This was our second visit to Grand Sirenis, and we chose to get married here. Since our last visit in 2019, the hotel has undergone extensive cosmetic renovation and they've done a fantastic job. The rooms are more of a "soft renovation" of just paint. The grounds & shared areas (including toilets) were always immaculate and honestly couldn't fault. Our wedding coordinator Claudia was amazing start to finish & our day went perfectly to plan! I would highly recommend this resort & we can't wait to return! :)

I recently stayed at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa, and unfortunately, the experience was largely disappointing.
While I’ll start by saying the food was quite nice, that’s about the only positive I can confidently mention. The staff was generally unhelpful, making the overall atmosphere feel unwelcoming from the start. Our room was in poor condition—there was visible damage in the bathroom, malfunctioning electrical outlets, and sliding doors that didn’t work properly. For a resort of this supposed standard, that’s simply unacceptable.
Trying to make reservations at the à la carte restaurants was frustrating. The system is unclear, and you often don’t even receive confirmation, leaving you unsure whether you’ll be able to dine or not.
One of the most frustrating aspects was the stark difference in treatment between VIP guests and regular ones. It felt like two completely different resorts—the level of service and attention VIPs receive is far superior, which only makes regular guests feel overlooked and undervalued.
In summary, this resort needs serious improvement in both its guest service and room maintenance. I strongly recommend management to check the staff’s attitude, inspect rooms more thoroughly, and improve the restaurant booking process. Until then, I would not recommend staying here—there are much better options in Riviera Maya for the same price.

Amazing resort. Normally, food at an all-inclusive is nominal, at best, but theirs has been fantastic! There is plenty of beach so it doesn't matter what time of day you go out, you can always find a chair. The pools are wonderful, the spa, excellent. The staff are absolutely 💯 amazing. They are all friendly & helpful. The rooms are a little older, but very comfortable. Beautiful views everywhere. We go on these timeshare trips all the time and 99% of the time it's easy to say "no" as we already own two we love & use but this place has so much to offer we did buy their package. We will now make this our place when we come down to Riviera Maya.

Very disappointed and were only on day 1. Kept us waiting in the heat. Said everyone was in a meeting. Only had 15 minutes or less in buffet as it was closing and we hadn't eaten since 4am. Couldn't get anyone to wait on us for a soda. Safe didn't work the phone next to bed didn't work. Shuttles are hard to get. We've been to many Resorts and don't think we'll be back here.

Really nice food. Really nice staff. The rooms are also really nice with modern, touch sensitive switches for all the controls.
Except for the bathroom, which is motion sensitive. This sounds nice until you have a bath. I like to read in the bath so after a couple of minutes the light goes out so you then need to start frantically waving your arms to get the light to come back on. However, we are staying in a junior suite with a jacuzzi - which isn't working. So it takes an age to fill, you can't relax because of the lights, and you don't get the benefit of the jacuzzi. Grrrr.
Another small negative...there is no kettle, only a coffee percolator.
And not many English channels on the TV.
