A rough start turned into a wonderful stay!
Our week at MYND YAIZA began on a sour note due to an encounter with a rude staff member in the dining area. However, the reception team—specifically Diana and Irina—completely turned our holiday around. Their professionalism, kindness, and efficiency were outstanding. Diana went out of her way to address our concerns and ensure our stay was memorable.
The hotel facilities are excellent and well-maintained. We had a great time and would definitely return if we visit Lanzarote again.
Suggestion for management: It would be great to see more vegetarian options on the lunch menu. As vegetarians, we found the selection a bit limited (Seafood is not vegetarian). Expanding this would be a huge plus for guests!
Overall, a holiday well spent. Thank you to the team for the great recovery!

We just got home this morning from an amazing holiday. This was our 4th stay at Mynd yaiza and the 3rd time this year.
We love this hotel mainly for the animation team and were pleasantly surprised to see the girls Sylvia and Imara on the night we arrived. Greeted as always with the warmest welcomes and making our kids feel at home. They made the stay enjoyable and lots of memories were made. They are both so effortlessly good at their jobs and could be an example to other staff members in how to provide good service.
As lovely as the hotel is I feel a kids menu would be really beneficial at the restaurant as we would eat at the hotel a lot more if this was the case, I found the adult portions would of been wasteful on children. Breakfast is very good and one of the reasons we love this hotel.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and the cleaning/maintenance staff are all very friendly.
Pools and pool area are very clean and tidy. The heated pool was amazing for the kids in winter and we really loved the activities and Imara & Slyvia made sure we got the magic carpet as this is the kids favourite.
We look forward to returning next year.

We had a fantastic time at our stay here.
The location is great and the credit system is a winner. Animation staff made the stay so much better and comfortable, especially Sylvia, imara , adrea. They are all fantastic and a great addition to this hotel! . Always smiling and always making others laugh.
The only downfall would be no children's menu or much entertainment for children maybe this is only in winter months. However despite this Sylvia has been very attentive towards our son especially remember his favourite songs and Brining the energy. The cleaning staff are also very friendly and helpful!! I would definitely recommend this hotel and definitely return but only if the animation staff are still the same . Thanks for a great stay everyone.

What a great hotel! Loved the separate area for those who want peace by the pool rather than kids running about.
The credit system worked well for the half-board option. The food in the buffet was excellent, and I do like trying different foods when on holiday. I kept on going back for more of the fish and meat starters.
The breakfast was fine - if you want an authentic full english every day, then you would be disappointed. But there are restaurants on the nearby seafront that will cater for those needs. I was happy with the cold meats, pate, fruit, and the hot food that was on offer for breakfast. We didn't go to Lamesa as the evening buffet was so good.
The hotel is also well suited in Playa Blanca - a short walk to the beach, and then along the prom to various restaurants and eateries.
The staff were helpful and welcoming - one of those hotels where client satisfaction is key.
Acid test: would I recommend the hotel, and would I go back? The answer to both is a definite YES.

We had a good stay at MYND Yaiza overall and would return. We had half board which was really flexible, you get breakfast plus a daily credit that’s enough to cover dinner for each person, or you can use it on drinks and snacks instead, which worked really well for us as we ate out one night. We felt it was excellent value.
We were placed on the family side rather than the relax side despite not travelling with children. The soundproofing wasn’t the best and we were next to a baby, which was a little disruptive at times, though not enough to bother asking to move. It may have been due to the connecting door between rooms (locked, but likely designed for large groups). We also would’ve preferred a bit more privacy in the bathroom area, as the doors are only frosted glass and didn’t fully seal.
The location is great, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the main seafront. It was clean and staff were always friendly. Meals were good too and we appreciated that it wasn’t overly British-oriented, with plenty of traditional options that changed each night alongside a few safer choices.
Can’t comment on the pools or spa as we’re more beach-goers, but overall a solid stay and worth considering!
