My partner and I have just returned from a 5 day stay. The hotel on arriving was very pleasant. The room was large with plenty of storage. We had a room with a side view over the water which was pretty. I have rated service as a 2 star but apologise as this is only aimed towards the bar staff. We could not thank the restaurant more. The restaurant staff were always happy, pleasant and very helpful. The food we could not fault, every day we had different foods to choose from that were very fresh. My disappointment came from the bar. We were all incisive within the hotel. On the second evening I asked for a larger glass which would hold more than two ice cubes for my GnT to be told no. Surprised by the response my partner asked the same question to be told he would accept the glass it was poured in or we would get nothing at all. I asked the hotel manager why this would be an issue. He called the bar manager and was told if you ask for a different glass you must pay for your drink. This is also the rule at the pool bar. If you pay for a beer you get to drink from a large plastic cup, but all inclusive a small one. I could understand if you were over indulging in the all inclusive alcohol but this was not the case. As a guest of the hotel we felt this made no sense and was a very petty rule that encouraged us to socialise out with the hotel. The bar staff were unhelpful and rude, this made us feel like an inconvenience as an all inclusive residents over a paying customer.

Positives Right on the beach and boardwalk. Very friendly helpful staff. Rooms nice enough, but nothing special. Negatives Bit of a throw back to the 1960's, with large canteen style buffet; although a good selection of food.

I want to say, I'm not disappointed but not very much screaming 100%. The rooms and bathroom was clean nothing to special. Had balcony view but not much view to look at. It's a big hotel, not much entertainment at night. And Xmas Dinner was disappointing the turn out was standard. But in all the service was good, everyone worked very hard considering the amount they had to cater for. One thing I will say is the watered down alcohol and drinks was not nice, just because its inclusive doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy a quality of drink or drinks.

Hi just come home from staying in this hotel. I must say it is a very clean an tidy hotel. We paid extra for a sea view room. Ended up over the over flow river. 4th floor on end building. room 427. Room was satisfactory. Hand an shower soap provided. Also had complimentary tooth brush an paste razor comb. Ect. Kettle an cups tea bags ect. Mini fridge. Cleaner came every day. Changed towels an beds every other day. We had breakfast an evening meal.Food was good plenty choice. Fresh things cooked as you wait. Only down side was the food in the selection was always WAS LUKE WARM. So most mornings i had toast hot bacon an egg just cooked. Choice of cold drinks or coffee. But of an evening it was still only Luke warm. if you didnt have alcohol drinks or bottled water. (Which you had to buy) asked for jug of water( which they called tap water) was free. Staff was fine. Hotel in lovely location. Advertised with entertainment but only had a man singing on Fri night an Spanish man an women on sat night.( think that was because it was early in season. ) couldn't fault hotel. An area right on the beach. But not a lot round about in entertainment. 3 places we found you had to pay to get in. ( again think it was early season. Irish bar had entertainment but not every night. The weather wasn't that good. So that also makes a difference. Had a problem with the balcony door not locking. Seen reception an it was sorted when we got back to room. So big 👍 for that. We'll done vik gran.

Nice location and the Hotel was ok , but the Food was Awful!!!! . Went down on the first evening at 6.30 the food was already cold and dry, the bread rolls were solid !! . We ate out that evening. The next morning Breakfast so we thought we would give it a go. Was possibly ok but we gave it a miss. Such a shame
