Just got back from a family stay here. We were pleasantly surprised how large our room was. But the "queen double size beds" were very tiny. There is no way these beds are queens for I couldn't even sleep with my 10 year old in the bed. We kept elbowing each other all night even though we are both fairly slim. I can't imagine a heavier set person sleeping here cause you will be rolling off the bed!
When i asked for a roll out bed since TWO adults absolutely CANNOT fit in this tiny sized bed, we were told no roll aways in our room. I was furious. It made the situation very uncomfortable and an adult ended up sleeping on the floor!
House keeper came once. Did not give us any clean towels. Had to call each time. She didn't even fill the shampoo/conditioner bottles and had to find out the hard way.
Had a horrible incident with the front desk when they didn't want to let my mother up into the room. Her key wasn't work and when she went downstairs to notify them, they refused her a new key. Said only I'm allowed, but I was in a park all day. Thus, my parents got locked out of the room the whole day until late at night.
Pool was great. No complaints. Restaurant downstairs had good food. Bar upstairs had lovely music. And the location was good.
But would not go back here or recommend with such tiny beds and minimal maid service.

The location is great and walking distance to Disney Springs. The pool area was spacious. The property itself is dated and they don’t spray or manage the mosquitoes. The staff were VERY friendly at all points on the property (except the self service eating area on the first floor). I stayed in a tower room and the elevators worked fine, the room was clean. The bed is SUPER HARD so it was very uncomfortable. Great hot shower. Refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Ice machine in each floor. The bar food by the pool was average hotel fare. Overall good value for what I paid. The self service parking is a hike so be prepared.

Room was good, a little noisy as it was near the entrance so be aware of that when you book a room. I'm not sure how many times someone needs to hit the lock button to make it chirp but it seems more than once is to many :-). The pool area was amazing, lazy river was awesome, the main pool was heated which was great. My only complaint of the stay, Citrus 28, you had 5 people behind the counter on Sat and one register open with a line around the corner. I get that it's post pandemic but come on, 5 people? It's not like they had orders backing up. I don't get it.

We spend 3 days, 4 nights here for Spring break.
Never again! This place has the feel of a motel not a Hilton. The room was dark, small and dirty.
In fact our room was never cleaned even after we asked several times. I called to complain but no manager ever answered my calls nor came to see me.
We ordered room service one night. They still serve room service in togo boxes with plastic utensils.
Another night we asked for towels, since our room was not cleaned. The front desk staff said we had to pick them up downstairs because they were extremely busy. However, when I got downstairs- 5 staff members were telling each other jokes and doing anything but work.
We are Diamond members and we had a horrible stay!
We had breakfast here and that was good as well as the service.
The proximity to Disney Springs and Disney parks is appropriate.
There’s a lot nicest hotels to stay.

First, I think the negative reviews are referring to Buena Vista Lake and not the Buena Vista Palace. Hilton had initially booked me at Buena Vista Lake. It is a horrible property and outdated. It was horrific when we showed up for our weeklong vacation to learn we were booked at the wrong place. The room was awful and smelled. Thankfully, I called Buena Vista Palace and they had a room. Tatum, after hearing the horrific travel challenges and then the experience at Buena Vista Lake she made sure to make everything was set up well for us. She is an absolute gem and saved our Family vacation. I was about in tears due to everything that happened prior to arriving at Buena Vista Palace. Tatum handed me a bottle of water and she has no idea how parched I was since it had been several hours since I had anything to drink due to the nightmare we experienced up to this point. The hotel was absolutely beautiful as was our room. In addition, having this beautiful, lazy river and pool to relax after the days adventures was a perfect way to end the night. The Letter Press is a wonderful place to eat at and conveniently located within the hotel. I truly cannot say enough about this property and the experience we had there. We are planning a trip back and will definitely stay at this property. The convenient bridge to walk over into Disney Springs made for a nice little walk and not getting into the car. I highly suggest using the valet to park.
