The pool has a water slide and you get free express passes!!
The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfy !! We enjoyed our ride on the ferry to the parks which was super convenient!!
The only downside was the ferry was not operating in the evening when we needed to go home after the park and I was traveling with my aunt who needed a wheelchair to get around. I ended up having to push her all the way to the hotel because the ferry had a problem with the course for some reason and could not take us back, which was pretty frustrating but otherwise a very wonderful experience overall.

Our first experience at the Hard Rock Hotel did not meet expectations. We were staying in celebration of my daughter’s birthday, which I noted both at the time of booking and again at check-in. Unfortunately, this was disregarded and no acknowledgment was made. Additionally, I was not provided with any information regarding the hotel’s amenities or where to access such details, which made the experience less welcoming.
We are a family of seven and had reserved three rooms. While the service in the restaurant was exceptional and the hotel décor impressive, our stay was overshadowed by several disappointments. Upon returning from the parks on our second day, we discovered that our Hard Rock Hotel souvenir cups had been removed from the room, which was particularly discouraging as we had intended to collect them.
On a positive note, the pool was outstanding, and my children and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The bar service was also excellent, accompanied by great music. However, given these mixed experiences, I do not anticipate returning, as my stays at other Universal hotels have consistently been more enjoyable.

Great hotel, best part of the stay is the free fastlane passes for everyone staying in your room ($400+ value per day) and the 8 minute walk to universal studios (or a water taxi, but you'll usually wait longer for those than simply walking), along with early entrance times to universal. (Keep in mind you don't get fastlane passes to Epic Universe). Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, there's a little convenience store on site also.

Wow! Fantastic hotel and staff. Felt like VIPs throughout our stay. Helped make a special birthday celebration memorable! Will definitely 100% return here to Hard Tock Hotel Orlando! The Pool was amazing! Best hotel in Orlando!

Great place to stay. Would stay here again! From check-in to check-out, the whole staff and experience were excellent. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, which made the trip stress-free and enjoyable.
The location is perfect—everything is within walking distance of Universal Studios, CityWalk, and all the restaurants and entertainment nearby. We loved being able to stroll over to places like Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, Margaritaville’s Lone Palm Airport bar, and of course, the entrance to Universal Studios itself.
Breakfast was delicious and convenient with hearty portions and plenty of options to start the day before heading to the parks.
Overall, the combination of friendly staff, great food, comfortable accommodations, and unbeatable location made this a fantastic stay. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Universal Orlando!
