The room was spotless and very well looked after every day — you can really tell the staff care.
And the breakfast was spectacular! So many delicious options and everything fresh and beautifully presented. It was definitely a highlight of my stay.

Booked a room at Sercotel on the last minute as we had to change our accommodation plans after arriving. We arrived at the hotel just before noon and they were kind enough to allow for an early check-in as our room had already been cleaned. We found the room spacious, clean, and appreciated the amenities as fresh toiletry was already sorted and we did not had to ask for a single thing. We have not done a lot of research since it was very last minute, but found the hotel when looking at comparison websites and headed to their own website to book directly and get a better deal. Our main priority was location as we wanted to explore the castle, and we found that the start of the trail up was just about five minutes away, there was also a tram station nearby, we could easily walk from the beachside to the hotel, and there was a big shopping centre not too far away from the hotel. Also, there's a lovely pizza place just down the road. Overall, it was a very good experience and I'm glad we chose to stay at Sercotel Maya Alicante.

Lovely place to stay near popular tourist attractions. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathroom is nice and has a bathtub and even a bidet. Free Wi-Fi is available. What more can I say? I highly recommend this place.

My son and I stayed at the Sercotel Maya hotel during Christmas 2025. I booked a package with Jet2holidays because it was quite a cheap deal, I wasn't expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were very polite and courteous. The hotel was immaculately clean and the room spotless with an extremely good bath and shower. We stayed for four nights and every morning the smiling chamber maid tidied the room in such a way that everything seemed new and fresh. On Christmas day we had breakfast in the hotel and again the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was excellent with a large selection of different dishes. The bacon was particularly good, my son said he had never eaten such good bacon - used to the tough English varient! Anyway, I have no hesitation in giving this hotel a 10/10 and recommending this hotel as the ideal family hotel in Alacanta! My son and I will definitely be back but in the summer when we can use the swimming pool!

Staying at the Maya Alicante was a great experience. The reception staff were welcoming and professional and the catering and room staff were happy and friendly. The hotel was clean and the bedroom comfortable - I didn’t want to get out of bed it was too comfy!!
The food was good! Plenty of vegan options in the evening but not so much for breakfast although there was lots of fruit and toast which was great. We would stay again - great value for money!
