We stayed for two nights, and had a great time! The room was clean, we got fresh towels everyday, though the beds were not made everday (we did not mind and this could have been because of the shortness of our stay! But just a note if you need that.) the beds were comfy, the breakfast is buffet style but they have a market too and an arcade! Everything is super close and they have shuttles to universal which was awesome. We ended up taking a Uber back and it was about $10. :)

Great experience overall. The rooms are very large, spacious, and clean, with comfortable beds and well-maintained spaces. The hotel is huge but well organized, offering several useful amenities.
The location is excellent: very close to Universal Studios, with a convenient free shuttle service that makes getting to the parks easy and stress-free. There is also on-site parking available for guests with a car.
Friendly and helpful staff. Overall, a comfortable and practical stay, especially if you’re visiting Universal and the Orlando area. Highly recommended.

Location- is great.
Shuttle- is convenient, however it's not continuous for all day back and forth. There's a few runs in the morning, and a few in the evening. If you plan to come back for your little ones to nap mid-day you'll need to uber etc. Or if you plan to stay at the parks until closing then you'll need to uber.
Room- absolutely terrible. We first walked into the room and it smelt like smoke. There was a coffee stain on the table from the previous people. Room is out dated and tiny. The bathroom is just big enough to turn around, the sink can't even fit in there next to the toilet. If you have children that you need to help bathe etc, please save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. Our first night we highly debated leaving and booking elsewhere.

Adequate for a night, but beware road noise and bring your own pillow!
You get what you pay for when it comes to the Rosen Inn. At about $90 for the night after taxes, I can’t complain at the price-point, but when checking in see if you can secure a room facing away from the highway, as the road noise even from the 9th floor facing north was very apparent. Our AC unit would squeal a little cry of death every time it kicked off which also was bothersome. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows on our king bed were very small and unpleasant. They provided 4 pillows total, but they could not even span the width of the bed when placed next to each other. The room was clean and provided a mini fridge, sink outside the (small) bathroom with toilet and shower, and perfectly ok towels. We didn’t use the bath products.
The shuttle was misleading. We had wanted to take it from this hotel to our next hotel on universal properly, but no luggage is permitted, so BEWARE of the rules!
The front desk staff were hit or miss. Some were happy with a pleasant attitude and some were…. Very awkward and almost hostile toward the other employees and toward the guests.

I had a very bad experience at Rosen Inn and would not recommend this hotel, especially for families.
I made an online reservation for two rooms for myself, my wife, and our four children. At check-in, I specifically asked the front desk agent if we could have two rooms next to each other. She assured me multiple times that it would not be a problem. I also asked if the rooms would be connecting, and while she said no, she again confirmed they would be next to each other, which I was fine with.
After checking in, we rested for about an hour after driving several hours. When I went to check on the second room, I realized it was on the complete opposite side of the building, not next to our room at all.
I immediately called the front desk and explained the situation. I was told not to worry, to gather my family, and to come to the lobby because they would be able to move us to rooms next to each other and provide the keys.
Within five minutes of arriving at the lobby, we were suddenly told that they could not accommodate us because the room had already been taken. I asked to speak with a manager, and instead of trying to resolve the issue, the manager told me that my story didn’t match theirs, essentially accusing me of being untruthful.
The manager then said there were no rooms available to fix the issue and that I could either keep the rooms as they were or leave and request a refund. Given that we were traveling with four kids, having rooms far apart was not acceptable. We chose to leave and had to find another hotel late in the day.
The staff was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, and no effort was made to correct a problem that was caused by their own promises at check-in. Being told one thing, then blamed when it turns out not to be true, is unacceptable.
This was a stressful and frustrating experience, and I will not be staying here again.
