Friendly staff, not a bad location if you don't mind a steep hill to walk up from the strip. Took ages checking in, longest, I've never waited so long. Rooms smelt of not sure what but not very nice, but seemed very clean. Our room had a view of a wall that had a motion sensor light that went off a lot and was very annoying. But worst of all, they serve cheap margarine with the food.. also, the air con was usless. Not a hotel, I would stay again.

What an absolute great place to stay! Hotel is clean, apts are spotless and layout of reception and bar area great. The 2 guys on the front desk I could not fault. Bar staff great, pleasant, friendly ( except for the bossy welsh one, least said the better ) and got to know your preferences for drinks and food really quick. Rooms done to a high standard and pools were good. Cleaned pool area cleaned every day. One bad thing to happen was the smoking of marjuanas. We did smell it a few times on our balcony. Overall tho, a great place to stay

Half way through 2 week stay. Asked in advance for double bed & upstairs room. Were given exactly as requested. Even asked for specific room number!! Nice quiet location, close to main shops & restaurants etc. Pool bar snack & drinks good value. Pool & whole site very clean & tidy. Staff work hard to keep up good reputation.

Amazing! Bitacora Lanzarote Club is one of the best places i have ever stayed in! They just can’t do enough for you! The cleaners came every 2 days cleaned the apartment cleaned floors and all kitchen and new towels which was great! apartments are very modern and clean aircon is available for 20 euros deposit (because of remote) the pool is nice but beware the cue starts at about 7:45AM sometimes! And the pool doesn’t open until 9 as they clean it every single morning so it’s a lovely clean pool shop on site good bur I recommended the Macedona supermercado on the sea front it’s great! Restaurant here is nice only went in once and it was nice very modern! The pull out bed could easily sleep 2 very good place Would stay again thanks for an amazing stay!! (stayed here July 2023)

Our room was basic with everything you need for a weeks self catering holiday. It was clean and had a great balcony. Location is ideal for walking into Matagorda or Puerto del Carmen. Great public transport and well stocked local Spar. We'll definitely be back.

Prime location. The apartments are a really good size with a modern bathroom. The rest could do with a bit of modern updating, a few cracks in the wall and the kitchen was a bit dated but really enjoyed the stay. The pool was great and we could see it from our balcony and the toasties and the cocktails from the bar were the best.

It depends upon what you want. This has a pool. Its freezing btw. Its near beach and shops. The wifi is terrible. Dont buy it. Its 7min walk to main attractions . Its less than 4 euro in taxi from carmen so its location is ok not perfect but quiet. They dont change towels every day and bed linen once in week. The beds and sifa not luxury but all we really did was sleep n wash in it. The shower power is amazing. Its ok for price i suppose but small improvements could make it much better. Would i stay again? Maybe

I can't share about anything other than the pool area, which was very relaxing, clean and the luxury of the little bar area near the pool, which served coffee, beer, soft drinks etc. We were staying at the small adjacent apartments with shared use of the pool.

This was our third visit to these apartments. A very small, adult only complex comprising of about 24 apartments. They are very basic studio apartments, an open plan kitchen/bedroom with a bathroom. Nearly all the apartments have either a terrace or balcony over looking the small unheated pool. There are about 12 sun loungers situated around the pool and my only complaint was the early morning sunbed baggers, who would put towels out, then go out for a good few hours preventing other people from using them. We stayed for three weeks and saw a big turnover of guests and they all seemed to want to do it. The apartments themselves are dated with very basic cooking equipment and utensils. A 2 ring hob and a microwave. 3 forks, 3 knives and 3 spoons. 3 cups, plates and 2 bowls. You can ask for more apparently but we managed. The apartments are serviced with a basic clean and towel change once a week and a more thorough clean, bedding and towel change once a week. It’s clean and the beds are very comfy and very quiet at night. We don’t need much moreVery close to the strip, within walking distance of lovely restaurants, bars and the beach, just in case you don’t get up early enough to bag a sunbed. The staff are lovely and assist as much as they can. It ticks all the boxes for us despite being basic. We will definitely return.

I recommend Las Lilas 100%. Intimate, quiet and peaceful. Great owner and nice service. Closest shop across the street another 5 minute walk. Beach, restaurants and bus stop 3 minutes away. Rooms clean and properly equipped. A small disadvantage is the lack of a jug. I highly recommend Las Lilas, the proof is that I returned there after 4 months for another vacation. Best regards and see you in May ☺️

Lovely apartments, we had app 114 which has mobility scooter accessibility. Pool is rather cold as it doesnt get much sun but is very refreshing! Good size, very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back in the not to distant future. If i was being picky i would say that some areas could do with a little more cleaning but it was more than good. It was my birthday while we were here and i was given a lovely bottle of freixenet as a surprise, which i thought was very sweet of them.

We spent 3 nights there and it was perfect: clean, well equipped with everything needed (especially the Moka, for Italians), the host was very kind and available for every need. The location was also good, 3 mins by foot to reach the beach and all the restaurants/pubs in the center. The pretty pool is perfect to chill and enjoy the place. We loved it.

Pleasantly surprised. This place isn't the RITZ, but everything works, everything is clean, the location is perfect, and there's a real friendly community around Kathy's bar staff. We were greeted by a lady named Maureen who showed us where to find the key (we were late checking in so they leave it with your name outside reception). Kathy's bar makes the resort, and the staff are super friendly and great with kids. The Lidl is less than 5 mins walk and it's a 15 mins walk downhill to the main strip and old town. There are 3 or 4 bars outside the resort that sell nice food and drinks at a reasonable price. We're likely going to go back.

Horrible!! Dont go!!! Appartment nice from the outside, inside from the middle ages!! Everything on this was horrible INSECTS everywehere, could not sleep, bed is hanging down crazy in the middle. Pay 150 euro per night and this was litterely the worst experience of my life. A couch from a recycled wooden pannel hard as rock from the middle ages. No showersoap. No soap to do the dishes. Only 1 towel. Come on man after i payd this price!!!

Arrived now knowing where we were going as accommodation been changed 1 week before Nice clean apartment. Nice bedding. Good kitchen. Decent WiFi. Lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Not noisy. Gardens and pool area Kept well. Few bars and eateries just round the corner and Lidl and Spar just across the road. Bus stops outside. Only downside for me was the big hills to negotiate but walked down and taxi back for 3 euros.

I've been to the island more times than I can remember and this was the first time I had stayed here. On my arrival I was greeted by such a friendly lady on reception who explained everything very clearly and made the check in and out process very simple/smooth. Many thanks to her. The room I had was a good size for both of us who were only really there for the shower and sleeping as we went out the entire time. The times we spent at the complex we used Kathy's bar, this was perfect for tasty food throughout the day and drink when required. Thanks to all her team. The only thing I would say is there is a bit of noise from doors slamming in neighbouring apartments, this is not a dig at this place, it's the same all over the island and a little bit of foam around the door frames would help this. It's not a major problem and certainly will not stop me from looking to stay here again in the future. Good location in-between old town and the beach. Many thanks to everyone there.

Excellent, the apartments all face the sea, they are clean, you get fresh towels every two days and clean sheets every week. They are really quick to respond to any problems. Really quiet, small and friendly. We love it and will definitely go back again ♥️

Nice hotel for our week stay, we'll equipped apartments, wifi was OK bit of a pain you can only have 3 devices connected and having to keep signing in. The Tv was OK with a few english channels, not a smart tv. The shower had good pressure, nice and hot. The beds were too soft for us. The cleaning was super, cleaning called daily to check or ask if we required anything. Our room had a great sea view and was on 2nd floor by stairs only. Which wasn't an issue for us. Great location 5 minutes from shops bars and restaurants. 10 minutes from airport Which is €20 ish in taxi.

Excellent apartments. Very clean. We stayed in room 31 which had a small comfortable balcony facing the sea. Small pool with loungers. Good location if you like to be slightly away from the strip , but can be there in 10 mins. Also only 10 mins from the old town, which we found perfect. Would definitely use again.

We were given this apartment complex as an alternative to the one we had originally booked, in January 2022 this was due to COVID-19 causing us to postpone our holiday to the end of September. We have to say we are glad we did. The complex is small, only 28 apartments, very clean and extremely quiet. It is located a very short walk from all amenities and the beach. There is a small spare just over the road or if you would rather an Aldi a 5 min walk away. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and we had regular clean towels and our bedding changed once per week. No there is no air conditioning but with all the benefits of peace and quiet in a clean and safe environment who cares. Would highly recommend a we will be back.

Rooms are good but basic. Apartments are right on the main beach strip. Turn either right or left for good places to go, eat and lounge. Beaches are directly across from the apartments. Taxi rank and bus stop very close to the entrance. Safe is an extra cost at check-in with a deposit paid back on check out. Pool is a cheeky cool dip! On the whole, a good, reasonably priced place to stay. Thank you.

Very basic but clean, no freezer compartment on fridge, very few utensils . We had to buy mugs and drinking glasses as the supplied ones were tiny. Lots of steps if you are in block F 2nd floor. Central location right on the strip.

Very clean rooms and a well kept site, pool cleaned everyday, it's very quiet considering how close to the front. Bedrooms and living rooms have large ceiling fans. The only downside is that there is no air-conditioning and the rooms can get very hot.

Staff were very good, receptionist Sara was so friendly and helpful, Isa in the bar was great also. Cleaning staff were excellent also. Rooms were basic but very clean. Mattresses were not 5star, but one of the best we have slept on in a budget hotel, pillows could do with a bit of an upgrade, though. The only major complaint with this hotel was that they pool was freezing cold, akin to cold water dipping temps. We weren't the only people who made this comment. Sea was actually warmer and more enjoyable to swim in. Gonna say it cost them because we would have spent more time about the hotel eating and drinking during the day if the pool had been more welcoming. Quiet hotel, no evening entertainment but a great place to stay despite the pool.

Inconsistent springs to mind. We enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights in later March. Very friendly, helpful receptionist and nice, quiet and safe complex if a bit rundown. Fidel is a legend! Made us lovely, affordable cocktails and had a nice chat on our 1st day, however alot of things could be improved on, on the management side! Just basics like nicer rooms as portrayed online. The reception had multiple similar paintings.. odd..why not use these in the apartments? No.24 had no pool view as booked and peeling paint on the bedroom door/wardrobe. 1st thing that greeted us after being up over 30 hours!! Balcony furniture looked about 20 yrs old. Asked to swap immediately and they moved us the following morning, when able to and no questions asked. We couldn't settle in for our little break initially but it was fine. Comfortable beds and very clean. No.3 had a lovely terrace pool view but the water pressure was quite weak on the ground level generally as we found out and I've long hair. Not great. Had to ask for more kitchen utensils and a bottle opener 3 times from the cleaners and they never once cleaned our apartment. I rarely ask for fresh sheets if only there a short while espec as it wasn't very warm weather (better for our planet!) but replacement towels after a couple days would've been good. Rented us an iron for €14 for a week stay? Found this odd. Pool was very cold but cleaned daily at least. If they sorted all these smaller things out I'd possibly return.

Love this little place, its friendly staff are great especailly reception. Its clean spacious are basic but just what you need, pools are great and very pretty landscape. Then the pool bar what can i say they are great guys so friendly they can do anything from piece of toast in the morning to a slap up steak at night and the best sangria on the island... love you all see you agai soon xxx

Lovely apartment with everything you need, nice complex too. Sara in reception was very good. One downside! There was a very loud, rude group of Irish guests who kept us awake all night for two nights and were sweating loudly and being vulgar around the pool in the day. They cause a lot of damage to one of the apartments too for which the police were called. Reception is unmanned overnight (this is explained in the brochure) however, there is no security guard or a phone number to call in the event of an emergency. This did put a dampener on our holiday unfortunately. We would definitely return, but would recommend a security guard for when reception is closed overnight.

Don't know why all the bad reviews. Just came from there, we were half board. Food was nice, not to many choices but you will not stay hungry. Apartment bit outdated but you have everything what you need, and it's clean. Staff very friendly. Check in is from 4pm and if you arrive earlie you can leave your bags at reception and use the pool. Very nice ocean view. Pool is missing some tiles but it's nothing dangerous, you can swim normaly. There is kids poll 55cm deep, and then 1.55 m, and 1.70. There are loads of restaurants just 5min walk from hotel. There is some entertainment every night except Sundays.

Difficult one this, on one hand we went cheap and got cheap but on the other the hotel doesn’t seem to be trying to look after you as it should. The first thing, and its important, it was 87 steps up to my room, my companion and i are both disabled, we were not warned and it seems most are up lots of steps, some even higher on another level. The rooms are cheap and most of the curtains didn’t shut properly, the pots and pans and other bits supplied didn’t match at all and looked like they had pinched them from Noahs Ark. Cleaners were supposed to come in daily but in 5 days we only saw them once and they didn’t even make the beds properly. The food, food, ha ha ha, sorry, they sort of seem to be trying but really dont expect the food to be anything special, its hardly warm some days, its usually the same items day in day out, we seriously nearly walked out in disgust one night, just be prepared for it. The staff were a mix of really helpful and others that would only help if you were attractive !! Overall i feel as i said that we paid cheap and that’s what we got, its a shame because it could be a lovely place to stay but sadly its very tired and needs some investment. Would i go again, no, sorry, the steps and the food would make me look elsewhere.

The accommodation is on various levels with lots of steps, no lift. The individual apartments are very dated and in need of maintenance. The overall look was tatty and uncared for. Surfaces were not properly cleaned and the oven looked unusable. There was an instruction not to sleep with windows open for security reasons and a note to warn about theft from rooms!

You pay for what you get, rooms outdated ut clean, very attentive staff.....Carol is an amazing individual who goes above and beyond her role, we was placed on top floor with amazing views but due to my friend recovering from a hip operation, next due we was moved to the ground floor. All I can say is Carol should be promoted, as she made the holiday amazing 👏

AWFUL PLACE… they STEAL your property on the last night. We had our luggage taken from the hotel room. Definitely an inside job. We stayed in the room next to the cleaners staff room, able to monitor when we were in and out. AVOID AT ALL COSTS… if you look at other reviews they will tell you the same! Not worth the hassle. Told security what had happened and they couldn’t care less…Spent money on our cards for taxis and takeaways, even had the cheek to take our Chinese takeaway out the fridge. All clothes taken apart the ones we was wearing. VILE PLACE.

Cannot fault this place. The room was really spacious and very clean. Lovely quiet pool area with a very nice bar that serves food, beer, and snacks. If you walk out the back door and turn right, you're on the main strip in 1 minute. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we had great night sleeps. The room we had overlooked the pool and you could also see the sea. We could also see the sunset. Can't wait to go back. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Affordable option well-located with nearby bars, supermarket across the road, bus stop and a few minutes to the beach. It is on a slope with some steps to apartments, so I would not recommend it if you have accessibility requirements. The room was very clean, self-catered and had the basics; hairdryer, kettle, ceiling fans. Extras such as standing fans/air conditioning cost extra and can be ordered in advance. Pool area was nice, but number of sunbeds is limited and continued to be taken up by other guests who were out all day! You have to ask the lifeguard to remove towels for 'reserved' sunbeds which is annoying. Nice poolside bar with reasonable prices (linked to local restaurant, so restaurant prices), but you can bring your own beverages to the poolside I believe. Pools were small but sufficient and deep. Overall a pleasant short and affordable stay. If you want room service and air conditioning included, you will need to go up a star!

The apartment was very clean though some of the bedding should be replaced as there were some small holes in the sheets. A couple minor problems when we arrived but they were rectified very quickly the next morning. It is convenient for the seafront and close to many eating places. We plan to return next year.

Just returned from another stay at the Laguneta. We love these apts, clean and spacious quite basic but so so peaceful. Mingo on reception was again very friendly and this will not be our last visit Staff will give towels/toilet rolls if you ask and apt cleaned daily. No 7 needs bigger TV 😄 See you soon

Just returned from a great week here. Was a little worried about going as I'd read a few negative comments, but it's been lovely. Cheap and cheerful, great spot, lovely and quiet and just a 5 min walk to the strip. You get what you pay for but it's clean, the maid was in everyday, towels changed once during the week. Could do with updating, never used the kettle, toaster or microwave as they were a bit past their sell by date. It hasn't put us off as we are hoping to book again for next year. Loved it!

Lack of everything needed. Dirty, no reception, potent surrounding smell, very small TV. Many other things. Let me just say that we stayed here in these same apartments in 2017 then again in 2018 but gone they have gone right down hill. Was in Lanzarote last year when heavier restrictions (different better staffed apartments which we loved ), main issues in Laguneta mostly stem from lack of necessary staffing. We will definitely keep returning to Lanzarote as we have done for the last 18 years but not to these apartments.

Stayed 4 nights from 02/01/2024. Location was perfect. Only 10 minutes drive from the airport and 10 minutes walk to local restaurants and shops which are on the seafront. From there you can walk as far as you want along the seafront which was just fantastic. The accommodation is rated 2 star and so our expectations were that it would be basic. And it was. Though that isn’t a bad thing as we just used it as a base. The pool was great and our apartment was near enough next to the pool which was perfect. The apartment itself had basic equipment, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. No oven. It also had air conditioning which worked great. We had a couple of nights where the people in the apartment above woke us up around 3am as their kids were running around and banging on the floor, which was followed by some shouting and it went on for about an hour. We could’ve said something but didn’t see the point as there’s not much anyone could do about kids waking up in the middle of the night most likely excited and not realising we could hear everything below. The only other issue was the mattresses which felt worn and needed replacing. The springs could be felt and again we thought about saying something but didn’t bother seeing as we were only staying 4 nights. It just felt like a 2 star rated experience so we should’ve expected some issues. We probably wouldn’t return unless we knew we’d get a better apartment, but that said, the location more than made up for it. Staff were friendly and especially in the little supermarket. We didn’t visit the on site restaurant/bar so not sure if it was any good.

As a no frills self catering apartment it gets 5 stars - clean. Great bathroom. Great location. Well stocked supermarket on site. But unfortunately I wouldn’t stay again because it’s so difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bed frame is so badly designed that every time you roll over in the night it wakes you up! Hard to believe (and I’m a heavy sleeper) but true. The mattress is fine. But the frame is awful and no amounts of wd40 will fix it

Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms. Had a restful 2 weeks. We managed to get an apartment on the ground floor although you have to go down steps (or ramp) to get to the swimming pool, which was either 'fresh'! Booked to go next year. Enjoyed watching the planes arriving (or departing ).

Stayed here for a week 9-16 Jan 2024. Small complex of basic apartments about ten minutes walk from Matagorda Beach and the bar and restaurant complex. An easy 10 minute drive from the airport. You can hear the planes coming and going but it was not too intrusive. We had a top floor 1 bedroom apartment facing south over the pool with lovely mountain and sunset views. WiFi almost non existent. Had to buy an extra data package as 4g coverage was ok. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant. Had drinks at the small bar a few times, reasonable prices. Small supermarket on site with larger ones, Lidl and Mercadona a short drive away. We had breakfast on the balcony each morning. Microwave,toaster,kettle and a few pots and pans provided. We hired a car and the parking was on the street in front of the complex. We found parking spot every day but it could be challenging if the complex is fuller. Would stay here again as the location is good for easy access to the main roads to visit the attractions of the island. We also liked that you could walk to the bars and restaurants in the nearby complex and would recommend the Jazz Bistro for excellent food and service.

We stayed at the end of February the service from Sandra on reception was fabulous she recognised us from when the stayed about 10 years ago.The apartment was great the whole resort has been refurbished since our last stay.The only thing was the restaurant on site wasn't as good as the last time we were there.On site supermarket was still great we enjoy there freshly made croissant and tuna patties.

Excellent service, Jesus at reception helped me greatly as I had lost my phone in the taxi who took me there and helped me get it back (thank you!!). Apartments are independent, they get cleaned every 2 days including beddings and towels changed. Food is not the top but there's quite a variety of choices and you always find something good. Staff very helpful and friendly. There are facilities for those who have already checked out which I was very grateful for - not the best kept shower but it was a blessing as my flight was in the evening so I could still go for a swim and leave my luggage in the storage. Overall it's not a 5 star hotel but it is still great for a stay and to enjoy a nice holiday at a good price.

Worst accommodation in the canary Islands, avoid at all costs. On arrival reception was unwelcoming not very nice. Went to the apartment and it was so outdated it. Hole in the sofa bed, ridiculous, no kettle, no fan, no toaster, no microwave, old towels that needed to go in the bin, there was strings on them, not enough pillows and blankets, asked for a 3rd blanket the first day on arriving as there was 3 beds and 2 blankets didn't get it until the 9th day along with an extra pillow. Next issue was deposits for everything, since there was no kettle asked for one which was €18 deposit and didn't even work, need €10 deposit for a second key, need €1 deposit for every glass of drink you get from the bar. Next issue was cleaness, cleaners hardly never came when they did you wouldn't know they were here. During my 10 day stay they didn't even empty the bin once. Other apartments lucky not min had bed bugs because the place never gets clean. Even the main toilets that anybody can use didn't have toilet paper when I told reception about toilet paper they were very rude when i was trying to be helpful, and there was no way to dry your hands. Some of the sunbeds were fility you wouldn't want to lay on them without a towel, they were actually black from dirt needed to be thrown out. Don't go all-inclusive the food was no where near adequate wouldn't even give it to the pets tasted disgusting, I tried breakfast, launch and dinner twice was feeling sick after it. The drinks were awful the beer disgusting the cocktails came out of a dispenser and tasted terrible but at lest the bartender was nice the only person working there that was. HIGHLIGHTS BED BUGS, FOOD DISGUSTING, RUDE STAFF, OUTDATED FURNITURE AND APARTMENT, DON'T GO ALL-INCLUSIVE, DIRTY APARTMENTS

A great holiday in November 🌞 excellent sea views and Sunsets from our balcony, good pool and rooftop sunbathing area. Rooms basic but adequate, good shower pressure (but poor toilet flushing pressure), hairdryer ok, towels and bedding changed if sign left on door ... extra blanket provided on request .. thank you! Short walk to old town and beaches. Good on street parking, edge of town, so roads quieter with easy access to explore the island. Food decent, nice scrambled egg at breakfast, nice paella at dinner. Most staff very friendly and nice; one odd man on reception at the end, refused to return our 1euro cup deposit, it's only a euro, so not going to spoil our experience, but was really weird and a bit rude.

Rooms worn-out but good enough for my needs. Food basic but again I don't eat salmon and oysters at home ,staff very helpful and friendly nice location a few steep hills to cope with to get to the harbour town but taxis are cheap enough. Beer outside of the complex is very cheap to buy, roughly 2.5 euros=£2.17pence.all in all pleasant holiday with lashings of hot and sunny weather, 20 to 23c.

The check in was very unwelcoming. We were stood whilst reception and another member of staff were having a heated debate. Not great welcome. Room was dated, but clean. Quickly became apparent that the walks were paper thin. The food was like being in a rest home - basic and not replenished quickly enough for demand. If you want a cheap no frills holiday, then this is the place for you..

Hotel was nice. Rooms need a little TLC however have everything you needs. Staff were very helpful and polite. Pool area is always clean and tidy. The cup idea is a great idea to avoid littering and waste. Perhaps needs a little more entertainment of an evening and possibly more games likes the pool table. Food was lovely, they made sure to accommodate to everyone. Different food each day. The drink selection was good throughout the hotel. Location was ideal only a short walk down the the main strip along the beach. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The zoo (Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park) was only a short taxi drive away however there is a free bus that picks up from the beach and takes you there, they also pick up at the end of the day (when zoo closes). Lovely area would visit again.

The place was really nice. However, there were a few incidents that we faced during our stay (cleaning/no hot water in the shower/had to change the room after our first night due to a pipe issue). The personnel reacted quickly, and we got a nicer room. Overall, we did have a great time, and we definitely could come back here.

We’ve had a lovely stay. We got the holiday for a very reasonable price and only paid a very small amount extra for all inclusive. The beer is San Miguel and is really nice. I found the wine ok too. Coffee is real grounded coffee beans. The food is basic but because of the price we paid I think it would be unfair to complain, although I don’t think it would take much to make it a bit better. They have an excellent idea of charging a refundable €1 for your cup for drinks. It means the pool area is kept tidy. The pool area is really nice with plenty sun beds which aren’t on top of each other so plenty room to have a bit space to yourself. Lovely holiday overall 😊

Place needs shutting down!!!! After buying this mini holiday as a Christmas present for my partner I feel totally miss sold this hotel! After arriving to the building site, it didn’t get much better walking through the main door to the point we didn’t even check in! We spoke to a few people saying there who were having the worst time in their words…. They said they had stayed there three days too long and we’re desperate to go home…Pool food was shocking great if your a 4 year old kid… nuggets and chips and stale sandwiches! we went into the restaurant and my partner and me aren’t fussy eaters, but the food AWFUL!!! We got our cases walked out of that hotel and had to book somewhere else to stay! I Understand, refurbishments need to take place, but I believe you should be prepared or told so you can make that decision on whether you will stay at that hotel or not. This hotel is not a four star I would say it’s more like a two star and that’s being generous Don’t waste your money!! Bluesea don’t care they just want your money… Spoke to a lot of English that live out there who said they haven’t had one person say anything good to say about Bluesea

Room shabby. Huge gaps to both doors. Wind whistles through gaps. No hot water for first 3 days. Bed too big for room, struggle to walk round it to get in. Strange door leads into next door which you can here every noise neighbours make. And finally the food...absolutely dreadful. Paid half board, ate there once. Small choice,dishes topped up too slowly. Food was cold. Was more like school dining hall in 1980s. Terrible. Glad I didn't go all inclusive.

Really enjoyed our stay at Livvo Morromar. They have a great hardworking team that aimed to make our stay on the island as easy as possible. The atmosphere and surroundings are reflective of the calm nature of the island life. While the room was basic, it was clean and well attended by friendly cheery cleaning staff every morning. Everything is in easy walking distance although some of the footpaths could be a little steep for those with accessibility needs. The buffet hall caters well for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The hall is also open for a healthy window of time so we never felt rushed during any of our meals. If you're lucky, you'll be able to make friends with the local cats. Our favourite was the ginger one, who lived by the dinner hall 😻

We loved it here and would stay again. Self catering which is what we wanted. No microwave oven which was a bit strange in self catering apartment, but everything else worked. We had a sea view on the road side. We were right by the pool. They are 2 pools.

Average hotel with good location. Wouldn't recommend all inclusive option, food is not great,cold and tasteless. Rooms are okay but need a little refurbishment. Staff is ok. All inclusive drinks serve in plastic cups in the evening (I understand by the pool).. I have asked for little celebration for birthday guests, hotel assured me before coming that there will be surprise for birthday girl..unfortunately it was just emails and nothing else. Shame. I wouldn't come back here, there are much nicer apartments in the area.

Nice hotel in a great location. There are 2 pools and a large dining area. We hadn’t chosen all inclusive or half board so we paid 9 euro for a breakfast. It was a large Buffett selection and was open until 10:30 am. Beers were available at the larger pool area and cost 3 euro for a 400 ml size. Taxis were available in a rank just outside the hotel at the side of the second pool and could be accessed by a gate that was locked at 9:30 pm. The rooms were cleaned 5 days out of 7. A couple of minor drawbacks that included not having two single beds in the room which we had asked for and the fact the hotel is located on a hill. Overall I would go back again

We were staying opposite, a group of very drunk youths started throwing glasses and crockery from their first floor apartment onto the road, narrowly missing pedestrians. We went to inform reception of what was happening only to be given verbal abuse ourselves by the reception staff. If you want a very down at heel holiday it's just right for you but if your looking for anything else go elsewhere.

Great location between the old town and the strip. Very spacious rooms with a large balcony and a fantastic view. The property is immaculately kept and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is great . I would have no hesitation recommending it and we will most certainly be back.

We booked a room we seen on the website, however when we arrived we got a completely different room. Very basic. The restaurant looked as if had been closed for sometime. The kids play area looked rather run down too. On the positive it was very central, right next to the shopping centre.

Great location between the strip and the old town. On the outside it looks 4 star unfortunately the apartments are needing a lot of TLC and only about 2 star, but lovely big balconies and the apartments have all you need for self catering.

We stayed in this Hotel last Week and it was just awful. The flat was old and as dirty as we have ever experienced on holiday. From the floor to the doors, shower, bath... there was hair from other people everywhere. The shower was so disgusting that we only showered with slippers. The flat was cleaned every day but the dirt was just moved around. The terrace and furniture were full of sand from us but they were never cleaned. We also had nothing to clean it with, sponge, washing up liquid... We were so disgusted and wanted to spend as little time as possible in the flat. It was the worst experience we have ever had. We paid way too much for what you offered us. Just awful! We will never stay in one of your hotels again and will never recommend it to others.

The location and facilities are very good , however... Customer service does not exist in Labranda or with the management company in charge. I gave 2 months notice to change dates of my booking, contacting the property over and over again to receive confirmation of amendment which I never got. They then proceeded to charge me for an apartment for 2 nights that I was not there. As my stay was for 7 nights total, my options were to pay for the extra 2 nights, or cancel the entire booking last minute and find somewhere else to stay at high rates. This was blatant theft and against consume rights laws, but they held the gun to my head anyway. To the owner reading this review; - your company owes me a refund for those 2 nights, Oct 16th and 17th 2023. I will then gladly amend this review. The people behind the reception desk are the least helpful staff I have ever encountered. Taking payment and handing over a key is the full extent of what they seem capable of doing, and even this requires a 10 minute phone call to the management company.

So far so good. I'm part way through a ten day stay whilst diving. The staff are super helpful & friendly and the place is spotlessly clean. The pool area us great and there is entertainment on an evening. The breakfast offering is buffet style and everything is great. The walk into the old town takes about 15 minutes but it us a bit of a steep pull back up. Overall very happy

The hotel has an excellent location. Close to the market centre and the centre of Puerto del Carmen, where you can find plenty of things to do. The hotel has a fitness centre, swimming pool, daily shows and a shop. The surrounding area is well maintained. The rooms are spacious. You have a terrace next to your room. However, I have a very bad experience with the beds. Very uncomfortable beds and cheap. A 6-legged bed with an uncomfortable yogi. The hotel is very noisy, the people and the workers have no regard for privacy and quietness. Not recommended for young couples who don't like to listen to children fussing. The maids are very friendly, but it is annoying if you are asked every day if you want your room cleaned. The hotel is suitable for a 3 star category. My boyfriend and I spent 600 euros for one week which is ok.

Airport bus drops off at Casino e1.40 each for a single and picks up at stop 5 mins behind hotel for return trip. No need to take taxi!!

Great Apartments for the price, great location,nice rooms, nice pool area and bar. The bar is very reasonable for food and drink which is tasty opens 9am - 6pm (cash only). The reception staff was very nice and helpful the rooms were well maintained and clean as was the hotel grounds. We would definitely stay here again.

Livvo Apartments comprises of a large number of bright, airy apartments on the ground and first floor. The ones on the first floor are reached by outdoor, spiral stairs. The apartments are relatively well equipped with fridge, electric hob and shower. There is a large swimming pool with a smaller, shallow part for children. There are nice ornamental gardens and there is a bar serving drinks and snack meals.  BBQ area and a selection of books available. Free WiFi is available but you have to log in every time you return or when you switch your phone etc on. The rooms are cleaned on a near daily basis and all the staff are all pleasant. Overall Livvo Apartments offer GREAT value. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely a great place to stay!! Have to say I was there for 2 weeks the staff/area and place is so nice . Rooms are spotless not a speck of dirt, and they are cleaned everyday for you . Fridge and freezer oven and very spacious The pool is great … food is amazing for pool bar food , very cheap drinks as well and eduardo is one of the nicest man’s you’ll meet !! There’s also a pool table to keep you entertained!! The swimming pool is great , always cleaned . Will definitely be back couldn’t recommend it more !!

Terrific place to stay if you are planning a break in lanzarote. Stayed in Elaine 2 , quite and secure, lovely clean fresh well maintained apartment just a short walk frothed beach, shopping and a wide choice of good places to eat. Our night security man, Mamado (excuse the phonetic spelling) went above and beyond the call of duty leaving us to the airport in his own car when the ordered taxi didn’t arrive….cannot recommend Elaine apartments highly enough, will definitely be back!

Stayed here last week the hotel its self is nice with a nice clean bar/resturant. The hotel staff were helpful we arrived at a busy time and they seemed slightly stressed out. We were told our room won't be ready until around half 1 and 2pm so went for a few drinks on the beech front. Came back around 3 to be told the room still wasn't ready. Once we finally were able to check into our apartment we found it to be nice and spacious. The only negative I would say was after a long day of travelling we both wanted a shower only to find the shower tray to have loads of hair in it and trapped in the plug hole and was quite dirty. But other than that we enjoyed our stay. The pool area and bar is nice and serve not bad food and drink.

Horrendous hotel, avoid! Cockroaches, damp rooms from leaking showers. Dirty rooms with underwear still in them. The pool table is ruined, and they don't even have a key for if a ball gets stuck. I don't think I saw the pool tested once in the 8 days. The food was awful, their advertised BBQ night was a shambles with the cheapest possible ingredients. Such a let down.

I have just returned from an 8 night stay at the apartments. On arrival we were allocated a room in block B, room 304. Unfortunately the room was not ready for our arrival. The bedroom curtains were not hung up and the room had not been cleaned. The skirting boards were disgusting throughout the apartment, the fridge was stained and smelt and the floor was dusty and unclean from the workmen that had recently carried out some work. We couldn't stay there at all. We let reception know and they sent a cleaner around who didn't speak English so was unable to assist with our concerns. We spoke to reception and they moved us to another room immediately. The 2nd room was alot better and we stayed there for our holiday. The reception team did leave a bottle of Procescco in the room the next day as an apology for the problems with the first room. The rooms do need updating and towels changed, we got towels that were stained with Bleach and frayed Good location, close to the strip, bus stops and supermarket. If you are unable to walk up hills then this is not the place for you and a taxi will be needed to return back to the apartments after a day or night out.

My recent stay at Moraña Apartments Lanzarote (App 410) was an overall delightful experience, thanks to the spectacular views that awaited us from our well-appointed apartment. The moment we stepped into our accommodation, we were immediately captivated by the breathtaking panorama that stretched out before us, providing a picture-perfect backdrop for our entire stay. Although we initially encountered a minor hiccup with our assigned apartment (it was completely renovated, but we booked for the view), the swift and efficient response from the staff deserves commendation. Within a mere 15 minutes, the issue was resolved, and we were promptly moved to the correct unit that boasted the panoramic view we had eagerly anticipated. The level of customer service demonstrated by the team was truly exceptional, ensuring that our vacation got off to a smooth start. While the scenic beauty of the surroundings was a highlight, it's worth mentioning that the only aspect that could be improved upon is the bedding. The beds, unfortunately, were somewhat squeaky, causing a disturbance every time one turned during the night. However, this minor inconvenience did not overshadow the overall positive experience we had at Moraña Apartments. In conclusion, Moraña Apartments Lanzarote provided us with an unforgettable vacation experience!

I spent four nights at this hotel, which seems to be designed with elderly guests and families in mind. The decor and amenities feel somewhat outdated making it less appealing to a younger crowd. However, for those not overly concerned with modern accommodations and looking for value, it offers a good price point. Regarding meals, I opted for half board and was content with that decision since the food, despite its wide selection and appealing presentation, didn't quite meet high standards in taste. Thus, I chose to dine outside the hotel for lunch. The hotel's location is both a hit and miss; it's conveniently situated a mere seven minutes from the airport and just a five-minute stroll to a beautiful beach. However, the proximity to the airport means rooms on the runway side are subject to frequent airplane noise, which could disturb light sleepers. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and proficient in their roles. For extras, the hotel offers a spa facility. It's not covered in the base price, costing an additional 18 EUR per person, but it's a worthwhile indulgence given the spa's serene and inviting atmosphere. Lastly, the hotel provides a car rental service. It's competitively priced, removing the hassle of additional deposits typically required by other rental services.

After day 1 here, it is a good hotel. I have a Seaview room, and the room is huge and clean with all amenities. The lunch dinner and breakfast is really nice. All inclusive is the better option. It's a huge hotel! The staff are friendly and helpful. Today it is very busy. The price is fair. I am happy 😊. We also love planes so it's really cool. The planes stop flying about 9pm and start around 7am so no issues there. It is child friendly as well. Loads of entertainment. Spa is an add on.

Good value for money, although unexpected added extras, even with all inclusive. The building was a bit dated, but practical a few pools, one heated, close to airport and right on the beach. There is a long coast walk which was father then we where able to walk, where going to hire bike which where readily available but run out of time with tours and activities. The food was ok, my partner love it, I was a little taken back as there was not a lots of vegetarian or vegan options. Our room was clean and had what we needed, requested extra bedding and the staff were happy to help. The Spa was lovely, with an 8 point self hydrotherapy areas around the main pool, I enjoyed a full body massage and foot scrub administered by Linda, she made me feel at ease, it was so relaxing that I booked another, the staff at the spa are very helpful and friendly, at my second session I asked Linda if there was something she would recommend “yes - the facial” On her recommendation, I did this and this was administered by Luna who was also extremely respectful and kind. We had a great stay

COCKROACHES Do not eat at this hotel. We arranged half board and booked through jet 2. They have ignored our complaints despite being shown images of cockroaches being present at the buffet. The location is good. The rooms aren't cleaned properly by staff and condiments aren't restocked in the room either. The staff are quite blunt and dismissive. When I showed a waiter the cockroaches he didn't say anything just took a tissue and put it in the bin in the kitchen. No apology no explanation he just smiled and walked off.

Very good food it is delicious, so many different things there is a airport very close to the hotel so it is easier to come to after your long travel. The pools are nice and warm for April. If you are looking for rest, relaxation, peace, and quiet, then Casas Heddy is the perfect location. Everything here is unhurried in a positive way. You can feel yourself physically wind down. If you are sociable, there are opportunities to chat with other guests. If you are there to get away from it all, unwind, and switch off as we were, then it is equally perfect. Food is wonderfully fresh, prepared in a buffet style, and availability for gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian diets is catered for. We highly recommend the four course evening menu - 20 euros per person. Delicious! Lots of choice nearby of fish and steak restaurants if you enjoy eating with the locals. The walk into resort offers shops, bars and restaurants day or night. We enjoyed splashing in the sea and sunbathing on the large expanses of clean and well maintained beaches. It is a steep walk to and from the beach, but worth it to return to the peacefulness of Casas Heddy. Read about the philanthropic woman who developed the inclusive holiday facilities - Heddy Astrup. We will definitely return! Our rooms were clean, recently refurbished, and the advantage of sunbathing in your own garden or patio space, or simply star gazing at night with a glass of wine was perfect. I stayed here for 5 nights as a solo traveler, working remotely. I wanted a relaxing, rejuvenating trip and that’s exactly what I got. The hotel is so beautiful, very clean and maintained so well. The food is absolutely beautiful, especially the dinner each night. Theodore the waiter is so friendly and welcoming and made me feel at home. The spa is also wonderful and Frieda is one of the best masseuse I have ever found. It is located about 10 minutes from the old town which makes for a lovely walk and only a €3 taxi instead. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and can’t wait to return soon!

Casa Heddy is a beautiful relaxed complex. It is a rehabilitation and wellness centre and adaptive to many disabilities. The rooms are spotless and beds are very comfortable. The pool area is most definitely 5* and not the 3* it’s advertised, and is a nice salt pool to ease your aches and pains. They have a beautiful and open kitchen for lunch and a few meals at night which were absolutely delicious. The staff are very tentative and so friendly. From the moment you arrive at reception to the bar, chef and cleaners. It’s is a steady walk to the shops but a nice cheap taxi for a few euros will get you there. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you Casa Heddy for a lovely holiday.

Was not put in main complex out on a quite busy road. Traffic all night didn't sleep because of this. Dog barking most of the night. They even had to get a van to take us to our apartment. I would not recommend this place. No swimming pool near apartment. It's 1115 in the morning and still trying to get some sleep but there is a construction site nearby. One of the worst if not the worst place I've stayed at.

Stayed at Hotel Floresta for a week in April all inclusive. Overall a very good hotel with a couple of niggles. Reception: Couldn’t do enough for you, they were always so friendly and helpful. Explained everything you needed to know about the place, recommended days out, places to see round the area. Rooms: Were immaculate and cleaned on a daily basis to a very high standard. Beds were comfy and the room had a very powerful shower. Having a separate living space/kitchen as well as a balcony with sun-loungers was nice as well. Pool: Was very big and there was plenty of sun loungers round about. Plenty room in the pool to swim or just relax in the sun. They also did a few games in the pool during the day which was fun. Restaurant: The food overall was well cooked and tasted nice. Breakfast was quite repetitive but lunch and dinner was quite varied and they had theme nights on a couple of nights. The Chinese one was absolutely brilliant. Service: All the reception, entertainment, house keeping and most of the bar/restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, however a few bar/restaurant staff were rather abrupt and one in particular was really rude and acted like they didn’t want to be there at all. Location: Only a 10 minute drive from the airport and there is a spar shop right across the road. There is an absolutely excellent bar called Marcos across the street as well. About a 10/15 min walk into Los Pocillos. It is a little bit outside the main strip of Puerto Del Carmen. Would take an hour to walk but you can get a bus or taxi from outside the hotel as well. A taxi into Puerto Del Carmen was only €5. In a very good location but a little bit further out than you make thing but it is so easy to get to the airport. Overall a really good hotel for a break and I will happily stay again.

This was our first holiday away with our son with additional needs, and we all had an amazing time. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily, and the bonus was our wonderful view of the mountains. The food was better than expected. Breakfast was the same every morning but had loads of options to change between. Lunch and dinner always had options for our picky eater. The entertainment during the day was good, and the night was brilliant with a mini disco for the kids. The entertainment staff were also brilliant. Location is great with a mini market outside to grab essentials and bus stops/ taxi ranks also outside to explore the rest of the island. Overall, it was a really great holiday and we will be coming back.

Just returned from this lovely Hotel,the rooms are big with a bedroom living room and kitchen .We were all inclusive the food was fine plenty to choose from however we did dip in and out as there are some nice restaurants with some fab sunsets. The hotel was spotless the pool was big with plenty of bed and it didn't matter what time if day you could get one. Staff all friendly, Adult animation guy so nice and ran some great activities . We have stayed in the sentido and la Geria over the last 12 month and have loved them all but the floresta rooms are great and the pool is huge . We plan to be back at Christmas.😁

Pros: - Lovely clean & spacious apartment - Perfect location - Nice friendly reception & cleaning staff Cons: - Awful food. We ate one breakfast & one dinner and never again. The food is only for Germans. Mini frankfurters for breakfast etc. The food is not prepared on site, it is simply re-heating. Very poor quality and very poor selection. - Staff in bar and restaurant were rude, very slow and incompetent. I understand they have to deal with rude British tourists and have bad days but we are not British and we were always friendly, but the staff still did not treat us well in bar & restaurant.

Just returned from staying at the La Geria, for 4 nights, and it has been amazing! I went as a solo female traveller and felt so safe the whole time. My room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was modern and spacious, and my balcony and view of the pool were beautiful! I stayed all inclusive, there were lots of choices at mealtimes, and the food was very good, the cocktails on the all inclusive menu were also very good. The location was lovely, right opposite the beach, and next to Matagorda, where I rented a push bike, and went to explore the area, and down to the airport to watch the planes coming. The staff at the hotel were polite and friendly, and the entertainment at night was great. My only negative was that the pool wasn't heated, and was freezing, however I can understand this as it wasn't peak time when I travelled. I definitely recommend this hotel, and would love to go back in the future!

Goodies: the room: big comfy beds, very clean, good shower, quiet (enough). The hotel/pool area/restaurant in general is very clean and very pretty. Staff: in general very friendly and hardworking! Entertainment: it was there every night (except sunday). From 20-21 bingo or a music quiz and 21 - 22 a music performance. Food: buffet style, for a week good enough, varied food. Staff is hard working! Tips: the pool can be warmer/was too cold for us. We booked half pension (breakfast and dinner) and thought it was weird we didnt get a drink with dinner (you have to pay for them - we didnt know in advance). With breakfast we got drinks/coffee including in half pension. At least one (soda) drink including in dinner in half pension would be nice as well, we thought. A tip for the environment: all those dirty tablecloths are changed (a lot!) to be washed - dump them. Looks nice, a tablecloth, but boy o boy, these days that is not very environmentally friendly (to change and wash them thát much) we thought. In the bathroom there is a vision for the towels (use more than once). What about a likewise vision for the tables - just clean them with a cloth or use placemats. In short: nice clean hotel, we recommend it.

Fran and Sofia at reception were incredibly helpful as were Julian, Patrick and Caesar in the restaurant/bar. The rooms could do with a refurbishment but this did not detract from a rather brilliant holiday. Our thanks to all at the La Geria.

My son was poorly one night as well and the night staff member (didn't catch his name) couldn't do enough. So helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel. We would visit again.

Thought hotel was 3 star at best. Location wasn't great at top of hill but taxis were reasonable. Weather wasn't great but room never seemed to warm up. Breakfast & lounge area were nice & the breakfast was good but not enough to tempt us back. Not enough entertainment in resort for us most bars we saw were just drinking bars with sport on the television. Did find some good restaurants which were good value for money . Spent most nights in the Dubliner bar which was great.

My partner and I stayed here for 10 nights and left a couple of days ago. It was OK at best. I'm not entirely sure how this hotel is rated 4 stars, maybe 3 stars would be more fitting. The breakfast was OK, and we got extremely bored after eating breakfast 3 times as the only warm meals that were available were a Full English breakfast, omelettes, and pancakes. I would've thought that they would switch things up now and then, but this didn't happen. I've been to a few 4 star hotels that have provided a variety of good quality warm breakfast options in rotation so that you get something different everyday, shame this hotel wasn't one of them. The room service was great, the cleaners were lovely and came everyday (apart from Wednesdays). However, on two of the days, I came home to bedsheets with small drops of blood stains on it which was grim. Also, I keep my eye mask on the bed and during our stay when our bedsheets had been changed, I couldn't find it at night time - I assume that it was accidentally taken away with the old bedsheets. I looked everywhere again on our last day when we were packing and still couldn't find it. Obviously, this is just an eye mask so I'm not too bothered about it, but the reason why I am mentioning this is because it would have been a lot worse if there was anything more valuable on the bed. During our holiday, my partner got food poisoning and I got heat stroke so we were stuck in our hotel room for a few days. We wanted to watch the TV to keep us entertained. Unfortunately, we were unable to watch anything on the TV apart from the cable channels, even though the TV had the options to select Netflix / YouTube / Amazon Prime. I rung reception to ask about this and they said that "there isn't enough WiFi" for this. If anything, I wasn't too surprised about this, as the WiFi was extremely weak in our room, so we just used 5G our entire stay. I am quite disappointed with this, as I thought that surely being able to watch Netflix and having stable WiFi connection should be the absolute minimum standard to a 4 star hotel. Even 3 star hotels would provide you strong and stable WiFi. Other than this, we really liked the room and the outside terrace. We liked that the reception sell 5L water bottles for €1.50. It saved us from having to walk to a supermarket and carrying heavy bottles of water back. Although I must say that these 5L water bottles aren't advertised really well! Overall I don't think we will be returning this to the hotel. If I had known that there would be quite a few issues (breakfast, TV, Wifi), I wouldn't have booked this hotel in the first place. It's a shame as we really liked the room itself.

First impressions was fairly good , the apartment was fairly modern an clean. Downside of the room was the headboard of the bed was against the window and light coming through the bottom of the bedroom curtains at first light, had to adhoc place items accordingly to prevent to much light coming in too early Disappointed that it was €2:5 euro a day to hire the safe in your room , as a 4 star I felt it should be free . The cleaning teams work really hard and are very pleasant like all the staff in the hotel . The breakfast was typical cold and cooked options and suppose there is something for everyone , a downside was there was no water available. With half board it was disappointing that there was no option to swap evening meal for afternoon meal. The food was okay but not as good as some 3 star hotels I’ve been in but acceptable , although I thought at times food could have been hotter The pool was FREEZING and as a 4 star I would have expected a heated pool . The hotel was a 1km from the main strip but a nice walk and taxi back for €3:50-4:00 . Entertainment , well it appeared that there wasn’t anything that would have kept us there in the evening . Another downside was the transfer bus does not drop you off at the hotel but approx 100 m away and on pick up . Nice place but proximity from the main thoroughfare of PDC sea front is a bit too far out in my opinion, but would suit others

This part of Lanzarote is very hilly, the hotel is up quite a steep hill from the seafront a taxi is around €3.80. The hotel itself I couldn't fault it, it's clean with spacious rooms. (2 double bedrooms and a sofa bed if needed). The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and loungers available. The food was as it should be, a nice buffet breakfast. With hot and continental options, coffee and juices included. We also paid for an evening meal package which again had lots of choices. The staff are friendly and helpful. ***CASHLESS BAR*** All the bars in the hotel are CASHLESS, You can open a tab and pay in cash at reception. You can hire pool towels for €10 each which is returned when the towels are returned. I would definitely stay here again.

We're at the end of a week's holiday here and after reading some of the previous reviews before we came we were dubious! However, from the moment we arrived the staff have been amazing and friendly. The hotel is clean and although the rooms are a little dated they are comfortable and kept clean. Reception staff have been helpful and informative, nothing has been too much trouble. The food is tasty and plenty to choose from, could be a little warmer and that's probably our only slightly negative comment. The restaurant staff are all friendly as are the bar staff. The pool in the main area is lovely, inviting and warm. The entertainment staff are amazing, they genuinely seem happy in their work and there's plenty to do through the day and evening. We would definitely return here, it's been a fabulous relaxing winter get away.

Room was always clean which is the most important thing. Don't expect high end rooms as they are well used but by no means do I down cry the accommodation as it was very comfy. All the staff are very friendly and there is nothing they won't do to help you. We don't mind a bit of a walk to get into the middle of things but if you want to be right in the middle this isn't the best place. I however loved our stay and would certainly return. One last thing, there is only 1 set of communal toilets for the main dining room, pool and bar in the main complex which unfortunately were constantly blocked and not exactly clean. Hope this review is helpful.

Coming towards the end of our one week stay here, generally happy with this hotel. Think our review follows the trend of many before... Great location! Rooms very very basic, we didn't spend much time in it though so not a massive factor in our experience. Food was very good most of the time however, often evening meal dishes were extremely heavy in salt though, actually inedible! Don't know wether this was down to change of staff.... Hotel facilities were good, choice of three pools including a heated one. Very clean and adequate staffing. Last point not really relevant to the hotels review but may be important to other English guests.... Most of the guests here were French and German, not many English at all. This was great for us as we were escaping the UK but made us realise us English aren't so bad after all 😂

First of all the hotel is in a good spot, down the road had bars and restaurants. The appartment was very dated and old, not in the hotel its self but behind it. Pool area nice but could not use for 3 days as someone poo in it. Food not great if your a fussy person. Would not return to this hotel but area nice.

Have been here for a few days and have to say that we are really, really impressed with the cleanliness of entire place. Staff are amazingly helpful and friendly and all very hard working.. Lucky enough to have room right above pool with amazing view of ocean. I have walking disability but everything I need is close to hand, Keep in mind if you have mobility issues you would be best contacting direct for your needs, apartments are located on steep hill but taxi fares are very reasonable. Many restaurants and bars in local area. We will return.

We stayed here for 6 days over the Easter Holidays. We weren’t sure what to expect as this was our first holiday in an Aparthotel. The rooms are very spacious. As well as beds and seating, there is A/C, a fridge, a microwave, a TV, a safe, and a well equipped bathroom. Our room was great for the duration of our stay especially because of the balcony with a sea view. The only minor issue was that our door (room 2112) got a bit jammed when opened and requires a bit of a slam when closing which is a bit of a security issue when it doesn’t close properly because we returned to our room in the afternoon after a visit from housekeeping and our door was half opened. The staff are excellent and attentive, especially the restaurant and reception staff. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly so thanks to the housekeeping staff too! The hotel is within close proximity to the beach, and bars and restaurants. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill. There is a bus stop within a 5 minute walk. Thank you to everyone who made out me stay amazing, we will be back soon ! :) 👏🏻

A nice hotel overall but for us, lacks that 4* edge. On the surface, this is a beautiful hotel. The reception is clean and tidy, the pool area is lovely with a decent amount of sun beds, one area which overlooks the sea. The clientele (end of Feb) was middle-older aged people, mostly couples who were all very quiet. We barely heard anyone talk around the sunbeds! The room itself was good. Lovely balcony and view, large living space with a TV and kettle, toaster etc (self-catering). Air con in both living room and bedroom (albeit not that great). Location is perfect. Right off the main strip at the top of the very steep hill, and next to the beach. Lots of supermarkets in walking distance. However, a few things niggled us, which at a 4* I wouldn't expect. The front door seemed to require a "knack" to open it, which we learnt after speaking to reception staff. We found the ladies at reception quite cold and unwelcoming. "Snooty" comes to mind. The balcony door scraped along the floor, which was annoying and also left a mark on the flooring. The bowls in the cupboard weren't exactly bowls, more like deep plates. Cereal with milk felt risky. Not great when you're self-catering. The hand wash in the bathroom was broken, silly I know but frustrating - it also required a "knack". The paintwork in the room was more of a 2* standard also. You also have to pay extras. The WIFI isn't free, unless you sit in the reception area only (doesn't work by the pool) and you have to keep getting a code to re-connect. You are given pool/beach towels but advised that if they need replacing, its €1 each time. I have been to plenty of 4 star hotels that offer the above for free, and had happy customers because of it. The cleaning staff also bang around quite early, which was rather annoying. Overall we had a great holiday, and the negatives of the hotel didn't ruin our trip but we will definitely try a different hotel when we return.

Had a great time here! Super quiet location and sparkling clean apartments. The kitchen was fully loaded with all you could need to cook a meal with, including some snazzy aprons! The staff were excellent about removing towels from beds that people had placed early in the AM and didn't show-up for. There was always a spot available at 11AM (by the pool) which couldn't be said for other places! The other bed areas were a lot quieter, especially down by the round-beds. Those were hardly ever taken!

Very warm welcome on arrival. Our room was lovely & bright & had everything we needed. We had a nice big balcony but did notice that a few rooms near us did not have balconies & I would have been gutted if we'd been allocated one of those. There were shops & restaurants only a few minutes walk away as was the beach. All staff (reception, cleaners & restaurant) were friendly & hardworking & very helpful. Pool was a lovely temperature & although quite small never got very busy. As with everywhere there were the usual sun bed reservers first thing, but we always managed to get a sunbed when we used the pool later on in the afternoon on several days. We weren't interested in the entertainment so can't comment on that. There was an attractive & quiet terrace near us with sunbeds & couches etc. which we would have used more often but unfortunately it was closed for most of our stay for the balcony rails to be painted. This took a ridiculous amount of time & was still not finished at the end of our 10 day stay. Food........ breakfast & lunch were very good. Evening meal ok but could have done with a bit more choice some nights. I visited the spa once for a massage which I thoroughly enjoyed & can recommend. We chose this hotel because it was adults only & it made for a very peaceful & relaxing holiday.

Pros - staff are great. Spa area was interesting in as much as the jacuzzi was very cold, the shower didn't have a head on it. It smells strange eg slightly drain smell. Not exactly conducive to relaxing, at least it was included with the holiday and I didn't spend actual money on it. There is a squash court in the spa, which looked good although I didn't make use of this. Unable to walk away with more than two drinks from the bar which although I understand why this may be the case is highly annoying when walking to and fro with drinks for friends. Pool area is good. Comfortable sun loungers , towels had to be rented and paid for when you arrive, feels cheap. Have to buy a plastic cup to take onto the pool area , good idea to avoid glass breakage and injury on the pool side. Food is reasonable, overall enjoyed the food. Fruit was lovely, good selection and well ripened. Lack of milk next to the coffee machine, inability to help yourself to beer when coming in from the pool side meant there were queues at the bar area The on tap wines in the restaurant area were absolutely undrinkable and vile, I wish they wouldn't waste the hotels money in buying this in. Wine has to be taken down to dinner from the bar area. Staff seemed polite and helpful when asked. The standard of English is generally limited. Onsite entertainment improved over the time we were there. Room was excellent, clean and tidy, cleaning daily was helpful. Overall a great place to stay to explore the island. Plenty of trips out, local car rental was easily accessible if needed. Buses run regularly and are within a two minute walk. Recommended

Great location. Supermarket and beach just a 3 minute walk down the hill. Rooms relatively nice and clean. Food choices varied and most of the time you will find something you like. Also the egg bar was well managed and eggs properly cooked. Ladies in the spa were very nice and massage fantastic. All inclusive drinks very weak. Not worth the money for sure. Half board is more ththannough here. Spa area very outdated; paint falling off walls; jacuzzi smelled bad.

Lovely little hotel very clean and well maintained. Food always hot and well presented limit choice but you must remember this is only a small hotel and you can't expect a vast amount of choice . There is a hot plate area in the restaurant where fresh meat is cooked on request most nights meat on offer is pork which unfortunately I don't eat so I would go to the prepared food area and some nights the meat on offer in this area was also pork on the same night, so would recommend a small change in menu and offer a different precooked meat option in prepared area . All staff are very friendly and hard working. Evening entertainment was a let down was looking forward to not having to sit through kids entertainment hour as this it an adult only hotel, early evening entertainment was the compare teaching salsa dancing which is fine for early evening entertainment . A lovely young lady sings every Tuesday she was very entertaining but unfortunately for the rest of the week you have to make your own entertainment with karaoke which is great if you have a good group of people in that will get up and sing but unfortunately this didn't happen every night and if no one sings the compare puts the radio on , the compare should be able to entertain guests , on our last night we thought he had gone home early because the radio was left on and he was nowhere to be seen until 11 o'clock he appeared and said goodnight this is not acceptable evening entertainment. I would recommend giving the girl who entertains on a Tuesday a full-time job.

Very nice little hotel with friendly atmosphere. Staff were great; very friendly and hardworking. Rooms were fairly nice and cleaned regularly. Location was superb; Playa de Los Pocillos has a great beach and shops, including a good tour organiser which took us to Timanfaya on one of the days (Low Cost Tours Europe if you're interested). Cheap local buses were also quite good for going to Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise, and Arrecife. Entertainment was decent; the live music on the Tuesday night was particularly good. Wasn't overly fussed about the karaoke but some will enjoy it. Heated pool outside was much appreciated in December and we swam in it daily. Food was decent too; usually an alright selection, sometimes felt a bit samey but there was enough choice available for my partner and I. Found the cooked breakfast rather salty so generally didn't bother with it but plenty of other things on offer so that's just being picky really. Decent variety of drinks at bar and didn't have to pay extra for anything on all inclusive. All in all, very happy with the place considering the price we paid (visited in December so it was off-peak), and we'd definitely tell other holidaymakers to consider it for a cheap and relaxed winter sun break. Nice massages.

Fabulous short stay here last week! Apartment was fabulous, really spacious, spotlessly clean, lovely balcony, super bathroom with luxury toiletries and the most comfortable beds with blackout and no noise. Mary & Carmen at reception were so friendly and helpful. The pool area so relaxing & spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet was very substantial, I personally would have liked more fresh fruit variety but plenty hot & cold choice. Highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing stay for a bit of luxury while being right in the centre of town.

The rooms were really nice with confortable beds also the sofa bed is very comfy however no air conditioning just a fan. The service was good staff really friendly, great choice of food for breakfast that is served from 7.30am to 10.30am. The only disappointing thing was not enough sunbeds for the size of the place, swimming pool was lovely and warm. Good free WiFi Location was ok, if you want to go down to the strip you can jump a taxi or if you like walking it would take about 15 mins to go right into the heart of the strip or you could stay around near the hotel as there is bars and restaurants. There is also a supermarket next to the apartments.

Just returned from two weeks in the fariones apartments and would highly recommend. We were a group of 4 adults and one 6 month old baby. Provided with cot, fresh towels/sheets daily for beds and the cot bed. Handy for any patents with small babies. Air con in rooms was great and thankfully not noisy. Fridge, 2 jobs, microwave and plenty of plates/cutlery/ bottle opener, etc . The breakfast here was Exceptional such a huge selection of hot and cold buffet, fresh fruits and pastries and varied hot food daily, along with all the staples. Pool area lovely, loungers fill up quickly but great there's no charge. Lovely hot tub and additional sun loungers on roof deck too. Location wise, very close to beach and both the main strip and old town. Would definitely return.

It is my favorite holiday destination,the apartments are very clean with ample room.The sun beds catch the sun all day long especially the rooftop area. The breakfast is amazing with items to cater for everyone, Celiacs are well catered for also (just ask) The staff are lovely and friendly and very accommodating.nothing is a problem for them.. When you walk outside the complex you can choose to go right to the old town or left to the new town …. Both of which offer amazing restaurants. We will definitely be back to stay and and cannot recommend the complex high enough.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They say it's home from home, and it really feels like that. The resort is small and compact great swimming pools for all the family I have given the location five stars because it's in a quiet area across from the beach and plenty of places to eat and shops locally.

Stayed many times and always enjoyed our time there. This time stayed with a family group in a 2 bed apartment and a villa. Accomodation perfect, modern, well maintained. Service also excellent from front office to the maintenance crew and pool lifeguard. Also staff around Bailys bar/ restaurant were friendly, provided good service with a smile. Only complaint was for little things such as charge for renting pool towels. Most other accomodation it is included. Also fees for late check out or early arrival if the accomodation was available. Check out at 10am but could pay per hour to stay in room if it was available. Again most other accomodation is 12.00 check out. Similar issue with early check in if you want access to room earlier. However these are minor issues and would definitely recommend Club del Carmen.

I recently stayed at Club del Carmen, and I feel it’s important to share my experience, which was notably marred by misrepresentation and a distinct lack of value for the price paid. Despite the hotel being fully booked, it seems the management is comfortable with selling accommodations that starkly contrast with their advertised offerings, evidently misleading consumers. We were assigned to unit 1A, and to our dismay, found that our view consisted of the back entrance, toilets, and garbage bins, a significant deviation from the promotional material. For the price of €185 per night, we expected a level of quality and comfort that was simply not met. The discrepancy between the hotel’s online portrayal and the reality of our accommodation was not only misleading but suggested a deliberate lack of transparency. Furthermore, the hotel’s full occupancy is no excuse for compromising on guest experience or misrepresenting the nature of their accommodations. The fact that we paid a premium price for our stay only added to our disappointment. Another point of dissatisfaction was discovering an undisclosed age restriction on the Jacuzzi, a facility we had particularly looked forward to using. This significant restriction, not communicated upfront, further highlights the hotel’s failure to ensure transparency. In summary, my experience at Club del Carmen fell significantly short of expectations, especially considering the high nightly rate. This review is intended to caution potential guests: verify all details before booking, as the reality at Club del Carmen may be quite different from what is promised, despite a high price point.

We were here in August/September. We booked this hotel due to not being able to fly for another week due to air traffic control problems in the UK. We was very much surprised in the best way. Room: spacious, clean and have everything you need. Air condition is very strong something helpful when with a baby and young child. Amenities: reception is lovely. Theres communication thru whatsapp. Can ask for towels and housekeeping using whatsapp. Theres a laundry for 5 euros i believe. Bar staff are proactive and there’s entertainment at night. Theres a little kids club where they can play and read books and colour. Big plus for those with children Pool: theres a life guard that can be more active our lifeguard was on the phone all the time. Theres an accessible pool aswell and good size for myself and child. Jacuzzi is nice and lovely. Sun beds you have to pre book although we were there summer/end summer it didnt get busy. People were polite and no one was sun bed hogging. Location: its toward the end of a busy strip but still a very lovely quiet neighbourhood. Lots of shops and restaurants around. Close walk to the beach and theres a viewing area for around 10 mins walk. Overall its exceeded our expectations. Its only 3 stars but it super lovely and quaint and i would definitely go back.

We spent 10 days in the hotel and we loved it!! ( 3 generations traveled together) The check-in was easy, and receptionist was friendly and helpful. People complain about food and different things and I don't really get it. I guess some people just love complaining .... The breakfast and dinner had great variety and was presented nicely. There were healthy and hearty options so people can pick their preference. My daughter has celiac disease and they were able to offer her gluten-free options. Thank you. The waiters were friendly and professional and were working fast. I had my birthday during our stay and I had a bottle of sparkling wine with a card waiting for me in the room. What a nice touch. Thank you! The rooms were cleaned spotless every day and so was the pool and its area. We loved that the hotel was in a quiet area of town so noise wasn't an issue. The location was excellent, across a beach and close to the town centre with shops, restaurants and cafes. Thanks for the great stay! Hopefully we can return soon!

Nice clean rooms. We stayed half board. Breakfast was good with a wide range for all. Evening meal was a bit hit and miss and not a huge selection to choose from so some evenings was difficult for the kids (quite picky) to find something to eat. Evening entertainment wasn't for us, basically singers most nights. About a 25-30 minute walk to main towns so not too far away. We stayed as a family of 5 so were allocated 2 rooms, I had asked if we could have adjoining rooms or side by side. However we were given rooms in different blocks so not overly happy as I think families so been given side by side rooms as even though my eldest two are 16 and 17 I still want them close by. On the whole the holiday was very enjoyable, spacious rooms,clean grounds and within walking distance of everywhere. I would recommend to others.

An overall pleasant stay here to start the year off. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The staff are very friendly. Around 10/15mins walk to the centre of town. I did notice a lack of CCTV at the hotel especially outside of rooms etc. Rooms always cleaned when needed and plenty of sun beds to choose from. I would recommend staying here.

Just got back from weekend in this hotel, the location of the place it's the most positive about it , food is very average, some of meals are not even worm or just about. The rules of the dress code for dinner are different for each guest, evening entertainment would say it's not what we usually experience in 4* hotels ...., 90% of quest in hotel 70+ of age . They do have an some kind of card system for your meals and drinks where you got to keep on you to present for staff... we now in XXI century can could be easy improve to much more efficient system... In general it's OK hotel if you want something seafront other then that is definitely not a 4*

Really enjoyed out stay at this hotel. The reception staff were super friendly and the bar staff were always on hand to serve drinks quickly. Restaurant staff were attentive and the food was excellent. Some of the best food I have had in an all inclusive hotel! The rooms were a little outdated but I do know they are getting slowly refurbished so its not a big deal. Great location and even looked at returning again next year! Thank you!

My mother and I arrived to the hotel from the airport and a cold plate of dinner was left for us in the main dinning hall. Unfortunately when we went to eat our food I saw several large cockroaches all over the buffet bar where food is placed for hotel guests. I brought this to the attention of the Hotel Manager and he said he was very sorry and that he was sure it was a "one off" and wouldn't happen again during our 2 week stay. He also said he would take €100 off of our poolside bill at the end of our trip. I had stomach problems the whole first week I was at this hotel. To our horror a week later we were eating dinner at our table and a large cockroach came out from the pillar onto our dinning table and was crawling up towards our plated. I informed a member of staff and he got rid of it. Then another cockroach crawled out onto our table. We left without eating our dinner and had to spend a whole week paying to eat out in restaurants. Maybe it was just a coincidence but after I stopped eating in the hotel my stomach problems went away. I don't like to leave a bad review but this is a hygiene issue and there is obviously a food safety concern with this hotel.

Myself and my partner were here in January for my 50th. We went all inclusive for the first time ever and it was so worth it. It’s a huge hotel with pool bar and 2 pools, top pool is the nicest. Beach towels are €10 deposit, which was a great idea. Food was lovely and drink was plenty. The entertainment wasn’t great but we had a great time chatting with other guests. The room was a little dated but the bed was very comfortable. Shower was huge and always had clean towels. The staff are absolutely wonderful. I ended up very sick with a chest infection, cough and a fever. They all looked after me and the day of my birthday, I got a bottle of champagne, fruit, water and a lovely note from them. There is a small beach but I only had a quick look at it. We are definitely going back again.

Poo wiped on a baby wipe in kids pool . Plants in kids pool.it wasn’t cleaned. Cockroach in dining hall. The air con in the room barely did anything. The extractor fan did absolutely nothing in the bathroom the walls were drip wet through, we complained and was told this is how the extractor is abroad. The food on a night wasn’t very kid friendly and neither were the entertainment on a night. There seemed to be entertainment aimed at the locals who came and line danced every night taking up most of the dance floor. Hotel should be more 3 star rather than 4, only positive was it’s location.

Recently back from a short break at this lovely hotel. Absolutely loved the location, being that close to the beach was perfect for me. There was a reasonably priced supermarket opposite or a Spar a 10 minute walk away. The main strip of bars are a shortish walk away and a taxi rank situated just down the road, along with a bus stop. Check in was easy and reception staff most polite and helpful. Found the bed very comfortable, loved that there were English channels on the TV as this was a quiet break for me and I wasn't going to be staying up late. Food was nice. All staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. Even though this was a solo trip I never felt alone or lonely and felt very safe in my room and around the resort in general. I would love to come back in the future.

Me and my mum got food poisoning on the second day of our trip (only there for 4 days so this ruined the holiday) vomiting and diarrhoea, we also saw and heard a number of other guests vomiting. The entertainment has been good in the evenings, but we were disappointed at how early it stopped, with the bar only serving drinks until 11.30pm, but there was nothing to do after 10.30pm. There is lots to do for families and kids, and while we don't have kids, we have to say that the staff were brilliant with them! There were lots of activities during the day in the pool etc which is great to see. The cleaning staff for our room have been absolutely brilliant, ensuring that it got cleaned even if we had a lie in, we are very grateful! It is in a prime location with a beautiful beach, lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The pool area is lovely with music playing all day, it is a great atmosphere. It has been mainly very quiet at nights which has been great, no trouble and a very safe area. We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closed on our first night, the food was not good - cold and not a great selection especially for an all inclusive. Despite advertising a pool bar and snacks, it has been closed for two days of our stay!!! This meant that you couldn't get a drink until 6/6.30pm in the evening unless you wanted to go into the restaurant for a soft drink or wine out of a pump! I have been in hotels before in Lanzarote were you could have cocktails all day! We had to then go out elsewhere and spend money despite being all inclusive. Waiting staff are very rude in the restaurant, grabbing your plates before you have finished half of the time. Plates weren't being cleaned properly, I lifted a plate from the stacked up clean plates and it was covered in sauce on the bottom which I got all over myself. The cocktails were extremely watered down, closer to juice! The TV in the room is terrible, no smart function, very limited channels, unable to cast the phone to TV as well, TV is glitching constantly and the sound is going on it. There is no tea and coffee in the room, we have had tea, coffee, biscuits and milk in a 3 star hotel plenty of times before, I don't think this is much to ask... There were tea stains all up the wall in the room next to the bin. The first night I arrived my bed sheets were stained. We were given two single beds despite stating that we are a couple when booking. The food was very similar most nights, with very little variation, and the food was mediocre, I would expect a much higher quality than this. A couple of nights were great, but most were disappointing . You could almost predict the menu- bread, cheese, salad, meatballs, pasta, cannelloni, chips, a small selection of meat, fruit and sweets. When we left our room there was a pile of crisps crushed into the stairway and wasn't cleaned for three days. We are really disappointed and we expected a lot more from a four star hotel. Friends stayed here before COVID and said it was a brilliant hotel, sadly it has gone downhill. You are also charged 3 euro per day to use the safe which is crazy!

Hi, overall, the hotel is 100% a great location very close to the airport, the beach is literally a stones throw from the back of the hotel, the staff are very friendly and the house keeping was done every day....It's our 2nd time to stay and judging this stay from the last, the huge difference was the food the 1st time we stayed it was class great choice a d very tasty, but this time it was terrible very poor selection and not nice... Seeing as for us, we booked because it was all-inclusive. I would expect the food to be nice.. As for the drink, the cheapest of the cheap !!!

After looking at the photos of this hotel and the reviews, my girlfriend and I were excited about this hotel and its all-inclusive experience. Upon arriving at the hotel around 4:30PM local time, we were greeted by a friendly hotel receptionist who explained the workings of the hotel and how we could maximize our experience during our stay. We were given a standard metal key to our room along with two electronic key cards, This confused us a little but we eventually arrived to the room to see the electronic cards were for the power and the one metal key was for access. We were given a wheelchair access room which is not what we booked, We said we would make do with what where given however there were no windows in the room just the sliding door to get in and out of the room to the main entrance right beside the pool. The A/C also worked poorly and didn't provide much comfort. Later that night after being out for most of the evening we returned to find a Cockroach in our sink in the bathroom(When I say this was pretty large I was firstly taken back by the sheer size of the insect). I understand with a hot climate you can come across these, but not what are supposed to be freshly cleaned hotel rooms! of course, we no longer wanted to make do with the room that wasn't what we booked and also full of insects and bacteria! We went to reception and it looked like the staff changed as the previous helpful employee wasn't there anymore, We explained the situation and they said we couldn't change rooms until the morning when they could see what they had available. As this is off-season and I can see the hotel isn't at full capacity I couldn't believe they were disregarding our complaint with the photos and proof we showed them. Eventually, after going back and forward they gave us the room we originally booked and on the top floor to avoid any insects again I presume. (I don't understand why they couldn't have given us that room to begin with to save the messing about). Also during 4 Days we were there, the buffet had a wide selection of traditional and international selections, but not many vegetarian options. However each day we were there, anything that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm or cold, we tried everything to try to get a portion of hot food (go early as they opened the buffet for "fresh food", and wait for the chef to serve fresh food after cooking and go at different times to see if it mattered). This applies to all buffets, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Thankfully the restaurants close by were delicious however this took the whole premium of going to an all-inclusive point out of the holiday. In Summary: Don't go for the food as it was cold every day, the rooms were not cleaned up to standards as cockroaches made it their home, and don't go to this hotel if you need wheelchair access due to poor ventilation

Tge friendliness of all the staff at this wonderful hotel what was stood out, from management to the cleaning ladies, the receptionists, the waiters, the lifeguard,... absolutely everyone, always with a smile and willing to help. It has been a superb holiday, thanks to the staff and the beautiful of the island. Totally different from everything else, and perhaps that is it's charm. I really want to go back to a place like this. Totally recommend both the island and the hotel.

Just returned from a 10 night self catering stay. What a great time we had. Service from all the staff, from reception, bar, housekeeping, went above and beyond and a big shout out to Alex (animation), really made us laugh and socialised with all. Excellent service. As self catering, that's what we like, we even ordered food from the bar menu, which was lovely and well presented that had been prepared from the restaurant. The paella and sangria that was given to everyone on a Thursday was amazing. The all inclusive burgers, hot dogs and cakes that were available for the all inclusive clients at lunch time, were available from the bar and sat in covered food canisters. The only thing no utensils, for the bread rolls and cakes and everyone just putting there hands in them to touch the food and then even some people putting them back, and these were sat out for more than two hours. In my opinion that not good. Some people didn't even close the food canisters, so bread rolls and cakes going hard, and burgers and hot dogs going cold . The rooms very clean, cleaned regular and bedding and towels changed. The beds are so comfortable. Only one niggle we were on ground floor, our decision, but the dragging of furniture from the apartments above by other residents and possible housekeeping was horrendous, but can't be helped. Location is really central and a 5 minute walk to a spar or hiperderma supermarket. We wished we could have booked a pool view room, we rang Jet2, as this is who we booked with, to upgrade and was told pool view rooms were available but the hotel hadn't released any to Jet2 for customers to upgrade to.

This was my third stay at this hotel. I like the location being close to beach, the spacious apartments, all the staff from cleaners to managers are nice, helpful and professional, the food is very nice.. Even sunbeds were always available. I can't think of anything negative to say. We had little problems with WiFi, but only because they were installing the faster fiber optic broadband. We were there twice as group of friends and once as a couple. I'd recommend it.

If you love cockroaches, and next to nothing being done. This is your place. We did go to reception a bunch of times about our many issues. In the first 3 days our rooms weren't cleaned once. In our whole stay they didn't properly clean the floors. A cleaner told us to use poison on the cockroaches. The room that had the worst problem with cockroaches, had a different poison than our other rooms specifically for cockroaches. So the hotel was aware of them, and still they are renting that room out.

Everything was perfect here, beautiful gardens and areas to sit around both inside and outside. The food was great, couldn't fault it and the restaurant staff were so friendly and nice. Plenty of activities during the day. Rooms cleaned every day if you wanted this. The whole place was spotless. We went half board, you could swop evening meal for lunch if it suited you. We did this 2 days and went out for an evening meal. Lovely piano bar for a drink before dinner or after. Huge lounge with nightly shows and entertainment. All in all a very relaxing holiday, we will return.

Good all-inclusive hotel. Clean, spacious rooms with all the usual amenities. Excellent food variety. Good shows. Great cocktails and bottled drinks. A proper heated pool that was excellent. No issues getting sun loungers. Great location, just in front of the beach. Everything was good and we'd be happy to go back. If we had to change anything would be that the animation team doesn't speak Spanish and for that reason our daughter couldn't really participate in the mini club activities. While there are some snacks in between meals, it would be great to get more variety. All in all, a good experience and a good family hotel.

Been coming to this hotel for over 10 years. It is consistently good. Great beach location. Lovely gardens. Food is varied, and always buffet service. Great freshly cooked seafood and fish. Very reasonable prices, or all inclusive option. It is a relaxed hotel. A place to unwind. The main sport is tennis, with great courts and coaching. Cycling options available. Cleanliness is superb and service in all departments is 10/10.

We are currently staying in the hotel and have very mixed feelings about it. The hotel in itself is very pretty, canaries style. The room is very comfortable with a nice view. The kids facilities are good and practical, even though the mini club is more to leave the little ones for 1 or 2 hours, but this does the trick. Very nice game room, good mini golf and nice night activities with live show. The big let down is the low level of food (very industrial) and the level of service which is not what we expected. We mentioned we were coming for our 10th wedding anniversary and no single attention whilst they mentioned we would get a special treat. Also, when needing something, reception / guest service hardly picks up the phone and that’s a big shame and is exhausting. Appreciate they can be very busy but still should have a dedicated line. I am currently waiting a missing towel in my room (and this for a while)despite going to reception and calling room service which doesn’t pick up the phone. Little things accumulating but which doesn’t make the stay memorable at all. Won’t return

Stayed here for 7 nights with my family (3 year old daughter) towards the end of March. I cannot compliment the staff at Seaside Los Jameos Playa enough from right from the beginning gave us an excellent service. A few call outs - Marina at front desk when dealing with my upgrade request, Noemi and Sandra from guest services who went above and beyond on my request to make my wife and daughter's birthdays special and the entire Kids club team who work tirelessly throughout the day to keep kids entertained but then again at the Kids disco. My daughter had the best time. The kids disco every evening is a game changer - she had so much fun with so many other kids but also it made her super tired! Food options were great - we usually would never stay somewhere with only one restaurant but the daily options and themed nights were great. Soo many fresh meat and fish options. I can't comment for vegetarians but we didn't get bored. The resort on the whole is good. Rooms are great - the double room is a bit small if you have kids hence the request to upgrade to Junior suite which was far spacious. Love the pools by the kids club as they were safe/shallow enough for my daughter to play without me needing to get in and the little playground on the sandy bit is fantastic! We didn't really explore much but it is so easy to wonder onto the beach front which has lots of shops and restaurants, so location wise it is great - including the fact it was a 10 min drive from the airport!!

Fantastic week late November 2023. Superb staff and lovely resort with spacious suite of rooms which perfectly suited our family group of 3 adults. All clean and in excellent condition. On site dining was very good at all times. Lovely swimming pools and plenty of sunbeds around the pools and on private terraces. Great location with a short walk down to the main areas. All staff really are exceptional - would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and return again ourselves.

Can't complain about anything in aqua suites. Quiet location 10mins from strip down a manageable hill. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. Currently in room 112 with view over pool and large adult only jacuzzi. Room cleaned daily to high standard. All staff very friendly. Can't comment on tea as we ate out on nights. Super bar halfway down hill on left above supermarket ( the spinnaker). Would highly recommend aqua suites.

Stayed here with family. Lovely rooms in pristine condition. Quiet location on outskirts of the town but a handy walk to the bustling main street. Breakfast was very good every morning. It's a small enough hotel so felt comfortable. Pool and jacuzzi were very cold in December despite the bright sunshine (it was 21°) but a few brave swimmers enjoyed it.

Exceptional hotel proper located in a quieter part of the town. This is an adult only hotel so it is understandably that bit quieter overall. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious. The pool bar serves really nice dishes. Breakfast is a buffet affair, but with extensive made to order menu for freshly cooked dishes. Great coffee too. Excellent staff. I would return here without hesitation.

The swimming pool is quite shallow and the gymnasium, although quite modern, wasn’t particularly well equipped. However, will we return? Absolutely.

We had a wonderful time at La Isla y El Mar hotel. The staff are amazing - really friendly and remembered us by name. Our room was huge - I believe all rooms are suites so we had a bedroom and a reception room with sofa and comfy chairs. We had a nice sea view and there were also two sun lounger on our patio. We had a slight issue in our room with a smell but from explaining the issue before breakfast, it was resolved by the time we got back from breakfast - really efficient!! The pool area is great and we never found ourselves looking for a sun lounger and the breakfast in the mornings was excellent. We ate out every evening and there are some great restaurants very close to the restaurant with all kinds of cuisine. We truly had a super relaxing holiday and it was just what was needed after a chaotic and hellish few months. Thanks to all the staff at La Isla y El Mar for making that happen!

Probably one of the best hotels on the island. The stylish sun deck is equipped with comfy sun beds, but also provides enough shade for those who need to cool down. The spacious suites offer both a living room and a bedroom and feature a large bathroom with daylight from the top. The safe is big enough to hold a 16 inch Notebook and anything else of value. If you prefer to enjoy the sun without other people around, you have got your very own terrace with two sun chairs. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful at all times. However, the biggest shoutout goes out the restaurant team. Not only is the breakfast amazing, with anything you might desire from the buffet or fresh out of the kitchen, but the real highlight of the day is dinner. No matter what your choice is going to be, meat, fish oder vegetarian, you will never be disappointed. The quality of the food is way above expectations and the staff makes you feel welcome every minute of your stay. Give Ruben and his team a raise, they truly deserve it. Beautiful hotel, the hotel itself is a lovely modern design with well laid out gardens and pools. There are also externally a tennis court, mini golf, pool bar and spa. Internally it has an excellent restaurant, bars, great spa facilities and nice spacious reception area. The food has been wide ranging and of a high standard during our stay. The staff have been professional, helpful and courteous. The rooms are well equipped and have large balconies. Beach access from the hotel is fabulous and it also has large beach beds inside overlooking the sea. It is in an excellent location - the centre of the town is somewhat overly touristy and downtrodden, the area local to the hotel is of a higher standard with a great selection of eateries and bars. I would totally recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future.

Just returned from a lovely stay at this hotel. Food, service, rooms, staff and amenities were top class. When the hotel manager tries to welcome and get to know residents and also helps out serving it certainly sets a very good example of customer care. All staff were very attentive and welcoming but a special mention for Antonio, Nikki and Johnathan who went out of their way to look after us. We had a lovely holiday thank you.

This is probably best service we got in a hotel anywhere in a while. Even for breakfast, where waiting staff usually doesn’t get tipped so service is not at its best. Service in this hotel is absolutely superb. The strongest point by far. Second strongest point is immaculate cleanliness- seriously the hotel is incredibly clean! Location is third strongest point, really nicely located at the miles long beach and close to bars and restaurants. The only three reasons why I didn’t rate it a pure five star is because of the two separate beds pulled together without a mini mattress on top, makes it quite estranged with your spouse, especially if you’re there for the anniversary (which was specified). Secondly, coffee in the room is charged for after you drink first 6 capsules, which makes no sense in a five star hotel with a 300€+ room rate. One morning we ordered extra capsules and waited a full hour before they were delivered. Last but not least, the view was sadly one of the worst we have seen. It is called a park view but it really was a parking view. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again, with a sea view.

Stayed here with husband and our teenagers (boy 13 / girl 17) over the Feb break - we (all of us!) had a really relaxing week in beautiful surroundings and have already booked for next year - and my parents have booked for October! Hotel rooms and public areas super-clean and well maintained; room amenities excellent with really well appointed terraces. Food, service and entertainment great. Location top notch too being really close to restaurants and bars - with a private gate leading to the esplanade and the beach. Very reasonable taxi fares to airport, old town, Arrecife. Absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend.

In Jan 2024 we paid our third visit and we still love it. The rooms are very comfortable, bright and stylish. Breakfast bar has the large range of food you'd expect from a 5 star hotel, including cold fizz next to the juice if you fancy starting the day with a bucks fizz. Mostly adults, a few small children but they aren't geared up for kids which was a plus for us. Stunning gardens with gate on to the path and cycle track turn left or right for restaurants and bars. We had dinner 1 night which was excellent but pricey. Staff are very friendly. Overall a good choice for couples or friends who look for a quality option closest the beach and shops etc. Short transfer from air port but planes are not a nuisance.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. No problems getting a sunbed. Lovely choice of food at breakfast. Good service at the bar and reasonably priced for a hotel. Suites were very well appointed and all balconies faced the sea. Staff helpful and friendly. Really hard pressed to find fault at all. Overall design of the hotel was amazing and looked like the architect was given free reign.

I only spent one night here due to a flight delay. First impressions are wow! Recently refurbished, it really does look fabulous. We were allocated a room that has been adapted for the disabled, it was on the ground floor with a terrace that gave direct access to the swimming pool area. There were also 2 sun loungers on the terrace. The room itself has it's drawbacks, there is no wardrobe just a hanging rail that is part of a wooden unit that houses drawers, a safe and behind a dark glass sliding door a kettle and mugs, a microwave, a fridge and a sink. The hanging rail had about 6 coat hangers and no room for any more. The microwave seemed redundant as there were no plates etc and no cutlery. In the bathroom/wet room was a single sink, a raised toilet and a shower. However the layout meant that after showering and drying to hang a towel on a hook you would have to walk across a wet floor. Breakfast was OK, I had muesli so no real problem there, however my husband had a cooked breakfast which was cold. The hot chocolate from the machine was excellent.

Currently staying at Suites Fariones. Beautiful room 448 with a fantastic sea view. Breakfast is lovely with plenty of choices. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Celebrating my birthday and just arrived up to room to find a lovely gift of champagne and chocolates waiting for me. Can't fault this lovely hotel. Room cleaned every day. Staff work hard to ensure guests have everything they need to have a carefree holiday. Only negative is I have to leave in a few days.

Great Location, great staff (always smiling, attentive and nothing too much trouble), and good entertainment at the end of each day in the bar area. Wide choice of food available (breakfast, lunch and dinner). All meals are buffet type, but food tasty and well cooked and the whole meal experience was was run very smoothly thanks to well trained and very efficient staff. Accommodation - the suites are spacious, well appointed, and we understand the whole places has been recently refurbished, so everything seemed fresh. A well maintained pool area, well served by sunbeds and sun parasols was a pleasure to use, although as the pools are not Olympic size, they are more designed for fun than serious exercise. In short, we enjoyed a lovely week and would certainly stay again. Thank you all at Fariones for making it such a great stay!

Beautiful, clean fantastically located hotel. Very nice staff, great location to all the local amenities, old town and right on the beach also. Didn’t have any issues getting sun beds at any time during our stay in Feb, which was great. I severely hate it when people reserve them and then they are left idle for many hours. Not a problem here. I will definitely return here in the future. Well done Plus Fariones it’s been great!

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. From the moment we step foot on property until we were walking out the door the hotel staff were AMAZING. When we arrived our luggage was taken for us and we were handed a wonderful glass of champagne. We waited a short bit to be personally checked in and explained the property and amenities. Our junior suit was spacious and immaculate. With a perfect view of the sea. From top to bottom the staff was AMAZING. Breakfast buffet every morning was beautiful and so delicious. We enjoyed the beautiful pool everyday, that would be my only advice to the property, to have more poolside staff to place ordered for food/drinks poolside. If you are contemplating this property- I HIGHLY recommend, it will not disappoint. We look forward to our next stay.

What a treasure to find, booked our stay through TUI and the photos do not do this Hotel justice. It is a stunning building which underwent a major refurbished up to 2021. The hotel and rooms are fresh and bright with lovely local touches. The best bit is the staff who are a delight and genuinely want to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible! We came for a birthday treat and the staff found out it was my birthday and left me a delicious chocolate cake. Food and drink all up to 5 star standards with a generously stocked breakfast and lunch buffet station catering for all tastes and dietary needs. Pools area is tiered down to the private beach and there is no shortage of loungers. Cannot recommend this hotel enough for location, accommodation and genuinely top tier service. Thank you Team Fariones, we’ll be back! Update; we have booked Fariones for a stay in 2025!

The location of the hotel is perfect, in the middle of Old and New town, with easy access to both. The hotel is spotless and decorated tastefully. The staff are amazing, every one greets you with a smile and they all try to look after you. Javier on reception was excellent; the hotel hadn't received my request via email prior to my visit but he got it arranged immediately. Our room was spotless and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was fine and they even had sourdough bread which was good. Quick refills with the coffee which I liked. Just a couple of gripes; It's the first time ever where we've booked a suite and not had a sun lounger on the balcony. I bought a yoga mat to lay on but it was uncomfortable. The experience manager said she would get something sorted but I never heard anymore from her. Also, it's the first time in a suite where we've not had pool towels in the room, now you might think this is petty but my next part will make it clear why they're needed. We went up to the roof terrace to sun bathe and swim, the roof terrace was not manned and there were no pool towels anywhere. None of the sun loungers had covers, so again we couldn't lay down anywhere. We sat down on chairs for a bit but then decided it was no better than our balcony. We also thought it was quite dangerous for the pool not to be manned, luckily we're both ok at swimming not so lucky was having no towels and having to go back to our room dripping wet. We would also say that the bar in the evening was seriously short staffed and one evening there was an argument at the bar; we quickly left and went back to our room. We did mention this to reception. Also, the evening entertainment was awful, I've heard better karaoke singers! Plus, they were just singing in the dark which was rather strange; I do believe improvements need to be made. We visited the Asian restaurant within the hotel twice because it was so good! I would 100% recommend anyone to try the restaurant it was so good and Alex and his team were wonderful. If I go back to Puerto Del Carmen I would definitely stay here again and it would be good if the feedback was taken on board. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We used the wellness centre for the lovers secret massage and was not disappointed. The hotel is beautiful and well equipped, very well set out and furnished. There are beautiful views of the sea from its many set out loungers and nooks. The wellness team were fantastic and very welcoming and accommodating. The massage itself took place outside in a set out area where all you could hear was the breeze and the waves of the sea. Our massage included champagne and chocolate which we were able to have in a beautiful location next to the massage area. We definitely recommend and will be back

Hotel lovely. However please make sure to look at check in time. After travelling since 5 am with my elderly mother in her late eighties ....our room was not ready . This meant sitting on sofa in reception for an hour and a half 😨 eventually at 3 pm we were allocated a room. Young man on desk was not helpful just said check in at 3 pm . I had emailed saying my mum had limited mobility and was elderly but no concession was made sadly . By the time we got room we had been travelling for TEN hours .😱mum was exhausted 😔

Staff really friendly and very attentive. Cleaners made sure everything in our apartment was tidy. Yes rooms basic but was somewhere to relax on a night and get our heads down. Had no problems at this hotel at all. We were at the back near the tennis court really quiet and relaxing very little disturbance would definitely stay here again! So will definitely be back!

Just back and I really liked it here. It has both positive & negative aspects. Its location is perfect, supermarkets, lidl, restaurants, shopping centre, main night strip all within a ten minutes walk. Fantastic beach 15 minutes away. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only negative is the pool is to cold and rooms need a make-over but there only small things. I would definitely return.

We stayed here for 11 nights. The staff are really nice. Regularly cleaned with your bed made & fresh sheets & Towels. Cheap bar food available. Tennis court. Table tennis & pool table. 15 mins walk to the harbour or Strip. The apartment's are looking dated although they are clean. Could do with an update. The pool area is really nice. Some of the Sun beds are not the best. This time of the year there are plenty to go around. Would we come back?? Yes.. bargain basement Holiday that is do- able. Nice chilled out holiday👍

The staff here work very hard and will go out of there way for your needs, the barman is over worked and is working the bar as well as the restaurant downstairs and round the pool. It took 15 minutes to get served at the bar due to no one about to serve, I had to go to reception for them to find the barman. The cleaners also hard working. The rooms are basic but perfectly acceptable but could do with a lick of paint in places to freshen up. Lots of cats roaming around the complex and cat poo in the gardens so wear your footwear. Tennis court turns into a playground for all the kids and some adults so forget about having a game of tennis. *HOWEVER *.......the reason I have given 2 stars is down to the pathetic guests that stay here, between 6am and 7.30 am it's like wacky races when holiday makers bolt to the pool to get there sun lounger, then go back to there rooms or back to bed. One guy went down with 9 towels to claim sun loungers and was not seen at the pool until late afternoon....get a life man !!! This morning ritual should be BANNED ! not once did we get a bed by the pool and we are early risers and did not even get to dip my toe in the pool so we spent the whole holiday outside the complex. I have posted a picture of the pool area at 9.25am where all the beds are taken with towels. I would NEVER return to this complex, in fact I've booked across the road for November as so disappointed with my stay here.

The location was useful for self catering being next to a Lidl and other smaller supermarkets. Also close to major bus routes for day trips out. A ten minute or so walk into the old town and harbour similar down to the main beach and strip. Staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms are basic but what you normally find on self catering package tours. Electric hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and some pots and pans. Rooms were cleaned regularly and sheets changed but we found two cockroaches in the room. We were told this is usual for Lanzarote but assured not usual for the hotel. Lots of stray cats in the area but they were well behaved. Other guests were a problem with a group of nice young boys next to us making noise and having a good fight leading to our terrace area being covered in their pasta. When reception were informed they had a word and were quieter. People above us spent their time throwing their cigarettes off their balcony into the garden below where they remained for the duration of our stay. Swimming pool was nice with separate area for young kids and a jacuzzi. The pool was cold for our young kids but didn't seem to bother other people. Despite being told not to reserve sun beds people did meaning that if you didn't get up early you didn't get one. There is a kid's play area which sadly has not been maintained, bolts missing from swings, graffiti and rubbish around. An area for smaller children exists but consisted of two small wobbly activities and that was it. Overall a pleasant stay but let down by lack of upkeep and renovation.

Hairdryer towels and toiletries provided (not enough shower gel or shampoo for a week) The staff where very friendly, especially the guys working in the dinning area. Good bike hire options at reception Nice little shop at reception (a little expensive but good if you have no other option) Coffee machine Fruit juice Bad things. Not enough beds around the pool area. Pool isn't heated The lady behind reception has no customer service skills. When we checked out there was no "thank you for staying with us, hope to see you again" nothing. Apart from that I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's amazing value and have stayed in worse hotels with spending more money!

This is the worst apartment i have ever stayed at never be back. It was very basic. Beds only single beds .bed linen looked like it was out of a hospital no joke.but that's not the worst thing we booked all-inclusive that was a joke drink was served in a really small plastic cup. And drinks were very basic and not of good quality.the food was the biggest joke of all really poor quality of food. Not a good choice of food. And could not eat it. So had to eat out all the time.so big waste of money. Not be back..... good points staff are nice place was clean. Thats it.

The apartments are quite clean and looked after. Although we only had a maid service on one day out of five. Not really a good experiance if you are after all inclusive very little choice of food and spirits. Need to get in the dining room early if you want a sweet, or more than one night they had 'run out'..plus side ....Adel the waiter/bar man.....he can't do enough for you he is extremely good at his job...down side. The receptionist....she needs training in customer care, time keeping and keeping the reception open at the times stated.....

The best thing I can say about the place is the location is great despite the noise due to the proximity to the airport. Not far from the beach or bars & restaurants. I'd have liked to see more variety in the foods available for the all inclusive. It didn't seem like there was much change from lunch and dinner. Rooms we're nice and spacious (I say that as someone who had one to himself) the beds were hard and difficult to sleep on but I'm not sure I'm the kind of person who'll ever have a good night's sleep in any hotel bed (anyone who wants to get me a room in an expensive hotel to test that theory is welcome to lol) the room didn't have a bath, and the hot water ran out pretty quickly, so showers were short. The only other all inclusive I've stayed at had drought beer that you could self-serve at, while you could do that with coffee and juice at the Guacimeta, you had to wait for a server to give serve you a beer or soft drink. I'd have really appreciated the ability to just get up and get it myself. Overall not a bad place, I'm happy with the amount I paid for my stay and I wouldn't mind doing it again. If you can find a holiday at this place for a similar price (£300 for 4 night stay and flight) I'd call it a good deal. Just a thing about the island, the flies around there were determined to land on your skin and stay there. Swat them away, and they'll land on a different part of your skin and I cannot count how many times they flew into my ear, which was UNBELIEVABLY ANNOYING so I suggest travellers bring on ear headphones to stop them.
