Ms. Grace the front desk manager is terrible and I felt she don’t care about customers, her service and response was poor and need to be addressed. I visited Disney for my daughter birthday, they promised me a birthday amenities, so I reached at front desk and inquired about, first day they said everything is in place and will send the present to room. Nothing was done, second day again I went to front desk to ask for it, Mr. Daniel was nice and try to help me to set up with greeting card , ballon and character plush for the birthday, however I received only the card and a small ballon. I went in the evening to find out about plush they promised. The girl at front desk look at the note made by Daniel and said she will arrange to deliver to room and she even asked what character my daughter loves, I said Minnie . She said she will try to deliver the same day if possible if not next day morning , next day when I went , they called the front desk manager Grace, she is denying any documentation of promising ( I wonder how come the girl evening read the note and asked what character if nothing documented) , she seems doesn’t want to help at all. I explained the room is dirty and have spider web , she said ok will send house keeping to clean up which was not done until next day, I asked anything can be done if I paid as I want to celebrate my daughter birthday and need that character plush for her memory. She denied all request without any hesitation. I paid a lot for his resort , which I wish I stayed in other hotels near by and if I planned a nice gift to my daughter for her. I am also a manager, the response grace gave and she handled the situation is disaster and heart breaking for any family.. I bought so many toys and gifts from Disney parks , but I was asking for the things they promised, if first time I visited the front desk itself they denied all, at least I would have saved my time visits to front desk. I have videos of spider web in the room , unfortunately in the review we can only post photos, if the Disney wants I can send a video of the spider web in the room I stayed. Don’t waste your money especially if Disney have this kind of employees ( Grace) as managers who don’t care about customer feelings. Hope some action will be taken.

This wasn’t our first time at Movies and won’t be our last. The rooms are a good value for the amenities and on property perks, and the ones we’ve stayed in were clean and in reasonable condition. This past visit we stayed in 1803 for 5 nights, a preferred location room. It was an easy walk to the bus stop/cafeteria. Our room was a little worn, the floor had some small gouges and the tub/shower was slow to drain and the flow control knob for the tub/shower was rather wobbly. But otherwise it was clean and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and we’re pretty fussy about that. The teens slept on the Murphy bed with no complaints. Housekeeping did a nice job sorting things out the two days we received services. The food court was easy to navigate and had offerings that satisfied all members of our group ages 15-47. We ate Mobile order pizzas poolside on our last night and it was a good experience, though we had to use one of the smaller pools due to the main one undergoing refurbishment.

Love the resort and the rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I arrived at 9 in the morning and surprisingly my room was ready for check in which was great for my first day in the park.
The only thing I didn’t like was the only transportation available to the parks were the buses. It would be nice if they could eventually get the skyline out that way. It would be far more convenient, less of a wait time and you wouldn’t be stuck standing on a bus.

If you’re looking for a magical Disney experience on your next vacation, then Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is probably not the place for you.
While the hotel carries the Disney name, it falls short in several key areas. I stayed here during a trip to the U.S., and after spending the past month in various hotels, I can confidently say that this was by far the worst experience.
First, don’t expect even the most basic amenities—like a duvet cover. Yes, you read that right. When we asked for one (you know, like a pillowcase but for a blanket), we were told the hotel simply doesn’t provide them.
The bathroom was another major disappointment. It looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 1980s, and the glass shower door was a constant frustration. It kept sliding open on its own, likely due to a slope in the tub, making for a less-than-private and rather annoying shower experience. To top it off, there were flying insects in the bathroom, adding to the overall discomfort.
For the price, we expected much more. The cost simply doesn’t match the quality, making it feel more like a budget motel with Disney branding rather than a true Disney resort.
That being said, the food court was excellent, offering a great variety of tasty options. But unfortunately, a good meal doesn’t make up for an overall disappointing stay.

I am giving this hotel 5 stars based solely on the fact it is advertised as a budget Disney resort and that’s what my expectations were. As a budget resort it was a great choice. It may be farther from the parks but the rooms were updated and clean. It is also in Disney property so getting to the parks was still easy. They were on the smaller side but my family of 4 still fit comfortably in the room. My kids loved the Toy Story theme of the area we were at and it is a very walkable resort. They had a lot of dining options at the food court along with an arcade and gift shop. The staff were very nice and helpful. If you want a nice budget friendly option this place is great.
