Just returned from a 5 night stay. We absolutely loved this hotel and will return. Its so so clean, house keeping are fantastic. It was Jan so pools not really warm but we didn't expect them to be hot, the one with the bridge is heated as you compare it to the other pool and it's warmer, the splash play and slide areas are also heated-my children played in there all day and didn't complain, admittedly it was a bit nippy for me but we had some windy weather and I'm not that brave! The slides are fab and always life guarded so felt very safe.
Breakfast is great, no ques and nice selection. Evening meal was bit hit and miss for us but we arnt huge fans of buffet style all you can eat, the kids wanted to give it a try and they really enjoyed it, nice for kids to try different things, some reviews said no kids selection-id disagree, lots of pizza and a fresh pasta station which was really good.
Staff were all really friendly, at check in we were offered inter connecting rooms as there are 5 of us which was a huge bonus as jet 2 didn't give this option on booking.
It's being refurbed but we didn't see any signs of work going on. It was very quiet there as not at full capacity but this was a bonus for us!
We would 100% return but probably just do b&b next time as so many places in walking distance to explore. We got the bus to cala caletta which has some lovely sea front restaurants.

Title: Significant renovation works not disclosed at booking
I booked a hotel through loveholidays, and at the time of booking the listing did not disclose that the hotel was undergoing significant and ongoing renovation works. We stayed 2 weeks before Xmas. These were not minor works and had a clear impact on the holiday experience.
After returning home, the hotel confirmed that renovation information had been communicated to the supplier. Despite this, loveholidays has continued to advertise the property without clearly informing customers.
I raised a formal complaint and asked when loveholidays was informed of the renovations and why the listing was not updated. These questions were not answered. Instead, the response relied on internal policy, declined responsibility, and the case was closed.
A small refund from the hotel was given and a voucher from Love Holidays of £150 but the voucher cannot be used against an existing booking. We paid £1700 and have another booking for over £5K in June. This does not address the core issue of transparency at the point of sale.
I am sharing this to help others make an informed booking decision a) using Love Holidays and b) staying at this hotel.
Renovation works are still ongoing and there is nothing blighted to you at time of booking on prior to departure. You are left having to resolve yourselves whilst on holiday.
What was a wonderful hotel has had room interior renovations but there remains significant lack of facilities.

Beautiful hotel, the splash park was a bonus and big hit with out 11 year old.
Evening entertainment was varied and pretty good on the main stage.
Sun beds were comfortable.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Location was great for us, bus to Siam across the road, beach 7 mins down the hill and shops next door.
The staff in particular Jose Carlos and his lovely smiles serving at the main bar.
Ana and Rosa for their laughter, smiles and making our brekkie the best meal of the day, Thank you Rosa for the recipe with milled Corn and thank you Ana for the best poached eggs.
We will miss you all and can’t wait to return next year.
So long from Scotland.

The hotel itself looks great, but that's all.
Unlike advertised,
No heated pool
No tennis court
No paddle court.
Food feels like cooked by a shef who's at the beginning of his career, is not just plain, but packed with salt perhaps to hide the taste.
You cannot find any drinking water refill although they claim Blue.
Tell you off when tried to fill up bottle of water at the breakfast.
Basically you pay for their refurbished building. Nothing else worth it.
Won't recommend it.

For a 5 star this hotel was lacking some of the basics. The hotel itself looks lovely. Feels like 5* when you go in the lobby. However
It was advertised to have heated pools (no way they were heated, the pools are freezing which was really disappointing as this was one of the main draws for us booking so beware). The new splash pool looks awesome but again freezing.
No kids buffet as advertised so if you have a little fussy eater think again. The buffet restaurant however is really good and plenty of variety, we were lucky our daughter eats nearly anything.
No welcome packs in the room to explain anything around the hotel. I eventually found out there was an "app" half way through our holiday. Seemingly we should have been told at check in but weren't.
Asked at reception about the mini golf. They said they didn't know and we would have to ask the entertainment staff at 9pm (no good when we wanted to use it that afternoon).
The staff seem so disjointed. The reception desk don't seem to be on the ball at all or know what is going on. The kids club team seem nice but our daughter is too young at the minute to be left there though we were allowed to go in with her to use the facilities. The restaurant staff are all lovely and welcoming. Our daughter was obsessed with the robot. And the cleaning crew are top notch so no complaints there. we visited the pool bar once for a drink, 6 members of staff all stood talking to eachother for about 10 minutes instead of actually watching for customers (we just wanted another drink. Ended up leaving due to service - it's like the less customers the less they paid attention).
All In all, nice but not great for kids especially little ones. Will we go back, maybe especially if they sort the pool heating out but would maybe try a different hotel first.
