Our stay was very calm, food was great and delicious. Favorite was the Al Mare restaurant. Front staff were very attentive and helpful Cynthia and Julia answered any questions we had and provided awesome service. The hotel was a calm vibe with a great rooftop pool. Rooms were clean and spacious with great balconies. Recommend for a calm stay to recharge

Let me tell you, this place is absolutely the best place I've ever had the privilege of visiting. The valley, the front desk, the room service, the waiters and waitresses..... They ALL are TOP QUALITY! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this resort! Thank you to EVERYONE, but especially Carlos, Hair, Christina, and Valeria! All of you helped make this the absolute best time of my life. I'm sad to go! But know, I will be back ❤️❤️

Check-in: 3/5 stars
We arrived around 1:00pm and asked about an early check-in. The staff took all our information, gave us wristbands, and collected a deposit on our credit card, so we assumed our room would be ready. But they told us it wasn't ready yet. They said we could use the facilities while we waited, but we decided to take a walk into town and spent some time at a nearby beach bar. When we returned at 2:30pm, the room was still not ready. It wasn’t until exactly 3:00pm that we were finally allowed to go to our room.
Room: 4.5/5 stars
We stayed in Room 207, which overlooked the street. It was spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed, a sofa, a table and chairs, a kitchenette, and a balcony. The TV had many English-language channels, and the room was quiet - we slept soundly through the night. The mini-fridge was stocked with soda, water, and beer. Coffee pods were provided, though the coffee maker only brewed about a shot’s worth at a time.
The bathroom was large, with double sinks and a rain shower head that had plenty of hot water. My only complaint is that although there was a kitchenette, there were no utensils. Not a huge issue, but we brought leftovers back one night and had to eat them with our fingers.
Pool Area: 4/5 stars
There are two pools—one on the rooftop and one by the beach. We didn’t use either, but both looked very nice.
Food: 4/5 stars
We only had drinks at the rooftop bar. Prices were a bit high for Mexico, but the atmosphere made it worthwhile.
Location: 4/5 stars
The hotel is beautiful and well-located, just a 15-minute walk to the center of town. Puerto Morelos has many great restaurants within walking distance.
Staff: 5/5 stars
Everyone who worked at the hotel was friendly, hardworking, and always had a smile. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at The Fives Oceanfront! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—huge thanks to Luis, Cristina, and Gus for being so warm, friendly, and helpful. The resort has a boutique feel, is beautifully maintained, and offers modern, clean rooms with stunning beachfront just steps away.
The à la carte food was consistently delicious, and we loved how close the resort was to local shops and restaurants—it made exploring the area on their complimentary bikes so easy and fun. We also took advantage of the many on-site activities, like yoga, bracelet making, macramé, and even soap making, which added a fun and creative touch to our stay.
They also helped us book some great excursions, making it a well-rounded, stress-free vacation. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with great food, beautiful surroundings, and a touch of local culture, this is the place!

A nice hotel with mostly helpful staff. Clean and peaceful, in a good location, close to the town. There's a bunch of small things that chip away at a great rating for this place, like the lack of straws for cocktails (being 'eco-friendly'), over crowded restaurants and the lobby bar always appearing empty / without service. Since the restaurants are usually always full / require a wait, a bar with places to sit (enough for the volume of people there, would be great). The lack of welcome drink and no full menu at the rooftop bar are disappointing too (despite a full menu being online). Food was OK - sometimes it was amazing, hot and flavourful - other times it was cold/burnt/returned. We visited for 5 nights in the middle of a Mexico City trip and the hotel served its purpose as a quiet place to relax, but it could have been better.
