Stayed here as a couple, to stay budget friendly and still get early park admission. Hotel is very clean, and they were repainting and fixing while we were there even. Staff were very friendly, Olga checked us in at 8am, and we stored our baggage for our first day at the park.
The 2 reasons I'm giving 4 stars is simply because we stayed from the 1st-5th and housekeeping never came to our room the entire stay and we had to request towels. Now, the process is easy since you can just text, but they would then just leave them hanging on our door while we were away. Our room wasn't ready until after 4pm, so even with early check in you aren't getting a room until 4p or later. Not upset just making others aware for reference.
The pool was super nice after a long day at the parks, was a bit chilly as the sun was setting, but good cool down for the 80 degree day too.
The shuttles were right outside, very easy to access, and ran frequently to get you to the parks. The pier 8 market had such delicious food.
If you're traveling as a couple or a family, this hotel would be perfect for a budget friendly option!

We loved this hotel. The hotel is clean, tidy and accessible. The staff were friendly and efficient.
We didn't wait long to check in but on other days, like a Friday, the queue was really long.
The room, we had a suite, was spacious with a decent fridge, microwave and table to seat 5 or 6. Beds were very comfy, Housekeeping came every day. The coffee for the coffee machine was lovely.
We were using Universal Parks with a number of external trips. The buses to and from the Universal Parks were amazing, very short waits if any.
The food hall, Pier 8, was always available, the food was good, fresh and standard USA prices, which is quite high compared to UK prices, but unfortunately this seems to be across Orlando.
The Universal shop has a small selection, but choices from the different parks.
I definitely recommend for families, it's one of the Universal basic hotels but was totally the right choice for us. I would also recommend buying the freestyle cups for the hotel.
The hotel is close to IHoP, KFC Denny's as well as a Walgreens, and a host of other restaurants on I-drive.
Some reviews said the hotel was noisy, but we didn't think it was any nosier than a travelodge or premier Inn type hotels.

Everything there is perfect
Check in online before is better. But you still have to wait the room is ready around 4:00 pm. Between wait the room just leave the luggage with station and you can go somewhere else. The room is nice and clean big bed and housekeeping come to clean up the room every day . Food at hotel is good staff there is warm welcome. The bus so nice no need to wait for long there have many bus. Epic is good for Harry Potter but for someone who want to ride I suggest Island of adventure so amazing. If I can go back again I will choose 1 day per park because I can enjoy everything and important things is Express past help me alot . Overall I love Universal orlando studio.

Great location, the free shuttles are about a 10 minute ride to the park if that. I wouldn’t rent a car if you just plan on going to universal parks since you do have to pay to park. The staff if very friendly and loved having a food court to access throughout the day when you’re not out at the parks. It’s about 25-30 minutes from MCO so not too bad of an uber. Would recommend and book again!

Clean and well maintained.
Helpful staff.
Rooms size and suite size were nice for the price.
Swimming pool view is great, parking lot view not so much!
Loved the Starbucks at the lobby.
Food and drinks at Pier 8 is fast food mostly.
Its fine but overpriced, I guess is to be expected.
But deliveries were easy to get and also there is a red lobster, ihop and a 7eleven all around the corner within walking distance.
Also there are more food options not too far away of you have a car.
