Our family of 4 have loved our time at The Fives hotel celebrating our son’s 21st birthday - everything has been perfect. Staff at the hotel are so helpful and can’t do enough to ensure that everyone is having a great time and is being well looked after. The pool activities have been great - Daniela, Cam & Eddie were great fun and had everyone laughing in and around the pool. The evening entertainment has been great and very varied, my daughter and I loved the Disney themed night! My son and husband spent many an hour each day at the swim up bar at the Lizzards pool! All the bar staff were great, Geramias, Jorge & Noe were really friendly and fun to chat to.
Our favourite restaurant was the Koh Tai although all eateries were superb with lots of choices available.
Our accommodation was great and the location of our apartment was ideal - we stayed in villa 8 over looking the pool, just perfect!
We’re very sad to be leaving and will definitely be back soon!

A bit late for my comment, but it is worth sharing.
We visited during Mexico’s National Celebration Week on September 16th, 2025. That entire week was truly a wonderful experience—the service was impeccable, the restaurants and their cuisine were exceptional, and the activities organized for youth, adults, and children were outstanding.
The evening entertainment provided by Daniela and Camilo was excellent, especially the Mexican Independence celebration on the beach. It was lively, fun, and featured great music. We enjoyed it very much with our family, friends, and even with people we didn’t know; everyone came together to dance and enjoy such a memorable moment.
Negative Points:
My wife and I accepted an informational session, which was estimated to last “one hour,” in order to receive certain benefits offered if we were interested in purchasing the membership promoted within the hotel, as well as a complimentary beach bed for the day.
Unfortunately, that “one-hour” session extended into four hours (half the morning). I understand the position of a salesperson who aims to understand their client and gather as much information as possible to make a sale; however, when this salesperson received a “NO” from us or was told that we were “NOT interested,” his attitude and comments became quite aggressive and very uncomfortable.
He asked and made several inappropriate and disparaging remarks. I suppose he was attempting to unsettle us so we would fall into pressure and purchase the membership. I remained composed and tried to leave as quickly as possible without providing any evaluation of him because at that moment, I did not feel well, and finally I forgot it
Being there should not imply an obligation to purchase such a membership, and two other families with whom we discussed the issue shared the same perception.
Aside from the point mentioned above, it was an unforgettable vacation and a wonderful place. Thank you very much!

From the location, to the food, to the staff, this place is spectacular. The Fives is located on the beach with multiple pools scattered throughout. We stayed for a week and did not have one bad meal during our time there. The staff was so attentive and caring, I would like to give a special shoutout to Yaremi, Oscar and Esteban. My daughter had an ear issue and Yaremi was able to find us kids ear plugs. She is very kind and attentive. Oscar at the sushi restaurant made our night with his balloon animals. Esteban at the Thai place was able to relocate us to a common area when my daughter was getting overwhelmed. Overall it was a great trip and I highly recommend staying here.

I recently stayed at The Fives Beach Hotel & Residences and had such a great experience. Everyone there was super welcoming and always happy, which made the whole place feel full of good energy. The hotel has an app for food and activities, which made everything really easy to book and keep track of.
We tried the temazcal and it was 100% worth it. We also had dance lessons with Camilo. He was patient, full of genuine energy, and honestly made us feel really welcome every time we saw him around the resort.
We really enjoyed our stay and would def recommend. Great vibes, great staff, and a really relaxing experience.

This is our second time at the Fives. We had a really great vacation with family. They have a great entertainment team (Daniela, Camilo) and kids club. There is lots of activities for everyone. Their beachfront is very nice and lots of loungers. Food is outstanding, and so much to choose from! Our favourite was the Italian restaurant but the Mexican night in the plaza was very special too. The pizza is actually better than home ❤️
