Amazing and luxurious. The staff were super friendly and always available. There's no convenience store nearby so that's a shame. But the place is filled with so much to do. Like pool table, indoor pool, outdoor pool, jacuzzi and even a sauna.

This was our third stay in 3 years and we've already booked for next year! Have to say some things have even improved since our stay last year.
Firstly we arrived after 11pm (there is no food service after 11pm) due to a late flight, but in line with our pre-arrival request, they had managed to plate 4 meals for us so that we could all eat before going to our room - amazing service!
We had perfect, spacious rooms overlooking the turtle pools at the front end of the hotel...housekeeping was friendly, prompt and thorough each day. If food if what you love then this hotel is for you - especially evening buffet with different themes each night and an array of different dishes, offering variety with 5-star ingredients and flavours, and not bulked out with cheap filers like many hotels. Awesome breakfast buffet too. The golf driving range has also improved this year....that was one of the most expensive things for us in previous years but now you do at least get 48 balls for your 7 euros, which for us is comparable to what we would pay at a hotel locally in England. Course played well this year and we had three rounds which we thoroughly enjoyed.
In the middle of our stay the "electricity blackout" happened, but the hotel didn't miss a beat, coming up with a self-constructed BBQ to cook dinner meat options - the rest of dinner was still perfect. The team did an awesome job - couldn't have asked for more from the catering team to the guest relations team - Nicole came in on her day off to ensure guests were kept informed and our experience honestly couldn't have been better in the circumstances.
The only thing which is slightly disappointing is that now (hadnt been the case in any other year we've stayed here) the hotel is also used by groups of rowdy, disrespectful, young men (mostly if not all, "Brits abroad") who seemed intent on being loud and obnoxious, starting at breakfast time where they helped themselves to handfuls of food on their way out of the breakfast buffet, talking with their phones on speaker, and then congregating from early evening in the Prime Bar watching football on TV, without shirts on, vaping and generally being noisy and disruptive - made me feel a little unsafe at times because things can kick off so fast in that situation. I hope this is managed closely because it would be a shame if this little gem is ruined for regular guests because of the behaviour of groups of rowdy drunks.
Aside from this - brilliant stay!

Firstly this is not a 5 star resort/hotel. Have stayed in many 5 star hotels in my life, this was not one that can be given that rating.
5 star has a grand entrance normally. This did not. Reception was so small and over crowded with check in. There is only 2 lifts in the building. Villa are decent but not 5 start quality..only shower with a bath tub no shower cubicle. Very dark rooms even with curtains drawn back. Very dated decore. Hot/cold taps didn't work well. Infact i had a leak in the bathroom( flooded bathroom and hallway )when I returned after my golf. Called Reception, could not fix it as they didn't have parts for leaking tap. Got eventually fixed after 5 hrs almost requested to move into another room. Restaurant had a nice feel to it. Food was lovely. Lack of English speaking waiters was a challenge task ordering food or drink.
But the worst part of the trip was the golf Reception incident that happened to us.
We needed to hire golf Buggy. They either do 18 hole full day or 9 hole half day. We needed 3 days of full day hire. We arranged with Reception before hand that we will play 9 in the morning have lunch then 9 hole in the afternoon after lunch. ALL AGREED AND ON THEIR SYSTEM.On first day, everything went smoothly. Second day did morning session. Went for lunch and about to start afternoon session and we could not find our Buggy where we left it last. Asked at reception to help us locate it, rather than helping us do that, asked why we had lunch in-between sessions. Told them we had agreed before hand and did exactly same day before without any issue. Guy at the reception then insisted we will need to pay again for the afternoon session as we had stopped. I insisted that was not going to happen as we have already paid for full day of hire. Heated argument followed after that between us. There was no customer service manager to speak to as the guy at reception said I make decisions here. Very bad customer service. Totally disappointed. What was suppose to be a good golfing trip to Portugal, turned into a nightmare. Won't be going there again and hope people read this review and make up their mind after.

Perfect for a golfer who doesn't want to go elsewhere. 5 minute walk from hotel room to clubhouse and 1st, 10th and 19th tees. Staff can't be more helpful. It's my 3rd visit and never had a problem.

A very nice resort with its own golf course, which was also very nice. Rooms are a bit dated. We were two golfers sharing a room, and I would have expected a double twin room, but we got one room with a massive double, and a small single in the sitting room. So, not ideal. But still, a pretty awesome stay. Breakfast was superb, the bar was great and it has all the amenities like outdoor and indoor pool, gym, etc. But best of all, was the staff – really helpful, kind, warm and with a sense of humour.
