Very disappointing experience. I’ve been to several resorts and this has been the worse. The rooms are super outdated and are in need for a serious renovation. The bathrooms have broken titles.
The service is the worst. If you ask the staff for something their first response is no. Getting reservations at the a la carte restaurants is nearly impossible. Although we were allowed only 2 for a 4 night stay, we managed to get reservations for 1 restaurant only. We didn’t get any service at the beach. The only way to get any service is if you tip the servers before asking for something. The bell boy didn’t show up when we asked for one.
All the amenities are spread out across all the 5 -6 resorts and it is a hike to get from one resort to another. It’s more of a 3 star resort.

A great experience overall. The beach here is beautiful. Plenty of seating at pools. Staff was lovely. Gluten free girlies listen up! I had breakfast each morning at the Beach Buffet, and Selene was always our server. She got me made to order gluten free pancakes and waffles each morning. She was SO nice and fun to be around. We found all of the staff to be wonderful here and had a great time.

The room is OK but bathroom kinda gross, its really old and you can see mold on the ceiling. Staff is sometimes really friendly (buffet or grill) but really seem to not care at the front desk or even at the pool bars. One of the a la carte restaurant was full all week so we couldn’t try it and all the restaurants were full the first two days of our trip so we only had 3 restaurants instead of 4. Also all the restaurants want you to order really quickly, even the desert. Best restaurant is tokio, the food was really good. Buffet is big you can easily find something you like. The beach was beautiful but not enough chairs, there is place to have a lot more and people all get up early to reserve them. Resort is big and was almost full when we were there but it was really calm. It’s a little far from the Cancún airport (1h30). The gym is big and really clean!

Selene Zurita at the buffet has been INCREDIBLE during our stay! The most attentive, hardworking, proactive and kind waitress I've ever had the pleasure to have. She sees so many people in a day, and still remembered our faces and drink orders. She gives amazing recommendations on the drinks and even explains what's in them! Thank you for making our trip so fun and always serving with care and a lovely smile! 🩷

We just got back from our tip at Maya beach (Nov 2-9) I found the hotel to be lovely and clean. The rooms were quite small for a family of 4 but that was our only issue while staying here. Selena and Faustina at the beach buffet were amazing and always took care of us during our meal times. The food selection was mediocre. It would have been nice to have more authentic Mexican cuisine.
The beach was incredible, always clean and free of seaweed. We really enjoyed swimming with the dolphins in the dolphinarium! All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be visiting again!
