We stayed at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek and was extremely disappointed with the experience. Aside from being about 4 minutes closer to the Disney parks, there is nothing “grand” about this resort.
The rooms are very old, with worn-out furniture, dated decor, and a lingering musty odor that made the stay uncomfortable from the start. The condition of the room does not match the premium price at all — you’re paying top dollar for a space that feels like it hasn’t been updated in over a decade.
Even worse, there was no hot water in the room. I had to run the water for nearly 20 minutes just to get it lukewarm. For a property that calls itself a luxury resort, this is completely unacceptable.
Service was lackluster, amenities were average at best, and the overall vibe was tired and uninspired. You’re much better off choosing another nearby hotel — there are plenty of options that are more modern, better maintained, and provide far superior service.
Bottom line: Not worth the money, not worth the hassle, and definitely not worth staying here — even if it’s slightly closer to the parks. Spend your money somewhere that actually cares about guest experience.

We had a wonderful family vacation here. Rooms are quiet and clean, staff was very welcoming and friendly. Location was perfect and we especially loved the walking path with so much nature to view- this was the highlight of our trip for the kids- turtles, fish, ducks and ducklings, all kinds of birds. Ice cream shop (scoops) was great with large portion sizes and reasonable prices. Large selection of pools, hot tubs, waterslides and places to eat without even leaving the resort. We would 100% stay again!

Stayed at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek over Memorial Day weekend and had the best time! Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, and the valet team was amazing, so quick and kind. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole place just had a great vibe. Overall, an excellent stay!

The Wyndham Grand Hotel was a fantastic hotel. I loved it because it was dog friendly. This location was fabulous because it’s right near Disney World. I absolutely love how big this resort was. There was a wonderful walking pathway, and there was a lazy river which was so fun and cute! There are some rooms that you can get a nice view of the lake. There is a restaurant outside as well. There were many hot tubs and it was clean outside.

There are few things to evaluate when rating a hotel; cleanliness, check in and customer service experience, and room quality.
The reason for my 3 star rating is largely due to the awful check in experience we had. Upon arrival, around 4:05pm, after a long day of traveling and little time to freshen up before a work conference, I walked into the lobby to find the longest hotel check in line I’ve ever seen. Sure, that means it was about 15 people. But when there were only TWO front desk associates who were taking their time having long conversations with guests, it seems like a longer line than one at Disney. Finally, AN HOUR after standing in line, it was my turn to check in. The front desk associate had no sympathy, was not warm or apologetic. And was happy to tell me my room wasn’t ready 🙃 at that point was easily past 5pm (check in is 4pm). Ridiculous.
I know the resort was crowded that week but that was due to PRE planned and booked events. Hard to imagine why the “resort” didn’t think to plan for that.
The rooms were nice and clean and so was the pool. There’s a nice boardwalk around the small body of water that connects to other hotels or venues. The pool bar is open until 11pm but they probably kick you out of the bar and pool area before then.
