We absolutely loved Dockside Inn Resort! The room was clean and spacious. It had everything we needed. The pools were huge and they had a nice sand and spray ground area for the kids. Our absolute favorite thing about the resort was their food court! They had so many different food choices and the prices were reasonable. We also loved the refillable soda cups. We will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at the resort from April 13th through the 18th. Due to numerous competitions and visitors from various locations, the resort was exceptionally busy. Although I arrived a day late, having previously notified the staff of my missed flight, I was allowed to check-in. However, upon entering my hotel room, I was exhausted and looking forward to relaxing in my "beautiful 2 queen bed with a pool view." Unfortunately, I found crumbs on the windowsill, a dirty bathroom with hair from previous guests stuck to the glass door, and dirt accumulated in the corners. The shower floor had black dirt in all the cracks, which was shocking.
Following an exhausting 24-hour period, when my daughter and I arrived at the hotel, she promptly fell asleep. However, upon returning to the lobby an hour later, I was hindered by the substantial line that extended around the lobby. With a competition to attend, we were unable to allocate time for waiting. Each day, I encountered considerable lines at the front desk, which hindered my ability to address our room's unacceptable condition. Eventually, I spoke with a staff member, presenting her with photographic evidence of the room's state. She acknowledged our inconvenience, offered to clean the room, and barley expressed regret for the situation. However, due to the hotel's full occupancy, a room change was not feasible. Unfortunately, despite her assurances, our room remained unattended during my absence, and I was compelled to shower while wearing flip flops.
Aside from the room's subpar quality, early park admission was a pleasant perk. However, I believe numerous hotels offer this benefit, making it unlikely for me to choose this establishment again. The cafeteria's atmosphere was enjoyable, but the cuisine was inconsistent. Computer malfunctions frequently occurred, forcing room charges without receipts. Fortunately, a nearby Walgreens was within walking distance, providing convenience.
One additional concern during my stay was the unavailability of hot water. The water temperature was barely lukewarm, even when the handle was fully turned. Considering our tight schedule and the existing delay, I had to make do with the circumstances and forgo my preference for a hot shower while wearing flip flops.
Furthermore, I was forced to pay for the night I didn't stay, on top of everything else. Consequently, I waited for an unclean room.
Update: Upon my return home, I contacted the hotel to speak with a manager and explain the situation, including the events that led to my absence from the hotel room for one night. The manager apologized and provided a refund for that night. Although I am thankful for the hotel's decision to partially refund my payment. Moving forward, I will consider staying at another universal hotel, I prioritize cleanliness, especially given that this is an annual trip.
These hotel photos reveal conditions that are inexcusable and reflect a significant failure to uphold basic standards of hygiene and oversight.

The kindness of the employee at the front desk check-in made a difference in our stay! Thank you for taking the time to notice that our trip included three people instead of the original two noted on the reservation, and for proactively upgrading us to a suite. We will stay here exclusively in the future!
And don’t get me started on the rooms. The layout of this hotel is PERFECT for families! So modern, easy to navigate and access, with wonderful amenities and a clean, open feel.

Everything was great. Hotel is clean and spacious. Staff were all friendly and helpful very attentive. The pool is great and has a cute little beach for the kids. So many life guards on staff each day. The little market gets busy but the food is great. Serves breakfast lunch and dinner. And buses to the park make it so easy to get to and from the hotel. Could not say enough great things.

Our overall experience was great! There was clear signs showing us where to go to check in. Check out was as simple as sending a text. We did the same for housekeeping if we need extra towels/wash cloths. If you are going to different theme parks, i highly recommend using the buses that are provided. We will definitely stay again.
