We had an amazing stay at JA Beach Hotel😍The facilities are excellent, the surroundings are beautiful, and the overall atmosphere made our stay truly relaxing and enjoyable.
A special thank you to Ms. Lujain ❤️💐 at the reception for her outstanding support and kindness. She generously extended our checkout time until 2 PM, which allowed us to fully enjoy more of the hotel’s facilities and wonderful attractions without feeling rushed. Her professionalism and warm attitude made a big difference in our experience.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay. We will definitely come back🫶🏻❤️

I booked a room at JA Beach Hotel because it offered a splash area for children, beach walks, good facilities, and the convenience of being in Dubai. While we were welcomed warmly by the concierge, the experience at the reception immediately took a negative turn. The lady assisting us had an attitude that was unnecessarily dismissive.
When we asked about early check-in and late checkout, we were told it was not guaranteed and that the hotel was “fully booked,” followed by a surprising claim that early check-in typically costs 400 AED... something I’ve never encountered before. When we requested more clarity about the hotel’s facilities and locations, we were simply told to “check the paper,” which felt unhelpful and abrupt.
Upon reaching our room, we found an unappealing view and waited over 15 minutes for our bags. When we went back to reception, another staff member, much more helpful, assisted us with a room change. We also requested a baby crib; the staff member delivering it left before we could let him in and did not return. Later, while we were out, housekeeping entered the room to set up the crib without informing us. Although the gesture was helpful, I would have preferred to know, especially since our belongings were scattered around and the “Do Not Disturb” sign was not in the room before we left.
We visited the kids’ pool, where the staff were friendly and welcoming. Lunch at Captain’s Restaurant was enjoyable in terms of food quality, though the coffee needs improvement. The hotel itself felt very quiet with noticeably few guests, making the earlier claim of being “fully booked” even more questionable.
At night, we noticed that the complimentary water only comes in large glass bottles, and the fridge barely fits one. I called reception requesting smaller bottles and was told they only provide the large ones. I then asked for chilled water and was told that chilled water is not provided either. The receptionist instead offered a bucket of ice, which a nice gesture, but it was not sufficient because it takes a long time to chill such large bottles. It felt strange that a hotel of this level does not provide chilled water or smaller bottles.
Breakfast the next day at Ibn Majed was fine, and the staff were particularly kind and attentive, especially toward our 8-month-old son. After breakfast, we walked around the hotel, visited the stables to see the horses, and then headed to the mini zoo where we saw goats, rabbits, peacocks, and other birds. It was a pleasant change of scenery and very entertaining for our son.
Overall, the hotel offers many facilities and some genuinely pleasant experiences, but several issues significantly affected our stay, especially the attitude of certain reception staff, the misleading “fully booked” claim, and unusual service gaps like the lack of chilled or small water bottles. These factors left us disappointed despite the otherwise enjoyable amenities.

Our recent weekend stay at JA Beach Hotel Dubai was absolutely magnificent. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and from the moment we arrived, everything was handled with exceptional care and attention.
A special thank-you to Lujain, Umar, and Aurea for arranging a wonderful surprise in our room. Their thoughtful gesture made my wife’s celebration truly unforgettable and added a personal touch that we deeply appreciated.
The hotel offers a wealth of activities that made our stay both fun and relaxing. We enjoyed the water splash area, football games, and the variety of pools and beaches, all beautifully maintained and ideal for families. The mini zoo was another highlight a charming experience for both children and adults alike.
The Sports Café was a great spot to unwind, offering badminton, squash, and table tennis, along with big screens to enjoy live football matches in a lively atmosphere.
Our dinner at Sette was the perfect way to end the day the food, ambiance, and service were all fabulous. Every detail contributed to an exceptional dining experience.
All in all, JA Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of great hospitality, engaging activities, and beautiful surroundings made for an unforgettable weekend. We can’t wait to return!

Having travelled extensively across the world and stayed at countless hotels, I’ve never left such reviews, but my initial experience at JA Beach Hotel deeply disappointed me, and I believe management would genuinely benefit from reading Will Guidara’s Unreasonable Hospitality. There is a clear difference between following policy and treating people with compassion, and unfortunately, that distinction seems to be missing here.
The resort grounds are beautiful, but hospitality is more than scenery. From the moment I arrived, I noticed inconsistency in how guests were treated. Outside, the staff that greeted you when you arrive were wonderful - warm, courteous, and helpful. Unfortunately, that level of hospitality did not continue inside, where some guests received a welcome drink and a cold towel, while others, including myself, were given nothing. No greeting drink, no offer of water or coffee, no sense of being looked after a long journey.
After a 30-hour trip and two sleepless nights, I politely asked if early check-in was possible. It was around 11am, and I was told a room was available, but I’d have to pay over $100 USD to check in early because policy states check-in begins at 3pm.
Every hotel has policies.Very few enforce them without empathy.
In all my years of travel throughout Asia, Europe, and North America, I’ve never been told “pay or wait”, especially when staying multiple nights.
For a hotel at this price point, the lack of compassion and unwillingness to go even slightly above the bare minimum is surprising. No offer of a coffee voucher or a drink while you wait! Guests remember how they are treated far more than anything and when staff go the extra mile, customers are far more willing to return, recommend, and overlook minor issues.
Sadly, this was not my experience here at the outset. Let’s hope the rest of the trip is better!

Our stay at the hotel was overall a wonderful experience. The check in process was exceptionally smooth and luxurious. We were warmly welcomed and directed to the Peacock Lounge, Rohan offered coffee while he finalized our check in. He kindly offered us a room upgrade with a beautiful sea view and took the time to explain the different restaurant and pool options available at the resort.
The only small detail we wish we had known in advance was that most restaurants require prior booking, which would have helped us plan our meals better.
Our room was good size, comfortable, and had an amazing view. However, it would have been more convenient if an ironing board was available in the room.
When it comes to the pools, they were absolutely perfect clean, well maintained, and suitable for all ages. Our kids especially loved trying out the different pools and had a great time at the amazing splash park.
The only disappointment was the kids’ club, which closes at 6 PM. We found this quite early, as our children didn’t get a chance to experience it after daytime activities.
The hotel also features a small zoo and horse riding experience, which we unfortunately didn’t have time to try, another reason why I would highly recommend staying at least two nights to fully enjoy everything the resort offers.
Overall, it was a luxurious and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely consider returning.
