Lopesan Villa del Conde is a beautiful property with a great atmosphere, but the service inconsistency—particularly regarding dining—was disappointing for a resort of this caliber.
As a celiac traveler, I found the dietary accommodations frustratingly difficult. The food labels lacked clear allergen information. Neither were the staff able to help me. During dinner on January 22nd, there was a stressful incident where staff claimed I hadn't ordered a gluten-free meal, even though I could clearly see my order and room number on their list right in front of them. Some of the service staff here definitely are unfriendly, unhelpful & borderline rude. It felt far from the smooth, hospitable experience you expect here.
On a positive note, the staff at the swimming pools were very knowledgeable, and the breakfast team did a great job.
While the resort itself is lovely, I’d recommend skipping the dinner upsell. The restaurants nearby offer much better food quality and hospitality. It was a good stay overall, but the service gaps left me feeling let down.

What a fantastic place, on arrival you are met are people to take your bags to your room. At reception they are very friendly and helpful and are great with kids. They offer you a drink on arrival.
The room is fantastic very spacious.
The food is great with fantastic staff at hand to make sure you enjoy.
The entertainment is great with shows at night and the children mini club is run by a really fantastic lady our 9 year old raves about her.
You are only 10 mins from shopping centre area.
Will definitely be coming back

The location of the resort is very good, and the room size was comfortable and well laid out. The swimming pool area is also a positive aspect and visually pleasant.
Unfortunately, several elements significantly impacted the overall experience. The SPA area appeared poorly maintained. The weather during our stay was cold, and the cabanas—while visually attractive from the outside—had multiple issues: broken components, rusted window frames, poor sealing, and cold air passing through. Under these conditions, massages should not be recommended, as comfort cannot be guaranteed.
Additionally, many of the stone seats around the hotel are broken or damaged, which gives an overall impression of lack of maintenance.
The reception staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. We reported multiple times that the mobile app required to order water or request services was not functioning. Despite this, we were repeatedly told to use the app, even though it clearly did not work. When we directly asked for water, no alternative solution was offered.
Overall, while the location, room size, and pool are strong points, the lack of maintenance, service responsiveness, and customer care need significant improvement to meet the expectations of a resort at this level. To expensive for the service they arr offer

Dear Team,
Thank you for your detailed and courteous response. I appreciate the time taken to acknowledge the feedback and to explain the internal actions planned to address the points raised.
However, I would like to clarify that the inconvenience experienced was not limited to the SPA area alone. The issues related to general maintenance, comfort, service responsiveness, and the lack of effective alternatives when the mobile application was not functioning collectively impacted the overall stay.
In my experience with other luxury hotels and resorts in the same category, situations of this nature are typically addressed not only with an apology, but also with an appropriate form of recognition or partial refund that reflects the gap between the expected and delivered service level. This is an important aspect of customer care and accountability, particularly when services included in the stay cannot be fully or properly enjoyed.
Such recognition is not about compensation alone, but about demonstrating alignment with luxury hospitality standards and a genuine commitment to meeting guest quality expectations.
I sincerely hope the feedback shared will lead to tangible improvements, as the resort has strong potential due to its location and facilities. With consistent maintenance execution and a more flexible, customer-oriented service approach, the experience could better reflect the standards associated with a resort of this level.
Thank you again for the response and for considering this feedback.
Kind regards,
Francesco Savelli

This hotel is like a olimpic sportsman that allways finishes at 4th place. Every time you hope it will deliver if fails you at some minor yet significant detail that ruins the expirience. To start with good stuff the food was great. Best thing about this hotel is food. Worst thing is service outside of the restaurants. The cooks and restaurant staff is also ok. Lack of attention to details like:
1. The gym is mold infested and smelly, it is health hazard not be be expected in a 2 star hotel. One day the floor was litteraly wet and the aircon is never on. I tryed to call guest service and thay promissed to send someone to operate the AC panel in some locked room but after 30 mins no one arrived.
2. Gate to the beach was dirty for 5 days until I leaft the hotel (maybe it still is). I reported it twice to the hotel stuff, once by the pool and once another day to some lady in red looking like a manager. Nothing was done. I cant write what it was dirty with because google wont publish the opinion.
3. No room service. There is an app... but the delivery time for bottles of water to my room was next day at 8 pm. The reception staff said " it is what it is use the app" what can they do. And I could come and pick some water from the front desk even pay for it but no....pro tip. Uber eats is there even late at night.
Basically the hotel architecture, location and food is good. Staff training(appart from restaurants) is poor. Overal 4 stars not 5 and just a few details and I would be ready to come back.

What a great resort for holidays!
The vila was so spacious and clean. The pools and gardens are set amoung an idylic landscape and one feels so relaxed in the atmosphere created by the arquitects. All staff are very friendly and not intrusive. Good entertainment in the evenings.
The location of the resort is perfect, by the sea and with the promenade leading to the restaurants, shops and the dunas.
Least but not the last, breakfast and buffet dinner are of high quality and variety. It is a feast for all your senses.
We highly recommend the hotel.
