We recently stayed at JA Beach Hotel in Jebel Ali, and while there was an unexpected situation during our stay, we truly appreciate how the team handled everything.
A special thank you to Sophia from Reservations, Omar at Reception, and especially Mr. Murad, the Hotel Manager, for their professionalism and calm support. They managed the situation with care and sincerity, which made a big difference for us.
Also, thank you to Vishnu and Ankit at Captains Bar for their warm service — they really made our evenings enjoyable. And to Edmar from Housekeeping, thank you for assisting us with the lost and found so efficiently.
Not every stay is perfect, but what matters is how a hotel responds — and this team did it beautifully. In the end, they turned things around and made our stay truly worthwhile.
We will definitely be back. ✨

This place is closer to a three-star than a four-star resort.
It’s a decent hotel with nice scenery and well-kept grounds.
However, the staff needs a lot of training in handling guests, communicating clearly and resolving problems.
They often stick to scripts and struggle to understand requests or complaints.
We experienced two nights of no hot water in 2 different rooms. The first time an engineer checked, it was already midnight and the staff didn’t make any effort to swap rooms until we asked. The second room also had the same issue, and we had to go through the same process.
Communication within the staff is completely lacking.
Finally, we called the manager, who was simply watching the situation until I had to escalate. He then spent 30 minutes trying to justify that the water takes five minutes to heat up (it was instant before it stopped and was still hot but clearing).
A well-trained staff and a four-star hotel would have seen the problem and resolved it within five minutes, not two days.
Save your money and go to a better resort or hotel closer to the centre.

We had an excellent stay at JA Beac Hotel Dubai.
Everything was to the perfection from the welcome to the rooms with amazing views and top class service.
Resort is like a city itself with amazing facilities and activities and much more fun for kids.
We celebrated birthday for our little one and they gave us complimentary room upgrades and cakes and baloons.
What makes the stay truly special is their amazing staff who are always ready to help you with anything anytime.
They have free buggy service as well to go around or to any facilities as well.
Breakfast at Ibn Majid was delicious.
10/10 experience

I booked a room at JA Beach Hotel because it offered a splash area for children, beach walks, good facilities, and the convenience of being in Dubai. While we were welcomed warmly by the concierge, the experience at the reception immediately took a negative turn. The lady assisting us had an attitude that was unnecessarily dismissive.
When we asked about early check-in and late checkout, we were told it was not guaranteed and that the hotel was “fully booked,” followed by a surprising claim that early check-in typically costs 400 AED... something I’ve never encountered before. When we requested more clarity about the hotel’s facilities and locations, we were simply told to “check the paper,” which felt unhelpful and abrupt.
Upon reaching our room, we found an unappealing view and waited over 15 minutes for our bags. When we went back to reception, another staff member, much more helpful, assisted us with a room change. We also requested a baby crib; the staff member delivering it left before we could let him in and did not return. Later, while we were out, housekeeping entered the room to set up the crib without informing us. Although the gesture was helpful, I would have preferred to know, especially since our belongings were scattered around and the “Do Not Disturb” sign was not in the room before we left.
We visited the kids’ pool, where the staff were friendly and welcoming. Lunch at Captain’s Restaurant was enjoyable in terms of food quality, though the coffee needs improvement. The hotel itself felt very quiet with noticeably few guests, making the earlier claim of being “fully booked” even more questionable.
At night, we noticed that the complimentary water only comes in large glass bottles, and the fridge barely fits one. I called reception requesting smaller bottles and was told they only provide the large ones. I then asked for chilled water and was told that chilled water is not provided either. The receptionist instead offered a bucket of ice, which a nice gesture, but it was not sufficient because it takes a long time to chill such large bottles. It felt strange that a hotel of this level does not provide chilled water or smaller bottles.
Breakfast the next day at Ibn Majed was fine, and the staff were particularly kind and attentive, especially toward our 8-month-old son. After breakfast, we walked around the hotel, visited the stables to see the horses, and then headed to the mini zoo where we saw goats, rabbits, peacocks, and other birds. It was a pleasant change of scenery and very entertaining for our son.
Overall, the hotel offers many facilities and some genuinely pleasant experiences, but several issues significantly affected our stay, especially the attitude of certain reception staff, the misleading “fully booked” claim, and unusual service gaps like the lack of chilled or small water bottles. These factors left us disappointed despite the otherwise enjoyable amenities.

Our stay at the hotel was overall a wonderful experience. The check in process was exceptionally smooth and luxurious. We were warmly welcomed and directed to the Peacock Lounge, Rohan offered coffee while he finalized our check in. He kindly offered us a room upgrade with a beautiful sea view and took the time to explain the different restaurant and pool options available at the resort.
The only small detail we wish we had known in advance was that most restaurants require prior booking, which would have helped us plan our meals better.
Our room was good size, comfortable, and had an amazing view. However, it would have been more convenient if an ironing board was available in the room.
When it comes to the pools, they were absolutely perfect clean, well maintained, and suitable for all ages. Our kids especially loved trying out the different pools and had a great time at the amazing splash park.
The only disappointment was the kids’ club, which closes at 6 PM. We found this quite early, as our children didn’t get a chance to experience it after daytime activities.
The hotel also features a small zoo and horse riding experience, which we unfortunately didn’t have time to try, another reason why I would highly recommend staying at least two nights to fully enjoy everything the resort offers.
Overall, it was a luxurious and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely consider returning.
