My experience at Hotel Palacio de Isora was simply exceptional. From the moment of arrival, you can feel the organization, the kindness of the staff, and the attention to every detail.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer stunning views of the ocean and gardens. Everything is spotless and perfectly maintained. The infinity pools are breathtaking — ideal for relaxing in total tranquility — and the gardens are beautifully cared for. The spa and relaxation areas are a true luxury.
The gastronomy at the hotel also deserves special mention: great variety, high quality, and beautifully presented dishes in every restaurant. But without a doubt, what makes the experience truly unforgettable is the human touch. At the Oasis Restaurant, the service from Erika, Bea, and Javi was absolutely outstanding — friendly, attentive, professional, and always with a smile. They turn every meal into something special.
Thanks to them and to the entire team, the hotel’s service reaches an excellent level. Truly, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The best of the best.

The hotel did not quite meet our expectations. The staff was perfect, absolutely nothing to complain about. Stunning grounds (gardens, swimming pools). However, there were a few things we really didn't like:
1. Our room was in a part of the hotel where there was very noisy construction of a new building every day right outside our windows and terrace. It was impossible to sleep from 8 a.m. onwards.
2. When we turned on the air conditioning, a very unpleasant sewer smell entered the room. This lasted throughout our stay. We sometimes smelled this odor outside the room throughout our section.
3. The room had seen better days. The bathroom was not perfectly clean (mold starting to grow on the shower ceiling, semi-functional flush, rusty bathtub). There was a broken iron in the closet.
4. What annoyed us the most was the hotel's policy of making as much money as possible on ordinary water. So sad and such a shame. Of course, it is okay to charge a higher amount for water at lunch/dinner. However, we would expect from a 5-star hotel to provide free water during the day (in the room, by the pool). This hotel, however, wants to make money from it, so you can only buy water during the day at the bar, a small bottle of about 300 ml for 3.5 EUR. For example, if you go to another 5-star hotel on the island (Ritz-Carlton), they will refill their own premium water in your room every day, and you will always have it perfectly chilled by the pool, free of charge. It's a small gesture that can go a long way at little cost. Instead, Gran Meliá gave us the feeling of being a tourist trap.

*** editing this to one star. I went to front to discuss my issues and they were very unhelpful and could barely explain the levels and service as well. Just blaming me. Terrible customer service ****Currently staying here and let's just say it's been interesting. Very first night I go to get in bed and there is a huge cockroach in the bed. Caught it and called to have it removed the next day. Took a couple times of asking for it to be removed. Then I was told we had red level access. Maybe I misunderstood but after being in the red level area for over 2 hours had a employee come and say we needed to leave. Let's also not forget to mention the sewer smell in our room that comes about whenever. It's bad.
I just feel like each day is just another thing after another. While Im continually told Im sorry from whoever is talking with me it just doesn't seem like it.
I just don't feel the 5 star experience. I feel as if they would be better off if I left then came here again. Oh well.
Pools are wonderful and it's nice to get down to the ocean and walk around. I stayed up north at a non 5 star hotel and felt they were much better at trying to help with anything. Trying to enjoy the weather and ignore the never ending issues here.

We are now coming to the end of a weeks holiday within this hotel as a family of three, the hotel overall is absolutely lovely. The staff great and very accommodating there is just a couple of little things that lets the hotel down of which they could improve. With the hotel being as big as it is with so many rooms the breakfast service in a morning having to queue behind 25/30 people at 10 am when breakfast finishes at 10:30 am isn’t ideal with a toddler with you, I would’ve thought with this hotel being a five star complex the breakfast area would have been a lot larger to accommodate the full hotel, it seems like the breakfast restaurant is overrun in the morning, which is a shame really as this is a big letdown when obviously coming down very relaxed after having a wonderful sleep in the room.
Overall, the property and it’s grounds are absolutely fantastic. The pools are amazing and we couldn’t ask for much more within a complex of a hotel for a family of three. As I said the staff are really attentive, they always smile and say hello we will be back, but I would say they definitely need to upgrade the breakfast service in the morning.

We arrived yesterday and our first impression was quite positive. The staff is very friendly, and the entrance offers a beautiful view of the main area and the sea.
However, we were placed near the adults-only section despite traveling with a 3-year-old child. This meant we had to carry her soaking wet through the entire hotel after swimming, which was inconvenient and not ideal for families.
Additionally, we noticed unpleasant smells in certain areas of the hotel. Yesterday, we couldn’t even open the window due to the odor. The hotel clearly shows signs of aging—you can see it in many corners. Normally, I wouldn’t mind, but I saw exposed electrical cables in the main pool, which is a serious safety concern.
Overall, it’s a decent hotel with friendly service and a nice view, but don’t expect a true 5-star experience
