Beautiful hotel with beautiful large room. Cool view of runways and colourful lights. View from the other side of airport interior concourse (featuring big fountain) would have been nice too. I loved all the lights in the room. When you get out of bed in the dark a dim light would turn on under the bed at my feet. When you enter the bathroom there's another dim sensor light. There was a light for the cabinet that the fridge and coffee making equipment were in, and the amount of options for bedside lighting was also great.

Just stayed here for the Orlando Salsa Congress. I was honestly expecting way more from a Hyatt on one of the most popular strips in Florida. Our room was so stuffy, it smelt like mold. Things were so outdated. One bathroom door knob was silver while the other side of the door had a gold knob for example. The sink took forever to drain, had to flush toilet multiple times due to low pressure. We had four guest in our room and they knew this and still only supplied us with initial amenities for three guests. They had an odd number of pillows on each bed (3). Typically there are four, two for each guest, just found that odd. The floor we were on was incredibly hot, so the AC had poor output. The lobby is pretty, the staff was friendly and B Line diner and the Market had great food. Those things were the saving grace for this place. For the prices, I would have rather stayed somewhere else.

Rooms were very nice, clean, bed was very comfortable. Access to attached convention center was convenient. Staff was friendly and valets went above and beyond. Parking was expensive ($38/night) in addition to resort fee. Both in addition to room rate.

Great hotel and location. The room was very clean and quiet. I love the rooms and the pool area, and the property is very family-friendly.
However, take a look at this (see attached picture) – you charged $225 for pool towels? I understand that sometimes technology may fail to register towel returns, but $225? I could probably buy 10 towels and bring them with me for that price. How is this charge even justified?
To be fair, the front desk lady was very helpful and refunded me right away, and I truly appreciate her assistance. But the initial charge itself was shocking and leaves a bad impression.

We have stayed at both Hyatt Regency’s in Orlando area. The other one closer to Disney is much better especially if you are with your family. This hotel is massive and felt like it was purely for convention guests (not families). The other Hyatt regency felt more like it was for both.
Before checking in I had requested connecting rooms a king and two doubles. They couldn’t accommodate that when I arrived even in this massive of a hotel. So we went up to the rooms and we were given whatever was closest apparently and that meant two doubles for both rooms, not a king. They didn’t inform me of this before we opened the door though so I was disappointed to split beds from my husband.
The rooms were very hot at night, they only put 3 pillows on each bed which is weird. The pillows are small like a toddlers pillow for a crib. The room has seen better days and the bath/shower is in need of an update. The elevators were super slow.
We did have a good meal in Descend 21. The food was very good and the service was excellent.
All in all, I would not stay here again unless it was for a comped work conference. Go to the other Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress if you are traveling with your family.
