Pretty average hotel, location is bad top of a not terrible hill. Food same each day but gets the job done, taxi to town is 7€ then to next town is 30€ each way. Good beach 30 min walk away, decent restaurants in town. Service good enough, not allowed to make noise past 11:30 tho lol. Overall would say not 4 star solid 3 but gets the job done.

Solo Traveller Great place if you are just looking to chill out and relax. I knew where I was coming, so fine by me. A long walk to the quieter part of the beach and personally I didn't feel safe walking back previously. But stayed here as I said before, just a different hotel. The difference here is that therefore seem to be more than the average solo travellers, we tended to gravitate together and had some great times . Like others I do tend not to go back to the same place/hotel but I feel really comfortable here .

A very nice very clean hotel. Staff were always happy and friendly. Could not fault room, spacious , clean and comfortable. We had a nice room with pool view. All inclusive was good, as usual with ai, drinks being local, but hand poured measures made up the difference 😀. Food was plentiful, and varied, but frequently wasn't hot. Microwave available....Breakfast was the best meal of the day. The hotel is located on the edge of Costa Calma, a decent 20-30 minute walk to the hub of town and beach. The beach is long and clean. Costa Calma appears to be still being built, and or run down. Various places have been abandoned and just left to decay. The other point of note, occasionally there was a drain smell, this turns out to be the sewage works which is a few hundred yards behind the hotel....don't be put off, it's only occasional😷. I think the 4* rating is a stretch, having stayed 4* elsewhere. But considering all, value for money no real quibbles and great for winter sun 🌞 without kids. Be aware though that the hotel classes an adult as 16y, so a lot of young people using the all inclusive to excess, and the subsequent aftermath. Enjoy your holiday.

Please see my pros and cons below regarding our weeks all inclusive stay here. Hygiene - Flies on food - Stale food - Picked up dirty plate with sauce on , from the clean plate section - Food not stored correctly (temperature) - Bar man stroking a cat then serving people - Housekeeping was efficient and good service Food - Not fresh, often the same items could be out for several days, particularly desserts. - Had food poisoning for 2 days - Flies on food, mainly bread and fruits - Same items/repetitive - No labels on some of the dishes - A lot of meat (pork,beef) and seafood - Found meat in vegetable paella - Food is often cold/gone hard throughout the day being left out - Lack of snacks , causing frequent trips to vending machine - Snack bar was dried out burger, bacon or sausage sandwich, chips and bread. Wasn’t refreshed throughout the day. - This was the same snacks everyday for 7 nights, no variation - Welcome dinner was apple banana, sweaty meats and stale bread in room Drinks - Only drinks in the day available are fizzy, water, alcohol - Decent selection, however no soft drinks - 1 euro per cup to drink by the pool other wise have to drink in snack bar - No water machines in hotel to have a drink in the night Location - Nice beaches - Located on a steep hill - Long walk to beach (20 mins ish) - Lack of shops/entertainment/bars - Few abandoned buildings in area Room/Hotel - Pleasant, nice size, could see the sea from balcony - Two single beds together (uncomfortable) - Shower pipe was unattached and hit me during use - Toilet seat chipped - Hair dryer old and barely working - No kettle - Paid 2 euro a night for safe - Pools and spa facilities were the best thing - Hotel aesthetically pleasing inside and outside - Restaurant needs TLC but still acceptable Safety - Life guard sits in a cupboard and doesn’t properly monitor the pool - Shower pipe hitting me - On a windy day a man by the pool was lying on a sun bed, whilst another sunbed blew at him and he was injured. Life guard not present, guests attended him first Customer Service/ Staff - Cleaners friendly/helpful - Bar staff made us feel like an inconvenience and an effort to serve us - 2 receptionist were friendly whilst an older lady with glasses was unwelcoming and patronising. She spoke within her own language to another member of staff whilst making faces at us, causing us to feel uncomfortable. - Restaurant servers seemed efficient

1, The reception was professional ,quick and friendly . We arrived late ,.... a special snack was put aside for the three of us....me ,my wife and five year old son . 2. The room was good ( a little dated ) but clean. The opposite hotel has a noisy generator that kept us awake.....The next day the hotel moved us to an " up graded sea view room " Much appreciated . 3. Food. Cannot fault it at all . Lots of choice VERY TASTY . Shame some guests did not respect the dress code . 4. Nice pool area and ten minute walk to a long sandy beach . 5 . The entertainment at night was good .The Animation team were there if you wanted them but did not bother you if you wanted a quiet restful stay. This hotel is a good four star hotel and would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay here .

Relaxing. Professional staff. Awesome entertainment team(Teddy is a top bloke). Good selection of food. Clean rooms. Nice pool. On the beach in seconds. 5min cab ride to the lagoons. Lost a star for an ant attack on my balcony. Staff got rid of them for us as soon as I reported to the reception but it was an army of them. Don't leave food or drink on the balcony!

This is my second time visiting this hotel, and I have to say, I will be back again. The hotel is all you need for a relaxing break in the sun - relaxing atmosphere, with the option of group activities (yoga, aqua aerobics, beach volleyball and more). The beach is right at the end of the hotel, although it is air bit stony. If you walk maybe 5 mins more, you will find a perfectly sandy beach to enjoy. The sea salt pool is a great alternative, but is quite chilly, although very refreshing in the heat of the sun. Being my second time here, they generously left a bottle of sparkling wine in my room, which was kept clean, was comfortable and air conditioned. The only thing I missed was a socket by the bed to charge my phone. The staff are attentive, welcoming, professional and enthusiastic. The food is plentiful with enough variety to suit most needs. The bar is continuously available and serve generous pours of spirits to keep you in the holiday spirit. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and can assure you that you will not be disappointed. The only thing that let it down for me was some of the guests, who were quite rude - but this is most likely due to cultural differences.

Bright, modern apartments with a view through the palm trees to the sea. Clean and nicely furnished, but lacking air conditioning. Quick check-in and friendly service. The apartment complex is spread over a large area, so we had to cross two roads to reach the central pool area, where we missed some atmosphere and a pool bar. In the apartment, the kitchen/living room and bathroom are not separated by a regular door but by a thin glass door, causing some obvious inconvenience. We were three adults in the apartment, which is certainly not recommended. Our apartment was right next to a center with shops and bars, contributing to some music noise late into the night. This is our fourth stay on Fuerteventura, and we would gladly return to the island, but not to Bahia Calma Beach.

Bahia NO Calma Beach. It is a very mixed review. On the positive side: - Nice well equipped rooms - Nice heated pool - Modern Bathroom - Proximity to the (nice) beach - Proximity to stores - Easy & Free parking However we will NEVER stay here again. We were here for a relaxed holidays and specifically asked prior to check in for a room in a quiet part of the resort as we needed to relax and wanted to use this holiday to recharge batteries. Also we stayed here with a child. We were put in a room next to Rapa Nui Surfbar. Big misstake!! Also just above our room there was a disco.. first night till 02:00 loud music, followed by loud people then around 05:00am garbage trucks & trucks to empty glass containers came.. second night extreme loud music till 04:00am! (Yes it was newyears eve but the sound level was just over the top) After that many loud people next to the appartment on the street partying and screaming till after 05:00am. Complaining did not help! Thinking it was all the cleaners started with the appartment upstairs at 08:00am!! Extremely loud and after asking them to wait till later and they acknowledged still the continued. It was reported to the reception but no feedback rather than "we will let them know". Unfortunately no solution at all from the "passive" reception. Just a pitty.. they cannot / should not rent out these rooms knowing that this isnt suitable for ones that don't come here to party... the complex is nice but if you go there and want to relax avoid any room near the bars/disco. Tip to the management: please think with a solution and listen to customers wishes rather than being passive and "ignore" problems. UPDATE 7 jan: after feedback Bahia: Really appreciate feedback however the room change was offered but it was to a studio and not an appartment. That doesn't work with 3 people. Also I was informed this is probably even a noiser room as it is below a restaurant... thats said: these rooms cannot and should not be rented out to families with kids.... a warning for others will be in place.

The apartment was nicely furnished, clean and the bed really comfortable! The location is perfect, a few steps away from Costa calma Beach! Definitely recommend 😊

Everything was great and exactly as expected. As described before we booked; we knew what we were getting and in a very convenient place within Costa calma so very close to the beach and to local shops and restaurants. The room itself was great, clean and with enough amenities to stay comfortably and even cook a meal. Depending on what room you get you might feel a bit hot but all you need to do is go to the reception and they will give you a fan. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a great stay! Thank you

Nice resort, it's an open resort though. Everyone can walk inside. Swimming pool is really nice. The blond lifeguard is really nice and friendly. The accomodation was good. Needed some repairs as 2 inside doors couldn't lock because of brutal damage by other customers. We had the best view nr 92 The reception were very nice. The German girl, Spanish girl and boy.

Nice apartments, very nice and helpful staff. But the food (breakfast in our case) wasn't good quality, everything tasted kind of cheap. The breakfast eggs, for example, have classification number 3, so it's cage eggs you're getting there! In Belgium it isn't even allowed to sell cage eggs... So, all together, in my opinion, this hotel isn't on the level of a 4.5 rating.

Hotel has infinite parking thanks to the emptiness to the south. Inside it's a little tired but still good. Rooms are more like little houses with a huge terrace, huge backyard and 2 rooms one of which had a new kitchen which we didn't use much. Most everything inside was nice, just interior doors are in poor shape and don't fully close. The cleaning was so so, I don't think they clean the floor unless asked and there's a lot of dust settling from the air. Some rooms have little privacy but ours was perfect since it's on the hill side and away from the walkway. Food was reasonable but every restaurant we visited, no matter how cheap, was better. No water for dinner is evil but I just bring a bottle with me and drink afterwards outside since we were always going somewhere in the evening. Location is amazing if you rent a car - quick drive to many cities in the vicinity each of which is worth a visit. Walking distance to many beaches and kite spots. Windy - unlike e.g. Morro Jable. The staff is nice, thumbs up to the new grill master. The pool is quite good.

Brilliant hotel, rooms were very clean with excellent facilities. Food was excellent with a wide selection of fresh food done daily, staff very friendly. Beach a short walk and very beautiful. What is also nice is you xan use the hotel across the road for drinks and evening entertainment. Will definitely go back.

The hotel had some good and bad aspects to it. The reception staff welcomed us warmly and gave us a nice main entrance holiday feel. We stayed in a junior suite with sea view, which was a good choice for our family as it had plenty of space and comfort. The hotel was not far from the beach, only a five-minute walk. However, the beach itself isn't the best - you'll find a lot of cigarette butts everywhere. The cleaning of our room was also not very thorough. We often found sand on the floor when we came back after cleaning was carried out. It seemed to depend on who did the cleaning - some days it was better than others. The room offers a fridge, microwave, cutlery, etc. This was good for kids and relaxing during crazy heat hours (12-4), as we'd pick some wine or drinks and chill at the hotel. The worst part of our stay was the food. Specifically, the dinner. It did not match our expectations (and experience at other hotels) for the price we paid. The fruit stall had mostly canned fruits, and the desserts were tasteless, e.g., the ice cream was cheap and low quality. Even our kids did not like the sweets at all, which says a lot as normally they'd be all over deserts - one bite and a no thanks from them. To make matters worse, we saw some cockroaches near the bread stall and plates, which made us lose our appetite completely on day 3. One of the male chefs was also very rude to pretty much everyone who asked him to cook eggs in the morning. He did not even make eye contact when people asked him to do something that is part of the service they offered. The other two female chefs (young lady and an older lady) were friendly and professional and made people feel welcome. We felt that the food quality spoiled our holiday mood. Also, at dinner, they remove all water and juice so that you spend money on drinks - ridiculous!!!!!!! For a family of four, expect to pay another 15 Euros on top of what you already paid for the buffet dinner. Everything else was OK. We stayed by the pool a few times, which was alright. The gym has a few weights and 1 machine. They had a spa which we never visited. The pool was clean and good for afternoon chilling.

Quite fine for a 3-stars hotel. The suites are big and have plenty of room, ideal for families. The pool is moderate but nice. I really enjoyed the spa, specially in cloudy days. The restaurant is very good, though not on-par with 4-stars. It's close to the beach but not in front line. All in all, a good experience. I recommend it for short budgets.

Hotel renovated few years ago however u can have feeling they do not care about garden, surroundings. Adult area doesn't exists - swimming pool very small like a bigger bath. Some cats in the garden so do not leave your stuff outside for the night as cats will mark it. Food is OK however short menu and spices to be added by yourself - my advice to owners please to train your chiefs. Anyway the hotel service is great and supportive. Surroundings: hotel is located in upper side of Costa Calma - far away everywhere: to the beach , to restaurants, "city center" advantage: silence. Nearby local small shop but you can buy everything u need - don't suggest of poor entrance. Overall 3+ stars for me.

Hotel Taimar is away from the beach, restaurants and other places an average tourist usually visits. On the other hand it's quiet around the hotel, which was perfect for us. Rental car is a must! Parking is on the streets and is free. Receptionist wasn't so friendly, so at first we didn't feel welcome to this 4* hotel. Kitchen/restaurant staff were very nice and polite. We had a "Junior Suite". Very spacious room, terrace and bathroom. Minifridge with small bottle of still and a bottle sparkling water. Kettle with tea- and coffee set (only decaf coffee!). TV with some apps. Bed was very good and pillows were OK, not perfect. Large cupboard. Airconditioner. Bathroom sink was in the room. Bathroom looked very empty with only a shower and toilet inside. Also terrace looked very empty with only 2 chairs and a table. We had the half-board included. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. Tastes were good, but something was missing... Coffee was terrible! Dinner on the other hand surprised me! Really delicuous options, different theme every evening. Something for everybody. Drinks were reasonably priced. Pool and other activities we didn't use. There is so much to do in Fuerteventura at daytime. Overall experience 4/5. Very pleasant stay, but some improvements are needed. Recommended!

The rooms were very nice and comfortable, not perfectly clean though. The hotel is too far from the beach. But the biggest problem is lack of organisation - one guy is a bartender and kitchen help at the same time, so basically you cannot order any drinks for most of the time; swimming pool is cleaned in the middle of the day; there was some alarm at 6am and guest didn't receive any official information what was the reason; yoga class was canceled and noone was informed; no shadow at the pool... some of the staff seem unhappy and annoyed if you have any requests. However, what's worth noticing, there were two very nice young waiters and amazing yoga practice with Andrea. Also, the food was very tasty and various. There were not many people in the hotel, which gave you privacy. Generally, our vacations were very nice, but there are some things that could be easily improved.

We stayed 8 days in this Hotel we enjoyed the location, the pool or artitecture of hotel and Design the rooms, but some things went unsatisfaction things, like cleaning room each day. For example room Service was not so good because the towel was not changing every day or the bed clothes was not changed each day. Or one of my friends sae a lipsticks mark on the bed clothes at first day!! So far I like this hotel because of the staff they were so fun, polite😊

We had a wonderful one-week stay at the hotel. The complex is beautiful and well maintained. The buffet offers a lot of choice but some dishes are better than others. The staff were also super friendly. Our morning conversations with the wonderful cleaning lady Doris made the stay even better. All in all, we had a relaxing vacation and felt well looked after.

Terrible service at the restaurant. The waiters completely ignore the guests, you have to wait a long time for cutlery or drinks because the staff is not interested in what they should do. Complete lack of organization, dirty tables and a constant feeling that you are unwelcome. Food at the restaurant was not really good also. It was kinda suprising , based on the reviews. The gardeners, technical and cleaning staff are very friendly and nice. The animations in the hotel are very poor. The experience at the reception wasn't the most pleasant either. The location is completely out of the way, there is nothing interesting nearby. 10 min walk to the black beach, about 40 min walk to the beach in Costa Calma with several shops and 2 restaurants. The hotel has a beautiful garden and interesting architecture. Unfortunately, the lagoon has fallen into disrepair, it would definitely be the hotel's best attraction.

Just got back home. Couldn't fault the hotel so don't take any notice of negative comments. Just a little out of the way for my liking. Not much in Calma and a long walk up some steep hills from the hotel. If you just want to go away and chill out in the sun this would be ideal. Hotel was fantastic,staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was fine in fact as far as the hotel goes 5 starts from me. Just location wasn't for me.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very nice holiday. The entrance to the hotel,the lobby and bar are very impressive. Hotel facilities are very good, We had upgraded our room to a suite which had very nice decor and very clean, the swimming pool was very nice. Shame the lagoon isn't open anymore. The restaurant terrace was particularly nice and the entertainment lounge was one of the best I've ever seen and the entertainment was good. Sadly I did experience some bad service from some of the bars staff. Other than that everything else was good. I would definitely return.

A really nice resort hotel located just by the sea with a lovely view over the ocean. Recommend to have at least half board as nothing except from the hotel is available nearby. A couple of km walk south to very nice beaches so pools at the resort is a good idea.

Relaxing, quiet, great for escape and chill out time holiday hotel. Great location, walking distance from the beach. Very friendly staff. Suits are very clean, with the advantage of your own garden/ sun bathing area. Great choice of food for breakfast and excellent service. I was pleased with all the facilities within a suit and within the hotel.

Delightful hotel which is very different from the soulless corporate buildings nearby. Lovely gardens and wonderful self contained rooms. The breakfast choice is absolutely wonderful. We had bed and breakfast so did not eat an evening meal in the hotel. The restaurant that adjoins the hotel (Restaurant Del Gato) is outside the security gate - the food was quite good but the building itself is somewhat lacking in atmosphere - it is a pity they could not bring this restaurant into the grounds so that you could eat outside in the cactus garden rather than a dated marquee. It was also a bit strange for a 4 star hotel that you had to pay for coffee in your room - this would normally be free. The hotel itself would benefit from having a bar in the evening where you could chill with a glass of wine.

The hubs are amazing spacious and well thought out with private court yard easy access to beach however jacuzzi, air con, tiles could be given a little TLC! The main concern is the restaurant breakfast area. I don’t know why hotels employ people who don’t smile, are unapproachable and ask if you can afford the menu before you can even sit down. Took one look at the place and walked out plenty of other better locations for food on the beach. Don’t go half board go Save you euro and go out for food

The architect who designed this complex did a brilliant job. Each villa has plenty of space to relax privately while enjoying the gardens and views. A peaceful location with excellent food to satisfy most tastes.

Although a little dated, the rooms are large with a private courtyard and additional seating just outside of the courtyard. The breakfast buffet was ample and good quality and although the food and service we're good, especially Antonio, it was a very limited menu for vegetarians. It's a short walk to the nearest beach and about 15 minute walk to the towns main beach and 10 minutes to local shops. The hotel is quite and perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The swim up room was fantastic. Whilst it has been renovated the attention to detail isn't quite there and the previous aged decor comes through in places. The welcoming touch of a bottle of wine and a thank you card was nice. The privacy of the swim up room was great but like many resorts the pool was not heated which would have made the experience much better. The food was good, with themed nights but regular dishes available for those picky eaters. Generally speaking it was exactly what you would expect from an all inclusive resort and nothing more. The regenerate restaurant was closed during our stay so we can not comment on this. The entertainer throughout the day was great, fun and energetic but didn't push people like some entertainers would. The evening entertainment was poor unless it was run by the in house entertainer but the live acts were not in line with the general keeping of the hotels expectations. The beech was walkable distance, there was plenty of shops near by within walking distance. Would we stay here again? Yes we would, but another hotel with similar offerings would sway us if the price was cheaper.

Nice place, the hotel is really clean and pretty. I think the food is perfect, varied and tasty! I don't understant comments about monotony, what else do you expect? There is everything you want - local and traditional food, meats, fishes and veggie options. You can go everywhere by foot. Sometimes you can see that it was renovated quickly, but this is a small minus. Very nice service!

The hotel was near to the beach and shops. Free parking directly by the hotel or next to it on the street. The reception staff was helpful and kind. In the restaurant Ibrahim and Mohammad were always smiling and did a great job compared to the others. If you have a room on the higher floors you have a nice view of the ocean. First of all the rooms are poorly renovated. I requested a double bed and got 2 single beds pushed together on wheels, which moved as soon you touched them. But okay. If you buy yourself extra water they won't fill up the water bottles in the room, sometimes you get coffee and sometimes you don't. The bathroom products are really bad and cheap, shower gel and shampoo in one. Luckily I brought both. Opening the balcony door is a real challenge. Maybe the next one to change out. The other parts of the hotel are maybe renovated but the pool areas are definitely not. The hotel front is a big glass wall, would be nice if it would be clean and would be also nice to go in on the front door, if it would work. The elevator is old and dirty, don't use it if you can. Breakfast was okay, you have a big enough selection, but could be better. The salad and the vegetables are from the last night and almost gone bad, it takes your appetite away. The snack "bar" on the afternoon is really sad and everyday the same food. It's open until 6.30 pm but you are not welcome after 6 pm. Dinner is just about eatable. If you go to dinner around 7pm it looks okay but if you dare to got after 8pm you will be greatly disappointed. They don't clean or fill up the buffet much. The tables are not set or even clean. The staff doesn't care. There is no cutlery on the buffet and I had to get it myself several times. Be careful about the plates, you will find several dirty ones between the "clean" ones. The hot dishes are presented in some pan with lid, ridiculous. Furthermore I was asked if I wanted to use the safe in room and got a tiny key to turn it on, it didn't work. You also have to pay 20€ deposit for the ironing board and the iron, plus 1€ per day. I didn't get a receipt of my deposit or payment. I can understand somehow the deposit but that I had to pay for it in a 4* hotel and had to wait for it over an 1 hour. Maybe it was a 4* hotel in the 90’s but not anymore. I hope our feedback helps the hotel to improve their service.

Me and my dad came to this hotel at the beginning of January 2024 it was absolutely amazing. It was clean, the staff were so happy and polite and I have to say the 2 lads who were the entertainment were fantastic this goes to Raul and David. They were both amazing and very active while we where there I will definitely be coming again next year at the same time.

Amazing hotel with direct access to a beautiful beach. During our stay the weather was really windy but we still enjoyed our holiday. Food is various and the facilities are very clean. For dinner you need to make a reservation via the hotel app to avoid waiting at the entrance. The animation team is friendly but not pushy, and Rebeka gives the most professional fitness classes I have seen, we did stretching and aguagym with her almost everyday. Night entertainment is on the standard you can see in almost all hotels. But the biggest positive point is the staff of the hotel. Friendly, nice and attentive from the reception through the restaurant until the cleaning ladies. We will definitely return.

We had an amazing time at Hotel H10 Tindaya. Breakfast and dinner was various, tasty and nicely presented. The pool area was always clean as the whole building itself. Agota at the reception was very kind and professional, she gave us all the information we needed to make our holiday memorable. She really brightened our stay. We can't wait to spend some more time here.

This hotel is the best one I have ever stayed for a vacation! The food and drinks are very delicious and in high quality, the people who work here are extremely friendly and lovely, and any staff we greet them by saying hola everytime we walk past by, and it was a really nice experience outside in the huge garden that they even have animation and it is so fun! There was also an awesome arcade and a beach just right next to the hotel👍🏻 I feel like I just want to visit here another time, with my family again or my friends. Great hotel for adults and kids. The beach is beautiful. The only thing that could improve is the food. We have had better food at other H10 hotels. But we would return. The drive is long from the airport but worth it for the beach. The animation team is excellent! My kids loved them all. Went during Christmas and was a fun time for the tree lighting for the kids!

Had a week here in October and it was my second time back to H10 Tindaya. Stayed as a privilege guest first vist and normal all inclusive this time. Staff are fantastic and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Food and drink is great. Lots of variety and we enjoyed trying all the different dishes. Room was comfortable and clean. The beach is fantastic and we enjoyed jumping in the ocean every day. Some minor improvements would really make all the difference. The pool areas could do with a lick of paint and being swept or hosed down a couple of times a week. The air conditioning in the room is fine but in the communal areas was really, really bad and it is hard to enjoy dinner and drinks when it was so so hot and uncomfortable. That is really the only fault of an otherwise fantastic hotel. We will have no hesitation in coming back again.

Apartment is musty, smelly and dingy. Bed smells like vomit. If you don't speak German then you will have to translate any signs and information. There is very little assistance provided by staff. Most do not speak English. For half board you have to pay for any drink with your meal(including water). The ground floor apartments have no privacy and you are warned to lock even when in the apartment due to theft. The safe is charged daily if you wish to use. Food is not great glumpy and rice burnt onto trays as if been left in situ for long periods of time. If your looking for a relaxing time, do not book here as you will be left on the edge and the whole experience is uncomfortable and a massive let down.

Hotel is german managed and staffed, all activities in German. Spotted some cockroaches around the walls outdoor. The original (double) room smelt bad because of piping bathroom. Dinner buffet 1st night of poor quality, breakfast + buffet other nights good. Hotel manager offered a better room + wine + fruit basket to compensate. We were also offered a refund of the remaining nights if we preferred to change the hotel. + friendly staff + satisfactory compensation + quality buffet was good (except for night 1) + location right at a nice beach + clean facilities, well maintained - rooms, terrace furniture & pool chairs outdated - hotel area deteriorated/ abandoned - kitchenette includes coffeemachine + cutlery, but coffee filters and detergent must be purchased separately.

No complaints up until the incident at dinner. I tried to make a cup of tea to eat with a desert, when a member of stuff grabbed a cup from my hands and another member shouted that tea is only for breakfast. When asked to speak to manager I was ignored. I then went to reception to ask for the general manager, however I was told they cant contact him/her. In general, everyone at the restaurant was very aggressive in the way they talked and how they tried to enforce the rules like no tea drinking at the dinner, even though tea and hot water was on the display at the buffet , and no signs were there to inform that it is only reserved for breakfast. Similarly often quite aggressive in how they enforce partial closures of the restaurant before the official restaurant closing time when staff decides they want to start cleaning the area early. As a result, last hour of dinner and breakfast, half of the restaurant is closed and is being loudly cleaned which makes you feel as if you are already sitting past the working hours even though that is not remotely the case. This is a shame, given how friendly the reception stuff is most of the time and the location of the hotel is very good.

In general clean but it needs to be refreshed. I found very disappointing that food menus, information and communication in general is adapted to German taste, style and language. Missing the Spanish flair, food, music, language. Nothing against German language but I travel to Spanish territory looking for something Latin. The feeling is like being in Germany but with sun.

I loved this hotel, location, right on the beach and also next to desert, so we didn’t feel enclosed. We went half board very good selection of food and a lovely eating area. Absolutely loved her rooms. I asked for mine to be adjacent to my sons which they did. Nice big terrace overlooking both parties it and sea. Very spacious area around the pools with loads of sun loungers, so never had a problem. Finding one. There was also the option to walk down the stairs onto the private beach free parking is available all over the island and there are parking spaces all along in front of the hotel and also some more rough parking next to it very clean very spacious feel, and it was only for 18s and over.

Overall a good holiday ruined by reception staff who lied to us and treated with arrogance. After moving to our room we noticed that the entrance door was not closing properly and had a gap of over 1 Cm resulting in a strong draft and light coming in. We were promised that the room will be changed next day and when we came to reception the staff said they never promised it and that we need to pay 30 EUR for the swap. The reception manager also didn’t believe us and spoke to us sarcastically and in a disrespectful manner. It didn’t even matter that we had already paid for the more expensive Privilege package. Another issue with the first room was that there were small insects on the coffee maker table which we didn’t have in the second one that we paid to move to. We will definitely never return to this hotel again.

Beach is lovely but a quite a lot of steps to get on. It's not near shops. So if you have difficulties walking not recommended. Love the drinking water machines so you don't have to lug it from the supermarket and its free. Kettle and cups in the room but no tea bags or coffee so make sure you pack some if you want early morning cuppa. Also no shower caps. A very relaxing holiday.😄 Also no children.

Just got back from a very relaxing 7 days stay. Emailed in advance asking for a high up sea view, had a very quick response & our room was spot on what we asked for. All of the staff are extremely pleasant, welcoming & friendly. The hotel had several nationalities but around 80% were German, which doesn't bother us, as they tend to be better behaved than a hotel full of Brits on p.... The food was lovely with plenty of choice with an obvious Germanic slant as you would expect but there was always plenty to try. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. Beach is a short walk(not private, remember to take your key card to get back in the Hotel)where it seems clothing is optional. The beach is nice, the water is warm, loungers are plentiful but you have to pay. There is a nice little crazy/mini golf course, free on all inclusive. It's a quiet, peaceful hotel with an older clientele which suited us. For a very relaxing break it's ideal. Already talking about going back again.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful hotel. We were fortunate to be given an upgrade room which was massive. With a beautifully large garden patio with a sea view. The room was spotless. The staff very friendly and helpful. Especially our pink hair dancing queen in the main lounge and reception bar. She was full of life as she danced around serving drinks. The food was good. We are vegetarian however we could see there was a good choice for everyone. I would definitely recommend the hotel For a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

This was a last minute holiday. Flew from Cork about 3 hours. Hotel situated in the South of the island. Hotel was large and roomy. Reception staff were very efficient and spoke a number of languages. We had the All Inclusive package and the food was absolutely delicious. Plenty of choice for a tastes. The outdoor pools of which there are three were spotless and a small children's pool also. Pool bar served light lunches and afternoon tea. Hotel situated on the beach where loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge. The adjoining beach approx 1 mile long makes for an excellent daily walk with beach bars along the way. Room with balcony was cleaned daily with tv also in room. All in all a well run hotel with evening entertainment. Suitable for all ages.

We had a nice vacation with a view minus. In general the Canary Islands don’t have the same Standards like I know from other countries. The hotel doesn’t offer an own shuttle and hasn’t got the bus plans from the public transportation. The hotel was fully booked and on the last night my bf became sick from the food. We think it was the soup. Another man had the same issue. The food in general was delicious, especially for so many people. The stuff were very nice in the gastro areas. All were hard working people! We never saw one service personal standing around. And it was still not enough :( We wish better working conditions and more service personal for the bars and restaurants at all!

Not 4 star hotel, it is super old in need for renovation. There are many who like the hotel but it is a matter of taste. I think for families this is okay, especially that it is all inclusive. You have to give deposit for beach towels and or an iron... That doesnt sound 4 star to me ;)... The staff are friendly but that is about it.

Only there for one night so potentially an unfair review based on the hotel not being prepared (flight was cancelled so 200 people ended up there), but even so, the rooms were dismal, smelt stale or just a bit "off", the main area looks like a prison set 😂 & the food was average at best. That was my experience based on one night, like I say it may be overly harsh as the hotel may have not had time to prep properly. The staff at reception however were excellent.

Great all inclusive friendly staff and great food and the animation team of fillipo klara and Claire keep both adults and kids well entertained. The only fault I had was as a disabled man that uses a scooter because I have MS I couldn't use 3 of the pools esp the heated one and the sauna n quazzui because of the steps so that is the only improvement I'd make n if possible keep the entertainment on a bit later till 11pm and get in some local talent but all in all a great hotel right on the beach

First of all, that’s not a 4 star hotel, it’s a good well located 3 star, but nothing more. To make it clear: 4-Star Rating Four-star hotels offer loads of special services and amenities, including concierge services, fine dining, multiple pools, and hot tubs, high-class fitness centers, bellhops, room service, valet parking, day spas, limousine services, and an array of special suites. This hotel, don’t have a room service, everything you have to pay over: You want a towels - pay You want water in the room - pay You want late check out - one hour cost me 35 euros You want a safe box in the room - pay There is no shampoo no any creams, you will get only peace of soaps if you want more , first they don’t have second for what they have you have to pay. No restaurants, no food, not well working system, because hotel is very old and not been renovated for decades. Bad internet. Very poor breakfast, with sardines from canne. I was very upset of this visiting… and it’s not cheap hotel. If you count all the “over cost” I should take a good 5 stars for the same price and be happy with results. Here I never will be back - that’s for sure… And the cherry on the cake - the last day before you leave, your keys stop to working, so if you want to go to swim in the ocean, you have to go back true reception which is far away from everything and wait for the opening the door. Super uncomfortable Incredible bad !

I highly recommend this hotel. The Rooms are clean and spacious, the food is delicious and staff is helpful. The lobby is truly Amazing and the view from elevator is something I can't get bored of. The hotel has 2 very big swimming pools and is almost at the beach so it is very easy to rest and chill. City of Costa Calma is rather cute, small and, somehow not surprisingly, calm. You won't find there crazy clubs but the hotel is close to some nice bars, shops and restaurants where you can find whatever you may need. Overall, amazing stay.

We spent a great week here. Everything clicked. The selection of the buffet is fabulously rich, we loved the breakfast juices. The water in the heated pool is pleasantly warm, the building and the rooms are clean, and the mattresses are very comfortable. The staff is also kind, I would highlight the work of Marco at the reception, who provides correct and good information. We'll be back!

Very nice hotel. We were there in March 2024, there are several beaches about 5 minutes by foot, or you can choose between different pools. The Buffet food was on average good (not every dish was to my liking, but others were perfect). The all-inclusive cocktails definitively contained alcohol, but I didn't like the taste, so I bought some which were not included in the "all inklusive", and they were much better. For WLAN in the room we had to pay 15€ for 2 persons for a week, and to use the safe in the room 4 €/day.

Horribly rude and disrespectful service at the spa by Maria. If this is her real name, she doesn't wear a badge. She shouts, interrupts, argues, mocks, slanders and made a child cry! Apart from the appalling service at the spa reception, the spa itself is really unwelcoming as they are saving energy in a big way at the expense of the guests. We couldn't stay there and had to run after 15 minutes. And for 15 euros entrance fee they don't even give you towels to sit on. No wonder there were only a handful of people inside on a cloudy, windy afternoon. The spa is a terrible disappointment and even though the hotel insists that it's private, it's still on their territory. They should make sure that the service provided there is acceptable. People like Maria do not give a damn about the guests and destroy the hotel's reputation. We'll leave later more complete and detailed reviews on other sites, we don't want to waste any more of our time away now.

Went all inclusive. Very hard beds Night manager Mario very rude only does paperwork at night and was unable to help with extra bedding. Food at buffet not labeled properly, informed staff I have fish allergies but fish placed next to other food. You have to pay for spa and indoor pool Apart from floor 3, you have to pay for WiFi. Booked early hot breakfast on last day but only given cold. Other staff were great and helpful apart from Mario who was rude, and unable to do anything even tho he’s the night manager, just wants to do paperwork.

We came back from 8 nights holiday about 2 weeks ago and have to say it was a beautiful stay.We had a beautiful room with ocean view (had wedding anniversary).The view with the sunrise from our balcony was just to die for. Service is 5 star and some other hotels should actually learn from those people. I need to say that restaurant staff is working really hard (hope they get paid well)and make you feel like you’re not in all inclusive hotel but in some good name restaurant.Everyone is working hard,people who clean the rooms,the reception staff,the entertainment team. Hotel itself has a beautifull garden and it’s well maintained.Amazing views ❤️we had such a lovely time,would come back even tomorrow.Thank you R2 Pajara Beach.

We are just coming to the end of our holiday. The weather has been perfect for a winter get away. 26 degrees. The rooms are very big, comfortable and cleaned every day. The location is remote so very relaxing. The food was excellent and lots of choice. Not many other Brits and wifi isn't great but overall a great holiday

We stayed in a standard room. It was large, clean and very comfortable. All the staff are amazing. I would love to go back. If you need a kettle for your room, ask the front desk. We had two electric sockets in our room, if you need more you will need an extension cable. Taro Beach have the most friendly feral cat colony. They also have the best view at the hotel. I truly hope your experience will be as good as ours was.

Location is perfect. Amazing beach, in the middle of Costa calma. Close to the shops. Rooms are ok, they have been cleaned every day. We had family room with see view. Our bedroom was a bit too small but we had big living room with balcony and amazing views. Minus was a pool . There is 2 pools. 1 for babies 40cm deep another for adults , there was no pool for kids age 7-13. First was too small another to deep for that age. Mostly we spent time on the beach of the ocean. Food was ok. Very poor lunch offer. In general 3.5 stars

Just come back from this location and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is nice and accommodating. There were about 300 plus rooms in the height of the season that's a lot of people to squeeze around the pool and cater for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So I can imagine there being a bit of a rush for food. I went in June and wasn't that busy. I can imagine. The staff were really friendly. The hotel itself is located at an incline of a hill. There really isn't much to do in the local area, such as bars or other restaurants. No doubt why its all inclusive hotel. If you're looking to explore the island, then I would suggest getting a car ( one of my regrets) If you're satisfied with sitting by the pool or going to the beach, then this is ideal. ( but I'd imagine once the hotel is fully booked spaces round the pool will be quite hard to get) The sun lungers are plastic and require the cushion, I don't think there's enough cushions for each sun lounger, so you may have to lay on the hard plastic. The food the hotel provided was nice, plenty to choose from. The drinks, I'm certain, were over carbonated, but that's just a theory.

Two stars at best, it’s only saving grace is due to the beach location and very friendly staff. Unfortunately there was ants in bed and cockroaches in the bath. The evening meal was pleasant but the breakfast seemed as though left overs were served. Thankfully we where only there one night.

Have just returned from a week all inclusive at this hotel. Firstly and most annoyingly, there is no kettle in the rooms, and there are no hot beverages available until the restaurant opens at 0800. Not great if your awake at 6ish .....usually. The room was OK and clean but I did have a cockroach in the room one night. The hotel is very tired. It has been recently decorated, but shows signs of age everywhere. Loads of cracked floor tiles around the place ,especially the pool. Render falling off the walls everywhere. The pool itself was lovely. The sun loungers were all very stained and dirty. The food, in way of choice wasnt great, compared to previous experiences at other hotels. I'm not overly fussy, so always found something to eat. Breakfast and lunch were best. The drinks. Only local spirits are available all inclusive. Any brand names are chargeable, which surprised me, again to previous hotels. Other guests complained vodka was watered down, the local whisky did its job every night👍 The staff were all great, but better if you make the effort to speak Spanish to them. Please and thank you are not difficult to learn. The location was not nice. All abandoned buildings are covered in graffiti, even palm trees!! There are a couple of nice looking hotels along the beach, where you don't have to see these derelict buildings ,but in my opinion, there are nicer areas on the island. The local beach was OK. There is a disguised water outlet under the sand there though. I don't know what water this was but it hadn't rained!!!! We took a cab ride to Playa de Jardina for the day. The beach there was amazing and went on for miles. There are loads more shops ,restaurants and bars there also. There is an amazing variety of guest nationality there. I made great friends with people from Gillingham, Norway, Holland and Poland. There is a high concentration of German guests on the entire island , I believe. Lots at the hotel. Some are polite and understand how to laugh, I heard anyway. Better places on the island other than Costa Calma.

Amazing entrance hall, very well decorated for Christmas. Lovely place with a stunning pool. A bit far from the beach and shuttle is not that frequent. Variety of food across the day. Good value for a 4 star. Really enjoyed my time there.

Spent a week at Drago Park, all inclusive. Cannot fault it, everything was sound, room comfortable, a little aged but nothing wrong with it, cleaned daily. Staff were all friendly and attentive when I asked ant questions. Food was sound, I dont eat meat (I eat fish) I prefer a plant based diet and there was plenty of choice (if your a meat eater, then choice a plenty), the food was good. The pool area is good too, plenty of sun loungers and pool side snacks and drinks, activities too daily. A slight down is location, but I love walking so it wasn't a down side for me, the hotel is about a 15 minute walk to beach and Costa Calma. The beach at Costa Calma is great too with plenty of resturants and bars, it's a quietish resort but I am happy with that. I did some decent walking around the local trails and enjoyed it, if you get up the big hills close to the resort, the views are spectacular. Overall I would revisit this hotel and recommend no worries.

Absolutely, without a doubt the worst food ever. Both me and my son heaved at the very thought of going to the restaurant/snack bar. We ended up eating out for half the trip, alternatively brought some bread and cheese from the local shop. Weird combinations of food, poor to no labeling (chef probably could not make up a name for some of the slop). Over boiled pasta with watery bolognese, and green watery something!?! Just to name a few examples. I spoke with a couple of other guests from UK and Sweden and they were also disgusted. My advice: do NOT stay at this hotel. If you decide to anyway; try getting reimbursed for eating out. Because you will! Also, NO fridge in the room. And this is the first place I have ever been to that does not have ketchup! Used tobasco to either give the food taste or to disguise the flavour. My son took some chicken drum sticks one day, tasted it, and then sat there wondering what he was eating (it looked like a drum stick anyway). Dont waste your money, you will be severly dissapointed. Wifi is a shambles also, you have to log in constantly.
