The room was spacious, the location was great, the lobby looked lovely, and the front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. I also used the shuttle service once, and while the timing wasn’t perfect, it was convenient and saved me from paying for Ubers and Lyfts.
Unfortunately, everything else about my stay was very disappointing. At check-in, I was given three key cards, one of which never worked at all, another that only worked for the lights, and the third that stopped working entirely before my stay ended, meaning I had to keep going back to the front desk. When I first entered my room, there were two maintenance men already inside fixing something, which was very unsettling as a solo female traveler. The walls were paper thin and I could hear every sound from the neighboring rooms, including conversations and plumbing. The room decor was extremely outdated, the bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold, and the faucet and shower were both in terrible condition. Most of the time the water was completely cold, with only one day of lukewarm water during my four-day stay. The shower head was fixed at such an awkward angle that I had to stand at the end of the tub just to catch a little water, making it nearly impossible to wash properly. After several attempts, I gave up on the shower altogether because the bathroom would flood every time, and I ended up using the sink, which also had no hot water and sprayed out of the sides. Overall, while the staff and location were good, the condition of the facilities made my stay very uncomfortable, and I would not return to this hotel.

Had a good experience at the hotel. Great reception and staff. Location is fabulous, plenty of restaurants dotted around and bus stops right outside.
Areas that need some improvement
1. The ACs in the room are on the outside wall so there is not much cool air going to the entire room especially if this is a room with 2 queen beds.
2. Swimming pool needs a better level to cleaning and unfortunately I could see people not showering before entering(!!) (not the hotel's fault as there are enough signs about swimming rules).
3. Room cleaning happens once every 3 days. Perhaps towels can be changed every 2 days.
4. Breakfast options are quite limited.

We had a fantastic 2 week stay at Ramada Plaza. The building is very secure and the reception area was very welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a real bonus. We would definitely stay again.

Just got back from a 2 week stay. 3rd time we’ve stayed and always enjoyed it. Staff are always amazing. Price is great, rooms are perfect for us as we’re out all the time at the theme parks. Location is amazing.
Rooms have what ya need.
The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that the key cards can be really temperamental.

I’ve stayed probably 5-6 times. It’s my go-to hotel in Orlando. Always good service. Free parking is a big perk, as I always drive down from Georgia. The location is prime if you are looking to stay close to all the I-Drive stuff. They also have a bus service to take you to the parks if you prefer that. Breakfast is better than expected. Highly recommend booking a suite, as the suites are in a different tower than the rooms. If you book Club Level suites, you get free access to the Sky Lounge, which has a private bar, pool, and hot tub. The bar has complimentary beer, wine, soda, snacks, and pizza in the evening. Really great vibes! I will definitely be back!
