This hotel is phenomenal - no other word for it!! The entire complex is so beautifully curated with stylish and calming interiors and everywhere is superbly maintained.
The private pools that then connect to a 90m lap pool is a fabulous feature and allows for a great workout swim!
The staff are amazing - so lovely and so quietly attentive. Endlessly obliging and just can’t do enough for you to ensure a perfect vacation.
The food offering is also first class and varied, and the live music is a lovely extra at breakfastand dinner.
If I could give it 10 stars, I would!!!!

Royal River Luxury Hotel is a true gem in Tenerife. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by peace, privacy, and elegance. The villa was beautifully designed with a private pool and rooftop terrace — perfect for relaxing in total seclusion.
The entire atmosphere is serene and romantic, ideal for couples looking for a quiet luxury escape. The adult-only policy adds to the calm, exclusive feel. Dining was exceptional, with standout gourmet experiences and impeccable service throughout our stay.

This hotel is truly something special. My partner and I first stayed here in 2023 and have been back four times since – it’s become a non-negotiable part of our year (2026 is already booked!).

Absolutely unreal. This was the second time that we’ve stayed at Royal River in one of their river villas, and we still don’t understand how this place exists. It feels much larger than it is; the tropical “rivers” running through the resort give you a swimming experience that you’ve never had before; the beds are incredibly comfortable; the staff is wonderful; and the food is phenomenal. If you’re looking for calm, luxury, serenity, and a unique way to unwind, this is it.
Ps the prawn brioche on the room service menu is ridiculously good, and their champagne selection is phenomenal.

Our stay at Royal River Luxury Hotel was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They’re attentive, and genuinely kind. The entire experience felt like we had been transported out of Tenerife and into a tropical paradise, reminiscent of Bali.
The villas are stunning and beautifully designed, luxurious, and unbelievably comfortable. The beds were a dream, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep after enjoying one too many sangrias. One of our favourite features was the pool villa connected to the river, it’s such a unique and tranquil touch, though we wished the water had been just a little warmer.
Breakfast was a highlight every morning, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. Every meal we had at the hotel was top-notch.
I visited for a girls trip, and it was the perfect setting — relaxing, fun, and elegant. That said, it’s also the ideal place for couples looking for a romantic getaway.
