Just returned from an 11 night stay at the H10 Tindaya.
We were greeted by a lovely young lady called Alamdra who spoke perfect English, offered us a drink and explained everything to us.
Hotel was spotlessly clean, our room was attended to perfectly.
Food was a bit hit and miss, good variety pasta pizza, fish, meat, veg ,fruit etc. Quality of beef was a disappointment very tough. However service was impeccable, we had a great waiter called Abdel, who was very happy and attentive.
Very different experience in Route 66,women,was rude and we felt like an inconvenience, when we asked for a menu in English. Lad could hardly speak English and said he didn't know what a Aperol spritz was.Other tables walked out. Food was lovely, chefs great. We were asked to fill out a survey on Route 66 next day,but didn't get any feedback.
Show bar staff were great, especially a guy called Mohammed ,he was very happy and helpful.
Shows were a bit repetitive ( acrobats ).
Loads of sunbeds by pool . Steps to beach rather steep. Lots of nudists lol.
Overall very pleasant stay,we would reccomend.

My wife and I spent 11 nights at the H10 Tindaya and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. It’s a lovely place with a lot to offer – comfortable rooms, good food, and a beautiful beach – though there are a few areas that could use some improvement.
Cleanliness:
Our room was spotless – cleaned daily, fresh, and well maintained. We have absolutely no complaints in that regard. However, cleanliness in the main restaurant could be better. During peak hours, there didn’t seem to be enough staff to keep up with cleaning tables, and sometimes we had to wait for a free, clean spot. Simply wiping tables with the same cloth wasn’t enough. Better organization and more attention to detail would definitely improve the dining experience.
Food:
The food in the main restaurant was excellent – tasty, varied, and plentiful. There was always something delicious to choose from. Unfortunately, the Route 66 restaurant was disappointing. The menu was very average, and the food quality did not match the standards of the main restaurant. The staff seemed untrained – a waitress spilled my water while serving and didn’t even apologize or offer to replace it. The place lacked atmosphere (no music, no vibe), and overall the service was subpar compared to the rest of the hotel.
Beach:
The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, clean, and the water crystal clear. However, it becomes significantly smaller during high tide, which can be inconvenient if you expect plenty of space to relax. Also, it’s worth noting that there were naturists on the beach (mostly older guests), which might come as a surprise to some visitors.
Room:
Our room exceeded expectations – spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. We were really happy with it. The only downside was the location: it was right above the restaurant, so we could hear the noise of tables and cutlery being moved from around 6:00 a.m. until late evening. A simple solution would be to train the restaurant staff to minimize noise before 7:00 a.m. and after 10:00 p.m., which would make a big difference for guests staying in this area.
Service – special thanks to Abdel:
We’d like to give special recognition to our waiter, Abdel. His service was outstanding – professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Thanks to him, every meal was a pleasure.
Summary:
H10 Tindaya is a very good hotel with a lot to offer – great food, a beautiful beach, spacious rooms, and mostly professional staff. Still, there’s room for improvement in restaurant cleanliness and noise management near the dining area.
We also had the impression that Polish guests, especially those traveling with Itaka, tend to be assigned rooms in less favorable locations. It would be great if the hotel could pay more attention to fair room distribution among guests from different travel agencies.
Despite these minor issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return in the future.

In response to your replies – I would like to emphasize that we visited the reception more than once and the staff were informed about everything, so you did not offer anything, no solutions were provided.
I was extremely disappointed and shocked by the conditions at this hotel, and I cannot recommend it.
Cockroaches – They were everywhere: the courtyard was full of them, and there were cockroaches in the room every single day. This is absolutely unacceptable and unhygienic. If the hotel responds to this review with only an apology, it will clearly show their poor attitude toward guests.
Noise – Every evening from around 9:30 PM there was loud music and shouting through microphones. It was impossible to rest or have any peace.
No basic amenities – There was no iron available, neither in the room not at reception. This is difficult to understand in modern times, and especially disappointing for a hotel that presents itself as four-star.
Wi-Fi is only available at the reception; it does not work in the rooms.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. I would strongly advise others not to stay here, and I will make sure to share this feedback widely.

We stayed at H10 Tindaya for a week’s holiday. Like Joe Haynes has already said in his review, we had a good time overall, but there are too many issues here for a supposed 4-star hotel.
First, I want to point out that customers leaving reviews are not lying or making things up. Reading the hotel’s replies to reviews on here, it feels like any genuine constructive criticism is dismissed, which is unfair on paying guests who are simply giving honest feedback.
I second everything Joe has said. In addition, we reported the strong drain smell in our bathroom three times to reception. Nothing was fixed, and in the end we had to put a wet towel over the shower drain just to stop the smell coming back.
The food in the main restaurant is put out between 5-6am and then left uncovered until breakfast finishes at 10:30. Hygiene standards were very poor. We also reported a serious hygiene issue with a member of staff cooking/serving food directly to management. The following day the same staff member repeated the exact same behaviour, and again it was reported. Only then was the member of staff removed from the cooking station, with the hotel apologising. This shows that these issues were raised during our stay, not after.
The location is great and the beach access is a plus, but the hotel feels tired, service is inconsistent, and standards need to improve. Until then, I wouldn’t return or recommend it as a true 4-star experience.

Just come back from what can only be described as the most amazing weeks holiday I have had in years. We stayed as privilege guests so all the benefits of that were amazing, breakfast and dinner in the dedicated restaurant with the best hotel food I have ever had. Maria J who looked after us in the restaurant was also amazing and friendly. We had a terrace suite which was incredible with everything you needed. The pool had plenty of space for sunbeds and was great to sit around, there was plenty of shaded areas as well.
The hotel is very well looked after and was clean everywhere, and the staff were always out looking after the grounds as well.
We would not hesitate in going back, and are planning to book again for next year as it was completely faultless, the whole week was incredible.
