Really nice. Rooms clean, the cleaners come every two days. Towels and basic toiletry products provided. The food is beyond amazing, the staff is very polite and friendly. 5 minute walk from shops, 10 minute walk from the beach. I’ve been there for a week and i can proudly say it was amazing. Will definitely come back in the future.

If you go expecting a 5 star hotel you'll be disappointed, but if you go expecting a 3 star hotel that is good value for money that's what you'll find. The apartments are spacious, but well used. Everything worked fine, was very clean and had all that was needed when all inclusive (kettle, fridge etc) The grounds are well kept and all three pools were clean and well maintained. The food was average, a reasonable choice but never very hot. The vegetables were disappointing, and one day definitely just a bag of frozen veg. A good salad selection everyday. Always found something to eat. A bonus for me was soya milk available at breakfast. There is a water machine in the main restaurant that you can use to refill a bottle, but need one at bar and reception. The location is very peaceful with a good selection of restaurants a few minutes walk as is the beach. A few shops also a few minutes walk, so everything you need. Bus stop outside the hotel goes all the way to Los Cristianos and everywhere in between.
If you struggle with steps, then this isn't the hotel for you as it's spread across a hill.
Overall I was very happy with the hotel for the price paid and would definitely rerurn.

Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay at the Callao Garden (Ka lay ow garden)
Check in is from 4pm and check out is at 12pm. The reception staff were the nicest I have come across, nothing was too much trouble. We noticed that the mattress on the camp bed in the lounge was actually more comfortable than the single mattresses on our pushed together single beds in the bedroom, so we swapped it, and Jessica the receptionist kindly swapped the other one for us, so we had a comfortable nights sleep. Also they let us keep the wristbands and have lunch, drinks etc on the last day, after we had checked out at 12, as our transfer was later.
The food was fine. There wasn't a huge choice, so if you have dietary requirements, are excessively picky, or are vegetarian or vegan and would like options as opposed to having pasta with tomato sauce every night (and vegetables, salad, and the occasional delicious cauliflower fritter) I would suggest another hotel.
Breakfast is 07.30 - 10.00 Lunch is 13.00 - 15:00 and Dinner is 18.30 - 21.30
The pools open 10- 6pm. WiFi reception is not reliable in the room, but is pretty good near the bar, lower pool and in the reception area.
All rooms have balconies. Me and my husband were given a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 huge balconies! We didn't have a sea or pool view, we had a view of the plants outside our room, such as a poinsettia tree, and that was fine. The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove and pans/dishes/ cutlery etc, including a corkscrew. There was a flat screen TV in the living room. The room wasn't luxury and 5 star hotel-like, it had dated brown furniture, and slightly faded red curtains (they were blackout curtains in the bedrooms) but if you want 5 star, then pay for it. Apparently you have to pay for a remote for the TV too, but you can control the TV via the buttons. Only sky news is in English.
No aircon. There was a fan in the living room. We were not too hot ever in the room, and so didn't turn it on. There are 4 nice but not enormous pools. There is 1 bar, next to one of the pools, which also has an inside bit where there is entertainment in the evening. Which is good, as it gets quite cold at night.
The rooms are cleaned every two days and fresh towels put out. You can't flush your loo roll down the toilet (I think because it goes into the sea) so a lid on the bathroom bin would have been appreciated, and it being taken out every day ideally. However you can always perform your ablutions in one of the various toilets around the place, such as the ones in reception, or in the bar though. The bar serves alcohol from 10:30 to 23. San Miguel on tap was nice. The wine on tap was very poor, but the white was drinkable with a splash of tonic in it. The house spirits were poured very freely, (they were only 25% alcohol). They did a very nice g&t, and put a slice of lemon in if asked. You put down a 1 euro deposit for every reusable plastic glass you have, refunded when they are returned. We just kept ours all week and rinsed them. There were water coolers in the bar and restaurant. The tap water is drinkable, but doesn't taste the best.
The highest rooms are on the 2nd floor. I don't think many rooms are ground floor. I wouldn't stay here if I had mobility issues - there are lots of steps. It is built on a hill. The hotel also has a tennis court, squash court and mini golf too. There are pool tables and air hockey too, for 1 euro.
The only minor point of constructive feedback is that hotel towel hire is a bit steep at €10/week - you can buy one for €5 at the supermarket/ Chinese shop, which we did. They should just take a deposit, or it should be €5 per towel- we didn't need to buy any more towels. Also the variety of food could have been a bit bigger, but all I really missed was cheese at dinner- they have cheese available for breakfast and lunch, why not dinner? However these are really minor
points. For the price we paid, under £400 each for a 5 night holiday including flights and transfers you can't complain.

I stayed at Bluesea Callao Garden for two weeks and saw some things that could be better.
The hotel charged for all kids activities stuff, so families didn't have many options. The food wasn't good and didn't have much variety, so eating wasn't great. I saw a few cockroaches in the room, but I guess that's normal for the Canary Islands.
It would be nice if the hotel had more free things for kids to do. Right now, everything for kids activities costs money. Also, it was kinda funny to watch kids kick and shake the basketball machine to play for free. They didn't have much else to do.
It would be better if the hotel got a new table for table tennis because the current one is half broken. And it would be cool if they made the 8-ball pool free.
To sum up, fixing these things like the food, adding more free activities for kids, and making the games free would make it a lot better.
