We had such a wonderful evening at AOC, dining under the stars with a stunning night view of the Dubai Eye in the background. The ambiance was calm, elegant, and perfect for catching up with friends — softly lit trees, a gentle breeze, and a beautifully arranged outdoor setup that felt both cozy and sophisticated. The buffet had a good variety — fresh sushi (our favorite!), flavorful mains, and refreshing drinks that completed the experience. The staff were attentive and warm, making sure our table was always taken care of. Special mention to the outdoor seating — it’s definitely worth it for the view and atmosphere. Highly recommend coming here for a relaxed dinner or a quiet evening with good company. Thanks to Aasem , Linggar and Riya for making the night even more enjoyable. ✨

This is our second time staying here, and once again, everything was simply wonderful. The room is clean, cozy, and perfectly maintained, just as we remembered it. We’d also like to sincerely thank and praise to Ghana, the person who takes care of the cleaning: he did an excellent job, being very precise and attentive. Our stay was great. The location is perfect to discover the Dubai Marina and beach area. Madhu (housekeeping) did a great job with cleaning the room. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The good location has also a disadvantage; the traffic. It is very difficult to find a uber/taxi who wants to drive you from or to the marina because of the traffic. I would recommend to take the tram and metro because you safe a lot of time. Breakfast was also great and delicious.

We stayed at Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach for 15 days and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — right on The Walk, close to the beach and Dubai Marina, with plenty of restaurants and nice bars around. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered a lovely sea view. The staff were wonderful — especially Rohahana at the reception, who was always kind and helpful, as well as the housekeeping and concierge teams, who were attentive and polite throughout our stay. However, there were several downsides. The balcony door was difficult to close properly, which affected the air conditioning and made the room quite warm and humid for a few days. The pool area was pleasant but lacked enough sunbeds during busy hours. We were also disappointed with the food — despite the hotel’s five-star rating, the buffet was not truly international. About half of it consisted of salads and desserts, while most main dishes were Indian-style curries with strong, unfamiliar spices and aromas, making them hard to enjoy. There were great baguettes, but the cheese tasted oddly sweet, and although we had half board, we didn’t go to breakfast at all. We arrived around midnight and missed dinner, but unfortunately, the hotel did not offer any food option at that time, so we had to eat outside. It would be great if the hotel offered a small afternoon or late-night snack option for guests who arrive late or sleep in, as everyone has a different vacation rhythm. Another issue was privacy: even when we placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign, the housekeeping staff unlocked the door to check if we were inside. After that, we started locking the door, but then the reception called to check on us, which felt intrusive. Despite these issues, the staff remained kind and professional, and we truly appreciated their warm attitude. Overall, Sofitel Jumeirah Beach is a beautiful hotel with an excellent location and great people, but the dining variety, room maintenance, and privacy handling could be improved to fully match its five-star reputation.

I had a wonderful stay at this establishment.The location of the hotel is in the heart of JBR and everything about the hotel seems modern and newly renovated. The breakfast was also something to try and I definitely would add it as an option. One thing however is the pool area which isn't very kid friendly and the bar at the pool sort of limits how much freedom you can give your children at the pool. Apart from that the hotel experience was amazing including the service at the reception and the room service. Definitely check it out.
