The most incredible 5 days. We chose the royal river for our baby moon and could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend it.
The villa itself was spacious and stunning, a private pool joining the river pool was a unique feature that gave you the sense you were swimming in the middle of a rainforest.
The staff across all functions at the resort were incredible friendly and always on hand for any requests - adding to the feel of the resort.
The food and facilities of the resort were 5*, we ate different meals each evening, all of which were of the highest quality.
The pools are perfect, both in look and temperature and the resort is as clean as it is stunning, with rooms being cleaned twice a day!
I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Our stay at Royal River Luxury Hotel was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They’re attentive, and genuinely kind. The entire experience felt like we had been transported out of Tenerife and into a tropical paradise, reminiscent of Bali.
The villas are stunning and beautifully designed, luxurious, and unbelievably comfortable. The beds were a dream, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep after enjoying one too many sangrias. One of our favourite features was the pool villa connected to the river, it’s such a unique and tranquil touch, though we wished the water had been just a little warmer.
Breakfast was a highlight every morning, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. Every meal we had at the hotel was top-notch.
I visited for a girls trip, and it was the perfect setting — relaxing, fun, and elegant. That said, it’s also the ideal place for couples looking for a romantic getaway.
Thank you to the entire Royal River team for making our stay so special. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s like heaven. Staff are so attentive and genuinely lovely. The breakfast staff in particular couldn’t be more helpful. They’ve thought of everything. The food is fabulous and the hotel is just beautiful. Such a perfect retreat. From the spa to the swim up room pools

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish! Could not recommend this hotel highly enough. All the staff were brilliant, so friendly and accommodating. Special shout to Jenny who was so welcoming and attentive. Also, the staff were fantastic with dietary requirements. The breakfast and dinner at the top were so delicious. Our villa was incredible. Honestly, everything was superb!! Gracias Royal River!

This is the most perfect place we have ever stayed, it’s so peaceful The villa is so spacious and beautifully furnished. The grounds are immaculate. Staff can’t do enough for you. Breakfast buffet is great quality. Walking down to Caleta is a 25 min walk down hill and 7 euro taxi back. We will definitely return.
