This was a good stay on Disney property for the price point. We enjoyed the ease of driving and accessing the parks early which definitely allowed us to get on a few rides we wouldn't have if we hadn't stayed on property. The room itself was nice, they had a smart Alexa type device that the kids enjoyed listening to stories on. The resort grounds seem slightly dated, but the kids loved multiple pool areas, including the one with the water slide. Overall we felt like it was a great stay for the price.

Coronado Springs Resort was a decent stay, but it didn’t quite stand out in any major way. The casitas felt a bit dated and showed some age—if you’re looking for a more modern experience, I’ve heard the tower is the better option.
One thing to be aware of is how spread out the property is. It’s a large resort, so be prepared to do a fair amount of walking depending on where your room is located.
The food options are solid but not particularly memorable—good enough, but nothing that really wowed us. Pricing is also something to keep in mind. For example, two cocktails with tip came out to nearly $50, which adds up quickly over a stay.
That said, the resort does have some nice touches. The open areas around the lake and boardwalk are relaxing and provide a great place to sit and unwind, especially in the evenings.
Overall, it’s about what you’d expect from a resort like this—comfortable and enjoyable, but not especially remarkable.

We just spent five days at this hotel absolutely beautiful. We were in the tower overlooking Epcot and Hollywood Studios got to see the fireworks at night time rooms were absolutely breathtaking. Loved the rain shower. Our favorite place to drink was at the Laguna bar outside. Jessica was the best love the early entry into the parks. Best birthday ever will definitely be back next year. Thank you for giving us a fantastic time.❤️

Very nice stay. Beds were nice, big area underneath to store luggage and shoes. Plenty of clean, fresh linens. The room was clean and well appointed. The grounds were immaculate as always. The complementary shuttle was a nice option to have available. The path around the lake provided a perfect course for a morning run without being out on the street.

We just left after a 6 night stay due to a conference I had. To preface, we have not stayed at a Disney resort before and are not regular Disney World visitors. We stayed here out of convenience for my conference. Due to demand, we were unable to secure a tower room and ended up in Ranchos. Upon arrival, we were amazed at the tower, lobby, and overall look of the resort.
However, after a long walk with all of our stuff and having difficulty finding our building, we walked into our room severely underwhelmed. I joked it looks like a Hampton Inn Express. The entire time, we felt we had to keep our curtains closed (the only natural light) out of fear that anyone walking by could see everything in our room—day or night. We had an ice maker on our floor, but there were no other ways to access water other than walking all the way to the tower or convention center (at least a ten minute one-way walk). The water pressure and temperature was good but the shampoo and conditioner were somehow drying and greasy at the same time. The towels were also tiny for two tall people and scratchy.
We also could hear everything from phone calls outside, when someone was cleaning a nearby room, and people banging on other doors. The beds were not comfortable, which would be nice after a long day standing in line at the parks.
The buses were good and came often which made transportation easy. The drivers were friendly and communicative. We never had to wait due to a crowd.
The food was another disappointment. As a vegetarian, I always hear about Disney promoting themselves as offering plant based options. But my options were all processed crap like a burger, $15 burrito bowl that gave me a 1/3 of what I would get at chipotle, or a $33 cauliflower “steak” from Toledo. Toledo was the only one we really enjoyed and it was expensive plus closed two days of the week.
Truthfully, it was overall disappointing and I can’t imagine coming back. Even if I have another conference there, I will stay at another resort that either lives up to the price or has food and amenities that are worth the $400+ a night stay.
