If staying in the Old Town this is just 2 streets up from Vincent's and a major supermarket - absolutely great for amenities. Refuel was just right at the bottom of the hill so again superb to what we wanted. Food though was extremely repetitive and the dining area was so so noisy with the local guests. If you want a good base but willing to eat out this is a great place to stay

Room very spacious, air con very good although it's €10 per day. Pool area nice, again sunbeds were €1.50 per day. Bar area down steps from pool, so not great for people with mobility issues. Access to pool not good if poor mobility. Pool is shared with another hotel, but plenty of space. Not ideal for families lots of stags and hens. Bar lady is lovely. Good prices for food and drinks.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Check in was busy but not a problem. Our room was ready before time. Lovely helpful lady on reception, and dealt with others checking out - all polite and friendly. £50 deposit per person which we knew about beforehand, no charge for sunbeds as it was early season. The room was spacious, smelt so clean and was very clean. Towels changed once and bins emptied for a 5 day stay. Lots of things in the apartment to cook, and store foods. TV (didn't use!) Chairs and table on the balcony, all clean too. Bins on the road near our room (first floor) get emptied at 3.15am, so if you're not a partygoer you'd hear it ! No bother or noise from other groups overnight, stayed Sun to Fri. Used the cafe attached, lovely pizzas! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here a few weeks ago, the hotel is decent overall. However the check in service was shocking. We arrived at Saturday 9pm, spent 2 hours trying to access keys to our room through unhelpful receptionist and also not being sent instructions to request a code for our key collection for late check ins. Genuinely thought we were going to be stranded on the street for the night so we booked a room in another hotel after trying to contact the provider directly and the number ringing out. They finally responded hours after we initially tried to check in.

Just got back from 7 day hoilday and was not disappointed. Great apartment very spacious with good views from the balconyand the front door corridorat the back, we did well for self catering but was out most of the time. Pool is bigger than the photos and plenty of space to get a bed €1.50 ( only negative is they don't have a sit up option ). We did have to pay €200 euros deposit for the apartment was fully aware before we arrived and once they checked before departure got it back. Staff were great when needed. Literally 5min or less walk to the strip around 15/20 mins to the beach. Plenty of places around to eat and drink. Looking at going back next year.

Had 10 days here, retuned yesterday. On the whole it was fine, wish we knew €50 was cash only, either £ or €. The air con was pathetic, only covered our small foyer, not the bedroom or lounge where we needed it. The beds eere comfy and the balcony was s great size. There was plenty of storage space and the kitchen was ample. However, there was plaster missing on the walls, the bathroom haf no assistance aids when climbing out of the bath, a huge trip hazard for all of us (& we are all mobile), they only changed our bedding and towels once in 10 days, when we asked for more towels we were told the cleaner only had enough for the rooms she was servicing. It felt dirty and down trodden. The staff however were EXTREMELY helpful with any queries we had. But would not be returning.

Where to start? We'll go with the positives, the staff on reception and the food areas are great, the bar staff in the most part are lovely too. Secondly, the beer on tap is Amstel and it goes down very well. Ok, now for the negatives, we've been here for nearly a week and our bedding hasn't been changed once which I think is pretty poor. However the towels have been changed pretty much every day! The floor has been mopped but I'm pretty sure they used the mop to clean the toilet seat too as there was water and sand on it. The food, it's edible if you like a certain level of crud. Kind of disappointed for a 4 star place. Think for the rest of our stay we'll be eating out. As for the actual room we had a standard family and it's not bad, the beds are 2 doubles shoved together, actually they might been queen's and they're pretty comfortable id you like a hard mattress. The balcony is a nice size with a table and 2 chairs and a small drying rack on. I liked the shower but if you want privacy no chance as there's no lock on the door. For the price we paid for a week I expected a lot better and all things considered I wouldn't recommend this place and won't be coming back. I'm sure there's better options in Benidorm for a similar price, choose them.

This Hotel is absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Rooms are kept spotless and the kids pool area is ideal. Bear in mind it's only kids that can use the chutes and slides. The restaurant is a very high standard they try and change the menu daily having different themes. The amount of choice you get is outstanding, there is something for literally everyone. The food hall is extremely hygienic everything is perfectly cooked and as it should be in four star hotel. The staff in the restaurant are excellent and very friendly and helpfull. Don't listen to the rubbish some people post about this hotel. This hotel has a large number of Spanish people holidaying there so that should tell you how good it is. Top marks. Next time in Benidorm this would be my first choice...👍⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hotel Review – Honest and Detailed (7-night stay in July) ✨ First Impressions We arrived late, around 10 PM, quite tired from the trip. In previous experiences with similar hotels, we’ve been offered some sort of light meal or snack upon late arrival — even if it wasn’t a full buffet. Unfortunately, at this hotel, no food was offered or available after 10 PM. Tip: If you're arriving late, plan to eat at the airport or beforehand. 🛏️ The Room The room was spacious and comfortably fit the four of us. Two large beds (probably queen or king size), a small balcony where you can hang pool towels, and decent overall space. However, cleanliness was a major issue. There were visible clumps of black hair on the bathroom floor upon arrival, which made me feel uncomfortable enough to wear flip-flops in the shower. The floor is a gray tone that easily hides dust, but hair was impossible to miss — and unfortunately, this issue persisted during our stay. 😴 Sleep Quality The beds were excellent. The mattresses felt new and very supportive. Pillows were also very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. We had quiet nights and good sleep overall. 🥤 All-Inclusive Experience We booked the all-inclusive option, but it's important to note: you don’t have access to bottled water. Water is only available from self-serve machines during meal times or from soda fountains at the bar. The minibar in the room is extremely small — it doesn’t even fit a 1-liter bottle. Tip: Bring a refillable bottle and stock it with water whenever possible (specially during night time). 🍽️ Food Breakfast was fair for the price. Some items were of lower quality — especially the cold cuts like ham, which didn’t meet our expectations (more of a processed “spam” style). The buffet throughout the week heavily featured pork and fish, with very little beef (only once, during Monday lunch). Chicken was served occasionally. If you follow a high-protein diet or avoid certain meats, bring protein bars or whey powder. There’s a lot of fried food — sausages, onion rings, pizza, pasta with sauces and lots of pork. 🍉 Pool Area & Snacks The pool area snacks included lots of fruit and... a lot of fried options again. 🏊‍♂️ Pools & Activities There are two free pools — one for kids (ages 3 to 12 only) and one for adults. The kids’ area worked well; my son enjoyed it, and there were no long lines for the slides. However, the adult pool is too small for the size of the hotel and always crowded. There is a third pool available, but you have to pay extra to use it. ⚠️ Two Main Issues In my honest opinion, the two biggest downsides of this hotel were: 1. Cleanliness – Not just in the rooms (hair on the floor daily), but also in the dining areas. If you don't arrive at the start of the meal times, you'll find dirty tables, lack of cutlery, and long waits. For example, we had to wait 19 minutes to be seated for breakfast and had to set the table ourselves. 2. Elevators – There are 14 floors and 5 elevators, none of which are ventilated. They don't detect capacity, so they stop on every floor even when full. We stayed on the 13th floor and often waited 10+ minutes for an elevator, only to be squeezed in with no airflow. It’s an issue everyone seemed to notice and complain about. --- 📝 Final Thoughts This hotel has strong points: comfy beds, good location, and kid-friendly pools. But the lack of cleanliness and organization in key areas like food service and elevators seriously impact the experience — especially during high season. If you're planning to stay here, come prepared: bring health snacks, refillable bottles, and a bit of patience — especially for the elevators. Would I return? Possibly, but with adjusted expectations. Why did I give 5 stars? Because for the price it is a five stars service.

The hotel was just great. All the staff professional and very kind. Room was clean and when I had an issue with safe box at the beginning, I called the reception and it was resolved in no time. Pool for the kids was great, we had so much fun playing. Gaming room opened till midnight was also something we enjoyed. Entertainment was amazing. Animators were very kind and happy. I really liked the hours for breakfast 7-10 and dinner was late 20-22 which is super convenient when you want to go out after lunch, you’re never late for the dinner! The entertainment in the evening was also fun. Personally food for me was fine, it was tasty and if you’re a gym freak you can deffo gain because you can eat clean if you wish. The gym might be upgraded with some other cable machines instead of so many bikes but that’s again very personal and it does not affect my opinion about the hotel, as you are able to do a good workout if need be. I was on 13th floor but rarely experienced trouble with the elevator, most of the times it was like 1min wait. Strongly recommended ❤️

We have stayed here 4 times now and have booked our second time staying at christmas, the staff are absolutely amazing! The facilities for children are brilliant, entertainment, arcades, slides and an indoor heated pool if you travel in the colder months. It basically caters for all. The food is amazing, drinks prices really reasonable. It also has a little supermarket on site to get your essentials. Apartments are so clean, the whole complex is spotless, really spacious rooms and gorgeous views over the pool (you have to pay a little extra for it) but worth it. Absolutely amazing place to stay and cannot wait to be back again!

Very low cost but cheerful place. Rooms are spotless, decor is a little dated. Staff are all helpful. It was a good location for us, well away from Benidorm centre but easy for long walk , beware the hill is big on the return, and taxi if very late back from shows.

Excellently appointed apartments that are just a 10 minute walk from old town. Based on a steep hill, a taxi ride into Old Town is just €6, €10 to new town. Pool facilities are great for families, breakfast basic but adequate and bar facilities are good . WiFi throughout the complex. A very enjoyable stay and would certainly stay there in future.

Overall really good . Second visit and I'll probably go again. Staff rally helpful and friendly entertainment staff are brilliant. Wife didn't enjoy the food but me and the kids loved it . The choice of food is good and changes daily . Good choice of drinks. The snack bars have a decent selection the pizzas are beautiful. I was getting up early for a sunbed but there was plenty of room . Supermarket over the road for anything extra you fancy and a shop that looks like a garden center is good for the sunbed toppers and fridge magnets. It definitely value for money

First time in Spain and I was frankly disappointed. The staff were very ignorant towards my near two year old boy and made us feel unwelcome because of being English. The kids club staff had totally left my son out in the activities at the kids disco and no one acknowledged him again being English a majority were of course Spanish/ French. Completely ignorant towards him. Not only this but the room we got was not child included which we requested cot etc prior to booking. Due to this after asking them to sort it my son had to sleep in the double bed for 11 nights, causing me constant worry. We were not welcomed there at all and is very little information up about daily activities and night entertainment. The resort of the aqua park a pools my child loved so I couldn’t fault this. But had no refreshments in room such as tea coffee etc. We were all inclusive so meals were included but we’re down for breakfast an then lunch an had some mouldy food, a not much selection for kids apart from soup nuggets and cod croquettes. We had to go an buy food for my child to eat that wouldn’t cause him any illnesses. It could be better for other customers we just unfortunately had a negative experience which we will not be visiting again. Hopefully it is better and the dream holiday for others, but it wasn’t for us.

Amazing holiday! It was my first time abroad and what a lovely place to visit. One of the most special parts of my stay at Albir Garden and Resort was meeting Kiko, a kind, welcoming bartender who made the whole experience ten times more enjoyable, by the end of the week, i didn’t even need to ask him what I wanted to drink, he just got to pouring. Seeing his smile light up as i walked towards the bar made my whole evening every night. 10/10 first holiday, would recommend Albir Garden and Resort. Would definitely recommend Kiko for his amazing service!!

We booked through Jet2 holidays for our annual family holiday, and paid £4.6k for the 3 of us in the party (2 adults & a 6yr old) between 2/7/2025-16/7/2025 Outside entertainment area- Unsafe! A number of broken and sharp tile edges all over the area, we watched a guest walk down the steps and the tiles give way and fall and injure himself. Room- We stayed in RM L306, the rooms are dated and had an attempt at a cheap make over, all other reviews either on here or on the dedicated facebook group defending the rooms as the hotel only a 3 star, well so is a Premier Inn/Travelodge and they beat this place hands down, Air con unit dirty that's never been cleaned, the patio door frame was rotten as per the pictures, balcony railings in need of painting as wearing off down to bare metal flaking paint on the inside balcony doors, slats on the shutters damaged, you can see were works have been done to move sockets etc and not plastered well, built in cupboard has insuffent shelving in it, making it almost usless to use. Bathroom- broken floor tiles and you can feel them starting to lift as you walk near the shower, also the shower tray is a strange lay out, with an angle down to 1 side before sloping down to the plug hole, this makes it slippy and beware when using it as we nearly slid on it as few times once you get used to it by placing your foot against the side that slopes down to stop you slipping, If you have small children or have mobilty issues take this into account as you'll hit your head on tiles or a glass shower screen if you slip, Ideally should be a level shower tray and a shower mat provided, toliet had also been leaking for a while as stains all over the floor/skirting, Beds were fine, however when checking for cockroaches in the room turned one of the beds over and the lining on the base was all ripped. The main door into L3 was badly damaged due to cleaners ramming their trollies against it, also the door lock access is mounted too high up stopping children being able to use it if they need to get something out the room, Walking around the complex noticed that a number of the balcony's on the ground floor had damage to them with missing corners due to concrete falling off. Cockroaches- we always slept with windows closed wife woke up in the middle of the night with one crawling over her when checking out that morning (16/7) we reported it and apparently we should have called in the middle of the night to send a security guard up to spray the room, not something that was disclosed to us when checking in and not sure I want to be in a room covered in bug spray given it you should ventilate the room when using bug spray! also had silver fish crawling over my son's bed on the same morning, Ideally these blocks need the rooms stripping back to bare walls and redoing, the rooms and blocks are showing their age 30-40yrs and get rid of the brown tiles that's prevelant everwhere from the entertainment area to the room balconies. Overall other than the restuarant and the main bar area inside, the hotel is dated, and in some areas unsafe the outside bars don't blend into the hotel and look like a hasty throw up to keep the hotel matching it's competitors. Hotel offered no assistance to our child when his much loved teddy was removed from the room by the cleaners either by accident or on purpose shouted at by reception staff &told if our son leaves his teddy onthe bed expect it to go missing! The hotel is on a life support machine kept alive by some amazing and dedicated staff but sadly let down by it's dated appearance/feel and some totally disgusting members of staff that either need retraining in 21st century customer experience techniques as a matter of urgency or shown the door especially when they are distraught children just wanting their much loved teddy back. Would we come back- No A due to experience B, we like to visit different places,

When I tell you I was terrified to stay here after reading the reviews. But straight from the get go, we had the most amazing experience. I went with my mum and 2 young sons for 5 days. Our rooms weren’t ready when we arrived, so we left our luggage in the luggage room and went down to the pool for some food whilst we waited. We paid €200 in cash and got this back at the end of our stay within 10 minutes with no problems. The rooms were spotless and smelt amazing and fresh. The views were spectacular and it was surprisingly quiet. The pool in the sister hotel was always spotless and even tho my children were the only kids around, we felt welcomed every day. We didn’t use the shuttle service as the hill isn’t so bad but we did get a taxi back up a couple nights and this cost us 4-6 euros. 100% will be staying again! Thank you

After reading the reviews we were a little unsure but our experience couldn't be any better. Brilliant 2 bedroom apartment with the panoramic view over Benidorm. We always opt for self-catering as it suits us perfectly. Everywhere was clean and in great condition. Very large balcony. Cannot fault it. The only downside is the lifts take a while when you are on a high floor number but it is to be expected. We liked it enough to book again later this year. It's a little further out of the main town, but this meant it was quieter than the other hotels in the center. Brilliant!

Ridiculous hotel. On arrival we were told that we had to leave a £200 deposit (we had no knowledge of this prior). We were met by a rude receptionist that clearly didn’t want to be there. No maids come throughout the holiday, you have to wash your own bedding, they do not replace towels or toilet roll. You are expected to do this yourself. If the bins aren’t emptied when you leave you don’t get your deposit back. We left last Tuesday and I am still yet to receive my deposit back. I have rang the hotel numerous times and they keep saying that they will send me an email with regards operations numbers but they still haven’t. They said that I need to contact the bank regarding the situation but the bank says they cannot do anything as the transaction is still “pending” and that I need to contact the hotel. I am getting sent back and forth between the 2. I have never known anything like this it’s a joke. Book somewhere else and avoid the hassle

The shop is fantastic, and the staff super helpful. The rooms are big, plenty of space for clothes, and a really huge variety of food in the morning. The pool is not too packed- check out the smaller pool too… I will be back!! Louis in the shop is kind, and really good value compared to the strip. See you all soon!

Not sure what all these negative reviews are for, we stayed here as a group of 10 friends on a drinking holiday. It is around a 6€ ride away from the strip. Rooms were clean and towels provided. Only thing we had an issue with was the lifts, we were on the 24th floor and the lifts look a long time as there was only 3 lifts for the 34 floors. The deposit is 200€ per room and we got it back within 15 mins of checkout. All you have to do is make sure all rubbish is out of your room and the place is clean and tidy. Although we did pay cash after reading previous reviews stating they had issues with bank transfer so not sure on ETA for that. Bar staff at the pool were lovely especially the man, he was constantly having a laugh with us all. I would 100% go back here if I was to go drinking however, wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families as there were a lot of drinking groups there so could sometimes be loud around the pool.

Went for a 10-day holiday with the wife and youngest daughter to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Really enjoyed our stay. Food was varied enough to be enjoyed by everyone, i.e soup for starters, chips/pizza, meat dishes, fish or pasta for mains followed by a variety of sweet dishes. Location was perfect for the bus and/or a pleasant walk to the beach. The pool was 'just right', but if it had been a little bigger, it would have been appreciated.

Disappointing Stay – Needs Serious Improvement Stayed at Park Prince Hotel and wouldn’t return. The place is very outdated — rooms are old-fashioned and the strange green bedding didn’t help. Food was awful; 10 of us were unwell for most of the trip due to poor quality and hygiene. On the last day, we were forced to check out at 11am despite a late flight, and weren’t allowed to use any facilities — something we’ve never experienced before. I even bought a drink at lunch and was told I couldn’t sit down, with a staff member trying to take it off me after I’d paid. Completely unacceptable. The hotel also claims to be disabled-friendly, but we faced multiple accessibility issues. Only positive was the evening entertainment, but that alone doesn’t make up for the rest. Would not recommend unless major changes are made.

Okay hotel but quite a walk away from the old town and up a steep hill. Didn't try the breakfast as it was only continental and we like an English breakfast. Rooms ok but a lot of noise from rooms above, chairs scraping etc. Took a while to check in but staff were friendly enough. Wouldn't stay again due to the location and room noise.

We had a great stay. 1 week as a group of 3 family’s. Our rooms were basic but all fine had a fridge, air con etc. Hotel is clean. Food was fine there was a good variety of hot, cold foods and dessert. Toasties and hot dogs with crisps and variety of branded ice creams from to pool bar when the buffet was closed. We were very impressed with the drinks. All premium glass bottled soft drinks (Coca-Cola, Fanta, sprite, juice etc) and branded alcoholic drinks. Pool was lovely and splash pad and small pool with slide for the kids. Play area could be improved. Not many beds by the pool and people queuing and running in a race for beds in the morning was crazy. Kids entertainment was fine for the kids they enjoyed but there wasn’t much as far as adult evening entertainment goes. The area is fine if you’re not planning on leaving the hotel much. Not too far from the airport a 15 min walk to the beach with a few restaurants and bus trip into the town. Not much close by shops wise but we didn’t go far. Overall we had a really lovely holiday ! Would consider coming back.

Absolutely loved our family vacation here. We were over for 7 days being 2 adults and 2 kids. Cleaning of the hotel was on point and the lady that cleaned our room was unbelievably thorough. Although the swimming pool is unheated, the children had a blast. The reception staff was very helpful whenever we needed information. The girl that does the animation was fun and bubbly and kept the kids entertained, so thank you. The food was AMAZING, so hats off to the chef and staff, and the girls on serving staff were always helpful and professional! Point to improve (in my opinion): a set of dumbbells in the gym and more training to the young man in the cafeteria in manners and respect, especially when dealing with women.

I stayed with my partner for 7 nights with all inclusive. We would like to recommend this hotel in almost every respect. Very nice and warm service both in the hotel and in the kitchen. Lovely holiday here, it’s a 3 star but the staff work very hard to make it look more. The rooms are basic but clean. The entertainment is fun for the family and the kids club guys work very hard to make it fun for everyone, they are great. The pool is small but nice and warm and the bar is handy poolside. The location is good but no grocery shops are close by, there are a nice few bars and restaurants along the walkway and up in La Mata. The buses run directly outside the hotel to Torrevieja town or La Mata. We enjoyed the holiday here and would visit again.

Extremely disappointed. The room was nothing like the photos – old, worn furniture and a “sea view” that’s actually a view into another building. Location is far from shops and restaurants, with steep walks. We believed breakfast was included – it wasn’t. Elevators are tiny, with no ventilation, making them unpleasant and impractical for guests with luggage. Staff made no effort to help carry bags, even when they saw two adults with two small children struggling. The pool opens only at 10:00, far too late for families with kids. Overall, misleading listing and very poor service – absolutely not recommended. --- Updated review: We initially had a very negative impression of this hotel — and to be fair, many things still fell short of expectations. The elevators are small and unventilated, making luggage trips awkward and sweaty. Staff didn’t offer help, even when watching two adults struggle with two young kids and bags. The pool opens at 10:00, which feels oddly late, especially for families with early risers. And the noise levels from the so-called entertainment echoing between the blocks made it hard to relax, especially with poor terrace soundproofing. However, in the interest of fairness — credit where it’s due. The front desk staff have proven to be warm, helpful, and solution-oriented. The cleaning staff and the female lifeguard at the pool also made a very positive impression. Their kindness and professionalism made a real difference in our stay. Because of these genuinely lovely individuals, I’m adding one more star to my review. Hospitality matters — and they delivered on that part.

The main reason for leaving such a bad score is the hotel. From the moment we arrived, the lobby, reception area and outside, by the bar was filled with drunk people, looking really rough, in such way that we worried for our safety, especially travelling with young children. Our first thought was that we were in the wrong hotel. After checking in we went to our rooms to find out that there was no balcony. It is the first time we travel to a beach destination where there was no balcony, making it impossible to dry our bathing suits. Because we arrived late and missed the dinner, we were told we could go in the restaurant for snacks. The restaurant looked like it's been vandalised with food on the floor and dirty dishes everywhere. Throughout our holiday we have noticed rough people with their young children weeing from the side of the swimming pool into the pool and also kids, bum naked sitting on the lobby sofas. What was worse is that nobody was doing anything about it, as if it was normal. On 2 different occasions we noticed police in the lobby questioning people. The only good things about the place was that the restaurant staff were really pleasant and polite and food was good, air conditioning worked and they were changing towels every day. We are not the type of tourists who complain that the breakfast is the same every day and there is no English breakfast option on a holiday in Spain, on the contrary, we are quite easy going but this was unacceptable to the fact that we were thinking to ring if it's possible to pay extra to change the hotel from the moment we arrived, but we just got used to the idea that we got conned and tried to make the most of it.

We recently stayed for 9 nights at Hotel Magic Cristal Park with an all-inclusive package. Our initial room had no phone signal, no view, and no hair dryer. However, after speaking with the manager on the second day, she was incredibly kind and responsive. While we had lunch, she resolved everything within 20 minutes and moved us to a much nicer room that had all we needed. She also explained that the hotel is undergoing renovations, improving room by room. Some may find the style old-fashioned, but that’s part of the hotel's charm—they’re preserving its classic look while upgrading the facilities. The food was absolutely amazing—many compliments and blessings to the chefs! Great variety, delicious flavors, and consistent quality throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean, and we highly recommend tipping the hardworking housekeeping staff. If you've ever worked in a hotel, you’ll know how tough their job is—they truly deserve recognition. The location is also a big plus: just two streets away from the beach, making it very convenient. Right below the hotel, there’s a mini-market where you can find pretty much anything you need, and the prices are very fair. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend Hotel Magic Cristal Park to anyone looking for a cozy, all-inclusive stay in Benidorm with great service.

Avoid at All Costs – Worst Hotel Experience Ever I rarely leave negative reviews, but Magic Cristal Park in Benidorm was truly atrocious. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel is stuck in the past — and not in a charming way. The decor is extremely outdated, everything looks worn out, and cleanliness seems to be a complete afterthought. The entire place felt dirty, with grimy floors, dusty surfaces, and an overall musty smell. The staff were shockingly rude and unhelpful. Any questions or concerns we had were met with eye-rolls or blunt responses, as if we were a burden rather than paying guests. The atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. As for the food — absolutely disgusting. Lukewarm slop, no variety, and questionable hygiene. We ended up eating out most days just to avoid the stomach-turning options on offer. Honestly, this hotel completely ruined what could have been a lovely trip. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere — this place is in serious need of a total overhaul and new management.

We stayed for 4 nights and we had a pleasant stay. The hotel was a bit old and can be busy but every effort has been made to keep the place clean and tidy. The staff are helpful and reasonably friendly. They have an extensive buffet restaurant in 2 floors a bar where the drinks are not watered down as usually happens in some all inclusive hotels. The hotel has a big swimming pool on the 7th floor and games arcade for the children. Centrally located for the old town and bars and a 5 minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend it if you are a budget conscious holiday maker.

On arrival, I found the sliding doors to the balcony had been broken for what looked like a break-in and wouldn't lock. I did get another room next door, but it was the same thing. After 4 rooms later, all with the same fault, I found myself in a dated room from the 80s, as was the other rooms I was temporarily in. The bathroom was also not that great, but all ementies worked. The door was rottered at the bottom from the shower, and the mattress hadn't been changed since the hotel opened as I sat through it. The over sheets are also dated with stains on. The hotel is located in a great place, being a 2-minute walk to the beach and 1 minute from McDonald's and Burger King and other local shops. The food was OK but nothing to write home about and wish I never paid full board for as I often found myself eating elsewhere. Some staff was OK, but one in particular was quite rude to a point of aggression. I think he was the manager . They do have a pool, but when the wheatear on the beach was too bad to go into the sea, I did put my hand into the pool to test it. I got such a fright as it was so cold it would have been impossible to get in. There is such an abundance of hotels here that they really do need to up their game.

I find it so difficult to find fault with this hotel! It is spotlessly clean! And the staff are efficient and so eager to please. Gonzalez in the bar deserves a 5 star review of his own! Reception staff too were marvellous. The decor is dated and if I’m honest an upgrade would benefit 100%. However everything is clean and bright and airy. The air conditioning in the rooms is efficient and I would recommend the place without hesitation.

Hotel Cuco Review – Disappointing and Not Worth the Money I recently stayed at Hotel Cuco and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The only positive was the newly refurbished reception area, which looks modern and welcoming. Sadly, that’s where the positives end. The rest of the hotel is extremely run down. The rooms are outdated, with peeling paint and worn-out furniture — definitely not what you’d expect from a supposedly decent hotel. It feels neglected and in need of serious attention. The food was absolutely appalling — by far the worst I’ve ever had at any hotel. We booked all-inclusive, but it was a total waste of money as we found ourselves eating out every day just to avoid the hotel meals. The pool area, which isn’t even part of the main building, was equally disappointing. It smelled bad, looked neglected, and had no atmosphere. The pool bar was never open, so we had to walk back to the main hotel every time we wanted a drink — hardly relaxing or convenient. Honestly, I would rate this hotel a 2-star at best — and that’s being generous. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made across the board.

A modern, very tidy hotel situated on the edge of the old town. The staff were friendly, clean rooms (although the bedding was a little dated). Communal areas were clean tidy and quiet. Occasional groups but everyone was respectful and pleasant. Pool table, air hockey and darts. Weekend entertainment provided in live music/singers. Lift to all floors and roof terrace to enjoy the sun with a small bar. The pool on the roof is a little small, but good enough to dip in to cool down. If you like a larger pool, there’s one across the road shared with another hotel. Towels are provided on requested with a refundable deposit. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Bathrooms immaculate. Good showers, nice and hot or cool if you prefer. Most rooms have a balcony with seating provided. Food was good. The dining room was clean and tidy with a wide variety of meals and desserts. A comfortable stay and would recommend for a short break with good access to old and new town, just a short walk from the beach.

Came here for a short break with family on a bed & breakfast basis. We had a very pleasant stay! The hotel was decorated very tastefully and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We also found all of the staff to be very courteous, welcoming and attentive. Although we only had the bed & breakfast package, we found that the drinks were very reasonably priced for a hotel (e.g. €1.50 for a glass of wine). There was also the option to upgrade to all inclusive at a very reasonable rate. If we were staying longer, we would have probably chosen to upgrade for a couple of days. The breakfast buffet had a great choice of hot and cold choices, including meats and cheeses. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant area and we were greeted very cheerfully by the staff there each morning! The hotel is located approximately a 10 minute walk from the Old Town and sea front; however, there are plenty of restaurants and shops just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel too. Its also a lovely walk through the Old Town and along the promenade up to the stunning viewing platform and then down towards the New Town where it is very lively with entertainment all day and night. There really is something for everyone here!

Our second time booking this hotel and we liked it again. We decided to go all inclusive on the day of arrival as we have never done it before, wouldnt say it’s worth the money for the drinks but the food was pretty good. I would say they need to add more vegetarian options as some nights the only veggie option was pasta and sauce and even then the sauce had meat in it. Some nights there was 2 paellas and both meat is maybe suggest making one a veggie to cater to everyone. The reception staff are absolutely amazing always helpful. It is a lovely hotel and we will come back again especially for the service from the staff.

The rooftop pool area is small, but there's a pool across the street that guests have access to, which is much bigger. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Benidorm

Location of hotel is great but if you're not out partying until 2-3am I would take earplugs! We were in room 303, looked right onto Waikiki Bar and it was NOISY! The shower also had a problem regulating temperature so be careful, when it's hot, it's scolding! Hotel itself is lovely, clean, and bar/restaurant staff very friendly, can't say same for guy on reception when we arrived, don't think he even spoke! We were half board and both breakfast and dinner were great, warm and plenty of choice.

Great location, relaxing atmosphere The hotel is in an excellent location—walking distance to everything, which made getting around really easy. Unfortunately, we didn’t get much pool time due to the weather, but it was still lovely to sit by and relax. We stayed on a half-board basis and liked the flexibility of choosing either lunch or dinner along with breakfast. In our experience, the lunch options were definitely stronger than the dinners. Drinks were very reasonably priced—less than €2 for a glass of wine! The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s worth noting that the hotel seems to cater more to Spanish guests, which we actually appreciated—it felt authentic, and after all, we are in Spain! One of the standout aspects was the peaceful atmosphere. There’s a strict noise cut-off in the evenings, so no loud parties or rowdy groups—mostly retired Spanish guests, couples, and young families, which suited us perfectly. My only thing for giving the room 4 stars is it would have been lovely to have a small fridge, I did pre message the hotel regarding this however had no reply. However the bar staff did provide ice and plastic cups free of charge on request. For the price paid this hotel is perfect.

Perfect location just outside the Old town, quite a residential area but has plenty of shops and bars. Beach is a ten min walk. Hotel was 90 % Spanish. Reception was good although we struggled to get a taxi, the man on reception tried to ring us a taxi but left the call on speaker and didn’t tell us he had the call waiting and we sat there like lemons. He didn’t say anything so we asked can you get us a taxi and he said no too busy. We had to walk to the new town which was 35-40 min walk. The food was ok not great and was never hot. Pool area has no ambience I think some back ground music would be nice. Only snacks at bar area was crisp and olives. Overall an ok hotel nice and clean. Maids came in every day. I enjoyed my stay but probably would look for a hotel with some atmosphere.

Just come back after spending 7 nights at the hotel all inclusive, I enjoyed my stay here, I like how you go from the outside area to the reception, staff was extremely polite and friendly. Rooms was nice and clean, beds where comfortable, air con was left on All day and the room was nice and cool. We had a room overlooking the street which had amazing views, we even asked for a kettle which was provided. Food: Food was nice but very repetitive which we got bored and started to eat out however there is something for everyone, two areas in the restaurant to eat which I find great as it can get busy around the times to eat. Only thing I would suggest is more option for children, Area: lovely area nice and clean, not far from shops, beach and bars. Taxis always available if you decided to head out further a field. We stayed at Maya Hotel for four nights, which gave us enough time to observe the hotel in detail. First, the location is excellent. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and it’s also very close to a tram station and a shopping mall. The city center and the beach are within walking distance, and it’s also ideally located for visiting the castle. The rooms have been recently renovated they are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. However, water pressure in the shower occasionally drops, and we had to endure sudden bursts of cold water at times. Other than that, we were satisfied with everything in the room. Note that there’s no kettle in the room you need to request one from reception. Reception staff were generally not friendly. At check-in, they didn’t clearly explain much, and when we asked for suggestions, their responses were cold and dismissive often just one-word answers. I would like to make an exception for the lady with curly black hair she was very kind and genuinely helpful. We booked a room with breakfast included, and it was quite good there was a decent variety, everything was tasty, and the restaurant staff were polite and professional. Now, the downsides: The hotel seems overly eager to charge extra for small things. There were no complimentary water bottles in the room. If you want a beach towel, you need to pay a €10 deposit and even if you use the same towel during your stay, you’ll still be charged €1 for washing it. These policies were not clearly explained at check-in, and you have to pick up the towels from reception, not the pool. Also, you can’t charge anything to your room from the bar, which felt unusual you must pay on the spot for every drink or snack. The pool area is not well-managed. There aren’t enough sunbeds or umbrellas. Even though there are signs saying “no reserving sunbeds,” people still do it, and there’s no enforcement. The pool is small and children constantly jump in from the edges. With no lifeguard on duty, it’s not only unsafe but also quite disruptive. If you want coffee, it’s served in cardboard cups, and cocktails are given in plastic ones not exactly what you’d expect from a hotel that otherwise looks promising. Overall, while it’s a decent hotel in many ways, we probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Breakfast amazing as so much to choose from. Reception staff friendly if you need to know anything. Highly recommended hotel.

I do not understand the high reviews for this place. It is run down and leaves much to be desired. My bathroom has mold and the front desk acted annoyed when I asked to change rooms... I am 'waiting' for them to investigate as if they do not believe me, but the smell in the bathroom is toxic. The gym equipment is held together with duct tape, and the lights and AC do not work in the gym. The pool is overcrowded without enough seats, and you have to pay for a towel. Positives: the beds are comfortable and do not have bugs and the rooms, other than mold, seemed to be clean (but I did find a hair that was not mine on one of the pillows). It is also close to a big shopping center and the beach, but both are a hot walk that is further than it appears on the map. The bus from the airport to this location was convenient. If you are on the fence about this place, I would look elsewhere. I wish I had.

We had an excellent stay at Maya hotel for our long weekend holiday in June. We had a triple room for 2 adults and 1 infant. The room had 2 single beds, a sofa that could convert into a bed and the hotel also provided a travel cot. The room was spacious and clean with amazing views over the pool and Monte Benacantil. The pool area was busy but we were always able to find a spare sun lounger. There is a large deep pool and a smaller shallow pool alongside a pool bar with shaded seating area. There is also a little play park perfect for kids. Breakfast buffet every morning was amazing, lots of choice and variation. Lovely fresh fruit, traditional Continental breakfast options and local treats. The hotel is a perfect location, short walk from the bus/tram stop or a short walk into the centre of town and the beach. Really easy and quick to get to and from the airport. Staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay.

Our room was perfect for us very clean, nice balcony, clean bathroom fresh towels everyday has maids came every morning to clean. Breakfast was a variety from English to Spanish and even diabetic fresh juice and fruit was perfect. Pool area was clean downside was pool was very small for a big hotel got very busy so pool was full, sunbeds I found very uncomfortable for my back as some were damaged or broken just had to find one that was ok. Perfect stay for us that we have booked for 2026.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, and has AC everywhere, which is great considering the heat outside. Staff are courteous, professional and always happy to help. The rooms, as well as the rest of the hotel, are immaculately cleaned. Had a balcony with table and two chairs, and was perfect for our needs. Comfy beds, extra pillows, cleaned every day with fresh towels. One niggle, there was no kettle, which is a shame as I can't function without a coffee 1st thing, but I would not hold that against the hotel, it's just my personal preference. Highly recommended, in fact, we have booked the same hotel for next year... Perfect location, close enough to the strip, but not close enough to be disturbed by the noise. About a 5min walk to the beach, and about 25 mins gentle stroll to the old town

Me and my partner stayed here end of June, what a excellent hotel professional staff very polite and helpful, the hotel was very cool with air-conditioning. Our room was perfect for what we needed very clean nice balcony view, beds were very comfy we didn't hear any noise from outside has we had a room on front of street and clubs, room was cleaned every day and fresh towels which was perfect. Breakfast from 8am you couldn't ask for anything more variety of everything to English to Spainish food also catered for diabetic has we were B&B we filled up for the day. Only down side was the pool area very small for a big hotel especially has the pool area gets busy, there were enough sunbeds but I found them uncomfortable to lie on, shame also some were damaged. All the staff were very friendly and helpful the total of the hotel was very clean and we enjoyed our stay that we have rebooked for 2026.

We had a great stay at Servio Calypso. The staff were fantastic, all very friendly & helpful. We loved that the hotel felt safe & secure. Breakfast was great & lots of choice. I would say that the rooms were comfortable they just need a little updating & freshening up. I also felt that the pool area could do with better maintenance regarding the flower pots , weeds & also a lot of broken umberellas. There was no need to rush out for sunbeds though which was great as there were enough for everybody! Overall, it was a great stay & we would return again. It was good value for money for a 4 night stay & birthday celebration.

I cannot find any faults with the hotel at all. The location for 'the strip' is great. It can be a little noisy in the early hours of the morning but that is not the fault of the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A friend of mine has stayed in a lot of hotels in Benidorm and he said the food was great. He even convinced me to book half board, which we did. *Giving 2 stars because sea views are awesome if you pay for a room with sea views, but other important conditions and services of the hotel are pretty terrible or even suspicious. Beware!* There were several maintenance issues in the bedroom and balcony. Above all, there was a spiderweb in a corner of the balcony that no one of the cleaning service seemed to care enough to remove. Another minor issues in the balcony that need proper maintenance. Room was OK, it has a good size and the sea views are very good. Bathroom was OK, although I found it a bit outdated somehow. I only had the breakfast included, the variety of food was OK, but I got annoyed because of the high level of noise. It was not just people talking and children being as they are, but the waiters made also a lot of noise with the cutlery, trails and talking loudly between them. Also, it was not very nice from them to keep watching closely the guests while we were eating, plus removing of cups of coffee or dishes in the very same moment that we took the last sip. I have been in many hotels of 2, 3 and 4 stars, and it is usual now that the guest takes his tray to the removal place and not been observed by waiters, so we can take as much time for breakfast as we want. (But honestly the noise didn't make the restaurant comfortable). I understand this is a traditional hotel still keeping old ways and that there are many children and old people as guests, but still I don't see the need for having waiters staring at guests when we are eating. Some umbrellas in the swimming pool area were in bad condition, and many sunbeds were broken on the rear part, it was not possible to adjust the seat. What a shame! Also, there was hair in the swimming pool, and a young father got into with his baby in diapers, the innocent baby pooped inside the pool. That was very disgusting! Several male guests jumped into the swimming pool (their heads first), they didn't look for safety (not for themselves nor for other guests who were inside the pool). But the worst thing ever,  was that the lifeguard did nothing! The strangest thing were the people in the hotel reception,  they knew nothing about hiking routes around benidorm,  nor about tours in nearest villages, and also zero idea about private car services as uber or cabify. But the strangest thing was their offering of a free room to have a shower for only 15 minutes (as they told me it was not possible to pay for a late check out), along with that strange "courtesy" offering they required me - in not good manners -, to tell them the exact hour of the day in which I would take a 15 min shower in that free room (no idea where that room was or the condition of it). Of course, I refused that "courtesy" offer. I have stayed in many hotels and that has never been offered to me. I have talked with several acquaintances about that "courtesy room for a 15 min shower" and all of them agree that it is certainly very strange.

Really enjoyed our time here. This hotel is 3 stars and fulfils that and more! Had everything we needed, good food, lovely pool, ample sunbeds, great drinks at the bar, clean, friendly service and helpful team all around! Only point taken away is the location is slightly out the way and located on a steep hill. But this is all easily fixed with taxis/bus service. Burned some extra calories doing some walks and going up and down the hill! Would definitely recommend!

7 fantastic days! We absolutely love this hotel and we will definitely be back! Fantastic breakfast fantastic service really friendly staff so lovely, spoke to many of them tried a bit of Spanish probably failed badly, but they appreciated the effort, the pool was lovely it's a peaceful location not in the centre of chaos, hotel was very clean had that Spanish 80s feel to it which I love, wonderful balconies was so nice to be able to chill outside and watch the pool shimmering at night listening to the laughter in the distance! Will be back soon!

Stayed 1 night, I wouldn’t want to be here for a week food was pretty poor half the buffet on poor selection mushroom pizza best of a very bad bunch. Not like this group stayed in loads in particular La Zenia amazing how standards differ !

Disappointed from the time we got to the reception. €200 per room deposit, we had 3 rooms so a total of €600. Lifts are not maintained, and sound like they are falling apart. No rooftop bar as advertised. Outdoor pool, green and poorly maintained. No pool parties as advertised neither. Food wasn't great, and all inclusive drinks stops at 7pm. Was not worth the money. The only best part is the man sat at the gate in the evenings, was polite and lovely. And leaving the hotel to go home. AVOID!

When we arrived, the atmosphere was intense—seriously loud music and stag dos everywhere. It was full-on from the start. Reception staff were great, very helpful. They gave us four drink tokens and explained these were for our all-inclusive drinks, even though we had wristbands. Maids came everyday so yeah, good. We were a group of four staying in a one-bedroom apartment. The room itself was nice, but the bedroom was pretty cramped for two people. After unpacking, we headed for drinks. Unfortunately, the bar experience was frustrating. There was a long wait, and they only allowed one drink per person. That meant each of us had to queue up separately. Meanwhile, others were walking away with multiple drinks as they were tipping. In 50 minutes, we only managed to get two drinks each. Next, we tried the food. It wasn’t terrible, but it was cold, which was disappointing. Basic food. Chips pizza etc. The next day was chaotic. The place was packed because people can buy tickets for the pool party, even if they’re not staying at the hotel. We couldn’t even get close to the pool. Later, things got worse—arguments, shouting, even scuffles. It was complete mayhem. Honestly, I’ve never seen anything like it. After that, we didn’t use the hotel for food or drinks again. We chose to go out every day instead. Is it the worst place ever? No. But you really need to know what you’re getting into. Would I go back? No—but that’s just my personal choice.

Just got back from staying here I stayed 2023 everything was fine then. Staff Wer great food wasn’t good but everything else was, just got back from staying again an never again will I book here new staff and they was so rude didn’t meat one polite staff member, food was shocking pool parties are boring music is rubbish rooms have cockroaches in and I have came home very ill from the pool. The lifts nearly jam you in the doors just close on you absolutely shocking hotel

What do I say about this hotel? Checking in for the hen weekend the receptionist was very rude, she even got up mid way through checking us all in and walked away🤦 not very professional at all, in fact it was downright rude and unacceptable. I get there was 20 of us but it was 5 rooms which in grand scheme is nothing, considering there was a group of 40 stags being checked in at same time. The pool was an absolute joke, hotel guests could only use certain parts as they would rather people paid to use their pool, not as though our stay was cheap. Pool area from outsiders was like a sex party upto no good in the pool and on the loungers🤯staff didn't care they just shrugged when it got highlighted to them. Rooms were great we didn't have any problems, the staff overall were extremely helpful and made our stay very pleasurable even with the negatives so thank you. Food was okay I'm a very fussy eater but always found something to choose from

Recently stayed at this hotel on a girls holiday staff were excellent and very helpful and welcoming and are always on hand if you have any issues or concerns. Food was brilliant can’t complain it was close to walk to the beach and bars which is always a bonus. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Rooms were also brilliant.

Terrible agency Nuevhogar! Don't do business with them! All they are interested in is your money, not your comfort. We tried to solve the problem in a friendly way without leaving negative comments. But they won't meet us. And they refuse to give us our money back. We were given a flat with access to a pub, we are a family with 2 children. It's impossible to sleep at night because of the noise. It was our first time in Benidorm and we didn't know that the flat was in an area of pubs open until 6am. The description of the flat did not say that! no refund! Because of this we cannot change the flat elsewhere. Telling us it's your fault. It is hot in the flat and there is no air conditioning (August), and one fan for the whole flat does not work well. And they will charge you for wi-fi. I don’t recommend. Run away from them. And find a more conscientious and honest agency that cares about your comfort.

Small rooms, not very clean. No air conditioning, so good luck in the summer. They are near the beach though, just a 7-8 minutes walk and they have a nice though not very big pool. When you arrive you have to pay 200€ for insurance, no one told us anything about this and it bothered us a bit.

Location of the property is really convenient, not far from the beach and nearby restaurants, shops or bus stops. The superior floors offer very nice views over the city and the sea. Also, the office where key collection is done is close by and the process is easy going. Because of the quite bad weather conditions in the period of time we were there, the wind was bringing all kind of objects in the property's swimming pool. From all the surrounding properties, this was the only one where no cleaning was done, so the pool was not accessible. There were a lot of dirt and leaves in the water for several days we were there. The apartment we booked was for 5 persons, but it's quite small for this number of people. Also, the couch in the living room, could not be used for sleeping, as when it was extended, it was falling apart, the support foot being broken, so one person had to sleep on the floor. Very small cabin shower, as well, and the cleaning level can be a bit higher...

Stayed end of March for a hen weekend. Basic rooms, but was clean and tidy. Equipped kitchen but we didn't use on our stay. Had a heater to which was needed as was a chilly weekend. Beds were fine, rooms are on the smaller side but fine for a base camp. The €200 deposit is a little steep and we got less back as the € went down. Great location tho can not fault that close walking distance to everywhere. We stayed on the 6th floor. Lots of groups stayed here so had minimal noise but it's expected.

After reading some reviews I was really worried about the holiday, but the whole week was fabulous! The apartment was spotless and the building doesn't allow stag/hen parties, it had a huge balcony and would comfortably sleep 4 adults, The caretaker was very friendly and always stopped to say hello...Its very well placed for the beach and a 5 minute walk from the strip...honestly can't recommend The Aquarium lll enough and we will definitely be booking here again! (oh and the security deposit is only 100 euros which you get back no bother at the end of your stay)

A very pleasant place to stay. The room I had was fairly basic. Though it was very clean with all the facilities needed for a base while I visited Benidorm. The ladies cleaning the rooms were very attentive. The staff on the reception desk were always polite, attentive helpful. The hotel is clean and in an excellent location for exploring the old town and the beach. If you're looking for somewhere lively for the evening, this hotel isn't that far away from the very active nightlife. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I was very doubtful about this place while booking so I booked 2 nights here and one night in some other hotel.. but trust me have I not paid for the other place already, I would have extended my stay here for sure. But just because of this hotel, I have extended my stay & booked another night here. the location is awesome, the staff is friendly, special mention to the people at the reception (both morning & night shifts), they were very helpful and wonderful to talk to made my stay even more smoother. Rooms are spacious, with clean, comfortable beds & pillows and a mind blowing view to the ocean.. if you love the sound of the waves and to look at the water while sitting in your room/bed.. this is just the hotel for you to unwind !! Can't wait to come back. Room 404, best view !!

Amazing location and beachfront but my back is aching from the horrible beds. They are hard and you feel the mattress Springs. Couldn't sleep well because of it. The room itself is ok but we knew that beforehand. We booked it because of the location not knowing sleeping will be an issue. sleeping (or not) to the sound of the waves is nice though.

Hotel Bilbaino for me, was perfect! Spotlessly clean. Rooms were spacious with everything i needed. Friendly, informative staff. 24 hour reception. Location is the BEST. 10 steps onto the beach. Everything else within walking distance. Great views. I'll definitely be returning.

Definately recommend, lovely hotel with amazing sea view and perfect localization - located right next to the sea and very close to old city - shops restaurants bars just round the corner - rooms are clean, have comfortable beds, fridge, tv, bathroom, big woredrobe. Its Not a new hotel however all the pros compensate for that Staff very friendly and helpful I would definately come back here again
