They only win here is location.
The hotel is showing its age and maintenance appears non existence.
If you pay with affirm, they will only bill affirm for $75. And you will owe the rest on arrival.
Issues:
No breakfast (even thou it's advertised)
No AC in lobby or hallways.
King bed was very firm.
Pillows were very thin.
Pull out sofa is also lumpy and hard. You are given a single pillow for this.
Arcade is 3 games.
Pool was closed
The hallway carpets were near black in many areas due to lack of cleaning.
$100 security deposit. Online stated $75
Kitchen needed a revamp and dishes dirty. It looked like the cabinet above the oven had a fire. Dishwasher did not function as know was broken. Mold was present in dishwasher.
Pros:
Great location. Lyft was about $6 to universal.
Central AC in room worked.
Room smelled clean.
Area appeared safe.

Extremely Disappointing – Do Not Recommend
I didn’t even stay the night. As soon as I walked into the room, I was hit with a strong smell of cigarettes, weed, and mold. The room was completely unclean – there was hair all over the beds, and the overall condition felt unsanitary and neglected.
The biggest issue was the false advertising. The photos online look nothing like the actual room. It felt like a bait-and-switch. On top of that, none of the advertised amenities were available – no pool access, no breakfast, and the front desk wasn’t helpful in addressing concerns.
I ended up leaving and booking another hotel nearby. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place. Definitely not worth the money or the stress.

Experience was okay. The rooms were spacious which was good but I did find cockroaches the first night so I spent it fumigating the room which to my surprise I didn’t find any the rest of my stay thank goodness! Bed was comfortable and I really loved the pool area. I payed for early check in then they denied it when I arrived and got refunded which annoyed me. Elevators always free which is good and location is just off I-drive which is convenient. Price was cheap so cannot complain too much.

The building was nice from the outside but from the inside the carpets were very dirty, stained. The amenities were outdated. Inside the apartment same thing. Carpet was stained and dirty. There was a thick amount of dust around the door frames and walls. A weird smell came out of bathroom tub. But the worst thing was the mattress. It was turned upside down and the metal coils were right there pressing against our back with no cushions between us. This was, at least, a disrespectful decision towards the guests. If the mattress is so old to the point that you can’t use it anymore, at least buy a new one… overall I don’t recommend this place at all. One of the worst places I’ve been to.

Our original room (room 608) had a completely broken ac and was extremely humid, it also smelled like water damage and was ridiculously humid. It was at a recorded 82°F . I called upstay (the manager of our rooms) and they didn't pick up until about half an hour later when they texted me about it and then said I would have to wait till past 11am the next day to get a new room. It's wild that a room at 82° is even available for sale. Other than that, our new room (room 509) had an okay AC and was able to keep the temperature at 74°, no lower. The rooms have a microwave, stovetop, refrigerator & freezer, toaster, sink, and basic kitchenware (pots, pans, silverware). Beds seem clean but pillows smell bad. The two rooms I had both had sofa beds. However, it's in a really good area so it's a little worth it.
