This Hyatt was a wonderful choice for a girls trip. As soon as we pulled up to the resort we were greeted by an extremely friendly staff, and beautiful grounds. Christian checked us in, and was incredibly helpful for the duration of our trip. We were 3 in a room, and the resort provided a very comfortable third bed for us at no cost rolled into the room. There were a huge variety of activities each day, including karaoke, trampoline exercise, water aerobics, Zumba, and various crafts. At night, the gymnasts who performed were out of this world, as well as very talented musicians. Gabby and Benjamin from the entertainment team were so encouraging and provided a great deal of fun and energy. The pool was very warm, and the hot tub was nice and large. There were plenty of food choices for those from the most adventurous to the most picky. You could either make reservations at any of the on-site restaurants, or hit up the buffet. Not ideal, but you will see some raccoons out by the pool, but in truth they do not ruin the experience at all (we were scared when we saw them mentioned in other reviews), so don’t let that stop you from coming and enjoying. Overall, this is a beautiful and fun resort suitable for friends or couples to enjoy.

A great resort with many luxury amenities. Rooms are well appointed and we appreciated the stocked fridge, jacuzzi tub, balcony and prompt room service. Wonderful dining options, especially Dolma and Asiana, with Spice offering great, varied food selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff throughout the resort were so personable and accommodating. The main lobby server, Roberto, deserves special mention as their best ambassador. His engagement and service approach were extraordinary. Overall, a wonderful destination with a lot on offer.

We recently stayed at this resort for 10 days, and one of the absolute highlights of our stay was the Asiana restaurant. Chef Carlos Gomez is incredibly talented, and every dish he prepared was not only beautifully presented but full of flavour and creativity. The quality and consistency of the food truly stood out throughout our visit.
What made the experience even more special was Chef Carlos himself. He was extremely friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about his craft.
The Asiana restaurant quickly became a must-visit for us during our stay, and much of that is thanks to Chef Carlos Gomez and his exceptional culinary skills. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone staying at the resort.

This is our 4th time staying here and first time since it changed to Hyatt. The location is fantastic as well as the resort itself. The entertainment staff are good and they have fun activities. The cleaning and wait staff is amazing as well but unfortunately we will not be returning because the food and drink quality has definitely gone downhill. The first night we were there they were grilling fresh meats but they wanted us to pay $180 to eat it. If you did not pay the $180 for the fresh food you had to eat the buffet which consisted of what tasted like reheated meats in stews and sauces. $90 a person for grilled meats seems crazy! My daughter and I actually left our entire plate of food as it was not edible. Picture below is the thai shrimp bowl but with chicken from the barefoot grab and go area. It was awful. We all got sick from eating the food as well. All areas poolside for sitting are associated with the cabana and they charge $90-180 for the day to use them. The seats that are free are in various areas behind those that cost money. I did feel that the employees were really trying to get us to upsell. Not the wait staff but the cabana people. The guys in blue and maroon shirts. The wait staff were very hard workers. It was unfortunate as I have often recommended this hotel but I will not be able to in the future unless there are improvements made to the food. I also felt there was a lot of pushing to upcharge from the all inclusive amounts already paid. Why are they not cooking fresh seafood instead of tilapia aren't we on the ocean?? My daughter ordered fish at Pelicanos and it was a whole fish which looked promising but it was all dried out and in edible. It's a bummer because it is a beautiful resort so hopefully they get things figured out.

I’ve been to close to 40 different resorts all over the Caribbean. This one rates in my top five. I can’t say a bad thing about any part of our stay. A special thanks goes out to the manager, Erik Foies for taking extra care of us and going up and beyond making our stay perfect. I’d also like to give a special shout out to the manager on duty, Cristina, who was so incredibly polite and helpful.
