Victor our host and Celeste at the spa along with Alexia at the beach bar and Edwin in th sushi restaurant were all awesome and kind.
The resort is excellent- being able to make a reservation for dinner would have been a great add and having a different playlist for music each night at the plaza and the beach bar during the day would be a great improvement too!
Other than that - the sea and beach are wonderful- book a Bali bed for the week- totally with it. The shade in the trees at the beach is so relaxing.
Do the Ruta Maya excursion to the Ruins in Tulum, the caves and snorkeling with sea turtles. This is a must do experience.
Would highly recommend- and will likely go back at some point.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Fives Beach Hotel in Playa Del Carmen, and I can't praise it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the resort. Every area was absolutely spotless, which made my experience even more enjoyable.
The food and service were truly five-star. The variety and quality of the dining options exceeded my expectations, and every meal was a delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and courteous, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a fantastic experience.
One of the highlights of my stay was the NRG2GO Fitness classes. I particularly loved the yoga and Pilates sessions led by the extremely thoughtful and talented Shyla Hacala. Her expertise and passion for fitness made each class both enjoyable, restorative and rewarding.
Overall, my stay at The Fives Beach Hotel was nothing short of amazing. I can't wait to return and relive this wonderful experience! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway in Playa Del Carmen.

We came with family to celebrate a Senior graduating high school this year. We had a wonderful time! The resort is immaculately maintained, with lots of options for poolside fun. There is an incredible walking path through the jungle that is magical at night. We had a suite with a rooftop cold water jacuzzi and plenty of places to lounge. We even had a visit from a large family of monkeys who joined in on the roof one evening. But the best thing about the Fives is the staff. They are warm, kind, friendly and helpful. We will be going back!

I had my wedding here April 19, 2025. When I first started searching for locations to celebrate my big day, I came across the fives. I read previous reviews and I soon connected with a sales rep to further discuss pricing and inclusions. After our first conversation, my fiancé and I knew this was location for us. The process was very hands on, Valeria was our intital sales rep. She stayed in contact with us for months via teams, email and phone calls. 2 weeks prior to the wedding is when the magic happened. We were connected with Mar, and Max. Mar and Max was our wedding coordinators. Mar is extremely intelligent, extremely organized, thorough and she remembers the details. There were times I called Mar with extreme anxiety and needing support on navigating unexpected challenges. Mar stopped what she was doing, located me on the property spoke to me with kindness, solved the issue immediately even if it included adding upper level management, Juliana. They made sure I never lost focus on what was most important, they never allowed me to linger in any unexpected challenges (weather, shipments not arriving) . They worked last minute , and overtime whatever it took to get the job done. My wedding day was a dream, Max stayed with me. Max and team helped assemble my wedding dress. They made sure my dress was spread out correctly while I walked down the aisle. Max and Mar checked in with me throughout the stay, during the wedding and made sure my guest had the best experience. Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful if you don’t have the right team of people in your corner. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life. Thank you Julianna, for holding my hand before I walked down the aisle. Thank you for reminding me to breath and take in my moment. Mar and Max you are fairy wedding angels that sprinkled everything as close to perfection as it could get. You helped bring the dream wedding I always envisioned as a little girl to life. I had my Cinderella moment with you both at my side. This resort is gorgeous, the food deserves a Michelin star. I did wish their was a hip hop dance lounge, with more of a party vibe for adults..but none the less all my guests enjoyed their stay. I highly recommend this location, if anyone is looking to have a wedding.

We have now stayed at The Fives 3 times and it's been a present relaxing stay everytime! We stayed with 9 people and the process of checking in and out was a breeze! The staff was friendly and welcoming! Everyone you walked past said hello! As well as one of the night we ate at Flavours one of the waiters was making balloons animals for the kids! They loved that! The shows at night were fun to see and experience! Some past reviews have comments of adding pricing to things like the ice cream, they have free flavors that are included in your stay. We didn't care, those flavors were just as yummy! As well as room service delivery of 4 dollars, we only used it one time so it wasn't as big of a deal as past reviews are making it. We are already looking forward to planning our next trip!
