I’m quite conflicted about this place. The ocean view room we booked is the best choice we made. The view is stunning. Everything else has been a disappointment. We are from Canada and are accustomed to staying at amazing resorts across Mexico and the Caribbean
The negatives:
1) We booked a premium suite with ocean view on the 9th floor and paid $2000 for 7 nights (with breakfast only, not all inclusive). The hotel gave us a king bed with two broken spring twin mattresses. We were too tired to deal with it on our first two nights. We called in on our 3rd night, guest services mentioned it would be taken care of immediately. We return after dinner and it still hadn’t been switched. We called to let them know to switch it in the morning as we were going to sleep at 10 pm. At 10:30 pm two men arrive with 1 twin mattress (the bed requires 2 twin mattresses). We then again call in the morning to let them know we’re headed to breakfast and to bring the second mattress, again we had to call in for the 6th time to get it changed.
2) The rooms don’t have irons. You have to call to request for it. The first day the iron arrived within 20 min. The second night we waited for over an hour for the iron, gave up and left to dinner.
3)The pools aren’t heated, which is a shame because the rooftop pool is quite nice. There is no beach, hence they should warm up the pool as it is the highlight of this resort. Something to note, the sun rises on this side of the resort, by 3 pm the sun is no longer directly hitting the pool and gets very cold. You’ll see everyone using loungers and the pool very empty even on sunny days - it’s because the pool is ice cold.
4)Strangely the indoor pool that’s a part of the spa where they have spa music playing is adults only early in the day. In the afternoon until 8 pm, kids are allowed. It gets quite noisy and loud with kids. The steam room is nice but adding a little eucalyptus oil or lemongrass oil would make it more enjoyable as there is strange damp smell.
5) The breakfast buffet is mediocre. The cafe station is great but it’s the same breakfast spread every morning. A little variety would be nice; omelette station, crepes, waffles, etc.
6) We stayed on the 9th floor and the entire time during the day there were loud noises from the floor above - a lot of drilling and furnitures being moved around. We think they are renovating.
7) Housekeeping only switches up towels. They don’t seem to clean the floors or even replace the mugs. The room feels and smells damp. Because there is no air circulation, the towels never dry inside.
8) Evening entertainment needs work.

From the moment I arrived at Qawra Palace Resort and Spa, I was impressed by the beautiful setting, the excellent facilities, and the warm hospitality. The food was amazing too but what truly made my stay unforgettable — and what I will carry with me long after my holiday — is the incredible entertainment team. In particular, Roger, who deserves every word of praise I can possibly offer and more.
Roger is, quite simply, the heart and soul of the entertainment at Qawra Palace. His energy is absolutely infectious — from the very first evening show, you can feel the passion he pours into every performance, every dance, every interaction. Whether he’s on stage dazzling the crowd with his talent or mingling with guests and making everyone feel welcome, Roger radiates a kind of light that draws people in.
What sets Roger apart isn’t just his skill as a performer (though he is exceptional in every way — talented, confident, and consistently engaging). It’s the genuine joy he brings with him. You can tell he loves what he does. And that love is contagious. He gives 110% night after night, with tireless energy and unwavering enthusiasm. Watching him perform is a reminder of how much impact one person’s passion can have on others.
But beyond the stage, Roger is one of the kindest, sweetest, and most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met. He goes out of his way to make everyone feel seen and appreciated. Whether you’re a returning guest or it’s your first night, Roger will remember your face, greet you with a warm smile, and make you feel like part of the Qawra Palace family. He’s the kind of person who brings people together — and many of the best memories I’ve made on this trip are thanks to the atmosphere he helped create.
The entire entertainment team deserves credit as well — they work so hard to put on a diverse range of shows that are fun, lively, and engaging for all ages. Every evening is something different, whether it's themed nights, games, dance parties, or live performances. It’s clear how much thought and effort goes into planning and executing these events, and the team’s chemistry really shines through.
Still, there’s no denying that Roger is a standout. He elevates the entertainment experience from “great” to “unforgettable.” I honestly cannot imagine the Qawra Palace without him — he embodies everything that makes this place so special. He’s not just an entertainer; he’s a storyteller, a motivator, and a genuine soul who brings happiness wherever he goes.
If you’re considering staying at Qawra Palace, do it. And when you go, make sure to catch the evening shows — you’ll be treated not only to top-quality entertainment but also to the magic that is Roger. Thank you, Roger, for making this holiday so special. Your energy, passion, and kindness have left a lasting impression.
I’ll be back — and I hope to see you again soon!

Just come back from a week here.
Our family room was amazing had a jet spa tub in it great hit with the kids.
Food was good. It's all inclusive very much the same which is what you would expect never went hungry good variety. Drinks were also good one of the best all inclusive hotels we have been too. Location is good quite close to everything. Friendly staff great entertainment! Can't fault it.

Had a great holiday here. We were upgraded to a sea view room with stunning views! Good breakfast buffet, we didn't do all inclusive so can't comment on dinner but service was excellent. The Spa was lovely and the rooftop pool was really fab. Enjoyed our stay a lot.

Room layout is nice however there is a constant smell of mould/dampness in the room. The floor in the room was not swept for our whole stay. The shower head comes flying off if you put the shower on full. On the last day just before your flight, they take off the all inclusive wristbands and so you’re not allowed any food or drink until your flight as they put temporary yellow wristbands on, which just allow you to stay in the hotel buildings and use the pool. There was also a lot of people who on several days, got into the hotel and was on the top floor pool area without a hotel wristband, which they were escorted out.
