My family vacation was absolutely amazing! I could not believe how friendly the entire staff was. From all staff at the Cafe', pool staff, etc. (especially Victor who took great care of us for two days when we had a cabana) Make sure you ask for him! I loved how kid friendly it was, which is why we went.
Our maid for our room did a great job with having two little children and got a little messy, we always came back to a nice clean room. Beds made, fresh towels, anything we needed was just a phone call away too.
They had events each night, which was a perfect way to unwind for the night with the kids. (Fire shows, circus, and magic show we attended). Even have a kids play area where you drop of the kids so Mom and Dad can explore, grab a bite to eat, etc. They give you a buzzer like they do at restaurants and when your kids are done playing they buzz you to get them. Arcade area is nice to for the kids to play.
The gym was pretty good, it is what it is when traveling, but you still can get in a great workout with limited equipment. Plenty of cardio equipment. I recommended going early as you can since it does get busy first thing in the morning.
Breakfast at the Cafe' was spectacular. Omelets are very good and the cook was great! Plus other great options for breakfast food.
We will definitely be back or go to one of their other resorts!

We had an incredible time at Dreams! The staff was incredibly friendly and provided exceptional service. A special shoutout to Sergio and Jonathan—they were absolutely amazing!
The rooms were decent, but I highly recommend getting an ocean view room. It’s worth the extra cost.
The food was okay, not bad, but definitely could be improved. The atmosphere was great, but the entertainment options could be better. Having a live DJ at the pool or playing music would be a welcome addition.
On a positive note, they made sure we didn’t miss home during the 4th of July experience. That was a nice touch!
Overall, we had an amazing time and will definitely be returning!

I have spent the last five days at Dreams Riviera Cancun, and today is my last day at the Resort. My experience at this incredible resort has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I can truly say I have nothing but praise for every aspect of my stay.
From the moment I arrived, the reception was flawless—truly a 10 out of 10. The warmth and professionalism of the staff, from check-in to every corner of the hotel, was exceptional. The room I was assigned was pure luxury—spacious, impeccably clean, and complete with a private jacuzzi both inside and on the balcony. The stunning sea views allowed me to witness breathtaking sunrises, making each morning feel magical.
Room service was consistently perfect—prompt, courteous, and attentive. As for the dining experience, it was simply outstanding. From the elegant presentation of each dish to the exquisite flavors, every meal was a true delight. The resort also offers daily activities at the pool and an open bar throughout the day, which added a touch of relaxation and fun to each day. With three expansive pools and a large jacuzzi, I had no shortage of places to unwind.
The waitstaff was always attentive, ensuring that my needs were met with a smile and genuine care.
To the entire team at Dreams Riviera Cancun, I want to express my deepest gratitude. I leave with my heart full of cherished memories, each moment spent here will remain with me always.

Update:
People are still getting sick, with August departures.
Visit the fans group to see info. Clearly the resort is doing nothing about the issue.
This is an unfortunate review to write, but others need to know.
We stayed June 29 to July 3, 2025. We actually really enjoyed our stay, the staff and the resort. So I rated those higher. But I gave a 1 because of our illness and their response.
However, upon returning home, within a few days, 5 of our 11 family members because incredibly ill (and we all live in different states). Tests showed we all contracted Cyclospora cayetanensis, a tropical parasite that is found in contaminated water or food.
I reached out to the resort to notify them. They responded and explained they had incredibly high health standards and that no other guests reported illness.
I then went to the Facebook group "Fans of Dreams Riviera Cancun" to share info in case others got sick.
More than 8 other people responded, saying that their groups ranging from 5-45 guests had stayed within the same two week period and were also incredibly ill upon returning home. A few also reported it to Dreams after I suggested they do.
Despite us having overlapping stay dates, Dulce, the manager responded saying no other guests reported illness. This was clearly not true.
I was not looking for any compensation but wanted them to seriously look into the issue. However they appear to be deflecting and ignoring the issue.

We had a wonderful experience at Dreams for our wedding! Anabel was our coordinator, and she was so on top of it— she did an amazing job of making sure everything came together and ran smoothly from our rehearsal dinner through our reception. Alberto and his team of photographers and videographers were so great— they had a minute-long video already prepared for us with the music of our first dance by our reception dinner! The rest of the resort staff were so kind, attentive, and detail-oriented— we were blown away by their ability to remember our names and connections to one another for days on end. And they were so much fun as well!! I was hesitant to do a destination wedding, but booking at Dreams was 100% the right choice for us. Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!🫶🏻
