We came to celebrate my cousin renewing her wedding vows (she got married here too) we have had a fabulous time, there is nothing I could say negative about this place, the food has been amazing ( there is buffet, as well as alacarte restaurants) the staff all go beyond to make sure your experience is the best. It is an all inclusive hotel, but the level of the food drink and service is amazing. There is entertainment at the pools and theatre is just fun. And Joy, who did the entertainment at our pool, was jut that..:..: a joy, full of energy and fun. My cousins wedding planner was wonderful too, we had such a special day.
We will definitely be coming back again .
Thank you to all that makes this place so special ❤️

We stayed at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya for five days and five nights (three people), and it was an excellent experience. This was my second time at the hotel—the first was about seven years ago—and the difference is huge. The hotel has clearly been upgraded and refurbished; while it’s not brand new, the rooms are very spacious and feel modern and comfortable.
The food really stood out. For an all-inclusive resort, the quality is impressive, especially the Mexican food. Even at the buffets (not just the specialty restaurants), you can find authentic, well-prepared Mexican dishes. For the price, the value is honestly very good—we truly felt like we got our money’s worth.
The beach is nice, and a unique highlight is the small Mayan ruin located within the hotel grounds, which adds something special to the experience. There are two main pools: a lively pool with a swim-up bar and a quieter pool that’s absolutely amazing if you want to relax.
The resort is full of lush vegetation, and you’ll see plenty of animals throughout the property, which makes it feel very natural and beautiful. Overall, it’s a stunning place, great value, and I would definitely recommend it.

Got back from 2 weeks at this amazing resort. We were put off by some negative ones before we went and we are so glad we did go.
Check in was smooth with a welcome drink took about 10 mins before the shuttle took us to our room. Great service from the shuttles all holiday.
The room was stunning, so clean and the bath was so good. The bathroom was a little dated in places but this didn’t bother us, couple new tiles and a bit of paint and it would be perfect. We had a pool view in block 29.
The food was incredible, both buffets, snack bars, themed restaurants and the Black Sheep. Very tasty food managed to get into 4 restaurants no problem, Carnal, Butchers, the Mediterranean and the Italian. All lovely food with a great service.
All the pools were really nice, we stayed around the Prana pool most as it was outside our room but we did a day at the Aura, and a couple day at the quiet pool too. Really good laugh around the party pools and the entertainment was top notch.
The beach was also really nice we did a couple days here and often came for lunch at the BBQ which was incredible. The bars again really good drinks and a great service.
All of the bars were brilliant, the lobby cocktail bars and the rooftop was our favourite. Evening entertainment was good and the waiter service was top notch.
We seen all sorts of wildlife which was amazing, Monkeys, Coatis, Racoon’s, and many reptiles and birds aswell as fish in the sea. Amazing to see so many different ones.
Overall we had a great time here and would 100% return, met some great people from all over the world, up there with one of the best places we’ve been. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, the whole grounds were spotless and it looked stunning at night.
Also the sunbed situation. We were getting up and getting a bed everyday between 9-10 no problem at all. We even got up later one day as we went to Coco Bongo the night before and managed to get one at 11am no problem.
Don’t let any bad reviews put you off, I get some people’s experience may be different to others but ours was an amazing stay.

I was impressed with the grounds of this resort, but my room was mildewy, and my clothes smell horrible even after coming home. I was hung up on by concierge twice. When I got through, the hotel was full so unfortunately there was nothing they could do.
if deciding to go here, I would pay extra to get a higher end room and ensure that it is on a top floor or in one of the remodeled buildings. Even after running the air conditioning and airing the room out, it was just as mildewy as the day we got there.
That being said, the beach and the pools and the service were excellent! I guess you get what you pay for! We ended up staying here for a pretty reasonable price and would consider doing it again just knowing that we would have to make some sacrifices with the room.
Food definitely left something to be desired. Ice cream closes at 10 so there was no way to get ice cream after the entertainment which I thought was odd. We did Carnal as our only à la carte and the food was pretty bad. We ended up leaving before the show was over and would have been better off at the buffet. But the show was interesting! We just wanted to eat before the buffet closed.

Lovely big rooms with huge bed. Communal areas always very clean. Food in the buffet really nice but it is usually very noisy. Service in the restaurants great and the food in the individual restaurants was excellent. Slight issue with the replenishing of tea, coffee, washing of cups in our room which was an ongoing issue and a bit of a pain. Consierge on our room block very helpful and friendly. Take small peso notes $20/25 to give as tips. Bring your own straws as they don't offer them. An hour's drive by coach from the airport.
