Lovely hotel, nice pools. Two are heated - main & kids pools. Towels are good - you have to get these from the mini market shop which is a bit random. You can also call concierge & they can be delivered to your room. Family room could have done with some drawers, nowhere to unpack clothes into drawer space as a family of 5. Probably manageable as a couple using the wardrobe & two small drawers inside. There is a sliding partition between the main room and kids, which has twin beds. We could have benefitted from bedside drawers & lamps in here. Restaurants very pleasant, good to try all the a la carte options, as well as the sushi & champagne bar. The gyros bar at the beach was also a hit, they also offer greek salad & corn on the cob. The beach is lovely but shingle & rocky. Creperie & ice cream place was well utilised too! I should add that the hotel has a Nutritionist & they cater well for allergies & dietary requirements. Good service from staff in all areas. Would recommend.

Outstanding Experience at Mitsis Laguna – 5 Stars All the Way!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mitsis Laguna, and I couldn’t be happier with the level of service and hospitality we received throughout the hotel.
A huge thank you to the STAR front manager Alex – his dedication and efforts to ensure guests are happy is truly exceptional. Alex went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. You can really see he cares deeply about guest satisfaction and does everything in his power to keep everyone smiling.
Also, a special mention to Katrina, who was extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. Her warm and friendly attitude made a big difference and added to the overall pleasant experience.
The entire hotel staff is very polite, professional, and welcoming. From the front desk to the restaurants and housekeeping – every team member contributed to a fantastic atmosphere.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!
Highly recommended – we will surely be back!

Nice hotel. To many kids running about wild. No parent control. Staff good. Lots of choice in restaurants. My adult daughter came with us and was given leather couch for a bed. I did say we could go mention it at reservation. But she said she would be fine. Very narrow, for an adult. Service a bit slow. But staff helpful.

Wow - if I could give this more than 5 stars, I would.
Firstly, the people. They can not do enough for you. From the bar staff, the gyros guy, the omlette man, and the lifeguards; they all greet you with happiness and will do whatever they can to help you enjoy your stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful. The entrance is grand and impressive. It’s super clean, spotless in fact. The rooms are spacious and are always kept spotless by the maids. They are so attentive; it felt like as soon as a drink had been used from the mini bar, it was replaced. Towels replaced EVERY single night. My daughter found the sofa a little uncomfortable, but I know if I told them they would have sorted it out. However; it was no trouble as the main bed was so big, she joined us in there, which made it even more special.
The lifeguards are unsung heroes. They walk around daily making sure everyone is safe. They smile and are always friendly - thank you to them for keeping my children safe, always! On this note, the pools are very clean and are of a nice temperature. The main pool, with the entertainment, does get busy and quite often will not have beds available, so i would recommend getting there early if you want the music and activities. The two amazing entertainers who organise waterpolo (which my daughter loved!!) and aqua gym work incredibly hard. I will always wake up now and say to myself “be happy” which is what he always used to say. Thanks for making our stay so special.
I could go on and on as the whole place is magical. Even from concierge, who lent me a laptop as I left mine at home - she’s a wonderful lady, who also recommended a wonderful local restaurant.
I’m so glad that I got to spend my 40th birthday in your company. It was a holiday we will never forgot.
A few constructive things that could be better:- Another slush machine at the main pool bar. It was quite often being refilled and out of use. The service at the specialist restaurants. Every where else the service is top notch but on occasions we had to chase up dessert menus etc. on occasions we ended up leaving without one.
Overall this is the best hotel we’ve been too. We always said we wouldn’t go back to the same place twice, but we will DEFINITELY be back.
A wonderful stay. Your people are what makes your place as special as it is. They work tirelessly- especially Andrianna (I think) behind the main pool bar - she is super quick and doesn’t stop. A lovely person.

Met all our expectations .
Recommended by our Son as the best hotel in Crete and lived up to that standard.
From day 1 from private cab to hotel .reception.buggie transfer to our room excellent location until going home luggage taken to reception and taxi to airport.
Whilst in the hotel Superb service ..lovely friendly dining room and on site Restaurant staff..great choices of food and always your choice of seating location Service above and behold
.A special mention to all Pooll staff and pool organisers thank you for for your services as always individual attention given to your requests and needs ..This is how a holiday should be and the best of luck to all the MITSIS FAMILY.
