Just got back from staying here for a week.
Would I go again… definitely not, would recommend what so ever. The staff are very very rude, the only staff polite was the staff behind the bars in the kids pool area they was lovely, the 2 blokes in the bar inside near reception were horrible one was called Alexander.
One night went to see what entertainment was on and it was Michael Jackson impressionist, I was sat at the table with my wife and young child and as he was coming through the pool entertainer was walking him through the guy with dreadlocks and tattoos grabbed my chair from behind and violently pushed me into my 6 year olds chair, I wasn’t even in the way I was at the table which they had set out, when he walked back passed me I said why have you just done that and he laughed in my face and said cause Michael Jackson is here and walked away, spent the last 3 days in my room after that instead on downstairs.
The room temperatures are actually awful there air con doesn’t work properly so your sat in a room that’s 27 plus degrees never colder sweating unable to sleep or anything.
The lifts in the place are outrageous honestly never experiences anything like that in my life it’ll ruin your day trust me.
The all inclusive food was terrible but wasn’t nice either it was just something to put in your stomach so you don’t starve, they don’t change cuisine every day was the same spaghetti pasta chips all flavourless. We ended up eating out most of the time waste of all inclusive, the alcohol doesn’t do anything either had to go buy alcohol from the shops and mix it myself with there mixers as there alcohol doesn’t clearly have alcohol in just a sour taste.
I have never complained or left a negative review on anywhere in my life we go on holiday 2-3 times a year and only ever left positive but this was the worst stay of our lives, this was meant to be a little break after we got married last month in Cyprus and honestly cannot believe how terrible the staff have made our stay, if it was just 1 or 2 little things it wouldn’t be an issue but the staff have completely ruined the entire experience plus the other faults which can’t be shaken due to the overall treatment, wasted £2k on all inclusive for the 3 of us as a last minute deal 3 days before flying out and another £1k on spending money from how much we had to eat out to avoid the hotel.
Thanks for ruining our honeymoon break after our wedding with your terrible staff and service, if I wasn’t there with my child and wife this would have been a completely different outlook.
DO NOT waste your money here, the ONLY positive was the child’s pool which my son did love when the staffs families wasn’t running around it bullying all the English kids and pushing them and blocking them anyway.

We stayed at this hotel for our family holiday because of the great price and the aqua park, and it was a fantastic choice! It’s close to the sea with beautiful beaches and stunning greenish water—perfect for diving.
Our room was on the 14th floor with a large terrace, amazing views (mountains, sea, and city), and a powerful AC that saved us from the summer heat. The room was spacious—our kids even had room to run around. There was a fridge for cold drinks, a big bathroom, and everything was very clean.
The hotel staff were excellent—super friendly and patient, even helping me practice my beginner Spanish! Meals were a highlight: breakfast, lunch, and dinner offered something different every day with dishes from all over the world. Only complaint? Too many delicious desserts 😄
We didn’t use the big pool, as we preferred the beach, but the kids’ pool was great in the evenings. There are six fun slides and a lifeguard always on duty. Snacks and fresh fruit were always available by the pool, which was a big plus. Some hotel guests go overboard with booze, but I don't need to name the country—everyone already knows.
Yes, it’s a tall hotel, but we never waited more than 2–3 minutes for the lifts. We even used the stairs sometimes for fun and fitness!
Before we left, our return flight was at 23:50 while checkout was at 12:00. I asked at reception about late checkout, but they couldn’t offer it because the hotel was fully booked. Still, they were amazing—they let us leave our bags in the baggage room, use the showers, and continue enjoying all the hotel facilities, including food, drinks, and activities, until it was time to leave. Truly appreciated!
Only two small suggestions:
– Some kids’ pool sunbeds need replacing (broken backrests).
– A drying rack on the balcony would be useful for towels.
The 5-minute walk to the beach was a bit “dangerous” for our wallets—too many toy shops tempting the kids! 😄
Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Just enjoy the place, be kind, and make the most of your holiday!

This Hotel is absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Rooms are kept spotless and the kids pool area is ideal. Bear in mind it's only kids that can use the chutes and slides. The restaurant is a very high standard they try and change the menu daily having different themes. The amount of choice you get is outstanding, there is something for literally everyone. The food hall is extremely hygienic everything is perfectly cooked and as it should be in four star hotel. The staff in the restaurant are excellent and very friendly and helpfull. Don't listen to the rubbish some people post about this hotel. This hotel has a large number of Spanish people holidaying there so that should tell you how good it is. Top marks. Next time in Benidorm this would be my first choice...👍⭐⭐⭐⭐

We have just got back from 5 nights at the Rosamar Hotel & what a brilliant holiday / stay we have had! The location was the absolutely highlight of this hotel, situated right across from the strip, though not too close to be disturbed by noise / party goers. We found this brilliant as there’s so much around the hotel, beach isn’t far at all & it made it easy to get back from night outs etc. 10/10 on location!!
The room we stayed in was a very generous size, we were given a corner room & the balcony back onto our families balcony round the corner so we could see each other from across the way which was brilliant. Room was clean & ideal. 2 double beds pushed together so ample room and the shower was lovely. Room was an absolute 10/10 for us, we could not fault it at all.
I do believe staff at the hotel could’ve been a little more friendly. Certain reception staff, cleaners and bar staff all came off a little rude from time to time. I do not believe this was due to a language barrier either as they spoke decent english. The cleaner didn’t clean our room so we asked at Reception for some clean towels / toilet roll, they said a cleaner would meet us at our room in a minute if we go up. We were there for 2 hours waiting, still nothing. After ringing them & querying, we didn’t receive the towels & toilet roll until the next day when they finally came back to clean, this was quite inconvenient for showering / going to the toilet, luckily we had family across the hall but if we didn’t we would’ve struggled.
A big shame was that we couldn’t do late check out which we wanted to pay for but i totally understand that the hotel was full & it’s out of their control, though the way it was dealt with was just not the best. We went down at 7.30am to ask to extend & kept being told, “come back in an hour”. Went back down continuously just to be told no.. not sure why they couldn’t just tell us on the first trip down? but hey ho.
Food isn’t the best, basic chips etc are okay. They do have english sausage which is alright on a butty for brekkie. We were all inclusive as it was cheap to upgrade but we mainly did that for the drinks side of it. We ate out most Mornings/Evenings, there’s so much nearby.
Pool days were great. No smoking by the pool but not a problem for us to move for that. Pool does get extremely over crowded and you can’t exactly “swim” much as there isn’t a lot of room🤣
There was 4 lifts and wow it was horrendous trying to get up and down within a decent time😅 We were on floor 10 and most of the time the lift stopped at every single floor, could do with extra lifts 🛗 but that’s me being very picky, it didn’t impact the holiday.
Overall, a lovely stay at the Rosamar. The interior in reception etc is gorgeous. Rooms lovely with a view & location absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t fault it, even if there was a few negatives. There will be negatives wherever people go.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Amenities are wonderful great splash park for the kids. Plenty of food on offer. Bar staff work very hard. Life guard is a pain in the arse 1 minute you can have a ball and a lilo the next you can't. Rules need to followed at all times not just pick and choose when things can happen. Entertainment was garbage for a 4 star. Food was repetitive but was okay. Didn't use the spa. It's close enough to everything 5 min walk to the beach. Hotel itself is very clean but the sun lounger situation is ridiculous at the big pool people shouldn't be allowed to leave towels down all day when not there resulting in no beds for other guests. Entertainment staff during the day work very hard. Requested a assisted room as my gran is 92 and got placed on the 3rd floor. Lifts are a absolute nightmare I would have used the stairs no problem had I not had my gran in the chair. My room was cleaned once in a whole week which is disappointing. Reception and lobby are lovely. Good games room for kids. Alcohol on all inclusive is great even shots available. Shout out to Alexander on the bar.
