pressure (a big plus for me!) For the price this was well worth my stay!

We enjoyed the delicious breakfast with fresh fruits and vegetables every day. The staff was always friendly and helped with all questions. There we're no Family rooms available but we got a special offer at the day of arrival to stay in 2 rooms next to each other with a connecting door inside. That was perfect for us and our two children. To our comfort the rooms contained a little fridge and a terrace to sit outside, too. Everything was clean and looked after. The location is fantastic to walk to the beach and in town. It's also close to Funchal. All destinations are good to reach with car or by bus.

Service was great as they did clean up the room every day without touching personal stuff. I would take one star off for the service as they charge additional €8 for Room Service, which I thought for a full star hotel was unacceptable, but everything else was great. Amazing day we had amazing great time.

Listed as a 4 stars but is not even 2 stars. Is an old style hotel, needing refurbishment, missing basic facilities. They have no heating system in the rooms, and when we asked for a heater, they said it's all being used, and the only thing they can offer is some extra blankets.

I've just had a fantastic 7 night stay at the Avanti. I'd like to thank Sergio in Guest Services who I had contact with in advance of my arrival with regards to the type of room I would like to meet my needs and the room exceeded my expectations, I even had a small area with a sofa which came in handy after a day at the parks to chill before heading back out. I had researched the hotel and area and I knew what would make me feel safe as a lone female traveller as it can be daunting being away from home in unfamiliar surroundings, safety is a priority for me and I can confirm I felt safe at this hotel. It's recently had a makeover and looks amazing, I hope guests respect it so it stays this way. All staff I encountered, check in, cafe, pool bar, maintenance and room service were lovely and friendly. I would 100 per cent stay here again as a lone traveller or with family and friends.

Honestly being someone who had stayed at many hotels across the country this was a very solid 5 day stay. Their pool is salt water and while here in 80 degree weather, the water was warm. My toddler enjoyed herself playing there and in the sand! The king suite itself was also solid. I think a good room for 2 adults and one or 2 children. They did have some tech issues with room keys but the staff did everything they could to accommodate us and I appreciated the service all the way around. When you’re spending so much on theme parks and restaurants, this hotel makes perfect sense and we really enjoyed our stay! Would come back! Get the suite tho!

However, the damage had been done, and the violation of trust had already taken its toll on my overall experience. While I acknowledge that unfortunate incidents can occur anywhere, the severity of this situation raises questions about the resort's security measures and staff screening processes. Guests should be cautious and take extra precautions with their valuables, especially in light of this incident. In conclusion, my stay at the Avanti International Resort was overshadowed by the distressing theft incident, and I feel it's crucial for potential guests to be aware of the potential risks associated with staying at this establishment. Until the resort addresses and rectifies the security concerns, I would advise exercising caution when considering a stay at the Avanti International Resort.

On November 29th, when the evening arrived with my family, I went to reception to make a new card because it was demagnetized. Every day, a card was downloaded. I went to speak to the receptionist and she was super rude and rude. Because my daughters were sleeping and had colds, I asked her to check my details and she was super ignorant. I went up 4 floors and returned to the counter. She informed me that she wasn't going to do it and that she was going to cancel my reservation due to the fact that I was “rude” when, upon being treated badly, I threw the cards that didn't work on the counter. With that, he put on a huge show, shouted, shouted, and cursed me until he made me mad. I asked him to cancel my reservation where I had been staying for more than a week, but to return the money. After a long time putting on a show and cursing and shouting at me, she decided to call the manager Maria, who asked the receptionist not to cancel my reservation but to make a new card. When making the new card, do you ask if the receptionist asked for documents? She said she wouldn't take any of my documents. I travel at least twice a month and this is the first time I have seen an attitude like this. I have complete lack of preparation, a rude, freaked out, crazy attendant who mistreats the guest. I have never felt so humiliated in my life. Besides, the cleaning of the rooms is disgusting and the room has cockroaches. Bad experience.

Good hotel, on International Drive, right near I-ride stop, Icon Park and various bars and restaurants. The room was clean and well equipped, the only downside was that it was very noisy (the air-con, fridge and a white box under the sink that sounded like a diesel engine also we were right by one of the car parks). The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was plentiful and available most of the time. Nice pool with man- made beaches also a hot tub.

The service is ridiculously delayed. Took 4 phone calls to get a hold of the front desk due to an infestation of bugs that looked like termites on the table.. on the night stand we saw tons of baby spiders.. when we asked for a new room the front desk had told us that they were unable to provide the room to us. Absolutely no one has attempted to rectify the situation. We flew in tonight.. I have videos of the hugs that I will update everyone with. All I've heard from the owners review responses is just apologies without action. I did not pay to have a vacation with personal and environmental safety violations. We were told they only had suites left and we'd have to pay extra to change the rooms. This has been an awful first experience.

Stayed here for 8 days recently. For the most part, I had a great time. My room was always clean, the food at the buffet was great and the staff were super friendly. The beach was unfortunately not great. The water was pretty dark, shallow and murky. Most people were using the pool but I have a bad reaction to pool water because of the chlorine, so I couldn't use it. The beaches are open to the public so I just walked over to the next resort and swam at their beach. Overall, I would stay here again. Some of the reviews make it out to be the worst place ever and people that write those reviews need to get a life.

If you have a choice to not pick this resort then I strongly recommend something else. It is a great deal and it’s cheap for a quick get away but, be prepared to be HOT because they’re a barely any ac. Be prepared to walk a lot because everything on the resort is a long walk even though they literally have golf carts and people that are supposed to take you around. 9 times out of 10 we never saw them around. The rooms and the resort overall is super out dated and there were much better options elsewhere that we wish we would’ve looked into. The food wasn’t really good not much flavor and make us sick pretty much every night. We had a good time with the excursions but the resort had nothing to it. I just recommend that you fully look into other resort options because we wish we would have. Love México though!

I’ve stayed here several times. I honestly do love the Luxor. I’ve stayed in the pyramid and the tower. The pyramid has shown some wear with wall paper peeling from the walls an what not. I’d say for cleanliness I’d give it a 4 out 5 in the pyramid. I’ve seen the shows and exhibits there and have enjoyed them. The good across the resort Is good. No complaints. Service is great and have gotten some really good prices to stay there.

I had a great time staying at the Luxor Hotel in Vegas! Check in was easy. The staff were great very friendly and accommodating! Driving in was a bit confusing once I figured out what to do, then it made sense. Michael in Valet was very helpful and did his best to explain how it works. I think it was me. I don't travel much. Kevin Johnson helped with my luggage. Very nice. Cloe helped check us out. Again very nice! Jeremy helped with all of our luggage when leaving. We had a lot of luggage!! Back to Michael in Valet. He was awesome!!! Michael remembered my name which made me feel very VIP. Which I'm just a regular person traveling. I will definitely come back to the Luxor when staying in Vegas. Oh!! The gym is good however please add more 10 pound and 15 pound weights. Not enough to go around. Its a busy gym for sure. Could have been cleaner. I did like the sanitizer wipes. I stayed at the Luxor and really enjoyed the experience. It was really awesome being inside the giant pyramid and seeing all the Egyptian architecture artifacts. I do wish that there was some better food options but the location is very convenient and the people that were in service of us were extremely polite. It made me enjoy the Las Vegas experience and I had no real complaints.

After a 3 night stay, I was finally getting the lay of the land. Maybe downloading the hotel map would have been helpful.

There were a couple of minor improvements that would have made a large positive impact on our first impression. The fan in the guestroom bathroom was caked in a build-up of dust and fuzz, and the drain stopper in the sink was broken. The picture on the TV was incredibly fuzzy, for what I can only assume was a cable or satellite stream. If these were corrected, it would have made a huge difference for us. Otherwise, the room was clean, bed and pillows soft, location fantastic, and amenities were as expected.

Though the rooms and bathroom were a little outdated, they were clean and welcoming. Food was a plenty in the buffets and the choice of restaurant's were fantastic…. Specially the pizzeria. Most of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The beach and view are out of this world. Unfortunately if you’re not Spanish or speak Spanish the entertainment is slightly disappointing. Loved the pool party and pool areas. The sellers on the stalls can be slightly overwhelming and become a nuisance after a while. But overall had an amazing time and would 100% recommend.

Not bad for a budget place. I get the sense the staff do all they can but it's clear there aren't enough resources and the place is old and in need of major maintenance and/or upgrades. Atmosphere is lively and fun, with good entertainment in the evenings. Food is good enough and my wife and I had an overall pleasant stay.

This was a great place to visit during the off season. Prices were great and the restaurants were good also. The buffet was decent but lacked some flavor. Kid friendly and the white sand beaches were the best. The excusions were priced pretty decently bit most had souvenir traps and pics from your excursion. But overall, the entertainment was great and the shows were good also.

This hotel is filthy. The food was disgusting. They overbook it with locals and they literally will push you in line. The check in process took over an hour, then the room wasn't ready so they made us come back at 3pm. We had to wait on another long line that didn't move 1 inch in half an hour. We had been traveling for over 12 hours at this point with a child and an elderly woman and we needed to settle into our rooms. They said it would take several more hours. We decided we were going to leave and check into the Jewel Palm Beach (highly recommend). The bathrooms at occidental were disgusting, the place is run down. There is nothing luxurious about it. Beach is beautiful but water is rough. If it seems too good to be true with the price, then it is. Spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere that has no bugs in the rooms and whose food won't make you sick.
