Very good hotel in Fuerteventura, ideal for a relaxing holiday. Great location with direct beach access, very comfortable rooms and excellent cleanliness throughout the stay. The pools and outdoor areas are a real highlight and very well maintained.
The service was good overall, especially at reception. We would like to give a special mention to Alondra, who was extremely helpful and supportive with some personal requests, going clearly beyond what would normally be expected — this truly made a difference to our experience. In general, all staff were polite, attentive and professional. At times, however, it felt that the hotel was operating with too few staff for the workload, particularly in bars and restaurants. This appears to be more a management and staffing issue rather than a reflection of the employees’ effort.
The animation team also deserves praise for their friendly attitude and the good job they do with daytime activities and evening entertainment.
The food was good and reasonably varied for an all-inclusive resort, sometimes a bit cold near to the end of the time for the lunch, but unfortunately the drinks and cocktails were a major disappointment. Most cocktails are machine-made, which results in an artificial taste and low quality, well below what we would expect from a 4-star hotel. We really missed having cocktails prepared fresh.

Highly recommend this hotel.
One point to improve for me would be to fast track check-in a little. I know this is probably difficult with a lot of information to pass on. Perhaps more staff on the desk would help?
Apart from that, Excellent staff, superb food with plenty of selection. Fish, salads and fruits were my favorite.
Lovely facilities and rooms were fine. We spent all the time on the beach or by the pool so as long as the beds were comfy and you could have a decent shower afterwards, the rooms are not our highest priority. It is worth mentioning they are well sound insulated as couldn't hear others moving around too much.
Thanks very much for everything.

This is our second time here, absolutely love the hotel, staff and location.
The hotel is clean, well maintained and a true home from home
Upon arrival the reception staff are excellent and this just continues as you meet the other staff members be it cleaners, maintenence, bar staff ect. All helpfull and polite.
The selection of food is vast, local dishes and internatoinal, if you can't find anything you like i would say it is down to you, take small portions and try new things, no one will complain if you leave something you don't like.
The facilities on site are excellent and the town has some good shops and bars, not many but enough. Morro Jable is a short busride away for the bigger shops and a great day out.
The beach in front of the hotel is easily accesable by steps dirrect from the hotel, most days you reall do get to see why they call it Costa Calme, the calm coast. Lovely clear waters with hardly any waves. I would suggest getting a snorkel and swim around the lava rocks, so many beautiful fish , i even saw a tuna in 1.5 meters of water.
Other beaches nearby include sotavento beach and lagoon, this is a must visit, you can get there along the beach and rocks at low tide but we prefere taking the gravel road which you find at the end of the road next to H10 playa esmaralda, 20 minute walk and firm under foot.
4 nights before our holiday was due to finish we came back to our room and water was running through the ceiling, it turned out to be a burst hotwater pipe, the staff were quickly on it and we were upgraded to a junior suite at 11.45 pm.
The room as you would expect is so much nicer and i would say worth the extra money. I know next time we will book a better room. We will be back in 2026 for another 2 weeks of paradise.

I stayed at H10 Tindaya twice within 10 days, and unfortunately the experiences felt like two completely different hotels. Because of this inconsistency, 3 stars overall feels fair.
First stay – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My first stay was genuinely excellent. I had a spacious, bright sea-view room on the 5th floor, which was spotless and very comfortable.
There was a coffee machine, complimentary water and chocolates, and housekeeping was excellent.
The food was very good, and the restaurant staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming.
I left thinking this was a great hotel — good enough that I decided to come back and even convinced my partner to join me.
⸻
Second stay – ⭐
The second stay was a shock.
I was given a much smaller, dark room in a poor location, with a partially blocked view and ants clearly visible in the bathroom and room.
There were no complimentary amenities at all, unlike the first stay.
Getting to the room was unnecessarily stressful. The hotel layout is confusing, and the directions from reception were unclear, which led to a lot of walking around the hotel with luggage and sports equipment. On top of that, corridors were often blocked by cleaners and maintenance staff, with 10+ trolleys left in hallways, making access even more difficult.
Service also felt very different the second time. The front desk attitude was unwelcoming, and despite being all-inclusive, I was charged extra for lunch on departure day. Even after paying, my wristband was deactivated early, leaving me unable to re-enter the hotel properly.
The upper pool area during the second stay was not properly cleaned, there were no hotel-provided sunbeds or umbrellas on the beach, and no organised sports or entertainment on several days.
⸻
What stayed good
To be fair:
• Food quality remained consistently good
• Restaurant staff were always pleasant and professional
• Pool bar staff (especially Ivan) were excellent
• The location is great for Calma Beach access
⸻
Final thoughts
This hotel clearly can be excellent, as proven by my first stay. However, the huge inconsistency in room quality, service, and organisation makes the experience unreliable.
5⭐ for the first stay, 1⭐ for the second — so 3⭐ overall.
Because of this inconsistency, I would not choose to stay here again, even though the hotel has real potential if better managed.

We really enjoyed our stay here at the H10 Tindaya Hotel in Costa Calma, Fuerteventura. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and have a nice view. The complete hotel area is the cleanest I‘ve ever seen and the food is very good. We enjoyed our meals! The animation team is very friendly and motivated the people/ kids having fun! Especially Sara is a very kind and happy human being! At the reception Bruno has been very helpful and kind! He speaks german very well and helps us with every situation. The hotel has a direct connection to the beach and we also went to the Oasis Wildlife Zoo. I can really recommend the zoo! It was one of the most beautiful zoos I’ve ever seen!
