Located just on the edge of the town a 4 minute walk to the shops but plenty of resteraunts and bars along the way.
Right on the sandy beech and a lovely walk to the sea.
Rooms all on the 1st 2nd and 3rd floors served by lifts and stairs are very big and most of them all looked the same as ours with 2 aircon units, a living area with a fold out bed/setee, large TV, table & chairs and a access to the balcony.
Kitchen, with a fridge, microwave, kettle, cups, glasses, cutlery & a hob.
Bathroom with bath/shower, 2 sinks joined together, soap and hand lotion, large mirror, toilet and bidet.
Bedroom was 2 large singlebeds pushed together, very comfy, extra blankets and pillows if needed, a smaller TV, wardrobes and draws, a free safe in the cupboard, and access to the same balcony which has a table and chairs and a dryer for your swimming cossy.
Pool up on the 1st floor large cold water and unheated pool is a suntrap, cold in the winter months but didnt bother sone bathers.
Poolbar opens at 10:30 with self service beer, wine and soda and spirits off the bartender.
Bar snacks served in the afternoon.
Food is served on the ground floor in the buffet resteraunt, some same food was on every night with different mains like steaks, pork chops, full prawns and crabs. For the sweet tooth theres a variety of cakes and pastries.
Breakfast is also served here in the mornings choose from meets, cheese, cereals, full fry up and cooked to order omlettes.
Staff are all lovely, check-in was quick and no local taxes to pay.
Just a warning to some that the hotel is on the flightpath so theres about 20 flights a day at about 750 feet above the pool, which I quite enjoyed (not everybodys taste) and its not that noisy.

The rooms were great, perfect for family holiday and cleaned to a great standard every day.
Food was terrible at every meal and there was no entertainment at all. There is no mini club, there are no kids discos, there's nothing at all for kids.
Would be fine room only, as the rooms really are great, but be prepared to go out and about every day for food and entertainment.

We are currently staying at Eurostars Las Salinas, and unfortunately we are very disappointed with our dining experience
We have a dinner package included and visited the buffet restaurant with our young children. Like many families with toddlers, we understand that mealtimes can sometimes be a little messy. We always try our best to keep the table as tidy as possible, gather food scraps onto plates, and clean up before we leave. We fully respect the staff and the restaurant environment.
However, while our child was still actively eating, the restaurant manager, Luis, came to our table and started wiping the table around our child with a cleaning cloth. Clearing finished plates during a buffet is perfectly understandable, but actively wiping the table while guests are still eating is inappropriate and unhygienic — especially when the same cloth is being used on multiple tables.
It made us feel unwelcome and embarrassed. During the cleaning, he was visibly shaking his head and saying “Mamma mia,” which strongly gave the impression that he was unhappy about the mess caused by children.
When we raised our concern, he explained that he treats all tables the same way and that he must keep the restaurant clean. We absolutely agree that cleanliness is important. However, cleaning a table while guests are still eating is simply not reasonable. Maintaining hygiene should never interfere with a guest’s dining experience.
If you were still eating and someone began wiping your table before you had finished, would that feel appropriate? For someone who states he has over 20 years of experience as a restaurant manager, this makes the situation even more surprising and disappointing. Professional experience should reinforce basic dining etiquette — not undermine it.
For a four-star resort, this level of service is not acceptable. Families with young children should not feel judged, rushed, or uncomfortable during dinner. If children are not truly welcome, that should be made clear — but this is promoted as a family-friendly resort.
We hope management will take this feedback seriously and reconsider how families are treated in the restaurant.
Very disappointed.

We stayed for 11 nights on half board.
Service was excellent, rooms were nice (junior suite with side sea view) although a little tired, as was a lot of the hotel.
Good access to pool with plenty of sunbeds.
Sauna and Spa below par. Entertainment was poor to be honest and mainly outside the hotel entrance under the canopy.
Food.
This was the worse part, very repetitive and not very good selection or choice.
If we went again it would be B&B only, plenty of places to eat close by or a short walk away.
Location was good, quiet area with easy access to beach and 10 minute walk to nightlife, 20 minutes to Fado's steak place or the weekly market.
This hotel has been very good at one time, just be let go and needs a little uplift.

Before coming to the hotel we were quite concerned with some of the reviews we had read, although we were positively surprised.
Stayed in a villa-type room within the hotel, it had its own pool, outside space, 2 beds and 2 bath. It was nice and clean. Outside space was lovely and caught the sun most of the day. We found a few faults, but, nothing worth complaining about. One day out freezer leaked, so we let reception staff know, quickly the team responded and fixed it quickly with no hesitation.
Seen lots of reviews criticising the food. I think the food was lovely. Freshly cooked meat and fish - cooked in front of you. Pork, beef, chicken, sea bass. A massive salad bar which was fresh. Lots of fresh fruit. Loads of deserts with different flavours of ice cream. Most food hot or warm. If not hot enough there is a microwave, but, a lot of it was hot and freshly cooked meals like curries, stir fry’s or pasta dishes came out relatively frequently / replaced. Pizza very tasty and hot. Breakfast there was fresh omelettes that were delicious. Bacon was yummy, sausages were vile. Overall food was good though, with some lovely things that stood out more than others.
99% of staff where lovely, friendly and professional . Only one member of staff, who was an older gentleman, was rude. Apart from that I could not fault the attentiveness and great service provided.
Location spot on, right on the beach and next to town. Lovely views from villa.
The housekeepers must work very hard. Our villa was cleaned daily to a high standard. The hotel in general is clean.
The entertainment is not the best. But, at least there is something. Inside bar does not open until 5pm, there is a pool bar open in the day though.
We were here for Christmas and they put on a nice meal with some home comforts like turkey, gravy and roasties served. Lots of salad and other meals. Provided Prosecco on entrance to dining which was a nice touch.
The pool area was nice, though pools were freezing. Not so much of an issue when hotel is on the beach as the sea was warmer than the pools!
Overall we had a nice and enjoyable stay.
