After reading the reviews, I wasn't expecting much of this hotel. However, to my delight I thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay!
The staff were all very friendly, happy, polite, and accommodating.
We went all inclusive, & as a fussy vegetarian I didn't struggle to find food each day which I enjoyed. My boyfriend enjoyed all the food too. For the drinks, you have to pay €1 for a cup for the full duration of your stay, and you get this back when you hand it in, personally I thought this was a good idea. The cocktails were strong but not that we minded!
Room was basic but large, we had a view of the pool from the balcony. I found all of the hotel to be very clean.
Vibes around the pool were great, there were daily activities or mini excursions. Sometimes if you arrive late to pick out a bed, they were all gone. Pool area opens at 10am so there's always a queue to get beds. It closes at 6pm which I haven't experienced before at a hotel, but didn't mind.
Unfortunately we didn't use the gym so can't comment. The spa you have to pay, but you get one day free use to use at any time during your stay. It has a pool, jacuzzi areas, sauna and steam room, it was so relaxing inside we loved it.
No views from the hotel itself as it is out of the way, again we didn't mind this, a taxi into the town is around €5-7, or around a 30min walk. We rented a car from reception and the process was so quick and easy!! This was around €120 for three days. There's ample parking to the front of the hotel.
Check out was easy and there's a shower room free to use if you have a late flight, which is great!
All in all I would return to this hotel if I were to visit Fuerteventura again, and I'd recommend it :)

Came here with my partner for a simple relaxing week, fairly decent hotel, not too many complaints but certain areas were lacking. Rooms are pretty good, roomy and clean however our soap in the room never got restocked and beds are hard (some people prefer that) and come with one pillow which was a bit annoying but you can take it on the chin. Food itself was simple and what you can expect at a all inclusive, nothing to write home about, although the breakfast they serve was bland and not nice, I ended up making rolls most morning instead of hot food options. WI-FI is not great it barely got to our room and is quite slow at times. The staff were lovely especially the reception staff , they left us food in our rooms after a late flight getting there and were very helpful. I feel like they need more staff behind bars however because sometimes you’re waiting a while. Cleanliness wasn’t a huge issue for us at all but a couple times out of the week the cleaners didn’t change our sheets and certain bins overflowed. The location isn’t great, don’t expect a lot to do in this area except look in tat shops or going to some restaurants in the area, great place to charge the batteries but not too party, The hotel do try their best when it comes to entertainment and activities though. The hotel also has a spa and gym and the pool area was pretty good as well but try and get to the pool at 10am or you won’t get a sunbed. Most guests are English or British so it was easy to get on with other couples there and most food options catered towards us but they do also have Spanish food options. Still had an amazing time but there’s always room for improvement.

On arrival staff was very friendly, check in was easy and we was informed off all the rules that the property had. We stayed for eight nights (room and breakfast only) from the 9 days we were in Costa Calma we only ate the dinner menu twice €20 per person. As a fussy eater I knew I wouldn’t like much however my partner eats like a human garbage can and even he wasn’t fond of the food, it was fairly repetitive even at breakfast times. The room was sparkling and couldn’t be any better; the cleanliness level was incredible and the service from staff during our stay was amazing. The spa is €15 per person but well worth the money; we went twice in the time we were there. It’s not as busy as the main pool where you’re lucky to even gain a sunbed. The main pool is only open from 10am to 6pm which we was a little disappointed about as for an adults only hotel you’d expect to be allowed in there a little later, unless you was there at 10am sharp there’s little to no chance of getting a sunbed. People were jumping the fence and reserving beds before it even opened and nothing was done about it which did let the hotel down a little however only having one lifeguard to monitor the pool makes it difficult to look for such behaviours. Overall we did enjoy our stay and the cleanliness and staff alone made it worth while.

I absolutely loved this hotel, although its a little dated it is spotlessly clean. The rooms a a really good size and the pool area is lovely. Good selection of food, could be a bit warmer but I was happy with it. People that moan about this hotel are probably expecting 5 star on a 4 star budget.

This is my 2nd year in a row staying in this hotel. My experience the 2nd time round was different. I got food poisoning from the hotel food on my last night! The food is buffet style with plenty of options, however it is never warm and I usually nuked everything in the microwave. On my last night I ate hake and calamari rings. I had come down in late evening and skipped using the microwave. The food was below luke warm but I didnt microwave them as I thought they were cooked fresh and should be no issue. How wrong was I, I woke up the next day with no appetite and pains in my stomach. By the time the transfer bus came for the airport. I had to hold down the vomit for the 1hr journey and had diahorrea the whole flight home. It was the most horrible experience having to travel 8 hours home like that. I haven't been able to eat today or get out of bed.
My room last year was a balcony room on the 3rd floor. I had no issues with noise. This year my room was on the 2nd floor with mini terrace onto the mini golf. My english neighbours had music pumping non stop. The walls are paper thin, at least in that part of the hotel.
I cant fault the staff. They are all really pleasant and cant do enough to help you. Particular Jesus and Angel on reception. I stayed for a week and was happy with the cleaning service. Wednesday was the only day the cleaner didn't come during the week and I had to ask for fresh towels at reception.
I hope this review helps someone. Please be wary of your food choices at this hotel. I had a great holiday but the food poisoning has left a sour taste at the end of the holiday. I am hoping to recover before returning to work.
