We had an amazing time at Dreams Resort, and it truly exceeded all expectations. As a chef from Chicago, I was especially impressed with the culinary experience. Chef Francisco really made us feel like VIPs. Not only did he go out of his way to ensure we were enjoying our meals, but the quality of the food was outstanding. He even took the time to come out and chat with us during dinner one night, which was a personal touch that really stood out.
Additionally, Hugo and Manuel at the Patio restaurant were exceptional. Their service was above and beyond, making sure that we had everything we needed and more. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our experience even more special.
All in all, the resort's staff, especially the chefs and service team, created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Had the most wonderful time at dreams Tulum!! The service here is impeccable, the people are wonderful. My partner and I felt taken care of all week. Edgar is incredible! He works so hard and made us feel welcome every time he saw us absolute friendly vibes every day. The employees here work hard to make you feel like you are on vacation. Amazing people, amazing service! Recommend dreams to anyone looking to have a great vacation.

Great view of the water, staff very responsive, got to extend our stay since it was a great beach area during seaweed wash-up season all elsewhere. Room 2503 great view south end of beach, great sunrise view, excellent sunset view, quality of room is outdated but kept neatly under control, not fancy, but will balance itself out by relaxing at the beach or pool area, enjoying fish tacos at the sports bar, or eating out at the buffet.

We had an exceptional stay at Dreams Tulum Resort. The service was impeccable and highly professional. A HUGE THANK YOU TO LIDI, who truly made our experience even more special. I have stayed in many hotels in my life, but I have never met someone as smiling, kind, and caring as her.
The hotel itself is incredible, with outstanding facilities. Our room was spacious, featuring a very comfortable King-size bed. Everything was perfectly clean and well-maintained.
Thank you to the entire Dreams Tulum team for this unforgettable stay. We will definitely be back!

This resort — and its network of scammers, including those operating at the airport — scammed my family while traveling with our 4-year-old. One of the hotel’s so-called associates, JAVIER CAZAREZ, approached us at the airport disguised as a representative of Air Canada, which is the travel package provider we booked with. He told us that several excursions, including a trip to Tulum, were included in our package. All we had to do was cover the tax, which wasn’t much — it seemed legitimate.
Excited, we booked the Tulum trip with him. He assured us that transportation, breakfast, and lunch were all included and that a taxi would pick us up the next morning.
The next day, the taxi arrived right on time. The driver talked enthusiastically about all the fun activities we’d do in Tulum — but instead of taking us to the ruins, he dropped us off at Dreams Tulum Resort. There, we were told we were just stopping in for breakfast.
It turns out, there was NO Tulum trip. This was nothing more than a setup for a high-pressure sales pitch disguised as a “90-minute breakfast and tour.” We were already upset but figured we’d at least eat before leaving. What followed was a relentless, 3-4 hour presentation with a woman who interrogated us with invasive personal questions and aggressively tried to push their scam offer.
By noon, we were furious. One of our 7 vacation days had been completely hijacked. This experience didn’t just ruin a day — it soured our entire trip.
We will NEVER book with this resort, nor will we ever stay at any Hyatt property in the future. And sadly, this experience has left such a bad taste in our mouths that WE DON'T PLAN TO RETURN TO MEXICO EITHER.
