This was our first time at the hard rock and our flight was delayed many hours so we didn't arrive until late.
We saw our ecv sitting but no key so when we went to check in, they do not have the key to it, have to wait until the luggage person is there. They did not tell us anything about the resort, didn't even feel welcomed. We had to ask how to get to our room. Very poor check in process.
The handheld shower broke, they said engineer would be up while we were at the park, they never fixed it.
The hotel was clean, the pool was nice, not deep enough to swim in. The ground were well kept and nice walking path to the park. Very close to the park.
The market was nice with lots of options from Starbucks to ice cream.
Restaurants on site were good.

From check in to check out, we had a truly exceptional stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. It was a pleasant surprise to be provided a room upgrade at check in along with complimentary drink vouchers. These little surprises and overall service provided by all staff members is the reason why we keep coming back. We are looking forward to our next stay in the near future. Thank you Shayan, Danielle, Victoria, Paulette, Hunter and Gina; Rock on!

For three days of our stay the room could not be used during our stay. Renovations above our room resulted in unsafe noise levels. They would not move our room. They offered $150/day for the noise. To put guests in there rooms is very disrespectful.
The hotel team were very polite. The location was great and the hotel and pool were otherwise very nice.
Hard Rock management. Whoever decided that these rooms should be in use during renovations, you should not be treating customers with contempt such as this.

Great experience and the Hard Rock hotel was perfect. Location absolutely unbelievable for getting in and out of the parks easily, and the express passes were definitely worth the more expensive hotel. The only knock is there is no express passes access for the Hagrid ride, and the average wait times for that ride are consistently over an hour and a half. We only rode that ride one time in 4 days, and it is hands down the best ride in the entire park. We had a great vacation.

Don’t bother. Idiots at the front desk can’t give the right key for the right room. Had to go three times to get the key replaced. Still doesn’t work. Blames the customer for the issues. Budget Inn at least knows how to give the right keycard (haven’t stayed there since college 20 years ago. But competency is something they knew about at least). Stay at another competitor hotel. You will be happier there. And probably will save yourself some money rather than an overpriced atmosphere hotel. This is also for a family of 7 spending a solid four figures for two rooms. The only reason to stay here is the early park entrance at Universal.
