Exceptional hotel proper located in a quieter part of the town. This is an adult only hotel so it is understandably that bit quieter overall. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious. The pool bar serves really nice dishes. Breakfast is a buffet affair, but with extensive made to order menu for freshly cooked dishes. Great coffee too. Excellent staff. I would return here without hesitation.

Adults only which made it the most quiet and serene hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The staff are phenomenal.
Only two minor problems for us. The swimming pool is quite shallow and the gymnasium, although quite modern, wasn’t particularly well equipped.
However, will we return? Absolutely.

We had a wonderful time at La Isla y El Mar hotel. The staff are amazing - really friendly and remembered us by name. Our room was huge - I believe all rooms are suites so we had a bedroom and a reception room with sofa and comfy chairs. We had a nice sea view and there were also two sun lounger on our patio. We had a slight issue in our room with a smell but from explaining the issue before breakfast, it was resolved by the time we got back from breakfast - really efficient!!
The pool area is great and we never found ourselves looking for a sun lounger and the breakfast in the mornings was excellent.
We ate out every evening and there are some great restaurants very close to the restaurant with all kinds of cuisine. We truly had a super relaxing holiday and it was just what was needed after a chaotic and hellish few months.
Thanks to all the staff at La Isla y El Mar for making that happen!

Probably one of the best hotels on the island. The stylish sun deck is equipped with comfy sun beds, but also provides enough shade for those who need to cool down. The spacious suites offer both a living room and a bedroom and feature a large bathroom with daylight from the top. The safe is big enough to hold a 16 inch Notebook and anything else of value. If you prefer to enjoy the sun without other people around, you have got your very own terrace with two sun chairs. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful at all times. However, the biggest shoutout goes out the restaurant team. Not only is the breakfast amazing, with anything you might desire from the buffet or fresh out of the kitchen, but the real highlight of the day is dinner. No matter what your choice is going to be, meat, fish oder vegetarian, you will never be disappointed. The quality of the food is way above expectations and the staff makes you feel welcome every minute of your stay. Give Ruben and his team a raise, they truly deserve it. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Wonderful staff, beautiful views and spotlessly clean. What more could you ask for? Glass of cava on arrival. Most suites have a sea view as far as I know. USB for charging phone so no need to bring adaptor . The pool was fabulous with jacuzzi beds to lie in. Lovely temperature too. Towels to bring to the pool available in your room along with bathrobe and slippers. Sunloungers were really deep double beds that were covered and really comfortable. Fresh water supplied everyday and a few complimentary bottles of minerals in the fridge on arrival. Rituals products in the bathroom. Hairdryer, coffee maker and kettle supplied with selection of teas and coffees. Our room had the sun all day so if you don't like going to the pool you could relax on the balcony and admire the view from there. Fabulous selection for breakfast. If you need it there's a gluten free section with a separate toaster.
The location is fabulous view wise. No problem going down the hill. I did walk back up it everyday but might be a little difficult for some. A taxi from the town cost €2.90 so very easy to get back if you can't manage it. 10 mins from the airport. We booked a transfer but there's no need. Grab a taxi. There are plenty of them. All in all a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back.
