Huge hotel with plenty of space and a fantastic atmosphere. The food was a major highlight—loved the fresh omelets, daily pasta, and the variety during theme nights. Unlike many resorts, the all-inclusive snacks here were actually delicious!
The staff really made the trip; honestly, every member of the bar staff and the wider team was amazing. The entertainment manager is very engaging, and Mario was great to chat with. Special thanks to Paulo and Saray, and to the two senior gentlemen in the B-Lounge for their top-tier service. The lady in the gift shop was lovely, and the shop itself is a total hidden gem for finding great items.
The surrounding area is fabulous, featuring a beautiful boardwalk that leads to two local villages, perfect if you fancy a change of scenery. Our room was good, though our balcony was a bit shaded. My only suggestion would be a snack bar closer to reception, as it’s quite a trek to the main one. Overall, a brilliant stay!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were kind and helpful, and all greeted us kindly. Rooms were clean and modern. Food was top notch, great variety over the days, and all inclusive drinks included international booze. For someone who doesn’t mind seeing/hearing aircraft landing at the nearby TFS Airport, it was in a good location, but I can imagine some people may not feel the same, on the other hand, it being a 15 minute drive away is a huge bonus! Would stay again!

I had the most incredible time at Barcelo Tenerife. I was worried after reading lots of negative reviews about the food but I could find no fault at all!
I spoke to several people over the holiday who also moaned about the food but I think the moral of the story is if you dont like the nature of a buffet, then don't book an all inclusive holiday!
Each meal had a huge array of foods to choose from and it was so easy to eat healthy - freshly cooked fish, bowls of fresh prawns and shellfish, so many salads! It was lovely to leave an all inclusive not feeling unhealthy and bloated!
Lunch and dinner service have drinks served by waiters which is a lovely touch. Every staff member that I encountered was lovely and professional and the cocktails are great!
The rooms are huge, the beds are gigantic, the water pressure is great, the pools are immaculate and the location is great for walking to nearby villages and marinas.
I think my only advice if you go here is - avoid the negative people who like to moan about everything wherever they go, as they'll probably be the only negative aspect you encounter!
Love Barcelo Tenerife!

A five star hotel where you need to pay water at diner, where nobody tells you the water isn't free, you pay the full fees at the end. It's a shame we can't have our own unless we bring some bought in a store. We found a cockroach in our bathroom, the hotel seems clean but not that much it seems. The drago buffet is good, with good quality products and lots of alternatives, including fish and vegan.
The gym is good. The facilities are mainly extra fees. I don't recommend this hotel mainly because they want your money and doesn't give full service.

Maybe we were lucky but we asked for a quiet room and got a quiet room with no early morning all late night noise.
Staff throughout the resort were very good. Buffet meals we're not as extensive as some other hotels but were perfectly adequate. All drinks and cocktails were tasty and well made.
One day our room wasn't serviced and I believe this may have been an accident, when I commented on the app the next day it was dealt with immediately and professionally above my expectations.
A film crew did take over some parts of the hotel at different stages but to be honest it was quite interesting and they tried their hardest to work around us even offered us a coffee at one stage from the film crew trolley.
The only criticism is that we find that this hotel does not offer one or two nights of dining in the a la cart restaurants without an additional surcharge. Even though we were all inclusive.
Be sure to do the san blas nature reserve or the Starlight walk organised by the hotel. Cheap and easy bit of local education if your into it.
