We’ve stayed at the Dolphin Resort a few times now, including once during a hurricane, and every single visit has been incredible. The level of service is absolutely amazing—during the storm, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel safe, cared for, and comfortable. Their professionalism and kindness made a potentially stressful situation feel like a cozy retreat.
The location is perfect—being able to walk to EPCOT or take the Friendship Boats to Hollywood Studios makes park access so easy and enjoyable. And the food? Chef’s kiss! The dining options are top-notch and there’s something for everyone.
Huge thank you to the entire Dolphin staff for always making our stays so memorable. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Parking: apparently they have two lots. It seemed like due to an event, they closed the second parking lot and left the smaller parking lot open only. They were making the guest park at the swam or pay for valet. Valet was allowed to park on the second lot this morning before 11. Kind of unfair if you ask me. Someone mentioned they were opening the second lot to the rest of the public today.
Arrival: excellent customer service from the valet and front desk.
Rooms: old and outdated. Room smells like a wet dog stayed here. Room was clean . The bathroom situation is horrible. The door only opens half way . I think I was upgraded to the worse room ever but hey an upgrade is an upgrade. It makes me wonder what the non upgrade was. Oh try to request a room in the middle of the hotel or the east wing. Do not stay in the west wing.
Shower time ( 30 minutes ago): imagine arriving to your room and get in the shower. When you are soaked, you find out the shampoo bottle is empty and the shower gel almost depleted. Not a pretty picture. I am staying here for more than one night but this means I have to now request from the front desk for them to refill my bottle . Something I shouldn’t have to do .
Hotel Location : perfect location . You can walk to the boardwalk. You can take the boat to Epcot or Hollywood studios. If you are going to magic kingdom, walk to the boardwalk and take the bus from there to avoid multiple stops and transfers .
Day 2: the smell of the room is still awful . I was able to get some shower gel !

This is a nice hotel 🏨 location is what it truly has going for it. The lobby is beautiful and the bar is very good, staffed with good bar tenders. The rooms are nice, clean, and safe. The carpets in the hallways are a bit worn, a path is clearly visible. The only thing that I truly did not like is when it was time to leave, I went to get a luggage cart and was told I could not get one, they would have to do it, I said nevermind, I'll do it myself, just like when I came in. When Marriott asked me to review our stay, this was my complaint. I received a nice email from the front desk manager stating they were a Deluxe Property and the bell carts are handled exclusively by the bell service team. Interesting, not one of them offered to help me when I was unloading my wife, her wheelchair, and our bags. I had to do that on my own also. The only moment I received after unloading my wife wheelchair was for the keys to our car.
This is a nice place to visit, great location, but there are other hotels in the area with good locations also. One and done.

Great resort choice! The location can't be beat, close to Epcot and Hollywood studios and a short bus ride to the Animal Kingdom. Not convenient to get to Magic Kingdom, but it isn't tricky hard.
Rooms are clean and updated. Guest services are friendly and responsive! They provided a free room upgrade because it was my honeymoon, it was a nice surprise. Restaurants in the resort are awesome! The Fuel provides great small meals and snacks at a reasonable price.
Highly recommend the Dolphin, while the Swan is nice, the Dolphin had better restaurants, IMHO.

An odor of mildew and cigarettes greet you as you enter the lobby. A bar in the center of the lobby sets the tone...Think Las Vegas vibes...
You'll pay a $50 a day resort fee for pools full of drunks; and a $38 parking fee; this adds up to another $100 per day on top of the room rate.
I regret my choice of staying here. Loud construction noises at Shula’s, starts at 7am. We were not advised of this inconvenience at check-in.
Yes, it’s close to The Boardwalk, but that’s its singular benefit. The Dolphin and Swan are owned/operated by Marriott, do not expect Disney level service. Also, do not pay extra for a balcony, they are very small and not worth the price.
Also, BEWARE! The parking lot was Full when we arrived (remember the $38 per day fee), parking is NOT guaranteed.
I showed the attendant our handicap permit and we were allowed in; however, that was pure luck. People stalk the lot for a space...
After factoring in fees, I'd stay at a Disney owned resort.
