Moreover, Chef Carlo went above and beyond to entertain us, skillfully juggling knives and engaging with everyone at the table, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and joy.
Complementing the culinary excellence was the impeccable service provided by Waitress Elizabeth. With prompt service and attention to detail, she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask.

Darinel Gomez and Edgar Hernandez were wonderful. They made every breakfast a great experience. Wonderful and intuitive, they brought us everything we wanted without us even having to ask. Their service was superb!

We spend a lot of time at the Mall Bar in Barceló Caribe, Valerio Dzib was absolutely amazing and his drinks were fantastic and so friendly!! Definitely watch for this guy, his espresso martinis were to die for!! 😍
On the down side, very disappointed with the service of Barceló themselves and their lack of communication and being able to provide the amenities you initially booked. 4 of our rooms that were booked at tropical and colonial were changed on us and not given any notice to this. We arrived and were notified they had changed our resorts completely on us because we had not stayed here before and we were downgraded. Disgusted in that treatment for the price that was paid would not go back for that reason.

Very large servings, we ordered the Gnocchi, Calzone and a Stromboli. Fantastic food. Our server Benjamin was on top of everything, very fast service. The salad bar was pretty awesome too. We had Caesar salad, Russian salad and some shrimp. Thumbs-up all-around, we would recommend to anyone.
The main buffet was super awesome. Our Servers Darinel Gomez and Edgar Hernandez were very attentive and super fast with our drinks and table service. Darinel really made our 11 year old feel special and inclusive to the conversations. If we could give more stars we would. We are really going to miss the resort and the awesome staff. We are already thinking about when we want to come back. Thank you to all who made our family trip so memorable.

Don't use the Spa, it's overpriced and underwhelming. Be careful in your room, make sure you have socks or slippers on, easy to slip on wet/moist floor tiles. Amazing room service, super friendly staff, decent food options at all buffets, nice experience at restaurants. Great options for kids (pools are not heated), very nice beach with fish and other marine life to see while snorkeling. Very decent gym. Enough entertainment options for kids and adults.
