We recently stayed at Staybridge Suites Orlando Royale Parc Suites, and overall, our experience was mixed.
The best part of the stay was the room layout — the suites are very spacious and well-suited for larger families. We loved that the bedroom could be closed off from the rest of the space, giving some added privacy. The full kitchen was a major bonus, complete with a microwave, full-sized fridge, stove, and dishwasher, which made it feel more like a home than a hotel.
The breakfast each morning was another highlight — plenty of options and everything was tasty. Also, the rooms were surprisingly quiet; once you were in the bedroom, you couldn’t hear any outside noise.
That said, the hotel is definitely showing its age. While it seems like they’ve tried to modernize some elements, it feels like the updates were done by hired hands rather than professionals. Our room was mostly clean, but we did find a random fingernail on the rug, which was pretty gross.
More concerning was that our friends’ room had visible mold, which is unacceptable in any hotel. That wasn’t our personal experience, but it does raise questions about consistency in maintenance and cleanliness.
Overall, we’d rate our own stay as 3 stars — decent for the price and space, but the outdated condition and the mold issue in another room really bring it down. If management can address these problems, it could be a great option for families.

Overall the stay was nice. Could use some upgrades. The elevator wasn't working on the side closest to my room. I've never stayed at a Staybridge with outdoor rooms, but it was fine. Housekeeping did a wonderful job and front desk is extremely responsive and friendly. Breakfast was decent and I like that they provide you a breakfast menu in your room of what will be served each day. Inwas at a convention and didn't spend much time enjoying the amenities, but I was comfortable.

This "resort" is one of the many still around on the Route 192 stretch. The surrounding area is not that great, but it is within 15min of the 4 major Disney Parks. The rooms were very dated, but spacious and overall clean. Our biggest complaint was the check-in process. After completing check-in you are told that you have to speak to the guy "at the other desk" to acquire your parking pass. This is nothing more than their attempt to get you in front of their sales person. While there you will be LIED to that you are eligible for a free gift, and almost nobody ever qualifies for this! (So you are very special!!). They will beat around the bush, but at the end of the day it is nothing more than agreeing to a timeshare presentation. After being abundantly clear that we had zero interest, we were finally able to continue on to our room 20 minutes later. This act alone was enough to ensure that we will never stay here again. This, accompanied by the fact that the manager continued to push on this a few days later when I had to complain that housekeeping took our bottle of shampoo and left the caddy unlocked and dangling. Instead of being apologetic, he continues to ensure that I heard about about their amazing free gift!!
Pros:
-Moderately clean, despite clearly showing it's age
-Rotating complimentary breakfast, though their staff has to dish out your food (A little strange)
-The pool water actually seemed to be very clean and well maintained
-Not sure if there is a much better price, for what you get, and within the minimal distance to the parks
-7-11 convenience store right in front of the resort
-Many fast food options available close by
Cons:
-Not a very good area these days
-The game room is a joke. Either spend some money into upgrading it, or get rid of it. This room was severely needing a remodel 30 years ago.
-There is what appears to be an old splash pad, falling apart, that is a severe eye sore. You should probably remove this as a feature from any online listings, or Google maps photos
-There are four elevators, but at least one was always broken during our trip
-STOP trying to sell time share presentations!!!
-Why on earth would you only point out the single washer/dryer on floor 1 as your laundry facilities? I don't know if every level has one, but level two had an abundance of stacked washer/dryer combos. There was no mention of this, and people had laundry lined up on the main floor waiting to use the single washer and dryer!!

My family stayed for 5 nights. It was, conveniently, 30 mins from Universal with easy access to route 4. The welcome desk was welcoming and the staff were informative. The room was decent (2 bedroom suite) but the lighting is atrocious. I had to turn on every light and I still felt like I was in a cave. Other than that, the bathroom fan was scary and there were missing items from the kitchen (like only 1 spoon for use). I was offered maintenance to come look at the fan but I didn't want someone coming in to my room while I was out. Overall, great amenities (including a clean and spacious breakfast area) and decent rooms. The area is a little run down. The rugs at these hotels always sceeve me out. I booked with points, otherwise the added fees may have made me look for a hotel elsewhere.

Excellent location, close to Old Town and theme parks. Everyone but the servers at breakfast were so nice to be around and easy to talk to and very helpful. Room was very comfortable, so nice to have separate bedroom from living area. Light traffic noise through window or ac unit. My wife and grandson loved the pool. I will go back next time I'm in Orlando
