We came to this hotel for a weekend in March and were very happy with our stay. The hotel is located in a beautiful place, surrounded by nature, not far from a street with bars and restaurants. The city center is about a 10-minute drive away, and taxis are inexpensive. In addition, the hotel provides a free shuttle to the center, which is very convenient.
The hotel itself is located on the coast and has an excellent beach. There are many restaurants and bars on the premises. I think it's especially pleasant to relax here in the summer. The staff is excellent, the receptionists work quickly and are always ready to help.
The rooms have been recently renovated, look modern, and fully correspond to the photos. Everything has been thought out for comfort: there are bathrobes, slippers, and a coffee machine. The room is very clean.
The breakfast is excellent — there is a large selection of dishes, and they even serve sparkling wine, which creates a pleasant mood. The hotel also offers buffet dinners with a good variety of dishes.
One minor drawback is that the bathrooms in the rooms are a little outdated and could use some renovation. However, everything is very clean, and the hotel uses high-quality toiletries.
The spa area is paid, and you need a swimming cap for the pool, which you either need to bring with you or buy at the reception. The spa itself could also use some renovation.
I would like to mention the gym separately — it has been renovated and has new equipment, so it was really pleasant to work out there.
Overall, we had a great weekend. The hotel offers many different activities, the grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, everything is very clean, and there are plenty of places to walk. Thank you to the hotel team for a wonderful stay.

Expected more from a 5* hotel. The apartments are dated and in need of work. It does look like the hotel is currently undergoing upgrades in this area but my rating reflects the stay that we had. We also stayed for two nights in the sea view rooms. These were much nicer but obviously came at a heavier cost. Disappointed overall with the quality of the apartments considering the hotels 5* status. I’m sure it will be nicer once the work is completed.
We were advised that checkout is 10am from the apartments but 12 from the main hotel rooms. Unsure why there should be a difference for guests staying in any type of room. Breakfast was good. One member of staff had a slight attitude when we asked whether we could either extend the schedule out time or check in early got the other room type. Just laughed and said look we have many people checking in today pointing towards paperwork. Would have been nicer if it had just been explained calmly that there isn’t a possibility due to the hotel being fully booked.

We have stayed in March and overall had a pleasant stay.
The room was clean apart from a few stains on the walls. We were allocated a room on the -2 level which initially thought is a basement but turned out to be a ground floor where you could see a snippet of the sea which was nice. The toilet in our room was broken and kept filling with water long after flushing, which produced unpleasant noise.
There is a mixed opinion on the reception staff, some were pleasant to interact with and some seemed like they would rather be anywhere else other than working as a receptionist. Made us feel like we are bothering while asking very simple questions.
The breakfast had a good variety of sweet and savoury, so I believe anyone would be satisfied just like we were. The orange juice especially was very nice.
We really appreciated the free shuttle to the Old/New Town as the hotel's location is a bit more remote. I can see how it would be pleasant during main season as Albufeira is known as the place where british young people go for parties.
We did not really use most of the facilities of the hotel itself as we did not stay for too long. But just from the look, the pools at the hotel are sort of small for how many people can be accommodated at the resort.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here however I wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel for couples or families due to a few reasons that impacted the overall feel of the stay - A lot of maintenance going on while staying at the hotel hallways dirty and dusty - anything we asked for at reception (AC to be fixed and bottled water for room) we were told someone would be sent up only to wait in the room and have to go back down to reception for the same request to repeat (for days) Have to pay for extra facilities that look like they’re included (sun beds at the beach ) access to indoor pool we were told it was €20 per person why would we pay when we are staying at the hotel 😂 Hotel should be providing filtered water for guests there was a sign in the gym saying non gym going residents could not use the water I have never seen something like this in my life, definitely not ideal for families. There is a strange feeling with some of the staff I noticed this at breakfast and at the reception it’s as if they are trying to catch you out on something, and some of them not friendly. Shoutout to bar staff by the main pool who work very hard I must say especially the young man this week he was running around and the man in charge of the towels was also friendly. Overall very small things that could really make this hotel feel like a true 5 star if actioned. Hopefully management will take this feedback on board as the setting of the hotel, layout and rooms we stayed in were fab.

We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and so that our child could enjoy the activities and the heated pool. We selected the hotel based on the pictures and reviews; however, the reality was unfortunately very far from our expectations.
Upon arrival, we were assigned a room adapted for disabled guests without being given any choice or prior notice. There was also no attention or acknowledgment of our special occasion at check-in.
The pool was not properly heated, and our child was cold while using it. The breakfast was extremely disappointing, to the point that we requested a refund, as the food felt highly industrial and of very poor quality — even the eggs did not seem fresh or real.
After two days of complaints and multiple discussions with the staff, we were finally moved to a larger room. However, the view was worse than the sea view room we had originally booked. In addition, the rooms were not properly cleaned, there were flies everywhere, and the terraces were clearly not maintained, with chairs covered in bird droppings.
The only truly positive aspect of our stay was the kids’ club. The staff there were wonderful — friendly, caring, and very attentive to our child.
Overall, this experience did not reflect the standards of a true 5-star hotel, and unfortunately, we will not return.
