The main reason for leaving such a bad score is the hotel. From the moment we arrived, the lobby, reception area and outside, by the bar was filled with drunk people, looking really rough, in such way that we worried for our safety, especially travelling with young children. Our first thought was that we were in the wrong hotel. After checking in we went to our rooms to find out that there was no balcony. It is the first time we travel to a beach destination where there was no balcony, making it impossible to dry our bathing suits. Because we arrived late and missed the dinner, we were told we could go in the restaurant for snacks. The restaurant looked like it's been vandalised with food on the floor and dirty dishes everywhere.
Throughout our holiday we have noticed rough people with their young children weeing from the side of the swimming pool into the pool and also kids, bum naked sitting on the lobby sofas. What was worse is that nobody was doing anything about it, as if it was normal.
On 2 different occasions we noticed police in the lobby questioning people.
The only good things about the place was that the restaurant staff were really pleasant and polite and food was good, air conditioning worked and they were changing towels every day.
We are not the type of tourists who complain that the breakfast is the same every day and there is no English breakfast option on a holiday in Spain, on the contrary, we are quite easy going but this was unacceptable to the fact that we were thinking to ring if it's possible to pay extra to change the hotel from the moment we arrived, but we just got used to the idea that we got conned and tried to make the most of it.

We recently stayed for 9 nights at Hotel Magic Cristal Park with an all-inclusive package. Our initial room had no phone signal, no view, and no hair dryer. However, after speaking with the manager on the second day, she was incredibly kind and responsive. While we had lunch, she resolved everything within 20 minutes and moved us to a much nicer room that had all we needed.
She also explained that the hotel is undergoing renovations, improving room by room. Some may find the style old-fashioned, but that’s part of the hotel's charm—they’re preserving its classic look while upgrading the facilities.
The food was absolutely amazing—many compliments and blessings to the chefs! Great variety, delicious flavors, and consistent quality throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean, and we highly recommend tipping the hardworking housekeeping staff. If you've ever worked in a hotel, you’ll know how tough their job is—they truly deserve recognition.
The location is also a big plus: just two streets away from the beach, making it very convenient. Right below the hotel, there’s a mini-market where you can find pretty much anything you need, and the prices are very fair.
Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend Hotel Magic Cristal Park to anyone looking for a cozy, all-inclusive stay in Benidorm with great service.

We stayed for 4 nights and we had a pleasant stay. The hotel was a bit old and can be busy but every effort has been made to keep the place clean and tidy. The staff are helpful and reasonably friendly. They have an extensive buffet restaurant in 2 floors a bar where the drinks are not watered down as usually happens in some all inclusive hotels. The
hotel has a big swimming pool on the 7th floor and games arcade for the children. Centrally located for the old town and bars and a 5 minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend it if you are a budget conscious holiday maker.

Our room was clean, but that's the only good thing I can say about it. Though even on our check out day, the cleaners were trying to get in at 8.30 even though we can stay in until much later, did not like the fact that we were not out.
The food was barely edible. Can you survive on it, yes, but you don't go all inclusive to barely have anything to eat. With 2 almost teenagers too, I don't think they are going to be trying pigs trotters or dogfish any time soon.
The pool bar is beautiful, it is a massive shame the pool is shaded. The only pool in the sun is the baby pool which is on a different floor. So if we wanted to go in the pool, it's freezing as no sun gets to it.
The bar staff at the pool bad and the magic bar were fab!
It is not really child friendly. No real entertainment on. There is a singer on in the magic bar late evening, and there is the games room (which is great) but don't want the kids inside too much on holiday!
Unfortunately the hotel is packed with some rude and entitled guests. If they know you are english they treat you disgustingly bad.
The hotel does have potential to be nice but from the poor food, dated rooms with old pull out beds making it impossible for kids to get a good night's sleep, rude guests, lack of staff on reception making check in / check out an absolute nightmare, and nothing really for the kids, there isnt much going for it yet. Lesson learned that you really do have to listen to reviews sometimes on a hotel!

Please avoid booking this hotel. You will feel your hard earned money has been robbed. For the price I paid I could have stayed in a much better Hotel, so its not a case of you get what you pay for, more what you don't get for your money.
Entering the hotel is chaotic, ques of Spanish tourists, some of who are just day trips using the facilities are given instant attention. If you're a paying foreign guest, your given a ticket and told to wait in the games room. Waited 97 minutes without an explanation of why we weren't getting checked in. At check-in, there's 3 staff, 1 spoke English. 20 minutes to check you in per guest, I myself am a receptionist so I know very well this should not take this much time.
The 1 lift in the lobby is tiny and fits maybe 4 people without luggage, the other lift has been broken for 2 years.
The Rooms, clean but not deep cleaned, heavy stains on furniture, walls, and the bath. Cracked walls, furniture heavily scratched and chipped, likey over 20 years old. The facilities are just plain terrible. Maybe 20 sun loungers to 400 guests. Tiny indoor pool with 4 tables and 2 chairs per table there. Outside only a kids paddling pool with climbing frame inside and slide. Roof terrace is a mess and dirty.
All inclusive is a joke, no tea or coffee after breakfast. So if you dont drink or like soda based drinks, tough.
Food is very poor quality and the air-conditioning is so high in the restaurants the food is cold. Add to that undercooked meat too. Never any glasses at the drinks machine to get a beer or juice. Trying to get into the restaurant your not getting he lift because 400 other people are using it so 7 flights of stairs later! Every time I tried to go to reception for anything, Spanish guests would be served 1st. I actually complained to reception that they were deliberately allowing Spanish people to jump the que when they saw anyone who wasn't Spanish waiting to speak to them when I was checking out, and the 11 other guests behind me who waited over 20 minutes in the que with me applauded me, and piped up agreeing that this was the case. The receptionist who could speak English suddenly lost the ability to and was answering me in Spanish. For 2 days the water was turned off between 11am and 1pm, for maintenance purposes? No water handed out to guests.
The Hotel Bars, 1 bar man per bar, que is endless. British Bar in the hotel opens 8pm, and is filthy. There were Cockroaches running all over the floor and furniture.
No snacks, supposed to have all inclusive snack bar? No they have 2 storage containers filled with nuts or crisps with a paper plate and shovel.
There's basically bad hotels that are old and in need of maintenance, This Hotel is beyond that, needs closing and re furb top to bottom and re classification to no stars.
