Just arrived home after a week here. The holiday was everything we could have wished for and more! We will be returning
Rooms were a decent size
The hotel itself is absolutely spotless, with staff constantly cleaning.
The service was brilliant, the bar staff and the catering team were great.
There was always something going on throughout the day and the evening led by the entertainment team. The absolutely star of our stay was Irena!! She was an absolutely fantastic ball of energy that got everyone involved and put a smile on everyone's face.
Genuinely could not thank the hotel staff enough for the excellent treatment myself and my children received.. hope to see you all again soon.

Let’s start with the positives:
The food was genuinely good, tasty, varied, and well-prepared. The staff were also kind and helpful, doing their best to make guests feel welcome. And the view from the resort is truly stunning; it’s one of the highlights of the location.
Unfortunately, several things really disappointed us. First and foremost, hygiene standards were not up to par. For a resort of this level, we expected much better cleanliness, especially in the rooms and common areas.
The elevator situation was honestly terrible. There’s only one, and it’s small, slow, and unreliable. Reaching your room without waiting an eternity or climbing many stairs with kids or bags was a daily struggle.
What really made us feel misled, though, was the fact that during our stay, there was some sort of festival or large group event with many young people partying and drinking heavily. While we don’t mind people having fun, the atmosphere was very loud and clearly not child-friendly. If we had known that the hotel was going to be hosting such events, we never would have booked it as a young family.
I wish all the hard working people at this hotel the best, but I would never return even if it would be free (genuine feedback)

Having just returned from The Orka Sunlife hotel this holiday will definitely has its place in our memory book, we had such a lovely time and we will be returning in the future.
Food was excellent and catered for all especially my daughter (fussy eater), the all inclusive drinks were great.
Staff couldn't do enough for us friendly and polite.
The entertainerment staff were great, yes there wasn't much entertainment on and a couple of hiccups along the way I.e the competition draw that was suppose to be outside turned out to be inside.
It was start of the season so to be expected but we did do darts, archery and music competitions so wasn't that bad.
Yes the rooms are small but as we only slept in there because we was out and about everyday so didn't bother us at all.
The location was brilliant, the views were amazing.
Pool was abit chilly but once your in your fine, Slides were fun too.
Had a day out at the aquapark which was great aswell drinks and food abit pricey but your on holiday and the admission was free so again wasn't too fussed.
Overall an unforgettable holiday here and will 100% be returning.
Thankyou Orka Sunlife

We were booked for a 6 nights stay in a double standard room with all inclusive plus boarding. Our holiday was with Jet2Holidays and we arrived at the hotel around 1 o'clock in the morning. Because it was late, all we wanted was getting to bed and have a good night sleep.
Unfortunately this is the first and worst aspect of our holiday: very uncomfortable beds. Felt like sleeping on plywood with clean sheets. I'll keep it short by making a pros and cons list.
Cons:
•hard , uncomfortable beds. Even after putting some mattress toppers is barely comfortable. I needed two mattress toppers on my extendable sofa stacked on top of each other to make it somewhat comfortable.Solution: Owners to invest in new more comfortable mattresses if they dare claim the establishment to be a 5 star hotel.
•hot water in the bathroom in more warm than hot, and it takes around 1 0 minutes of running the tap until gets warm
Solution: Add a recirculation pump to keep it hot without wasting so much water to begin with.
•because the weather was a bit cold, outside pool water temperature was not very comfortable, but they also have a smallish/medium sized indoor pool with heated water which was fantastic on our first day, but as you might guess, they botched that good thing as well. Next days they turned off the heated water, because , and I quote "no need because it's warm outside" (it was only 23⁰-25⁰ C outside in the Sun) . After kindly asking if upon customer request the heated water can be turned back on I was given the reply" I will tell them, but they never listen" . I think he referred to the management by saying "them", and I think he was right in the end because even after I asked twice the reception staff to pass my request to the relevant management, pool was still cold🥶. At least they were always polite and reassuring, even if they were actually bullshi**** you. Solution: Give a damn about customer requests and customer satisfaction.
•hairdryer broken and ancient. After a "maintenance" member came to "control", he deemed it faulty and said that he'll take this one with him and buy and new one and bring it tomorrow. Bullshi**** us again, we were left without a hairdryer until next evening when I had to personally go and speak with a manager about the situation. A half an hour later we had the same kind of old hairdryer but fully functioning this time.Solution: Invest in replacing old equipment.
•pool towels. Our little girl had some ice-cream and we had to use the pool towel to wipe her clean, and my wife went to exchange the towels for clean ones instead, bearing in mind that towel service is between 09:00-17:00, at 15:20 the staff at the SPA told my wife that she's not allowed a replacement of clean towels, and only one clean towel per day is allowed. The staff gave her the cards for towels instead and told her to return tomorrow. I took matters again in my own hands and went to the reception to ask if indeed the hotel policy is as the staff previously related to my wife. Surprise, no such policy when asked the reception staff, and after telephoning the SPA , was told the clean towel replacements were waiting for me there.
•entertainment non-existent. Three animation team members that sing and dance a song in the morning like they had indigestion the night before and that's it. No games, no aerobics , no nothing... Maybe because the pool water is cold 🥶 🤷🏻....
Pros:
•clean, modern gym
• superb location and views of the mountains
•tasty food with a wide variety to choose from
•clean, modern public areas( I think they kept investing in the public areas and neglected the comfort of the rooms.)
•helpful, polite, attentive servers during meal times.
•sauna and Turkish bath area entrance free of charge
All in all, definitely more of a 3 stars hotel than a 5 stars.

Thought would post a review - please no horribleness as this is my honest personal experience that hardworking people should know prior to staying. Myself and family stayed a few weeks ago and originally was put in a standard room, view is of another building five feet away, holes in the wall.. was three adults and one of us slept on a yellow pull out, bedding was sticky and very damp. Do have videos. Got moved to another standard room, was the same. I would not stay again unless we had got the upgrade to the suite. I didn’t understand the good reviews until I seen the upgrade, the view there is amazing and huge rooms the first room we couldn’t fit our suitcases only enough floor space to open 1 suitcase. When you get an upgrade it’s a whole differently holiday - hence the good reviews. Different pool, different bar they even give you a different wrist band. The reason we got upgraded was because we said we were going home, the room being a lot worse than a holiday inn. Apologises to anyone going on holiday soon but hand on heart it is not worth unless you get the upgrade, and it’s very saddening to do this to people when they have saved up for a holiday. When asking for new bedding the staff would laugh shaking their head our rep had to say no this is wrong the conditions were very poor and when you get upgraded it is a different holiday we ended up having a lovely time and tried to forget the whole first experience. Food is nice. Surrounding area was lovely.
